【Task】
When a user with different left and right visual acuity, or a user with the same left and right visual acuity, changes the focal length of the variable focus lens continuously to visually recognize the object to be viewed, the right and left are simultaneously In addition, there is a problem that it is impossible to make a visually recognized object clearly visible.
[Solution]
Variable focus lenses 15R, 15L, drive units 23R, 23L, touch sensors 51, 57, and a control unit 25, and the change amount of the operation time of the touch sensors 51, 57 and the constant change amount correlated with the operation time Each of the drive units 23R and 23L has a function of determining a visual driving amount that changes according to the amount of the change so that each user can clearly see the visual target object. When a predetermined operation is performed on 51 and 57, the control unit 25 individually controls the drive units 23R and 23L so that the drive amounts of the drive units 23R and 23L simultaneously become the visual drive amounts.

Description

The present invention relates to variable focus glasses capable of adjusting the focal length.

In general, the human eye's focus adjustment function decreases with age, and presbyopic symptoms appear. For this reason, in the prior art, it is necessary to wear near eyeglasses (glasses that look closer, such as reading glasses). In addition, when a person with myopia ages and presbyopia appears, near-sight glasses (glasses that look closer, such as presbyopia) and distance glasses (glasses that look far away, glasses for near-sightedness) I had to change glasses) alternately. Therefore, in order to solve these problems, spectacles for viewing the distance using a variable focus lens have been disclosed.

(例えば、特許文献1)   For example, the amount of liquid flowing into the lens space is changed by enclosing liquid in a lens with a space formed therein, a lens space and a reservoir connected to this space, and rotating a dial provided in the reservoir. A variable focus spectacle that can be adjusted in frequency has been filed. (For example, Patent Document 1)

However, in this variable focus glasses, the user has to rotate the right dial and the left dial individually each time depending on the distance to the object to be viewed, and the user with different left and right eyesight, or When a user with the same left and right eyesight changes the focal length of the variable focus lens continuously and tries to view the object to be viewed, the user can clearly see the object to be viewed at the same time for each user. In other words, there is a problem that it is impossible to form an image of a visual recognition object on the left and right retinas of the user at the same time, and to focus on the left and right retinas of the user at the same time.

(例えば、特許文献2)   In addition, as spectacles for viewing the distance using a variable focus lens, spectacles for changing the focal point by changing the volume of the transparent liquid inside the lens body by operating a pump are disclosed. (For example, Patent Document 2)

By the way, in this spectacles, when the pump is operated, the transparent liquid flows into the lens body from the inlet, while the transparent liquid in the lens body is discharged from the outlet. And the transparent liquid discharged | emitted from the discharge port is again inject | poured into a lens body from an injection port through a tube and a pump. In other words, the transparent liquid only circulates, and the focal length of the lens body cannot be adjusted in the first place.

In the glasses, one tube connected to the discharge side of the pump is branched in the middle, and a transparent liquid is injected into each lens body. And the transparent liquid discharged | emitted from each lens body merges into one tube, and is connected to the suction side of a pump. That is, the glasses do not have a mechanism for adjusting the focal length for each of the left and right lens bodies, and cannot adjust the focal length for each of the left and right lens bodies. In other words, this eyeglass is used when a user with different left and right eyesight or a user with the same left and right eyesight tries to visually recognize the object to be viewed by continuously changing the focal length of the variable focus lens. Make it possible for each user to clearly and visually recognize the object to be viewed at the same time. Cannot be combined).

(例えば、特許文献3)   Further, as spectacles for viewing from a perspective by using a variable focus lens, electronic glasses that change the focus by applying a voltage to the variable focus lens when a plurality of switches provided on the frame are simultaneously pressed are disclosed. (For example, Patent Document 3)

However, this electronic glasses simply switches between a far field and a near field, and even if a user with different visual acuity uses the electronic glasses, the user can clearly see the object to be viewed. Is not limited. This electronic eyeglass is used when a user with different left and right eyesight or a user with the same left and right eyesight tries to visually recognize an object to be viewed by continuously changing the focal length of the variable focus lens. Make it possible to clearly see the object to be viewed at the same time on both the left and right sides (to form an image of the object to be viewed on the left and right retinas of the user at the same time, It has a problem that it cannot be combined.

(例えば、特許文献4)   As a spectacle that uses a variable focus lens, a liquid crystal lens is attached to a fixed lens that looks far, and when the focus switch is pressed to switch the plunger to the ON contact side, a voltage is applied to the liquid crystal lens. When switching to the near field of view and switching the plunger to the OFF contact side, the voltage applied to the liquid crystal lens is stopped, and electronic glasses that can see the far field of view by the power of the solid lens are disclosed. (For example, Patent Document 4)

In addition, since this electronic spectacles must use a solid lens unique to the user for use at a distance, there is a problem that the visual target object is not always clearly seen when the user is replaced. . Moreover, even when this electronic spectacle is used exclusively for the user, if the power of the user progresses, it is necessary to recreate the solid lens part, and in turn pull down the liquid crystal lens as well. Have. Therefore, the electronic glasses are not only versatile for users with different visual acuity and users with different left and right visual acuity, but also when used exclusively for the user (for example, the user's visual acuity is low). (It does not change) has a problem that is limited.

(例えば、特許文献5)   In addition, as a spectacle that uses a variable focus lens to see the perspective, by applying a voltage between the electroactive polymer member in the bellows and the counter electrode to deform the bellows, the membrane of the variable focus lens section is fluid and transparent A variable focus lens device is disclosed that changes the focal length by allowing a filling liquid to be taken in and out. (For example, Patent Document 5)

However, this varifocal lens device simply drives the hydraulic pump, allows the fluid transparent filling liquid to enter and exit, curves the membrane, and switches the focal point. The focal lengths of the left and right variable focus lenses must be adjusted for each side. This variable focus lens device, when a user with different left and right visual acuity, or a user with the same left and right visual acuity, continuously changes the focal length of the variable focus lens and tries to visually recognize the object to be viewed, For each user, make it possible to clearly see the object to be viewed at the same time on the left and right (to form an image of the object to be viewed on the left and right retinas of the user at the same time, on the left and right retinas of the user at the same time. It has a problem that it cannot be brought into focus.

特表2011−516925号公報Special table 2011-516925 gazette 特開平5−303011JP-A-5-303011 特開2009−80242号公報JP 2009-80242 A 特開2009−98649号公報JP 2009-98649 A 特開2009−251420号公報JP 2009-251420 A

In view of the above points, the present invention is based on a case where a user with different left and right visual acuity or a user with the same left and right visual acuity continuously changes the focal length of the variable focus lens and tries to visually recognize the object to be viewed. , For each user, to make it possible to clearly see the object to be viewed at the same time on the left and right sides (to form an image of the object to be viewed on the left and right retinas of the user at the same time, An object of the present invention is to provide variable focus glasses capable of focusing at the same time.

本発明は、上記目的を達成するために、請求項1に記載の発明では、焦点距離を変化させることができる左右一対の可変焦点レンズを備え、左右の視力が異なる使用者を含む個々の使用者が使用する可変焦点眼鏡において;
In order to achieve the above object, according to the present invention, in the first aspect of the present invention, each use including a pair of left and right variable focus lenses capable of changing the focal length and including users with different left and right visual acuity is provided. In variable focus glasses used by the
A drive unit that is provided for each variable focus lens and changes the focal length of the variable focus lens;
A switch that performs a predetermined operation of driving the drive unit to continuously change the focal length of the variable focus lens;
A control unit that controls a driving unit in response to a predetermined operation of the switch;
With
Drives a visual drive amount that allows individual users to clearly see the visual target object, which changes according to any of the change amount of the switch operation time and the constant change amount correlated with the operation time. It has a function to determine each part,
When the user performs a predetermined operation on the switch, the control unit individually controls the drive unit so that each drive amount of the drive unit becomes a visual drive amount at the same time.

According to this, when a predetermined operation is performed on the switch, it is possible to change the focal length while maintaining the state in which each drive amount of the drive unit becomes the visual drive amount at the same time. This drive unit is provided for each variable focus lens and changes the focal length of the variable focus lens. The visual driving amount is such that each time the variable focal length of the variable focal length lens continuously changes, a user of variable focal spectacles including users with different left and right visual acuity can clearly visually recognize the visual target object individually. Since each drive amount of the drive unit is set to the visual drive amount at the same time, the visual target object can be clearly visually recognized at the same time on the left and right sides (the image of the visual target object is displayed by the user). The left and right retinas can be focused simultaneously, and the user's left and right retinas can be focused simultaneously).

For this reason, when a user performs a predetermined operation while visually recognizing a visual object at a predetermined distance, even if the left and right visual acuity is different, the individual focal lengths of the left and right variable focus lenses are When the focal length at which the visual target at a predetermined distance can be clearly viewed is reached, the user can clearly visually recognize the visual target at the predetermined distance simultaneously on the left and right.

As a result, when a user with different left and right eyesight, or a user with the same left and right eyesight, continuously changes the focal length of the variable focus lens and tries to visually recognize the object to be viewed, , To make it possible to clearly see the object to be viewed at the same time on the left and right (to form an image of the object to be viewed on the left and right retinas of the user at the same time, and to focus on the left and right retinas of the user at the same time) ) Can be provided.

In addition, by a simple operation, for each user, the left and right objects can be clearly seen at the same time (the image of the visually recognized object is simultaneously formed on the left and right retinas of the user, It is possible to provide variable focus glasses capable of simultaneously focusing on the retina.

According to a second aspect of the present invention, in the first aspect, for each individual user, the visual recognition is performed based on each driving amount of the driving unit when the predetermined storage object can be clearly visually recognized in advance. A predetermined function for setting the driving amount is derived,
The visual driving amount is set based on the function.

According to this, even if the left and right eyesights are different users, it is possible to individually set a viewing driving amount that allows a visually recognized object to be clearly seen.

According to a third aspect of the present invention, in the first or second aspect of the invention, the visual driving amount is maintained when the drive unit is stopped.

According to this, it is possible to maintain a state where the user can clearly see the visual target object where the user can clearly see the visual target object he / she wishes to view.

The invention according to claim 4 is the variable focus lens according to any one of claims 1 to 3, wherein the variable focus lens is a variable focus lens capable of changing a focal length by taking in and out of a liquid,
The drive unit is a drive unit that changes the focal length of the variable focus lens by taking in and out the liquid.

According to this, since the variable-focus lens is a variable-focus lens that can change the focal length by taking in and out of the liquid, a problem such as liquid crystal-type variable-focus glasses, that is, a dielectric material is used. In general, the problem of lowering the light transmittance of the lens, the lower the light transmittance of the lens, the lower the brightness, the user's pupil diameter becomes larger, the depth of focus becomes shallower, and the focus is adjusted. The problem that it is difficult, the problem of placing a burden on the user, the problem that it is difficult to increase the diameter and the field of view is limited can be solved.

As in the invention described in claim 5, in claim 4, the drive unit includes a drive source and a movable unit that is movable when the drive source is driven,
The moving amount of the movable part is the driving amount,
The amount of movement of the movable part when the visual object at the visual distance can be clearly visually recognized may be set as the visual drive amount.

The invention according to claim 6 is the variable focus lens according to any one of claims 1 to 3, wherein the variable focus lens is a variable focus lens capable of changing a focal length by increasing or decreasing an applied voltage,
The drive unit is a drive unit that changes the focal length of the variable focus lens by increasing or decreasing the applied voltage.

According to this, the apparatus can be reduced in size and weight. As a result, it is possible to provide variable focus glasses that are comfortable for the user. Further, unlike liquid variable focus glasses, it is not necessary to consider liquid leakage.

As in the invention described in claim 7, the variable focus glasses described in claims 1 to 6 may further include a distance measuring unit that measures the distance to the visual object.

In the following description, a pair of left and right varifocal lenses 15 and temples 19 are used separately as necessary as necessary. That is, of the pair of left and right variable focus lenses 15, the right variable focus lens 15 is referred to as a variable focus lens 15R and the left variable focus lens 15 is referred to as a variable focus lens 15L with the user wearing variable focus glasses 11. Shall be referred to as Further, the right temple 19 is referred to as a temple 19R and the left temple 19 is referred to as a temple 19L with the user wearing the variable focus glasses 11. The drive unit 23 provided on the right temple 19R is referred to as a drive unit 23R, and the drive unit 23 provided on the left temple 19L is referred to as a drive unit 23L. The stepping motor 35 provided on the right temple 19R is referred to as a stepping motor 35R, and the stepping motor 35 provided on the left temple 19L is referred to as a stepping motor 35L. The stepping motor 35 constitutes an example of a drive source according to the present invention.

Further, when the stepping motor is driven, the drive unit is driven as a result. Further, the control unit controlling the stepping motor also results in the control unit controlling the drive unit. For this reason, it describes as driving a stepping motor (drive part) suitably, a control part controlling a stepping motor (drive part), etc. suitably. The control unit is used in a broad concept including a storage unit to be described later, and is described as being stored in the storage unit (control unit), stored in the storage unit (control unit), or the like.

The viewing distance, viewing drive amount, and operation time of the present invention will be described. The visual recognition distance of the present invention is a distance at which the user can clearly see the visual object when the focal length of the variable focus lens is changed. The viewing distance may be a distance between a predetermined part of the variable focus glasses and the viewing object, or may be a distance between the user and the viewing object. Moreover, it is good also as a distance from the predetermined position set between the predetermined site | part of a variable focus spectacles or a user, and a visual recognition target object to a visual recognition target object. Incidentally, in the varifocal glasses, when the focal length of the varifocal lens is continuously changed, the viewing distance at which the user can clearly see the viewing object is changed each time. The visual driving amount of the present invention is the driving amount of the driving unit when the visual object at the visual distance can be clearly viewed.

The operation time of the present invention refers to pressing, touching, touching, turning on, etc. a switch that performs a predetermined operation for continuously changing the focal length of the variable focus lens by driving the drive unit. Say time to drive. It should be noted that the operation time of the present invention is the time when the above-described switch (the switch that performs a predetermined operation for continuously changing the focal length of the variable focus lens by driving the driving unit) is pressed, touched, touched, or turned on. It is good.

Note that the user of the variable focus glasses in the present invention does not necessarily have the same left and right eyesight, and the left and right eyesight may be different.

As shown in FIG. 5, the variable focus lens 15 is a flexible lens disposed between a front lens 15a that forms the front surface side, a rear lens 15b that forms the rear surface side, the front lens 15a, and the rear lens 15b. A film 15c is provided. A space 15d is formed between the front lens 15a and the flexible film 15c, and a space 15e is formed between the flexible film 15c and the rear lens 15b. The rear lens 15b described above is formed with a hole 15f that communicates the space 15e and the communication path 13a. The communication path 13a communicates the hole 15f and a storage chamber 37 described later. The space 15e, the hole 15f, the communication passage 13a, and the storage chamber 37 are filled with a transparent liquid 21 (for example, silicon oil having high transparency).

Further, in the right temple 19R, the transparent liquid 21 is taken in and out of the right variable focus lens 15R, and the thickness of the right variable focus lens 15R is changed, thereby changing the focal length of the right variable focus lens 15R. A drive unit 23R, drive units 23R and 23L, and a power supply unit 27 that supplies power to the control unit 25 are provided. Further, in the left temple 19L, the transparent liquid 21 is taken in and out of the left variable focus lens 15L, and the thickness of the left variable focus lens 15L is changed, thereby changing the focal length of the left variable focus lens 15L. A drive unit 23L and a control unit 25 that controls the drive units 23R and 23L are provided. The electric power supplied from the power supply unit 27 is transmitted to the drive unit 23 and the control unit 25 via the wiring 29 (illustrated in FIG. 2). The wiring 29 described above may be a wiring pattern formed on a film by etching, copper foil pasting, or the like. By forming the wiring pattern on the film, the spectacle frame 13 can be reduced in size.

Next, the drive unit 23 will be described. In the description, the drive unit 23L provided in the left temple 19L will be described. The drive unit 23R provided on the right temple 19R is configured in the same manner as the drive unit 23L provided on the left temple 19L.

As shown in FIG. 5, an inner diameter portion 19a is formed in the left temple 19L, and a piston 31, a feed screw shaft 33, and a left stepping motor 35L are incorporated in the inner diameter portion 19a. Of the inner diameter portion 19a, at least a portion where the piston 31 slides is formed in a cylindrical shape, and a storage chamber 37 for storing the transparent liquid 21 is formed by the piston 31 and the inner diameter portion 19a. The piston 31 is formed with a female screw, and a feed screw shaft 33 is screwed into the piston 31.

The shaft 35a of the left stepping motor 35L is press-fitted into the inner diameter portion 33a of the feed screw shaft 33. When the shaft 35a rotates, the feed screw shaft 33 rotates integrally. When the shaft 35a of the left stepping motor 35L rotates counterclockwise when viewed from the opposite side of the shaft 35a in the direction of the shaft 35a, the piston 31 moves in the direction D shown in FIG. At this time, the transparent liquid 21 stored in the storage chamber 37 moves to the space 15e side through the communication path 13a and the hole 15f. When the transparent liquid 21 flows into the space 15e, the left variable focus lens 15L swells in the thickness direction, and the refractive index can be increased (focal length can be shortened).

Further, when the shaft 35a of the left stepping motor 35L rotates clockwise from the opposite side of the shaft 35a as viewed in the direction of the shaft 35a, the piston 31 moves in the E direction shown in FIG. At this time, the transparent liquid 21 stored in the space 15e moves to the storage chamber 37 side via the hole 15f and the communication path 13a. When the transparent liquid 21 moves to the storage chamber 37 side, the left variable focus lens 15L is contracted in the thickness direction, and the refractive index can be lowered (the focal length can be increased). The piston 31 is provided with a detent 31a so that the piston 31 does not rotate when the feed screw shaft 33 rotates.

By the way, when a predetermined amount of pulse signal is given from the control unit 25 to the right stepping motor 35R and the left stepping motor 35L, the shaft 35a rotates by an angle corresponding to the amount (number of pulses) of the pulse signal. The number of pulses described above is a drive amount when driving the drive units 23R and 23L. Since the number of pulses described above can be converted into the rotation amount of the shaft 35a, the rotation amount of the shaft 35a may be treated as the drive amount of the present invention. Moreover, you may handle the moving amount | distance of a movable part (for example, piston 31) as a drive amount of this invention. You may detect the moving amount | distance of the movable part (for example, piston 31) mentioned above using a linear scale, a sensor, etc. The movable portion is a portion that is movable when a drive source (stepping motor 35 in the first embodiment) is driven, and corresponds to the piston 31 and the feed screw shaft 33 in the first embodiment.

Note that a rotary encoder may be provided in the above-described right stepping motor 35R and left stepping motor 35L. The rotary encoder functions as drive amount detection means. As shown in FIG. 1, when the rotary encoder 39 is provided in the stepping motors 35R and 35L, the number of pulses and the rotation amount of the shaft 35a converted from the number of pulses can be detected very accurately. Further, the number of pulses can be fed back to the control unit 25 to control the drive units 23R and 23L.

Next, the control unit 25 will be described. The control unit 25 stores a control program for controlling the right stepping motor 35R (drive unit 23R), the left stepping motor 35L, and (drive unit 23L). This control program is an individual user that changes in accordance with any one of a change amount of an operation time of switches (touch sensors 51 and 57) described later or a constant change amount correlated with the operation time. Has a function of determining a visual driving amount by which the visual object can be clearly recognized for each of the right stepping motor 35R (drive unit 23R) and the left stepping motor 35L (drive unit 23L). The constant change amount correlated with the operation time will be described later.

The control unit 25 will be described in more detail. As shown in FIG. 6, the control unit 25 includes a CPU 61, a storage unit 63, and a predetermined interface 65. The CPU 61 has a function of reading a control program stored in the storage unit 63 and performing various processes.

The storage unit 63 includes a RAM 67 and a ROM 69. The RAM 67 has a function of storing various flags, variable values, and the like as a temporary storage area for control programs and execution programs. The ROM 69 also stores a control program for controlling the stepping motor 35, an execution program for executing various controls by determining a signal input by operating a switch, which will be described later, and initial data.

In addition, the storage unit 63 described above indicates a driving amount (such as the number of pulses of the stepping motor 35) of the driving unit 23 when the user visually recognizes the visual recognition object individually and can visually recognize the visual recognition object. It has a function to memorize. The driving amount described above is taught by the user using teaching means described later. The driving amount is stored in the storage unit 63 (the control unit 25 or the variable focus glasses 11) when the user teaches. The drive amount is stored for each of the left and right variable focus lenses 15R and 15L or for each of the drive units 23R and 23L.

In addition to the storage unit 63 described above, a part for storing the drive amount of the drive unit 23 (for example, the storage unit 71 shown in FIG. 6) may be provided.

Next, the operation unit 47 will be described. An operation unit 47 is provided on the right temple 19R and the left temple 19L. As shown in FIG. 4, the right temple 19 of the operation unit 47 is provided with a power switch 49 for turning the power on and off, a touch sensor 51, and a teaching button 53. Further, as shown in FIG. 3, the left temple 19 </ b> L of the operation unit 47 is provided with a mode switching button 55, a touch sensor 57, and a registration button 59.

When the touch sensor 51 or the touch sensor 57 is touched, a predetermined signal is input to the control unit 25. The touch sensor 51 and the touch sensor 57 constitute an example of the switch of the present invention. In addition to the touch sensor described above, the switch may be another switch such as a push button switch or a proximity switch.

The mode switching button 55 switches modes. When the mode switching button 55 is pressed, the automatic control mode, the viewpoint switching mode, the constant mode, the arbitrary mode, and the teaching mode can be switched.

In the automatic control mode, the stepping motors 35R and 35L (drive units 23R and 23L) are controlled according to the distance to the visual target object so that the user can clearly see the visual target object. In this mode, the focal lengths of the lenses 15R and 15L are automatically changed. The viewpoint switching mode is a mode in which the focal length is individually switched for a plurality of visual objects at different distances, and the control unit 25 allows the stepping motor to clearly view the visual object. In this mode, the focal lengths of the variable focus lenses 15R and 15L are changed by controlling 35R and 35L (drive units 23R and 23L). The constant mode is a mode in which the focal length is made constant when inconvenience occurs when the focal length changes, such as when driving an automobile. The arbitrary mode is a mode in which the focal lengths of the variable focus lenses 15R and 15L are changed by manual control.

By the way, in order to make it possible for each user to clearly see the object to be visually recognized, the user teaches in advance. To perform teaching, the mode switching button 55 is pressed to enter teaching mode. In addition, when the visual recognition object can be visually recognized clearly, the image of the visual recognition object is formed on the retina of the user (in focus).

When the user touches the touch sensor 51 with a finger during the teaching mode, a predetermined signal is input to the control unit 25. Then, when the user removes his / her finger from the touch sensor 51, the signal input is stopped. Each time a signal is input, the control unit 25 controls the right stepping motor 35R so that the shaft 35a of the right stepping motor 35R repeats forward rotation and reverse rotation alternately. While the touch sensor 51 is being touched, normal rotation or reverse rotation of the shaft 35a is maintained, and when the finger is released, the shaft 35a stops.

Similarly, when the user touches the touch sensor 57 with a finger during the teaching mode, a predetermined signal is input to the control unit 25. Then, when the user releases his / her finger from the touch sensor 57, the signal input is stopped. The control unit 25 controls the left stepping motor 35L so that the shaft 35a of the left stepping motor 35L repeats forward rotation and reverse rotation every time a signal is input. While the touch sensor 57 is being touched, normal rotation or reverse rotation of the shaft 35a is maintained, and when the finger is released, it stops.

Teaching includes two-point teaching that teaches two points of perspective, three-point teaching that teaches three points, multi-point teaching that teaches multiple points, and the like.

The two-point teaching will be described. First, a teaching procedure in the right variable focus lens 15R will be described. In FIG. 1, the user covers the left variable focus lens 15 </ b> L with his hand and visually recognizes the visual object OB <b> 1 at a first distance (for example, the distance L <b> 1 = 30 cm from the eyeglass frame 13 to the visual object OB <b> 1). . Next, the user touches the touch sensor 51 described above with his / her finger or releases his / her finger to drive the right stepping motor 35 </ b> R so that the object OB <b> 1 can be visually recognized most clearly. The focal length of the lens 15R is changed. Then, the teaching button 53 is pressed. At this time, the number of pulses N1 from the origin for the right stepping motor 35R is stored in the storage unit 63 (control unit 25) (see FIG. 6 for the storage unit 63). If the right stepping motor 35R is provided with a rotary encoder, the number of pulses from the origin position detected by the rotary encoder is stored in the storage unit 63 (control unit 25).

Next, the user covers the left variable focus lens 15L with his / her hand, and visually recognizes the visual recognition object OB2 at the second distance (for example, the distance L2 = 100 cm from the spectacle frame 13 to the visual recognition object OB2). Next, the user touches the touch sensor 51 with the finger or releases the finger to drive the right stepping motor 35R so that the visual object OB2 can be visually recognized most clearly. The focal length of the lens 15R is changed. Then, the teaching button 53 is pressed. At this time, the number of pulses N2 from the origin for the right stepping motor 35R is stored in the storage unit 63 (control unit 25). If the right stepping motor 35R is provided with a rotary encoder, the number of pulses from the origin position detected by the rotary encoder is stored in the storage unit 63 (control unit 25).

A teaching procedure in the left variable focus lens 15L will be described. In FIG. 1, the user covers the right variable focus lens 15 </ b> R with his / her hand and visually recognizes the above-described visual object OB <b> 1. Next, the user touches the touch sensor 57 with the finger or releases the finger to drive the left stepping motor 35L so that the visual target OB1 can be visually recognized most clearly. The focal length of the lens 15L is changed. Then, the teaching button 53 is pressed. At this time, the number of pulses N3 from the origin for the left stepping motor 35L is stored in the storage unit 63 (control unit 25). If the left stepping motor 35L is provided with a rotary encoder, the number of pulses from the origin position detected by the rotary encoder is stored in the storage unit 63 (control unit 25).

Next, the user covers the right varifocal lens 15R with his / her hand and visually recognizes the above-described visual object OB2. Next, the user touches the touch sensor 57 with the finger or releases the finger to drive the left stepping motor 35L so that the visual target OB2 can be visually recognized most clearly. The focal length of the lens 15L is changed. Then, the teaching button 53 is pressed. At this time, the pulse number N4 from the origin for the left stepping motor 35L is stored in the storage unit 63 (control unit 25). If the left stepping motor 35L is provided with a rotary encoder, the number of pulses from the origin position detected by the rotary encoder is stored in the storage unit 63 (control unit 25).

The visual recognition objects OB1 and OB2 described above constitute an example of the storage object of the present invention. Further, the touch sensor 51, the touch sensor 57, the teaching button 53, and the storage unit 63 (control unit 25) described above constitute an example of the teaching unit of the present invention. When the rotary encoder 39 is provided in the stepping motor 35, the touch sensor 51, the touch sensor 57, the teaching button 53, the storage unit 63 (the control unit 25), and the rotary encoder constitute an example of the teaching unit of the present invention. Instead of the pulse number N1, the pulse number N2, the pulse number N3, and the pulse number N4, the rotation amount Rev1 converted from the pulse number N1, the rotation amount Rev2 converted from the pulse number N2, and the rotation converted from the pulse number N3 The rotation amount Rev4 converted from the amount Rev3 and the number of pulses N4 may be stored. Moreover, you may memorize | store the moving amount | distance of the movable part (for example, piston 31) mentioned above.

The main part of the present invention will be described. First, an outline will be described. The varifocal glasses 11 in the first embodiment change according to any change amount of the change amount of the operation time of the switches (touch sensors 51, 57) or a constant change amount correlated with the operation time. The visual driving amount by which each user can clearly see the visual object can be determined for each of the right stepping motor 35R (drive unit 23R) and the left stepping motor 35L (drive unit 23L). The constant change amount correlated with the operation time is a change amount that has a constant correlation with the operation time. For example, the operation time converted into a predetermined signal (for example, a count number described later), the operation Examples include a focal length in a case where a constant correlation between time and focal length is established, and a conversion of the focal length into a predetermined signal.

Then, the user of the varifocal glasses 11 drives the right stepping motor 35R (driving unit 23R) and the left stepping motor 35L (driving unit 23L) with respect to the switches (touch sensors 51 and 57), thereby continuously. When a predetermined operation for changing the focal lengths of the variable focus lenses 15R and 15L is performed, the drive amounts of the right stepping motor 35R (drive unit 23R) and the left stepping motor 35L (drive unit 23L) change simultaneously. The control unit 25 individually controls the right stepping motor 35R (drive unit 23R) and the left stepping motor 35L (drive unit 23L) so that the visual drive amount determined for each drive unit according to the amount.

When the switch (sensor 51, touch sensor 57) is released, the right stepping motor 35R (driving unit 23R) and the left stepping motor 35L (driving unit 23L) are stopped, and the visual drive amount is maintained at that time. As described above, the control unit 25 individually controls the stepping motors 35R and 35L (drive units 23R and 23L). Although not described in detail, the varifocal glasses 11 of the present invention can be configured so that the image of the visual object at a predetermined distance is formed on the retina (focused) one by one.

(図1)   Details will be described. The driving amounts of the right stepping motor 35R (driving unit 23R) and the left stepping motor 35L (driving unit 23L) are simultaneously correlated with the amount of change in the operating time of the switches (touch sensors 51 and 57) or the operating time. The control unit 25 individually sets the right stepping motor 35R (drive unit 23R) and the left stepping motor 35L (drive unit 23L) so that the visual drive amount determined for each drive unit according to a certain amount of change. In order to control, teaching is performed in advance. The teaching may be any of two-point teaching, three-point teaching, and multi-point teaching. Here, the above-described two-point teaching is performed. As two points to be taught, a visual object OB1 at a first distance (distance L1 from the spectacle frame 13 to the visual object OB1 = 30 cm), a second distance (a distance from the variable focus glasses 11 to the visual object OB2). A visually recognized object OB2 at L2 = 100 cm) is assumed. (Figure 1)

When the teaching is performed, when the object OB1 at the first distance is clearly seen, the pulse number N1 of the right stepping motor 35R and the pulse number N3 of the left stepping motor 35L are visually recognized at the second distance. The number of pulses N2 of the right stepping motor 35R and the number of pulses N4 of the left stepping motor 35L when the object OB2 is clearly visible are stored in the storage unit 63. After performing the two-point teaching, the mode switching button 55 is pressed to enter the arbitrary mode.

In the arbitrary mode, when the touch sensor 51 is touched, the focal lengths of the variable focus lenses 15R and 15L become longer continuously at the same time on the left and right, and when the touch sensor 57 is touched, the focal points of the variable focus lenses 15R and 15L. The control unit 25 controls the drive amount of the right stepping motor 35R and the drive amount of the left stepping motor 35L so that the distance becomes shorter continuously at the same time on the left and right.

When the user touches the touch sensor 51, a predetermined signal is input to the control unit 25. The control unit 25 counts the input time of the signal input to the control unit 25 (that is, the operation time for driving the drive units 23R and 23L by operating the touch sensor 51) by the number of pulses. When the user releases his / her hand from the touch sensor 51, a predetermined signal is not input to the control unit 25. Further, when the touch sensor 57 is touched, a predetermined signal is input to the control unit 25. The control unit 25 counts the input time of the signal input to the control unit 25 (that is, the operation time for operating the touch sensor 57 to drive the drive units 23R and 23L) by the number of pulses. When the user releases his / her hand from the touch sensor 57, a predetermined signal is not input to the control unit 25. In the following description, the counted number of pulses is referred to as a count number.

By the way, the respective drive amounts of the right stepping motor 35R (drive unit 23R) and the left stepping motor 35L (drive unit 23L) are simultaneously changed to the change amount of the operation time of the switches (touch sensors 51 and 57) or the operation time. The control unit 25 switches the right stepping motor 35R (drive unit 23R) and the left stepping motor 35L (drive unit 23L) so that the visual drive amount determined for each drive unit according to the constant change amount correlated. To control individually, a certain function is used after teaching. This function is derived from the taught driving amount, and when the driving units 23R and 23L are driven, it is possible to clearly visually recognize the visual object for each user at the same time on the left and right (or an image of the visual object). This is a function for setting the visual drive amount of the drive units 23R and 23L so that the left and right retinas of the user are simultaneously imaged or focused on the left and right retinas of the user at the same time. The visual drive amount of the right stepping motor 35R and the left stepping motor 35L is determined (set).

The function will be described with reference to FIG. After the two-point teaching, a constant function corresponding to the user's visual acuity is derived by the program stored in the control unit 25. In the first embodiment, as an example, a method using a calculation formula will be described. After the two-point teaching, (Expression 1) and (Expression 2) are derived from the program stored in the control unit 25. (Expression 1) is a function that passes through (x1, y1) = (count number n1, pulse number N1) and (x2, y2) = (count number n2, pulse number N2). (Expression 2) is a function that passes (x1, y1) = (count number n1, pulse number N3), (x2, y2) = (count number n2, pulse number N4).

(式1) y=fR(x)=((N2−N1)/(n2−n1))・x+N1
(式2) y=fL(x)=((N4−N3)/(n2−n1))・x+N3
(Formula 1) y = fR (x) = ((N2-N1) / (n2-n1)). X + N1
(Formula 2) y = fL (x) = ((N4-N3) / (n2-n1)). X + N3

(N2-N1) / (n2-n1) in (Expression 1) is a pulse number variation amount per unit count number for the right stepping motor 35R. (N4−N3) / (n2−n1) in (Expression 2) is a pulse number variation amount per unit count for the left stepping motor 35L. However,
N1: Number of pulses (pulses) of the right stepping motor 35R when the user can clearly see the object OB1 at the first distance.
N2: Number of pulses (pulses) of the right stepping motor 35R when the user can clearly see the object OB2 at the second distance.
N3: The number of pulses (pulses) of the left stepping motor 35L when the user can clearly see the object OB1 at the first distance.
N4: Number of pulses (pulses) of the left stepping motor 35L when the user can clearly see the visual object OB2 at the second distance
n1: Count number (pulse) when the visual object OB1 at the first distance can be clearly seen
n2: Count number (pulse) when the visual object OB2 at the second distance can be clearly seen
x: Count number increment (pulse) based on the focal length when the visual object OB1 at the first distance is clearly visible

(図1、図7参照)   A case where the touch sensor 51 is pressed will be described. As a state before touching the touch sensor 51, for example, the number of pulses of the right stepping motor 35R is N5, the number of pulses of the left stepping motor 35L is N6, and the object OB3 to be visually recognized is clearly visible. And It is assumed that the count before touching the touch sensor 51 is n3. In this case, the count number increment x in (Expression 1) and (Expression 2) is represented by x = n3−n1. (See Figs. 1 and 7)

Here, when the touch sensor 51 is touched in order to visually recognize the farther visible object, the pulse signal is counted as much as the touch sensor 51 is pressed. When the counted number of pulses is x1, the count number na when the touch sensor 51 is pressed is na = n3 + x1, and the count number increment x in (Expression 1) and (Expression 2) is x = n3 + x1-n1. It becomes. Accordingly, when N1, N2, n1, n2, and x = n3 + x1-n1 are substituted into (Expression 1), the visual driving amount NRna for the right stepping motor 35R (drive unit 23R) is determined (set), and (Expression 2) ), N3, N4, n1, n2, and x = n3 + x1-n1 are substituted to determine (set) the visual drive amount NLna for the left stepping motor 35L (drive unit 23L). Then, when the control unit 25 sets the driving amount for the right stepping motor 35R (driving unit 23R) as the visual driving amount NRna and the driving amount for the left stepping motor 35L (driving unit 23L) as the visual driving amount NLna, it corresponds to the driving amount. Thus, the user can clearly visually recognize the viewing object at the viewing distance simultaneously on the left and right.

A case where the touch sensor 57 is pressed will be described. As a state before touching the touch sensor 57, for example, the number of pulses of the right stepping motor 35R is N5, the number of pulses of the left stepping motor 35L is N6, and the object OB3 to be visually recognized is clearly visible. And It is assumed that the count before touching the touch sensor 57 is n3. In this case, the count number increment x in (Expression 1) and (Expression 2) is represented by x = n3−n1.

Here, when the touch sensor 57 is touched in order to visually recognize a closer visual target object, the pulse signal is counted as much as the touch sensor 57 is pressed. Assuming that the counted number of pulses is x2, the count number na when the touch sensor 57 is pressed is na = n3-x2, and the count number increment x in (Expression 1) and (Expression 2) is x = n3 -X2-n1. Therefore, when N1, N2, n1, n2, and x = n3-x2-n1 are substituted into (Equation 1), the visual driving amount NRnb for the right stepping motor 35R (driving unit 23R) is determined (set), ( Substituting N3, N4, n1, n2, and x = n3-x2-n1 into Equation 2) determines (sets) the visual drive amount NLnb for the left stepping motor 35L (drive unit 23L). Then, when the control unit 25 sets the driving amount for the right stepping motor 35R (driving unit 23R) as the visual driving amount NRnb and the driving amount for the left stepping motor 35L (driving unit 23L) as the visual driving amount NLnb, it corresponds to the driving amount. Thus, the user can clearly visually recognize the viewing object at the viewing distance simultaneously on the left and right.

As described above, when the touch sensors 51 and 57 are touched, the count number continuously changes according to the time of touching the touch sensors 51 and 57. The visual driving amount for the right stepping motor 35R (driving unit 23R) and the visual driving amount for the left stepping motor 35L (driving unit 23L) corresponding to the count number also change continuously. This visual driving amount is the driving amount of the drive unit when the visual object at the visual recognition distance can be clearly seen. If the visual object is moved along the changed visual recognition distance, The image of the object is focused on the user's left and right retinas at the same time, or the user's left and right retinas are in focus at the same time, and the user can move along a changing viewing distance. The object can be visually recognized continuously and clearly. Note that the timing for substituting the count number into x in (Expression 1) and (Expression 2) does not have to be every pulse, and may be every fixed number of pulses.

The functions are not limited to the functions described above, and the visual drive amounts NRna and NRnb for the right stepping motor 35R (drive unit 23R), the visual drive amount NLna for the left stepping motor 35L (drive unit 23L), Any function that can determine NLnb may be used. Therefore, the function does not have to be a method based on a calculation formula as described above, and does not necessarily have to have a certain law property. In the development stage, data may be collected from a large number of subjects for each model of variable focus glasses, and a function may be derived based on the data.

Moreover, in the example mentioned above, although the visual recognition driving amount was calculated | required from the count number, you may use another control amount. For example, when a certain law holds (correlates) between the count number and the operation time, the visual driving amount may be obtained from the operation time. Further, when a certain rule is established (correlated) between the operation time or the count number and the focal length, the visual driving amount may be obtained from the focal length.

According to the above configuration, the variable focus glasses 11 are stored in advance, the driving amount N1 of the drive unit 23R when the user of the variable focus glasses 11 can clearly see the visual object OB1 at the distance L1, From the driving amount N3 of the driving unit 23L and the driving amount N2 of the driving unit 23R and the driving amount N4 of the driving unit 23L when the visual object OB2 at the distance L2 can be clearly viewed, the user can visually recognize the visual distance na. The driving unit 23R when the visual recognition target amount NRna of the driving unit 23R, the visual driving amount NLna of the driving unit 23L, and the visual recognition object at the visual recognition distance nb can be clearly viewed when the target object can be clearly viewed. The visual driving amount NRnb and the visual driving amount NLnb of the driving unit 23L can be set for each user. The above-described visual driving amounts NRna, NLna, NRnb, and NLnb are visual driving amounts when the user can clearly see a visual object at a visual distance, and the visual distances na and nb described above are This is the viewing distance when the visually recognized object can be clearly seen. The user is a user with the same left or right eyesight or a user with different left and right eyesight.

Then, a user who has the same left / right visual acuity or a user who has different left / right visual acuity continuously changes the focal length of the variable focus lenses 15R, 15L with respect to the switches (touch sensor 51, touch sensor 57). When the above operations are performed, the focal lengths of the variable focus lenses 15R and 15L change continuously. At this time, the visual recognition distance na or nb is changed each time. Therefore, assuming that the viewing object moves along the viewing distance to be changed, the image of the viewing object is always focused on the retina of the user at the same time. . In other words, the focus of the variable focus lenses 15R and 15L is continuously maintained while maintaining the state in which the image of the viewing object at the viewing distance to be changed is focused (focused) on the retina of the user at the same time. The distance can be changed.

For this reason, in a state where the user visually recognizes a visual target at a predetermined distance, a predetermined focal length of the variable focus lenses 15R and 15L is continuously changed with respect to the switches (touch sensor 51 and touch sensor 57). When the operation is performed, when the above-described viewing distance na or nb matches (or reaches) the distance to the viewing object, the viewing object is clearly visually recognized simultaneously on the left and right (using an image of the viewing object) Image on the left and right retinas of the user at the same time, and focus on the left and right retinas of the user at the same time. At this point, when the operation is stopped, the state in which the image of the viewing object at the viewing distance is formed on the retina of the user at the same time (in focus) is maintained.

Further, for each individual user, a predetermined function for setting the visual driving amount is derived from each driving amount of the driving unit stored in advance and when the predetermined storage object can be clearly visually recognized. Since the visual recognition driving amount is set based on the visual recognition driving amount, even if the left and right eyesights are different, it is possible to individually set the visual driving amount that allows the visual recognition object to be clearly recognized.

Moreover, the state which can visually recognize a visual recognition object clearly can be maintained where the user can visually recognize the visual recognition object to view visually.

Note that the variable focus glasses of the present invention use a liquid feed type variable focus lens that changes the focal length by taking in and out the transparent liquid 21 sealed in the space 15e of the variable focus lens 15. Like eyeglasses, the light transmittance in the lens does not decrease. Therefore, the variable focus glasses of the present invention do not reduce the brightness, increase the pupil diameter of the user, reduce the depth of focus, make it difficult to focus, and do not burden the user. Further, since the aperture can be made large, the field of view is not limited.

これにより、パルス数N1(あるいは回転量Rev1)、パルス数N2(あるいは回転量Rev2)、パルス数N3(あるいは回転量Rev3)が、記憶部63(制御部25)に記憶される。
(Reference: 3 point teaching)
The three-point teaching is performed by the user according to the same procedure as the two-point teaching described above. In the right variable focus lens 15R, the pulse number N1 (or rotation amount Rev1) of the right stepping motor 35R when the visual object OB1 is most clearly visible, and the right side when the visual object OB2 is most clearly visible. The user teaches the pulse number N2 (or rotation amount Rev2) of the stepping motor 35R and the pulse number N3 (or rotation amount Rev3) of the right stepping motor 35R when the visual object OB3 is most clearly visible. Thereby, the pulse number N1 (or rotation amount Rev1), the pulse number N2 (or rotation amount Rev2), and the pulse number N3 (or rotation amount Rev3) are stored in the storage unit 63 (control unit 25).

これにより、パルス数N4(あるいは回転量Rev4)、パルス数N5(あるいは回転量Rev5)、パルス数N6(あるいは回転量Rev6)が、記憶部63(制御部25)に記憶される。 Further, in the left variable focus lens 15L, the pulse number N4 (or rotation amount Rev4) of the left stepping motor 35L when the visual object OB1 is most clearly visible, and the visual object OB2 can be visually recognized most clearly. The user teaches the pulse number N5 (or rotation amount Rev5) of the left stepping motor 35L, and the pulse number N6 (or rotation amount Rev6) of the left stepping motor 35L when the visual object OB3 is most clearly visible. . Thus, the pulse number N4 (or rotation amount Rev4), the pulse number N5 (or rotation amount Rev5), and the pulse number N6 (or rotation amount Rev6) are stored in the storage unit 63 (control unit 25). If the stepping motor 35 is provided with a rotary encoder, the rotary encoder detects the number of pulses from the origin position.

(Second Embodiment)
The second embodiment relates to voltage application type variable focus glasses among the variable focus glasses. 8 is a plan view of the variable focus glasses 11, FIG. 9 is an external view seen from the direction A in FIG. 8, FIG. 10 is a side view seen from the direction B in FIG. 8, and FIG. FIG. 12 is a side view seen from the direction, and FIG. As shown in FIG. 8, the varifocal glasses 11 constitute a front portion of the spectacle frame 13, and include a front 17 that holds a pair of left and right varifocal lenses 15, and a temple 19 that continues to the front 17. In the second embodiment, the temple 19 and the front 17 are connected to each other using a predetermined connecting member in the same manner as general foldable glasses, but the temple 19 and the front can be bent. 17 may be integrally formed.

In the following description, a pair of left and right varifocal lenses 15 and temples 19 are used separately as necessary as necessary. That is, of the pair of left and right variable focus lenses 15, with the user wearing variable focus glasses 11, the right variable focus lens is referred to as a variable focus lens 15R, and the left variable focus lens is referred to as a variable focus lens 15L. Shall. Further, the right temple is referred to as a temple 19R and the left temple is referred to as a temple 19L with the user wearing the variable focus glasses 11. The drive unit 23 provided on the right temple 19R is referred to as a drive unit 23R, and the drive unit 23 provided on the left temple 19L is referred to as a drive unit 23L. The concept of a constant change amount correlated with the viewing distance, the viewing drive amount, the operation time, and the operation time is as described in the first embodiment. Moreover, the user does not necessarily need to have the same left and right eyesight, and the left and right eyesight may be different.

The varifocal lens 15 described above has, for example, a configuration as disclosed in the re-published patent WO2009 / 081542, and when a voltage is applied to the liquid crystal element provided in the varifocal lens 15, the direction of the liquid crystal molecules depends on the voltage. This is a well-known variable focus lens that changes the refractive index and changes the focal length by utilizing the change of the lens.

The right temple 19R is provided with a drive unit 23R that applies a predetermined applied voltage to the liquid crystal element of the right variable focus lens 15R, and a power supply unit 27 that supplies electric power to the control unit 25. The left temple 19L is provided with a drive unit 23L that applies a predetermined applied voltage to the liquid crystal element of the left variable focus lens 15L, and a control unit 25 that controls the drive units 23R and 23L. The electric power supplied from the power supply unit 27 is transmitted to the control unit 25 and the drive unit 23 via the wiring 29. The wiring 29 described above may be a wiring pattern formed on a film by etching, copper foil pasting, or the like. By forming the wiring pattern on the film, the spectacle frame 13 can be reduced in size.

Next, the drive unit 23 will be described. As shown in FIG. 12, the drive unit 23 includes a drive control circuit 73, drivers 75 and 77, and a variable resistance circuit 79, and a voltage application unit that applies a predetermined application voltage to the liquid crystal element of the variable focus lens 15. It functions as a driving means for driving the liquid crystal element of the variable focus lens 15. The drive control circuit 73 generates a drive signal for driving the liquid crystal element of the variable focus lens 15. The drivers 75 and 77 control the drive signal generated by the drive control circuit 73 and apply a predetermined applied voltage to the liquid crystal element of the variable focus lens 15. The applied voltage (applied voltage amount) applied to the liquid crystal element of the varifocal lens 15 is the drive amount of the drive unit 23 and constitutes an example of the drive amount of the present invention. Of the drive amounts, in particular, the drive amount when the user can clearly see the object to be viewed is appropriately referred to as a visual drive amount.

A variable resistance circuit 79 that varies the applied voltage is provided on the downstream side of the drivers 75 and 77, and the applied voltage applied to the liquid crystal element of the variable focus lens 15 can be continuously changed. When the voltage applied to the liquid crystal element is gradually increased by controlling the variable resistance circuit 79, the elliptical long axis of the liquid crystal molecules is gradually aligned in parallel with the optical axis of the variable focus lens, and the focal length is increased. Continuously longer (lower refractive index). Further, when the variable resistance circuit 79 is controlled and the applied voltage applied to the liquid crystal element is gradually lowered, the elliptical long axis of the liquid crystal molecules gradually returns to the original state, and the focal length is continuously shortened (refractive index is reduced). Higher).

Next, the control unit 25 will be described. The control unit 25 stores a control program for controlling the right drive unit 23R and the left drive unit 23L. This control program is visually recognized by an individual user who changes according to any change amount of the change amount of the operation time of the switches (touch sensors 51 and 57) or a constant change amount correlated with the operation time. When the object can be clearly seen, the applied voltage (viewing drive amount) to the liquid crystal element of the right variable focus lens 15R and the applied voltage (viewing drive amount) to the liquid crystal element of the left variable focus lens 15L are driven by the drive unit 23R. , Has a function of determining for each drive unit 23L.

The control unit 25 will be described in more detail. As shown in FIG. 12, the control unit 25 includes a CPU 61, a storage unit 63, and a predetermined interface 65.

Further, the ROM 69 determines an applied voltage to be applied to the liquid crystal element of the variable focus lens 15, determines a control program for controlling the drive unit 23, and a signal input by an operation of a switch described later, and executes various controls. An execution program, initial data, and the like are stored.

In addition, the storage unit 63 described above applies an applied voltage applied to the liquid crystal elements of the variable focus lenses 15R and 15L when the user visually recognizes the visual recognition object individually and can visually recognize the visual recognition object. It has a function to memorize. The above-described applied voltage is taught by the user by the teaching means described later. When the user teaches, the applied voltage is stored in the storage unit 63 (the control unit 25 or the variable focus glasses 11).

In addition to the storage unit 63 described above, a portion (for example, the storage unit 71 in FIG. 12) that stores the applied voltage of the drive unit 23 may be provided.

Next, the operation unit 47 will be described. An operation unit 47 is provided on the right temple 19 and the left temple 19L. As shown in FIG. 11, the right temple 19 of the operation unit 47 is provided with a power switch 49 for turning on / off the power, a touch sensor 51, and a teaching button 53. Further, as shown in FIG. 10, the left temple 19 </ b> L of the operation unit 47 is provided with a mode switching button 55, a touch sensor 57, and a registration button 59.

In the automatic control mode, the voltage applied to the liquid crystal element of the right varifocal lens 15R and the liquid crystal element of the left varifocal lens 15L is controlled to be variable so that the user can clearly see the object to be viewed. In this mode, the focal lengths of the focus lenses 15R and 15L are automatically changed. The viewpoint switching mode is a mode in which the focal length is individually switched for a plurality of viewing objects at different distances, and the liquid crystal of the right variable focus lens 15R is provided so that the user can clearly see the viewing object. In this mode, the applied voltage applied to the liquid crystal element of the left variable focus lens 15L is controlled to change the focal length of the right variable focus lens 15R and the left variable focus lens 15L.

The control unit 25 controls the right drive unit 23R so that the applied voltage (drive amount) applied to the liquid crystal element of the right variable focus lens 15R is alternately increased and decreased every time a signal is input. To do. While the touch sensor 51 is touched, the increase or decrease of the applied voltage is maintained, and when the finger is released, it stops.

Similarly, when the user touches the touch sensor 57 with a finger during the teaching mode, a predetermined signal is input to the control unit 25. Then, when the user releases his / her finger from the touch sensor 57, the signal input is stopped. The control unit 25 controls the left drive unit 23L so that the applied voltage (drive amount) applied to the liquid crystal element of the left variable focus lens 15L is alternately increased and decreased every time a signal is input. To do. While the touch sensor 57 is touched, the increase or decrease of the applied voltage is maintained, and when the finger is released, it stops.

Teaching includes two-point teaching that teaches two points of perspective, three-point teaching that teaches three points, multi-point teaching that teaches multiple points, and the like.

The two-point teaching will be described. First, a teaching procedure in the right variable focus lens 15R will be described. In FIG. 8, the user covers the left variable focus lens 15L with his hand, and visually recognizes the visual object OB1 at the first distance (for example, the distance L1 = 30 cm from the eyeglass frame 13 to the visual object OB1). . Next, the user touches the touch sensor 51 described above with his / her finger or releases his / her finger to drive the right drive unit 23 </ b> R so that the object OB <b> 1 can be visually recognized most clearly. The focal length of the lens 15R is changed. Then, the teaching button 53 is pressed. At this time, the applied voltage (drive amount) V1 applied to the liquid crystal element of the right variable focus lens 15R is stored in the storage unit 63 (control unit 25).

Next, the user covers the left variable focus lens 15L with his / her hand, and visually recognizes the visual recognition object OB2 at the second distance (for example, the distance L2 = 100 cm from the spectacle frame 13 to the visual recognition object OB2). Next, the user can touch the touch sensor 51 described above with his / her finger or release his / her finger to drive the right drive unit 23 </ b> R so that the object OB <b> 2 can be visually recognized most clearly. The focal length of the lens 15R is changed. Then, the teaching button 53 is pressed. At this time, the applied voltage (drive amount) V2 applied to the liquid crystal element of the right variable focus lens 15R is stored in the storage unit 63 (control unit 25).

A teaching procedure in the left variable focus lens 15L will be described. In FIG. 8, the user covers the right variable focus lens 15 </ b> R with his hand and visually recognizes the above-described visual object OB <b> 1. Next, the user touches or touches the touch sensor 57 described above with his / her finger to drive the left drive unit 23L so that the visual object OB1 can be visually recognized most clearly. The focal length of the lens 15L is changed. Then, the teaching button 53 is pressed. At this time, the applied voltage (drive amount) V3 applied to the liquid crystal element of the left variable focus lens 15L is stored in the storage unit 63 (control unit 25).

Next, the user covers the right varifocal lens 15R with his / her hand and visually recognizes the above-described visual object OB2. Next, the user touches the touch sensor 57 with the finger or releases the finger to drive the left drive unit 23L, so that the visual object OB2 can be visually recognized most clearly. The focal length of the lens 15L is changed. Then, the teaching button 53 is pressed. At this time, the applied voltage (driving amount) V4 applied to the liquid crystal element of the left variable focus lens 15L is stored in the storage unit 63 (control unit 25).

The visual recognition objects OB1 and OB2 described above constitute an example of the storage object of the present invention. The touch sensor 51, the touch sensor 57, the teaching button 53, and the storage unit 63 (control unit 25) described above constitute an example of a teaching unit.

The main part of the present invention will be described. First, an outline will be described. The varifocal glasses 11 according to the second embodiment change according to any change amount of the change amount of the operation time of the switches (touch sensors 51 and 57) or the constant change amount correlated with the operation time. The visual driving amount by which each user can visually recognize the visual target object can be determined for each of the driving unit 23R and the driving unit 23L.

Then, the user of the varifocal spectacles 11 performs a predetermined operation for continuously changing the focal lengths of the varifocal lenses 15R and 15L by driving the driving units 23R and 23L with respect to the switches (touch sensors 51 and 57). In this case, the control unit 25 individually controls the drive units 23R and 23L so that the drive amounts of the drive units 23R and 23L are simultaneously the visual drive amount determined for each drive unit according to the change amount. To do.

When the switch (sensor 51, touch sensor 57) is released, the control unit 25 individually controls the drive units 23R and 23L so as to maintain the visual drive amount at that time. Although not described in detail, the varifocal glasses 11 of the present invention can be configured so that the image of the visual object at a predetermined distance is formed on the retina (focused) one by one.
Details will be described. Visual driving determined for each driving unit according to the amount of change in the operation time of the switches (touch sensors 51 and 57) or the constant amount of change correlated with the operation time. In order for the control unit 25 to individually control the right drive unit 23R and the left drive unit 23L so as to be the quantity, teaching is performed in advance. (Fig. 8)

When the teaching is performed, the voltage V1 applied to the liquid crystal element of the right variable focus lens 15R and the voltage V3 applied to the liquid crystal element of the left variable focus lens 15R when the visual object OB1 at the first distance can be clearly seen. The voltage V2 applied to the liquid crystal element of the right variable focus lens 15R and the voltage V4 applied to the liquid crystal element of the left variable focus lens 15R when the visual object OB2 at the second distance is clearly visible are stored in the storage unit. 63.

The control unit 25 controls the applied voltage to the liquid crystal element of the right variable focus lens 15R and the applied voltage to the liquid crystal element of the left variable focus lens 15L so that the distance is continuously shortened simultaneously on the left and right.

By the way, the drive amounts of the right drive unit 23R and the left drive unit 23L are simultaneously driven according to the change amount of the operation time of the switches (touch sensors 51, 57) or a constant change amount correlated with the operation time. In order for the control unit 25 to individually control the drive unit 23R and the left drive unit 23L so as to have the visual driving amount determined for each unit, a certain function is used after teaching. The visual drive amount of the right drive unit 23R and the left drive unit 23L is determined (set).

The function will be described with reference to FIG. In the first embodiment, as an example, a method using a calculation formula will be described. After the two-point teaching, (Expression 3) and (Expression 4) are derived by the program stored in the control unit 25. (Expression 3) is a function that passes through (x1, y1) = (count number n1, applied voltage V1) and (x2, y2) = (count number n2, applied voltage V2). (Expression 4) is a function that passes through (x1, y1) = (count number n1, applied voltage V3), (x2, y2) = (count number n2, applied voltage V4).

(V2−V1) / (n2−n1) in (Expression 3) is a change amount of applied voltage per unit count for the liquid crystal element of the right variable focus lens 15R. (V4−V3) / (n2−n1) in (Expression 4) is a change amount of applied voltage per unit count for the liquid crystal element of the left variable focus lens 15L. However,

(図8、図13参照)   A case where the touch sensor 51 is pressed will be described. As a state before touching the touch sensor 51, for example, the applied voltage to the liquid crystal element of the right variable focus lens 15R is V5, the applied voltage to the liquid crystal element of the left variable focus lens 15R is V6, and the visual object OB3 is It shall be in a state where it is clearly visible. It is assumed that the count number before touching the touch sensor 51 is n3. In this case, the count number increment x in (Expression 3) and (Expression 4) is expressed by x = n3−n1. (See FIGS. 8 and 13)

Here, when the touch sensor 51 is touched in order to visually recognize the farther visible object, the pulse signal is counted as much as the touch sensor 51 is pressed. When the counted number of pulses is x1, the count number na when the touch sensor 51 is pressed is na = n3 + x1, and the count number increment x in (Expression 3) and (Expression 4) is x = n3 + x1-n1. It becomes. Therefore, by substituting V1, V2, n1, n2, and x = n3 + x1-n1 into (Equation 3), the applied voltage (viewing driving amount) VRna to the liquid crystal element of the right variable focus lens 15R is determined (set), Substituting V3, V4, n1, n2, and x = n3 + x1-n1 into (Equation 4) determines (sets) the applied voltage (visual driving amount) VLna to the liquid crystal element of the left variable focus lens 15L. Then, the control unit 25 applies the applied voltage to the liquid crystal element of the right variable focus lens 15R to the applied voltage (visual drive amount) VRna, and applies the applied voltage to the liquid crystal element of the left variable focus lens 15L to the applied voltage (visual drive amount) VLna. Then, according to the driving amount, the user can clearly visually recognize the visual object at the visual recognition distance simultaneously on the left and right.

A case where the touch sensor 57 is pressed will be described. As a state before touching the touch sensor 57, for example, the applied voltage to the liquid crystal element of the right variable focus lens 15R is V5, the applied voltage to the liquid crystal element of the left variable focus lens 15R is V6, and the visual object OB3 is It shall be in a state where it is clearly visible. It is assumed that the count before touching the touch sensor 57 is n3. In this case, the count number increment x in (Expression 3) and (Expression 4) is expressed by x = n3−n1.

Here, when the touch sensor 57 is touched in order to visually recognize a closer visual target object, the pulse signal is counted as much as the touch sensor 57 is pressed. Assuming that the counted number of pulses is x2, the count number na when the touch sensor 57 is pressed is na = n3-x2, and the count number increment x in (Expression 3) and (Expression 4) is x = n3 -X2-n1. Therefore, when V1, V2, n1, n2, and x = n3-x2-n1 are substituted into (Equation 3), the applied voltage (viewing driving amount) VRnb to the liquid crystal element of the right variable focus lens 15R is determined (set). Substituting V3, V4, n1, n2, and x = n3-x2-n1 into (Equation 4) determines (sets) the applied voltage (viewing drive amount) VLnb to the liquid crystal element of the left variable focus lens 15L. Is done. When the control unit 25 sets the applied voltage to the liquid crystal element of the right variable focus lens 15R as the visual drive amount VRnb and the applied voltage to the liquid crystal element of the left variable focus lens 15L as the applied voltage (visual drive amount) VLnb, the applied voltage In accordance with the (viewing drive amount), the user can clearly visually recognize the viewing object at the viewing distance simultaneously on the left and right.

As described above, when the touch sensors 51 and 57 are touched, the count number continuously changes according to the time of touching the touch sensors 51 and 57. The applied voltage (viewing drive amount) for the liquid crystal element of the right variable focus lens 15R and the applied voltage (viewing drive amount) for the liquid crystal element of the left variable focus lens 15L corresponding to the count number also change continuously. This applied voltage (viewing driving amount) is the driving amount of the drive unit when the viewing object at the viewing distance can be clearly seen, and the viewing object is moved along the changed viewing distance. Then, the image of the object to be viewed is focused on the left and right retinas of the user at the same time, or is focused on the left and right retinas of the user at the same time, and the user follows the changing viewing distance. The moving object can be visually recognized continuously and clearly. The timing for substituting the count number into x in (Equation 3) and (Equation 4) need not be every pulse, but may be every fixed number of pulses.

The function is not limited to the above-described function, and applied voltages (viewing drive amount) VRna and VRnb to the liquid crystal element of the right variable focus lens 15R, applied voltages to the liquid crystal element of the left variable focus lens 15R ( (Viewing drive amount) Any function that can determine VLna and VLnb may be used.

According to the above configuration, the variable focus glasses 11 are stored in advance, the driving amount V1 of the drive unit 23R when the user of the variable focus glasses 11 can clearly see the visual object OB1 at the distance L1, Based on the driving amount V3 of the driving unit 23L and the driving amount V2 of the driving unit 23R and the driving amount V4 of the driving unit 23L when the visual object OB2 at the distance L2 can be clearly viewed, the user can visually recognize at the viewing distance na. The drive unit 23R when the visual recognition target amount VRna of the drive unit 23R, the visual drive amount VLna of the drive unit 23L, and the visual target object at the visual distance nb can be clearly seen when the object can be clearly seen. The visual driving amount VRnb and the visual driving amount VLnb of the driving unit 23L can be set for each user. The above-described visual driving amounts VRna, VLna, VRnb, and VLnb are driving amounts when the user can clearly see the visual object at the visual recognition distance, and the visual recognition distances na and nb described above are visually recognized by the user. This is the distance when the object can be clearly seen.

Therefore, assuming that the viewing object moves along the viewing distance to be changed, the image of the viewing object is always focused on the retina of the user at the same time. . In other words, while maintaining the state in which the image of the viewing object moving along the changed viewing distance is focused on the left and right at the same time on the user's retina, the variable focus lens 15R, The focal length of 15L can be changed.

As a result, when a user with different left and right eyesight, or a user with the same left and right eyesight, continuously changes the focal length of the variable focus lens and tries to visually recognize the object to be viewed, , To make it possible to clearly see the object to be viewed at the same time on the left and right (to form an image of the object on the left and right retinas of the user at the same time, and to focus on the retinas of the user at the same time ) Can be provided.

In addition, since the variable focus glasses of the present invention use liquid crystal variable focus glasses, there is an advantage that the liquid focus can be made relatively small without causing liquid leakage unlike the liquid variable focus glasses.

(Reference: 3 point teaching)
The three-point teaching is performed by the user according to the same procedure as the two-point teaching described above. In the right variable focus lens 15R, when the visual object OB1 is most clearly visible, the voltage V1 applied to the liquid crystal element of the right variable focus lens 15R and the right object OB2 when the visual object OB2 is most clearly visible. The user teaches the voltage V2 applied to the liquid crystal element of the variable focus lens 15R and the voltage V3 applied to the liquid crystal element of the right variable focus lens 15R when the visual object OB3 is most clearly visible. As a result, the applied voltage V1, the applied voltage V2, and the applied voltage V3 are stored in the storage unit 63 (control unit 25).

Further, in the left variable focus lens 15L, the voltage V4 applied to the liquid crystal element of the left variable focus lens 15L and the visual object OB2 are most clearly visible when the visual object OB1 is most clearly visible. The user teaches the voltage V5 applied to the liquid crystal element of the left variable focus lens 15L, and the voltage V6 applied to the liquid crystal element of the left variable focus lens 15L when the visual object OB3 is most clearly visible. As a result, the applied voltage V4, the applied voltage V5, and the applied voltage V6 are stored in the storage unit 63 (control unit 25).

(Third embodiment)
In the first embodiment, two or more points are taught, but one point may be taught. In the description, it is assumed that the operation unit 47 described in the first embodiment is provided with a pattern selection button for selecting a function to be described later in addition to the touch sensor and various buttons. In addition, the same number is attached | subjected about the part similar to 1st Embodiment, and detailed description is abbreviate | omitted.

The one-point teaching will be described with reference to FIG. First, the left variable focus lens 15L is covered with a hand, and, for example, the focal length of the right variable focus lens 15R is adjusted to the visual object OB3 at the distance L3. Touching the touch sensor 51 described above with a finger or releasing the finger, the viewing object OB3 is set to a position where it can be seen most clearly. Then, the teaching button 53 is pressed. At this time, the control unit 25 is taught (stored) the pulse number N11. When the stepping motor 35 is provided with the rotary encoder 35b, the number of pulses from the origin position detected by the rotary encoder 35b is taught (stored) to the control unit 25.

Next, the right variable focus lens 15R is covered with a hand, and the focal length of the left variable focus lens 15L is adjusted to the visual object OB3 at the distance L3. Touching the touch sensor 57 described above with a finger or releasing the finger, the viewing object OB3 is set to a position where it can be seen most clearly. Then, the teaching button 53 is pressed. At this time, the controller 25 teaches (stores) the pulse number N12. When the stepping motor 35 is provided with the rotary encoder 35b, the number of pulses from the origin position detected by the rotary encoder 35b is taught (stored) to the control unit 25.

A case where the variable focus glasses 11 are used in an arbitrary mode after one point teaching will be described. When using in the arbitrary mode, the mode switching button 55 is pressed to enter the arbitrary mode. Note that the pulse number N11 of the right stepping motor 35R when the visual object OB3 is most clearly visible and the pulse number N12 of the left stepping motor 35L when the visual object OB3 is most clearly visible are taught in advance. It is assumed that

This will be described with reference to FIG. After one-point teaching, according to a program stored in the control unit 25, a plurality of functions, for example, a function y = fR1 (x) having different pulse number change amounts per unit count number on the right variable focus lens 15R side, Functions such as a function y = fR2 (x) and a function y = fR3 (x) are derived. Similarly, on the left varifocal lens 15L side, functions such as a function y = fL1 (x), a function y = fL2 (x), a function y = fL3 (x), and the like having different pulse number change amounts per unit count number are provided. Derived. A function that the user feels most clearly is selected from the plurality of functions for each of the right variable focus lens 15R and the left variable focus lens 15L. When selecting a function, a pattern selection button is pressed to select a function when the user looks most clearly.

(Fourth embodiment)
In the second embodiment, two or more points are taught, but one point may be taught. In the description, it is assumed that the operation unit 47 described in the first embodiment is provided with a pattern selection button for selecting a function to be described later in addition to the touch sensor and various buttons. In addition, the same number is attached | subjected about the part similar to 2nd Embodiment, and detailed description is abbreviate | omitted.

At this time, the control unit 25 is taught (stored) the voltage V11 applied to the right variable focus lens 15R.

At this time, the control unit 25 teaches (stores) the applied voltage V12 for the left variable focus lens 15L.

A case where the variable focus glasses 11 are used in an arbitrary mode after one point teaching will be described. When using in the arbitrary mode, the mode switching button 55 is pressed to enter the arbitrary mode. Note that the applied voltage V11 for the liquid crystal element of the right varifocal lens 15R and the applied voltage V12 for the liquid crystal element of the left varifocal lens 15L when the object OB3 is viewed most clearly are taught in advance. This will be described with reference to FIG. After one-point teaching, according to a program stored in the control unit 25, a plurality of functions, for example, a function y = fR1 (x) having different applied voltage change amounts per unit count on the right variable focus lens 15R side, Functions such as a function y = fR2 (x) and a function y = fR3 (x) are derived. Similarly, functions such as a function y = fL1 (x), a function y = fL2 (x), and a function y = fL32 (x) having different applied voltage change amounts per unit count are provided on the left variable focus lens 15L side. Derived. A function that the user feels most clearly is selected from the plurality of functions for each of the right variable focus lens 15R and the left variable focus lens 15L. When selecting a function, a pattern selection button is pressed to select a function when the user looks most clearly.

According to the above configuration, only one point of prior teaching is required, and teaching effort can be simplified.

(Fifth embodiment)
In the first embodiment, the control unit, the power supply unit, and the operation unit are built in the spectacle frame, but the control unit, the power supply unit, and the operation unit may be provided separately from the spectacle frame. As shown in FIG. 16, a remote controller 87 is provided, and the spectacle frame 13 and the remote controller 87 are connected by a power cable 89 including a signal line. The remote controller 87 includes a control unit 25, a power supply unit 27, and an operation unit 91. The driving unit and the control unit will be described as having the same configuration as that of the first embodiment.

The power supply unit 27 supplies power to the control unit 25 and drives the drive unit 23. As described above, the power cable 89 is a power cable including a signal destination, and is formed in a spiral shape so that it can expand and contract. The operation unit 91 is a touch panel using a liquid crystal screen. The operation unit 91 corresponds to the operation unit 47 described in the first embodiment, and can perform various prior settings, mode switching, and the like described in the first embodiment.

According to the above configuration, since the control unit 25, the power supply unit 27, and the operation unit 91 are provided separately from the spectacle frame, the control unit, the power supply unit, and the operation unit are all mounted on the spectacle frame. The weight of the spectacle frame can be reduced, and liquid variable focus spectacles that are comfortable to wear can be provided.

(Sixth embodiment)
In the fifth embodiment, the spectacle frame and the operation unit are connected by a power cable including a signal line. However, the control generated between the spectacle frame and the operation unit may be wirelessly communicated. . As shown in FIG. 17, the spectacle frame 13 is provided with a control unit 25, a power supply unit 27, and a wireless communication unit 93. The remote controller 87 is provided with an operation unit 91, a wireless communication unit 95, and a power supply unit 103. Bidirectional communication is possible via the wireless communication unit 93 and the wireless communication unit 95.

When the operation unit 91 provided in the remote controller 87 is operated, a predetermined wireless signal is transmitted from the wireless communication unit 93 to the control unit 25 via the wireless communication unit 95. A signal output from the control unit 25 is wirelessly transmitted from the wireless communication unit 95 to the remote controller 87 via the wireless communication unit 93.

According to this, since the operation unit 91 is provided in the remote controller 87 and the communication performed between the spectacle frame 13 and the remote controller 87 is wireless communication, the remote controller 87 can be freely arranged. Can be used. As a result, it is possible to provide liquid variable focus glasses having good operability and liquid variable focus glasses having high convenience. If the remote controller 87 is a bracelet controller that can be worn on the wrist or wrist, the operability and convenience are further improved.

(Seventh embodiment)
Although the stepping motor is used in the first embodiment, a DC motor may be used. As shown in FIG. 18, a disc 99 having a notch 99a formed in a part of the outer periphery is fixed to the rotating shaft 97a of the DC motor 97. When the rotating shaft 97a rotates, the disc 99 is Rotate together. Since the sensor 101 can detect the notch 99a of the disk 99, the control unit can obtain a rotation amount (driving amount) when a visually recognized object at a predetermined distance is clearly visible. it can. Then, if the DC motor 97 is operated by the amount of rotation (drive amount), a visual target object at a predetermined distance can be clearly seen. An encoder may be used instead of the sensor 101. In addition, the drive unit of the drive unit may be a servo motor, a linear motor, or the like.

(Eighth embodiment)
The liquid variable focus glasses described above include distance measuring means (for example, a distance measuring sensor, a photoelectric sensor, etc.) for measuring the distance to the visual recognition object, and the focal length is determined according to the distance measured by the distance measuring means. It is also possible to use liquid variable focus glasses that change the angle. FIG. 19 is a plan sectional view of the variable focus glasses 11 provided with the distance measuring means 45. In addition, it replaces with the distance measurement means mentioned above, and the visual recognition object detection means (for example, photoelectric sensor etc.) which detects the presence or absence of a predetermined visual recognition object may be provided.

(Ninth embodiment)
Similar to the eleventh embodiment, the voltage application variable focus glasses described above include distance measuring means (for example, a distance measuring sensor, a photoelectric sensor, etc.) for measuring the distance to the visual recognition object. It may be voltage application type variable focus glasses that change the focal length according to the measured distance. In addition, it replaces with the distance measurement means mentioned above, and the visual recognition object detection means (for example, photoelectric sensor etc.) which detects the presence or absence of a predetermined visual recognition object may be provided.

(Other embodiments)
In the first embodiment, the rotary encoder is used as the drive amount detection means, but the present invention is not limited to this. For example, a potentiometer or a resolver may be used. Further, a specific position of the drive unit, for example, the movement amount of the piston described in the first embodiment may be detected by a sensor, a linear encoder, or the like. In this case, the moving amount of the piston is the driving amount, and the sensor, the linear encoder, etc. serve as the driving amount detecting means.

In the first embodiment, the piston is controlled using a stepping motor, but the piston may be controlled using a pump. In this case, if a movable amount detecting means (for example, a linear sensor) for detecting the movable amount (driving amount) of the piston is provided, the transparent liquid can be controlled more accurately than in the method controlled by the valve. In addition, a drive unit that drives a dial provided in a reservoir described in the variable focus glasses disclosed in Patent Document 1 may be provided, and the drive unit may be automatically controlled.

In the fifth embodiment, the control unit, the power supply unit, and the operation unit are provided separately from the spectacle frame, but at least one of the control unit, the power supply unit, and the operation unit is provided separately from the spectacle frame. It may be provided.

In the fifth embodiment, the control unit, the power supply unit, and the operation unit are provided separately from the spectacle frame 13, but the drive unit 23 may be provided separately from the spectacle frame. In this case, for example, the remote controller 87 shown in FIG. 16 may include the drive units 23R and 23L, and a pipe connected to the spectacle frame 13 side may be provided integrally with the power cable 89. In the spectacle frame 13, a pipe line connected to the variable focus lens 15 is formed.

The fifth embodiment is a modification of the liquid variable focus lens. However, the same configuration is applied to the voltage application variable focus glasses described above, and the spectacle frame and the remote controller are included in the signal line. It is good also as a structure connected with a power cable. The remote controller is provided with a control unit, a power supply unit, and an operation unit. Note that at least one of the control unit, the power supply unit, and the operation unit may be provided separately from the spectacle frame.

Further, in the sixth embodiment, the control unit 25 is provided in the spectacle frame 13, but the control unit 25 may be provided in the remote controller 87.

The sixth embodiment is a modification of the liquid variable focus lens. However, the same configuration is applied to the voltage application variable focus glasses described above, and the control generated between the spectacle frame and the operation unit is applied. May be wirelessly communicated. Note that the control unit may be provided in the remote controller.

Further, the voltage application type variable focus glasses described above may be variable focus glasses that change the focal length by applying a voltage, and are not limited to the liquid crystal type variable focus glasses described above. For example, a conductive film and an insulating fluid are sealed with a predetermined flexible film in a lens holder (container), an applied voltage is applied to the conductive liquid, the interface is changed, and the focal length is set. Variable focus glasses (Netherlands: Philips Electronics) to be changed, and electronic glasses (France: Varioptic) using lenses utilizing the principle of the electronic wetting phenomenon may be used. Moreover, the variable focus spectacles which apply external force to a lens by applying an applied voltage, change a lens thickness, and change a focal distance may be sufficient.

In the embodiment described above, the order in which the touch sensors are operated and the order in which the drive amount is changed by operating the touch sensors can be changed as appropriate.

In addition, the above-described voltage application type variable focus glasses have a flexible lens body focus by applying a voltage as in, for example, Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2009-271095 (variable focus lens, autofocus device, and imaging device). Glasses that change the distance are also included.

In addition, this invention is not limited only to the said embodiment, In the technical idea described in the claim, it can change freely.
