Description
穀物より細根を成長させること、当該細根を当該穀物より取り除くこと、および当該穀物よりさらなる細根を成長させることを含む。
微生物の増殖を抑えるためのUV照射;
約 7〜13℃、通常約10℃に制御された温度;
強制的循環気流により80%に制御された相対湿度;
細根および芽が穀物の殻を貫通することを防ぐための30 分周期の定期的な回転(各回転時の後に、3時間の静止期が付随する)
Claims (18)
- 穀物中の一以上の穀物の加水分解酵素の量を増大するための方法であって、穀物の一以上の選択した器官または組織が非致命的に損傷する条件下にて該穀物を発芽させることを含み、該選択した器官または組織が細根もしくはその一部または芽である、上記方法。
- 穀物に物理的処理を施し、該穀物を非致命的に損傷させる条件下にて該穀物を発芽させる、請求項1記載の方法。
- 穀物を回転、撹拌または加圧することによって、該穀物に物理的処理を施す、請求項2記載の方法。
- 物理的処理を施すことにより、穀物を磨耗、破裂または傷つける、請求項3記載の方法。
- 穀物に化学的処理または熱処理を施し、該穀物を非致命的に損傷させる条件下にて、該穀物を発芽させる、請求項1記載の方法。
- 選択した器官または組織が穀物の細根である、請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 穀物に物理的処理を施し、該穀物より細根を部分的にまたは完全に除去する条件下にて、
該穀物を発芽させる、請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載の方法。 - 穀物より細根が成長または再成長する条件に付する、請求項7記載の方法。
- 穀物が約40%以下の含水率である、請求項1〜8のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 穀物を発芽する前に、水溶液中に穀物を浸漬する工程を含む、請求項1〜9のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 穀物を浸漬し、該穀物の含水率を約40%以下とする、請求項10記載の方法。
- 水溶液が成長促進剤、抗菌剤およびアルカリからなる群より選択される1または複数の化
合物を含む、請求項10または11記載の方法。 - 穀物を1以上の水溶液中に浸漬する、請求項12記載の方法。
- 穀物を最初に50ppm SO2を含有する水溶液中に浸漬し約20%まで該穀物の含水率を高める、
請求項13記載の方法。 - 穀物をさらに、5〜20 ppm ジベレリン酸を含有するpHが約8.0の水溶液中に浸漬し、該穀
物の含水率を約40%まで高める、請求項14記載の方法。 - 穀物を、約5日間またはそれよりも短い期間浸漬する、請求項13〜15のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 穀物が損傷する条件下にて約10日間またはそれより短い期間、該穀物を発芽させる、請
求項1〜16のいずれか1項に記載の方法。 - 一以上の穀物の加水分解酵素が、αアミラーゼ、βアミラーゼ、限界デキストリナーゼ、およびキシラナーゼからなる群から選択される、請求項1〜17のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
