Description
基材シートとして、和紙(薄葉紙)を準備した。このものは、厚み0.15mm、坪量40g/m2 であった。
基材シートとして、ポリエステル製長繊維からなるスパンボンド不織布(旭化成社製、エルタスE01070)を準備した。この不織布は、引き裂き強度8.5N、厚み0.35mm、坪量70g/m2 であった。
エチレンプロピレンゴム100部、シリカパウダー50部、酸化チタン5部、有機過酸化物〔n−ブチル−4,4−ビス(t−ブチルパーオキシ)バレレート〕2部、イミダゾール{2,4−ジアミノ−6−〔2′−メチルイミダゾリル−(1′)〕エチル−s−トリアジン}10部、モンタンワックス5部を混練機で混練し、金型クリーニング材料を調製した。
上記基材シート(和紙,不織布)の両面に、上記金型クリーニング材料を、下記の表1に示すパターン(帯状,格子状,斑点状)および寸法(幅,厚み,隙間)に突設させた。
上記基材シートの両面に、上記金型クリーニング材料を、一様な平面状(均一厚みのシート状)に形成した。
このようにして得られた実施例1〜7および比較例1,2の各金型再生用シートを用いて、金型のクリーニングを行った。この金型は、半導体素子を樹脂封止する際に用いるトランスファー成形用金型であり、上金型と下金型とからなり、これら上金型と下金型の各型面(対向面)は24mm×91mmの長方形となっている。また、型締めした状態での各キャビティの形状は直方体状であり、その寸法は4mm×5mm×2mm(高さ)である。また、キャビティは16個形成されており、それらが8個ずつ2列に並列状に配置されている。この2列の間隔は10mmであり、各列において隣り合うキャビティの間隔は1mmである。そして、充填率の評価は、上記16個のキャビティのうち最も充填性が悪いキャビティの充填率について行った。また、充填率は、キャビティの底面積と、クリーニングによりキャビティ形状に加熱成形された加硫ゴムの底面積との比率により求めた。なお、上記クリーニングの条件は、金型再生用シートの寸法を上記型面と同じとし、金型の型締めギャップを0.5mmとし、成形温度を175℃とし、成形時間を5分間とした。
上記充填率が100%のものは、キャビティの隅々までクリーニングができたため、○と評価し、上記充填率が100%未満のものは、キャビティのクリーニングが不充分であるため、×と評価し、下記の表1,2に併せて表記した。
2 金型クリーニング材料
Claims (6)
- 成形金型の型締め時の圧力を利用し金型クリーニング材料を上記成形金型のキャビティ開口部からキャビティ内に充填してそのキャビティの内部表面をクリーニングする際に用いる金型再生用シートであって、紙製シートまたは布帛シートの片面もしくは両面に、未加硫ゴム系組成物を主成分とする金型クリーニング材料が、上記キャビティ開口部の配置に対応していない状態で、複数の帯状パターン,格子状パターンまたは斑点状パターンに突設されているとともに、上記帯状パターン,格子状パターンまたは斑点状パターンの所定の上部が上記キャビティ開口部を部分的に塞ぐよう、上記帯状パターンまたは格子状パターンの構成要素の横断面形状が、四角形以外の多角形または半円に形成され、上記斑点状パターンの構成要素の形状が、円錐または角錐に形成され、上記パターンの上部で塞がれていない、上記キャビティ開口部の部分が、上記金型クリーニング材料のキャビティ内への充填性を向上させるために、キャビティ内のエアを抜くためのエア抜き用開口部になっており、上記パターンの、互いに隣り合う構成要素の間の空隙が、エア抜き用空隙に形成されていることを特徴とする金型再生用シート。
- 上記四角形以外の多角形が、三角形である請求項1記載の金型再生用シート。
- 上記パターンの各構成要素の幅および厚みが、1〜5mmの範囲内に設定され、隣り合う、上記パターンの構成要素間の隙間が、1〜5mmの範囲内に設定されている請求項1または2記載の金型再生用シート。
- 上記布帛シートが、不織布である請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の金型再生用シート。
- 上記不織布が、スパンボンド不織布である請求項4記載の金型再生用シート。
- 上記布帛シートが、エンボス処理されている請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載の金型再生用シート。
