Description

The present invention relates to a technology of an exhaust gas recirculation device that introduces EGR gas into an intake system.

Conventionally, an exhaust gas recirculation device that returns part of exhaust gas to an intake system has been proposed in order to improve fuel consumption and reduce NOx in a low load region of the engine. The exhaust gas recirculation device includes a circulation passage that guides exhaust gas to the intake system. The circulation passage is connected to an intake passage through which fresh air flows in the intake system.

Fresh air and EGR gas are mixed at the connection portion between the intake passage and the circulation passage. And the air-fuel mixture of fresh air and EGR gas flows downstream from the connecting portion. The connection structure between the intake passage and the circulation passage will be described in detail. The intake pipe constituting the intake passage and the circulation passage pipe constituting the circulation passage are connected to each other. The circulation passage pipe is connected so as to abut against the intake pipe from the side. Therefore, the EGR gas supplied from the circulation passage is supplied from one side of the intake pipe.

As a result, the EGR gas does not easily spread in the intake passage in the downstream region immediately after the connecting portion. Since the EGR gas hardly spreads in the intake passage, fresh air and EGR gas are separated in the intake passage. Therefore, the gas flowing in the intake passage immediately downstream of the connecting portion. The flow velocity distribution of (the mixture of fresh air and EGR gas) is not uniform within the same flow path cross section.

For example, if the connection portion between the intake passage and the circulation passage is arranged immediately upstream of the turbocharger compressor, the flow velocity distribution is not uniform in the cross section of the flow channel immediately downstream of the connection portion as described above. The pressure acting on the compressor (pressure caused by the mixture of fresh air and EGR gas) varies depending on the part.

As a result, a force in a direction crossing the rotation axis of the compressor acts on the compressor, so that the compressor and the housing housing the compressor come into contact with each other, wear due to the contact, and between the rotation shaft and the bearing. It is conceivable that the compressor is damaged due to wear.

For this reason, even immediately downstream of the connection portion between the circulation passage and the intake passage, the EGR gas diffuses and the flow velocity distribution in the passage cross section becomes uniform so that the fresh air flows around the intake passage. A technique has been proposed in which an annular passage is formed so as to surround the intake passage, and EGR gas is introduced from the circumferential direction into the intake passage through the annular passage.

。   In this type of technology, a hole is formed between the intake passage and the annular passage, and the intake passage and the annular passage communicate with each other through the hole. The circulation path is connected to the annular path, and EGR gas is guided. The EGR gas guided to the annular passage is introduced from the circumferential direction into the intake passage through the hole (for example, see Patent Document 1).

。   Further, a flow path through which the EGR gas flows in the circumferential direction of the intake passage is formed outside the intake passage, and the EGR gas after flowing through the flow path is tangential to the intake passage in the tangential direction of the intake passage. The technology to introduce along is proposed. A communication hole is formed between the flow path through which the EGR gas flows and the intake passage, and the EGR gas is also introduced into the intake passage through the communication hole (see, for example, Patent Document 2).

実開平3−114564号公報Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 3-114564 特開2000−161147号公報JP 2000-161147 A

However, as in Patent Documents 1 and 2, a flow path through which the EGR gas flows in the circumferential direction of the intake passage is formed outside the intake passage, and a constant diameter formed between the flow passage and the intake passage. When the EGR gas is introduced into the intake passage through the holes, when the flow rate of the EGR gas is small, the amount of EGR gas introduced into the intake passage from each hole becomes uneven depending on the location of the holes, and the fresh air and the EGR gas are uniform. It may be difficult to mix with each other. Further, when the EGR gas flow rate is large, the flow of the EGR gas is hindered, so that the EGR gas suction resistance increases. As a result, it is conceivable that EGR gas is hardly introduced into the intake passage.

The present invention efficiently introduces exhaust gas into the intake passage and suppresses non-uniform flow velocity distribution in the cross section of the intake passage even immediately downstream of the connection portion between the intake passage and the circulation passage. An object of the present invention is to provide an exhaust gas recirculation device that can be used.

It is made small as it goes to the vane arranged downstream from the vane.

The main channel 61 is an example of the main channel referred to in the present invention. The annular channel 62 is an example of the annular channel referred to in the present invention.

As shown in FIG. 4, the annular channel 62 is formed along the circumferential direction of the main channel 61 so as to surround the main channel 61 inside. The annular channel 62 is formed in an annular shape along the circumferential direction A of the main channel 61. The circumferential direction is indicated by an arrow in the figure. In FIG. 4, an edge 27 a that defines the annular groove 63 is shown.

An annular groove 63 is formed between the main channel 61 and the annular channel 62. The main channel 61 and the annular channel 62 communicate with each other through the annular groove 63. The annular groove 63 is formed in an annular shape along the circumferential direction A of the main flow path 61. That is, the annular groove 63 is formed in the entire circumferential direction of the main channel 61. For this reason, the main channel 61 and the annular channel 62 communicate with each other in the annular direction in the circumferential direction A of the main channel 61. Therefore, the main channel 61 and the annular channel 62 are all in the circumferential direction of the main channel 61. Communicate with each other. The annular groove 63 is an example of the annular groove referred to in the present invention.

The annular channel 62 will be specifically described. As shown in FIG. 3, the annular flow path 62 is defined by the inner surface of the outer peripheral wall portion 64. The outer peripheral wall portion 64 includes a bottom wall portion 65 that faces the annular groove 63, an upstream side wall portion 66 that faces the upstream side of the main channel 61, and a downstream side wall portion 67 that faces the downstream side of the main channel 61. Have. The bottom wall portion 65 is formed in a gentle annular shape along the circumferential direction A of the main channel 61 so as to surround the main channel 61 inside.

The upstream side wall portion 66 is connected to the upstream edge of the bottom wall portion 65 and is integrated. Further, the upstream side wall portion 66 is connected to the edge 26 a of the first communication port 26 that is located upstream of the main flow path 61 in the intake passage 23 and communicates with the main flow path 61. Further, the intake passage 23 immediately upstream from the edge 26a is connected to the edge 26a by forming a throttle portion 110 so that the flow passage cross-sectional area decreases toward the center of the cross section of the intake passage 23. The downstream side wall 67 is connected to the downstream edge of the bottom wall 65. Further, the downstream side wall 67 is connected to the edge 27 a of the second communication port 27 that is located downstream of the main channel 61 in the intake passage 23 and communicates with the main channel 61.

As described above, the annular groove 63 is defined by the connecting portion between the upper and lower side wall portions of the outer peripheral wall portion 64 that defines the annular flow path 62 and the intake passage.

The exhaust gas introduction path 80 is connected to the annular flow path 62 so that the exhaust gas G flows in one direction A <b> 1 of the circumferential direction A in the annular flow path 62. The one direction A <b> 1 is the same direction as the rotation direction of the compressor 71. FIG. 4 shows a state in which the annular channel 62 is cross-sectioned so as to cross the axial center line 61a of the main channel 61 vertically. As shown in FIG. 4, the exhaust gas introduction path 80 is connected to the annular flow path 62 along the tangential direction of the outer peripheral edge 62 a of the annular flow path 62 defined by the inner surface of the bottom wall portion 65. The exhaust gas introduction path 80 is connected to a position that does not overlap the main flow path 61 in the direction B in which the exhaust gas G flows when flowing into the annular flow path 62 from the exhaust gas introduction path 80.

In the drawing, the direction B in which the exhaust gas G flows when it flows into the annular flow path 62 from the exhaust gas introduction path 80 is indicated by an arrow. Further, in the figure, a range overlapping with the main flow channel 61 when viewed along the direction B is indicated by a range 103 surrounded by a pair of two-dot chain lines 101 and 102, and a range not overlapping is indicated by reference numerals 100 and 104. . A range 100 is a range on the right side of the two-dot chain line 101 in the figure. A range 104 is a range on the left side of the two-dot chain line 102 in the figure. Thus, the exhaust gas G is connected within the range 100.

As the exhaust gas introduction path 80 is connected to the annular flow path 62 as described above, the exhaust gas G introduced into the annular flow path 62 from the exhaust gas introduction path 80 is indicated by an arrow in the figure. , And flows along one direction A1 in the circumferential direction A. The exhaust gas introduction path 80 is an example of the exhaust gas introduction path referred to in the present invention.

The above-described connection structure of the exhaust gas introduction path 80 is an example. The connection structure between the exhaust gas introduction path 80 and the annular flow path 62 may be different from the above. In short, in the exhaust gas introduction path 80, the exhaust gas introduced from the exhaust gas introduction path 80 into the annular flow path 62 may flow along the one direction A1 in the circumferential direction A in the annular flow path 62. .

Next, the width w1 of the annular groove 63 and the width w2 of the inner surface 65a of the bottom wall portion 65 will be described. As shown in FIG. 3, the width w <b> 1 here indicates the length of the opening of the annular groove 63 along the axial center line 61 a of the main channel 61. In the present embodiment, the axial center line 23a of the intake passage 23 and the axial center line 61a of the main flow path 61 overlap each other, and are therefore the same. The width w2 of the inner surface 65a of the bottom wall portion 65 referred to here is a length that is so long as the axial center line 61a of the main channel 61 on the inner surface 65a. The inner surface 65a is an example of a bottom edge referred to in the present invention.

As shown in FIG. 3, in this embodiment, the width w <b> 1 of the annular groove 63 is kept constant in an annular shape in the circumferential direction of the main channel 61. In the present embodiment, as an example, the width w2 of the inner surface 65a of the bottom wall portion 65 continuously decreases as it proceeds downstream along the one direction A1. At this time, the end portion of the bottom wall portion 65 that is connected to the upstream side wall portion 66 becomes shorter toward the downstream side wall portion 65.

In the present embodiment, the area of the channel cross section that crosses the one direction A1 of the annular channel 62 continuously decreases as it proceeds downstream along the one direction A1. Specifically, the width w2 decreases, and the width w3, which is the distance between the annular groove 63 and the inner surface 65a, decreases continuously as it proceeds downstream along the one direction A1. For this reason, the area of the cross section of the flow path crossing the one direction A1 of the annular flow path 62 continuously decreases as the flow proceeds downstream along the one direction A1.

Next, the annular flow path 62 will be described. The annular channel 62 is defined by inner surfaces 65 a, 66 a, 67 a of the bottom wall portion 65, the upstream side wall portion 66, and the downstream side wall portion 67.

As shown in FIG. 3, the inner surface 67 a of the downstream side wall portion 67 is planar. The angle α defined by the inner surface 67 a of the downstream side wall 67 and the inner surface 25 a of the pipe member 25 that defines the intake passage 23 is 90 degrees over the entire circumference of the main flow path 61. A connecting portion 90 between the inner surface 67a of the downstream side wall 67 and the inner surface 25a of the pipe member 25 constituting the intake passage 23 is gently formed from the inner surface 67a to the inner surface 25a.

As shown in FIG. 3, the inner surface 65 a of the bottom wall portion 65 is straight when viewed in a cross section that crosses the circumferential direction A. An angle β formed by the inner surface 65 a of the bottom wall portion 65 and the inner surface 67 a of the downstream side wall portion 67 is 90 degrees over the entire circumference in the circumferential direction of the main flow path 61. The connecting portion 91 between the inner surface 65a and the inner surface 67a is gently formed from the inner surface 65a to the inner surface 67a.

The inner surface 66a of the upstream side wall portion 66 is linear when viewed in a cross section of the annular flow path 62 in a direction crossing the circumferential direction A. The angle γ defined by the inner surface 65a and the inner surface 66a is 90 degrees. The inner surface 66a is an example of the upstream edge referred to in the present invention. The inner surface 65a and the inner surface 66a are smoothly continuous.

As shown in FIGS. 2 to 4, the annular flow path 62 is provided with a plurality of vanes along the annular groove 63. The plurality of vanes are arranged at equal intervals along the annular groove 63. In the present embodiment, the first to eighth vanes 301, 302, 303, 304, 305, 306, 307, 308, and 309 are used as an example. The 1st-8th vanes 301-308 are examples of the vane said by this invention.

As shown in FIG. 4, the first vane 301 is disposed at a position facing the connecting portion 200 between the annular flow path 62 and the exhaust gas introduction path 80. The second to seventh vanes 302 to 307 are sequentially provided downstream from the first vane 301 along the one direction A1.

The first to eighth vanes 301 to 308 may have the same structure. Therefore, the structure of the first vane 301 will be described as a representative. The first vane 301 includes a rotation shaft 310 and a vane body 311. As shown in FIG. 2, the rotation shaft 310 extends parallel to the axial center line 61 a of the main flow path 61. The rotating shaft 310 is rotatably supported by the downstream side wall portion 67 and the upstream side wall portion 66 that constitute the annular groove 63.

The vane body 311 is integrally fixed to the rotation shaft 310. Therefore, when the rotating shaft 310 rotates around the axis of the rotating shaft 310, the vane body 311 rotates integrally with the rotating shaft 310.

The second to eighth vanes 302 to 308 also have the same structure as the first vane 301. The postures of the vane bodies 311 of the first to eighth vanes 301 to 308 are independently controlled. In this embodiment, since each vane 301-308 is a structure provided with the vane main body 311 and the rotating shaft 310, rotation of the rotating shaft 310 of the 1st-8th vanes 301-308 is each independently controlled.

Specifically, each rotating shaft 310 can be rotated by an actuator (not shown). As shown in FIG. 1, the operation of each actuator is controlled by a control device 320. For this reason, the attitude | position of each vane main body 311 of the 1st-8th vanes 301-308 can be controlled independently.

As shown in FIGS. 2 and 3, the width of the axis center line 61 a of each vane body 311 is substantially the same as the width w <b> 1 of the annular groove 63. For this reason, the exhaust gas G flows into the main flow path 61 through a gap defined between the adjacent vane bodies 311.

Here, a gap defined between the vane body 311 of the eighth vane 308 and the vane body 311 of the first vane 301 is defined as a first inlet 331. A gap defined between the vane body 311 of the first vane 301 and the vane body 311 of the second vane 302 is defined as a second inlet 332. A gap defined between the vane body 311 of the second vane 302 and the vane body 311 of the third vane 303 is defined as a third inlet 333. A gap defined between the vane body 311 of the third vane 303 and the vane body 311 of the fourth vane 304 is defined as a fourth inlet 334. A gap defined between the vane body 311 of the fourth vane 304 and the vane body 311 of the fifth vane 305 is defined as a fifth inlet 335. A gap defined between the vane body 311 of the fifth vane 305 and the vane body 311 of the sixth vane 306 is defined as a sixth inlet 336. A gap defined between the vane body 311 of the sixth vane 306 and the vane body 311 of the seventh vane 307 is defined as a seventh inlet 337. A gap defined between the vane body 311 of the seventh vane 307 and the vane body 311 of the eighth vane 308 is defined as an eighth inlet 338. The first to eighth inflow ports 331 to 338 are examples of the inflow ports referred to in the present invention.

Since the postures of the vane body 311 of the first to eighth vanes 301 to 308 can be controlled independently, the opening degrees of the first to eighth inlets 331 to 338 can also be controlled independently. The opening degree referred to here indicates the ratio of the gap to the maximum width in the gap defined between the vane bodies 311 adjacent in the circumferential direction A. The larger the opening, the larger the width of the gap defined between the adjacent vane bodies 311. The first to eighth vanes 301 to 308 are an example of the vane referred to in the present invention and an example of the blocking portion referred to in the present invention.

In the first to eighth vanes 301 to 308, the rotary shafts 310 are spaced apart at equal intervals, and the vane body 311 has the same shape. For this reason, the width | variety is the same in the circumferential direction A of the opening which each opening degree of the 1st-8th inflow ports 331-338 shows. In other words, for example, the width of the gap in the circumferential direction A indicated by 50% of the opening degree of the first inlet 331, and the width of the gap in the circumferential direction A indicated by 50% of the opening degree of the second inlet 332, for example. Are the same value.

Next, the openings x1 to x8 of the first to eighth inflow ports 331 to 338 will be described. The first to eighth vanes 301 to 308 are arranged in order from the first vane 301 toward the downstream along the one direction A1. For this reason, the 1st-8th inflow ports 331-338 are located in a line toward the downstream along the one direction A1 from the 1st inflow port 331. The first inflow port 331 faces the connecting part 200.

The opening degree of each of the first to eighth inflow ports 331 to 338 increases continuously as it proceeds downstream, based on the opening degree of the first inflow port 331. In other words, the width of each of the first to eighth inflow ports 331 to 338 so as to open in the circumferential direction A is continuous toward the downstream with respect to the width of the first inflow port 331 along the circumferential direction A. Become bigger. More specifically, the opening x1 of the first inlet 331 <the opening x2 of the second inlet 332 <the opening x3 of the third inlet 333 <the opening x4 of the fourth inlet 334 < The opening x5 of the fifth inlet 335 <the opening x6 of the sixth inlet 336 <the opening x7 of the seventh inlet 337 <the opening x8 of the eighth inlet 338.

Further, as described above, the openings x1 to x8 are set to the flow rate Q of the exhaust gas G to the exhaust gas introduction path 80 while maintaining the relative relationship of x1 <x2 <x3 <x4 <x5 <x6 <x7 <x8. It is adjusted accordingly. The flow rate Q of the exhaust gas G to the exhaust gas introduction path 80 is the same as the flow rate Q of the exhaust gas G to the annular flow path 62.

As shown in FIG. 1, the exhaust gas introduction path 80 is provided with an exhaust gas amount detection sensor 350 that detects the flow rate of the exhaust gas to the exhaust gas introduction path 80. The exhaust gas amount detection sensor 350 is connected to the control device 230, and the flow rate Q of the exhaust gas G detected by the exhaust gas amount detection sensor 350 is transmitted to the control device 230. The control device 230 drives each actuator (not shown) according to the flow rate Q of the exhaust gas G, rotates the vane main body 311 of the first to eighth vanes 301 to 308, and the first to eighth inlets 331 to 332. The opening degree x1 to x8 is adjusted.

FIG. 5 is a map showing the relationship between the flow rate Q of the exhaust gas G and the openings x1 to x8 of the first to eighth inflow ports 331 to 338. In FIG. 5, the horizontal axis indicates the flow rate Q of the exhaust gas G, and the flow rate Q of the exhaust gas G increases as it proceeds to the right side in the drawing. In the figure, the vertical axis indicates the opening x1 to x8 of the first to eighth inflow ports 331 to 338, and the opening increases as proceeding upward in the figure.

As shown in FIG. 5, in the present embodiment, the opening x1 to x8 of the first to eighth inlets 331 to 338 are from the flow rate Q of the exhaust gas G to 0 to a first predetermined flow rate P1 set in advance. Range (0 <Q ≦ P1) and the range (P1 <Q ≦ P1) and the flow rate Q of the exhaust gas G from the first predetermined flow rate P1 to the preset second predetermined flow rate P2. In each of the second states S2 that are P2), it is determined by a geometric progression. The second predetermined flow rate P2> the first predetermined flow rate P1. The first predetermined flow rate P1 is an example of the first predetermined flow rate referred to in the present invention. The second predetermined flow rate P2 is an example of a second predetermined flow rate referred to in the present invention.

This point will be specifically described. First, the first state S1 will be described. As shown in FIG. 5, in the first state S1, the opening x1 of the first inlet 331 is determined in advance according to the flow rate Q of the exhaust gas G, and the flow rate Q of the exhaust gas G increases. It increases in proportion to.

The opening x2 to x8 of the second to eighth inflow ports 332 to 338 has an opening x1 of the first inflowing port 331 as an initial term, and a preset common ratio is R1, and the opening degree = x1 × R1 ( Inflow number-1) . More specifically, at the second inlet 332, x2 = x1 × R1 (2-1) . At the third inflow port 333, x3 = x1 × R1 (3-1) . At the fourth inflow port 334, x4 = x1 × R1 (4-1) . In the fifth inlet 335, x5 = x1 × R1 (5-1) . At the sixth inflow port 336, x6 = x1 × R1 (6-1) . At the seventh inflow port 337, x7 = x1 × R1 (7-1) . In the eighth inlet 338, x8 = x1 × R1 (8-1) .

In the second state S2, the opening x1 of the first inlet 331, which is the first term, increases in proportion to the increase in the flow rate Q of the exhaust gas G, but the slope is larger than in the first state S1. Become. The common ratio for determining the opening x2 to x8 of the second to eighth inlets 332 to 338 is R2, and as the flow rate Q of the exhaust gas G increases, R2 decreases within the range of 1 <R2 <R1. To go. However, as the flow rate Q of the exhaust gas G increases, R2 changes so that the openings x2 to x8 increase.

The map shown in FIG. 5 is set so that the amount of exhaust gas G flowing in from each inflow port becomes uniform. For this reason, the quantity of the exhaust gas which flows in from each inflow port becomes uniform.

FIG. 6 shows a state in which the connecting portion 60 is sectioned as shown in FIG. 4, and the flow rate Q of the exhaust gas G flowing into the exhaust gas introduction path 80 is in any state of the first state S1. The 1st-8th inflow ports 331-338 are shown. FIG. 4 shows the first to eighth inflow ports 331 to 338 when the flow rate Q of the exhaust gas G flowing into the exhaust gas introduction path 80 is in any state of the second state S2.

In the present embodiment, when the flow rate Q of the exhaust gas G flowing into the annular channel 62 is 0 (zero), the opening degrees of the first to eighth inlets 331 to 338 are all 0 (zero). . Further, when the amount of the exhaust gas G flowing into the annular flow path 62 exceeds the second predetermined flow rate P2, the opening degree of the first to eighth inflow ports 331 to 338 is such that the flow rate Q of the exhaust gas G is the second. The opening when the predetermined flow rate P2 is maintained.

In the present embodiment, the openings x1 to x8 of the first to eighth inlets 331 to 338 are divided into the first and second states S1 and S2 according to the flow rate Q of the exhaust gas G, and the ratio is equal. Determined by number sequence. However, this determination method is an example, and is not limited to this method. In short, the opening x1 to x8 of the first to eighth inflow ports 331 to 338 may be set so as to increase continuously as it proceeds downstream.

Next, the structure at a position upstream of the main flow path 61 in the intake passage 23 will be described. FIG. 7 is a side view showing the connecting portion 60 and the vicinity of the connecting portion 60 from the side. In FIG. 7, the portion including the throttle valve 24 in the pipe member 25 forming the intake passage 23 is shown by being cut away.

As shown in FIG. 7, the throttle portion 110 is located immediately upstream of the main flow path 61 in the intake passage 23. The restricting portion 110 is restricted so that the cross section of the flow path becomes smaller with respect to the upstream portion of the restricting portion 110. In the present embodiment, the throttle unit 110 is located downstream of the throttle valve 24.

Next, the operation of the low pressure EGR device 50 will be described. When the exhaust gas G is supplied using the low pressure EGR device 50 in accordance with the operation state of the diesel engine 11, the low pressure EGR valve 500 is opened.

When the low pressure EGR gas is to be supplied, that is, when the low pressure EGR valve 500 is opened, a part of the exhaust gas G flows from the exhaust passage 31 into the exhaust gas introduction passage 80. As shown in FIG. 1, the exhaust gas amount detection sensor 350 detects the flow rate Q of the exhaust gas G flowing into the exhaust gas introduction path 80 and transmits the flow rate Q to the control device 230. The control device 230 drives an actuator (not shown) based on the map shown in FIG. 5 according to the detected flow rate Q of the exhaust gas G, and the opening 1 to x8 of the first to eighth inlets 331 to 338. Adjust.

As shown in FIG. 4, the exhaust gas G flowing into the exhaust gas introduction path 80 flows into the annular flow path 62 from the exhaust gas introduction path 80. The exhaust gas G that has flowed into the annular channel 62 flows toward the downstream side along the one direction A1. At this time, as shown in the drawing, the exhaust gas G flows into the main flow path 61 through the first to eighth inlets 331 to 338.

The momentum of the flow of the exhaust gas G in the annular flow path 62 becomes smaller as it flows downstream along the one direction A1. In other words, the momentum of the flow of the exhaust gas G gradually decreases from the connecting portion 200 toward the downstream side. Further, the opening x1 to x8 of the first to eighth inflow ports 331 to 338 are based on the opening x1 of the first inflow port 331 facing the connecting part 200, and the second to eighth inflow ports 332 to 338. It grows continuously in the order of. In other words, the opening x1 of the first inlet 331 is the smallest.

For this reason, in the connection part 200 where the flow rate of the exhaust gas G is strong, the opening x1 of the first inlet 331 is small, so the amount of the exhaust gas G flowing into the main flow path 61 from the first inlet 331 is small. The exhaust gas G is thus led downstream.

As the exhaust gas G flows downstream, the momentum of the flow of the exhaust gas G decreases, and the opening degree of the inlet is increased accordingly, so that the main channel 61 passes through each of the first to eighth inlets 331 to 338. The flow rate of the inflowing exhaust gas G is substantially the same. In other words, the openings x1 to x8 of the first to eighth inlets 331 to 338 are continuously reduced toward the downstream so that the amount of the exhaust gas G flowing into the main flow path 61 through each inlet is uniform. Set to be larger.

In the main flow path 61, the fresh air N and the exhaust gas G that have flowed through the air cleaner 21 are uniformly mixed. For this reason, the fresh air N and the exhaust gas G in the cross section of the intake passage 23 that is perpendicular to the axial line 23a of the intake passage 23 in the downstream area of the main passage 61 in the intake passage 23 even immediately below the main passage 61. The flow velocity distribution of the air-fuel mixture M becomes substantially uniform.

In the intake passage 23, the flow velocity distribution at a portion immediately downstream of the main flow path 61 becomes substantially uniform, so that the pressure applied to the compressor 71 is also uniform at each portion.

As shown in FIG. 7, in the intake passage 23, there is a tendency that a dead water region 120 where the flow of fresh air N stagnates is formed around the throttle valve 24. The range indicated by the one-dot chain line in the figure is the dead water region 120. However, the presence of the throttle portion 110 causes a flow velocity vector toward the axial center of the intake flow path 23 to be generated in the throttle portion 110, so that the dead water region 120 moves upstream. As a result, the dead water region 120 is accommodated on the upstream side of the main channel 61. In other words, the throttle part 110 is formed so that the dead water region 120 is not formed downstream of the main channel 61 and the main channel 61. Further, since the throttle portion 110 is provided, it is possible to suppress the fresh air N flowing from the intake passage 23 to the main flow path 61 from being guided in the axial direction of the main flow path 61 and flowing into the annular flow path 62.

Further, the connecting portion 90 between the inner surface 67a of the downstream side wall portion 67 of the annular flow channel 62 and the inner surface 25a defining the intake passage 23 is gently formed (so-called R chamfering), whereby the exhaust gas G is generated. When the gas flows into the main flow channel 61 from the annular flow channel 62, the exhaust gas G is prevented from being separated from the inner surface 25a. By separating the exhaust gas G from the inner surface 25a, the flow rate of the exhaust gas G in the vicinity of the inner surface 25a is reduced. That is, the exhaust gas G is prevented from being separated from the inner surface 25a, so that the flow velocity distribution of the air-fuel mixture M in the intake passage 23 downstream of the main flow passage 61 becomes uniform.

Thus, in the present embodiment, the flow velocity distribution of the air-fuel mixture M in the intake passage 23 on the downstream side of the main flow path 61 is uniform.

As a result, even if the compressor 71 is arranged immediately downstream of the main flow path 61 as in this embodiment, the compressor 71 and the compressor are caused by the non-uniform flow velocity distribution of the air-fuel mixture M. Occurrence of problems such as contact with the housing 71a that houses 71 and wear between the rotating shaft 73 of the compressor 71 and the bearing 74 that supports the rotating shaft 73 is prevented.

The opening degree of the first to eighth inlets 331 to 338 is adjusted according to the flow rate Q of the exhaust gas G while maintaining the relative relationship of x1 <x2 <x3 <x4 <x5 <x6 <x7 <x8. The Specifically, when the flow rate of the exhaust gas G increases, the opening degree is controlled to increase. As a result, it is possible to reduce the resistance when the exhaust gas G flows into the main flow path 61 through the first to eighth inlets 331 to 338, and therefore, the exhaust gas G more effectively enters the main flow path 61. Will be introduced.

Further, since the connecting portion 90 between the inner surface 67a and the inner surface 25a is smoothly continuous and the angle α is 90 degrees, the exhaust gas G is further suppressed from being separated from the inner surface 25a.

In the present embodiment, the angle α defined by the inner surface 67a and the inner surface 25a is 90 degrees, but is not limited thereto. The angle α formed by the inner surface 67a and the inner surface 25a is any value between 90 degrees and less than 180 degrees, so that the exhaust gas G is separated from the inner surface 25a because the inner surface 67a is smoothly connected from the inner surface 67a to the inner surface 25a. Is suppressed. In a range F3 in FIG. 3, a state where the angle α defined by the inner surface 67a and the inner surface 25a is 120 degrees and a state where the angle α is 150 degrees is shown as another example (other than 90 degrees). . Even in these cases, the connecting portion 90 is gentle (R chamfered).

In the present embodiment, the first to eighth inflow ports 331 to 338 are used as an example of the inflow port. However, it is not limited to this. For example, as in the present embodiment, a plurality of other inflow ports such as ten inflow ports including a vane body and a rotation shaft may be provided. In this case, the opening of each inlet increases continuously as it progresses downstream, and the opening is adjusted according to the flow rate of exhaust gas to the annular flow path, and flows into the intake passage from each inlet. By setting the amount of exhaust gas to be uniform, the same operation and effect as in the present embodiment can be obtained.

Next, an exhaust gas recirculation apparatus according to a second embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to FIG. In addition, the structure which has the same function as 1st Embodiment attaches | subjects the code | symbol same as 1st Embodiment, and abbreviate | omits description. In the present embodiment, the structure of the inlet is different from that of the first embodiment. Other structures may be the same as those in the first embodiment. The different structure will be specifically described.

FIG. 8 is a cross-sectional view showing a state in which the connecting portion 60 is cut in the same manner as in FIG. 2 of the first embodiment. As shown in FIG. 8, in the present embodiment, an annular partition 400 that partitions the main channel 61 and the annular channel 62 is formed between the main channel 61 and the annular channel 62. First to eighth inflow ports 331 to 338 are formed in the partition wall 400 at regular intervals in the circumferential direction A. In the drawing, only the first to third inflow ports 331 to 333 are shown, but actually, the fourth to eighth inflow ports are also formed. The first inflow port 331 faces the connecting part 200.

The partition wall portion 400 is connected to the upstream side wall portion 66 and the downstream side wall portion 67. Therefore, the main channel 61 and the annular channel 62 are only passed through the first to eighth inflow ports 331 to 338. Communicated.

The first to eighth inflow ports 331 to 338 can communicate with the annular flow path 62 and the main flow path 61, and the sizes of the openings are the same. Each of the first to eighth inlets 331 to 338 is provided with a lid member 401 capable of adjusting the opening degree of the inlet. Each lid member 401 opens and closes an inflow port as shown by an arrow in the figure by an actuator (not shown). The actuator (not shown) is driven by the control device 230 in accordance with the flow rate Q of the exhaust gas G flowing into the exhaust gas introduction path 80, as in the first embodiment. The lid member 401 is an example of a blocking portion referred to in the present invention.

In the present embodiment, the opening x1 to x8 of the first to eighth inlets 331 to 338 indicate the ratio of the area not covered by the lid member 401 to the fully opened state of the inlet. The openings x1 to x8 of the first to eighth inlets 331 to 338 are adjusted by the map shown in FIG. 5 as in the first embodiment. In the present embodiment, the same effect as in the first embodiment can be obtained.

In the first and second embodiments, the low pressure EGR device 50 is used as the exhaust gas recirculation device of the present invention. However, the exhaust gas recirculation device of the present invention is not limited to being used only for the low pressure EGR device 50.
