Description

外傷治療用装置を組み立てる方法は、陰圧を生じさせる真空源と陰圧の量を制御するための圧力コントローラとからなる真空源モジュールを用意するステップを含む。かかる方法は、また、外傷部分を少なくとも部分的に覆うハウジングを備えた覆いモジュールを用意するステップを含む。覆いモジュールは、また、ハウジング内に配置されて外傷と連通した多孔性の液体捕集部を備える。液体捕集部は、外傷の浸出液を保持するとともに、同時に真空源によって発生させられた陰圧を外傷部分に供給する。覆いモジュールは、また、液体捕集部と真空源モジュールとの間に配置された液体バリアを備える。覆いモジュールは、さらに、外傷の周囲の表面に対して覆いモジュールを気密にするためのシールを備える。かかる方法は、さらに、覆いモジュールに対して真空源モジュールを固定し、真空源モジュールから陰圧が覆いモジュールに伝達されるようにし、装置を外傷部分の近傍に取り付けることを含む。本発明の目的を達成するため、上述した方法を構成するステップは、異なる順序で実行してもよいことは、当業者にとって明らかである。

Claims (55)
- 外傷の少なくとも一部を覆うハウジングと、
前記ハウジングと流体連通した真空源と、
前記ハウジング内に配置され、外傷と連通した液体捕集部であって、当該液体捕集部を介して前記真空源と外傷との間の流体連通を許容する複数の流路を形成する多孔性部材から構成され、装置が大気圧以下の圧力状態となったときに当該液体捕集部を介して前記真空源と外傷との間の流体連通を許容するのに十分な剛性を有し、かつ、外傷の浸出液を保持するとともに、同時に前記真空源によって発生させられた陰圧を外傷に伝達する液体捕集部と、
前記液体捕集部と前記真空源との間に配置された液体バリアと、
を備えたことを特徴とする外傷治療用装置。 - 前記ハウジングは、装置が大気圧以下の圧力状態となったときに前記液体捕集部を介して前記真空源と外傷との間の流体連通を許容するのに十分な剛性を有する、
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の外傷治療用装置。 - 前記ハウジングは、前記液体捕集部とともに、装置が大気圧以下の圧力状態となったときに前記液体捕集部を介して前記真空源と外傷との間の流体連通を許容するのに十分な剛性を有する、
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の外傷治療用装置。 - 前記液体捕集部は、当該液体捕集部に加えられる所定の大きさの機械力の下で液体を保持する、
ことを特徴とする請求項1乃至3のいずれかに記載の外傷治療用装置。 - 前記真空源は、前記ハウジングの内側に配置されている、
ことを特徴とする請求項1乃至4のいずれかに記載の外傷治療用装置。 - 前記真空源は、前記ハウジングの外側に配置されている、
ことを特徴とする請求項1乃至4のいずれかに記載の外傷治療用装置。 - 前記真空源と流体連通した真空チャンバをさらに備える、

ことを特徴とする請求項8に記載の外傷治療用装置。 - 前記液体捕集部は、装置が大気圧以下の圧力状態となったとき、当該液体捕集部を介して前記真空源と外傷との間の流体連通を許容するのに十分な剛性を有する、
ことを特徴とする請求項9に記載の外傷治療用装置。 - 前記液体保持チャンバは、外傷の周辺部の内側から外傷の周辺部の外側まで延伸する、
ことを特徴とする請求項8乃至10のいずれかに記載の外傷治療用装置。 - 前記ハウジングは、外傷の少なくとも一部を覆う近位端と、外傷の周辺部の外側に配置される遠位端とを備える、
ことを特徴とする請求項1乃至11のいずれかに記載の外傷治療用装置。 - 前記真空源は、前記ハウジングの遠位端で当該ハウジングに取り付けられる、
ことを特徴とする請求項12に記載の外傷治療用装置。 - 前記真空源は、前記ハウジングの近位端で当該ハウジングに取り付けられる、
ことを特徴とする請求項12のいずれかに記載の外傷治療用装置。 - 装置の配置向きに関わらず装置の動作を維持するための手段をさらに備える、
ことを特徴とする請求項1乃至14のいずれかに記載の外傷治療用装置。 - 前記真空源は、電源を含む、
ことを特徴とする請求項1乃至15のいずれかに記載の外傷治療用装置。 - 前記ハウジングは、ポリスチレン、ポリエステル、ポリエチレン、シリコン、ネオプレン、及び、それらの組み合わせのうちの一つから形成されたものである、
ことを特徴とする請求項1乃至16のいずれかに記載の外傷治療用装置。 - 前記ハウジングは、フレキシブルなバリアから構成される、

ことを特徴とする請求項1乃至23のいずれかに記載の外傷治療用装置。 - 前記液体捕集部は、さらに、抗菌剤を含む、
ことを特徴とする請求項1乃至24のいずれかに記載の外傷治療用装置。 - 前記液体バリアは、気体が浸透可能な膜から構成される、
ことを特徴とする請求項1乃至25のいずれかにに記載の外傷治療用装置。 - 前記液体バリアは、疎水性の構造体から構成される、
ことを特徴とする請求項1乃至26のいずれかに記載の外傷治療用装置。 - 外傷接触部をさらに備える、
ことを特徴とする請求項1乃至27のいずれかに記載の外傷治療用装置。 - 前記外傷接触部は、シート、発泡体、ゲル、ガーゼ、多孔性母材、蜂の巣、モップ、紙ふぶき、内蔵式のチューブ状構造体、及びそれらの組み合わせのうちの一つから構成される、

ことを特徴とする請求項1乃至31のいずれかに記載の外傷治療用装置。 - 前記排気口は、フィルタを備える、

前記液体捕集部と前記真空源との間に配置された液体バリアと、
外傷と前記液体捕集部との間に配置された外傷接触部と、
前記ハウジングによって外傷の周囲の皮膚を気密にするシールと、
を備えたことを特徴とする外傷治療用装置。 - 前記液体捕集部は、装置が大気圧以下の圧力状態となったときに前記液体捕集部の流路の少なくとも一つを開いたままにするのに十分な剛性を有する、
ことを特徴とする請求項46に記載の外傷治療用装置。 - ユーザの皮膚を保護するための皮膚保護層をさらに備える、
ことを特徴とする請求項46又は47に記載の外傷治療用装置。 - 前記液体捕集部は、スポンジ、繊維、布、ガーゼ、吸収材、吸収材、ポリマー、ゲル、ゲル剤、発泡体、充てん材料、及びそれらの組み合わせのうちの一つから構成される、

ことを特徴とする請求項50に記載の外傷治療用装置。 - 前記液体捕集部が液体を吸収している間、外傷における圧力を治療に適した圧力に維持するための手段をさらに備える、
ことを特徴とする請求項46乃至51のいずれかに記載の外傷治療用装置。 - 外傷の少なくとも一部を覆うハウジングと、
前記ハウジングと流体連通した真空源と、
前記ハウジング内に配置され、外傷と連通した多孔性の液体捕集部であって、複数の流路を形成し、外傷の浸出液を保持するとともに、同時に前記真空源によって発生させられた陰圧を前記流路を介して外傷に供給する液体捕集部と、
前記液体捕集部と前記真空源との間に配置された液体バリアと、
前記液体捕集部と連通した真空分散部と、
前記液体捕集部と連通した水分分散部と、
外傷と前記液体捕集部との間に配置された外傷接触部と、
皮膚保護層と、
前記ハウジングによって外傷の周囲の皮膚を気密にするシールと、
前記ハウジング内の圧力を調整するための圧力コントローラと、
を備えたことを特徴とする外傷治療用装置。 - 陰圧を生成する真空源、及び陰圧の量を調整するための圧力コントローラを備えた真空源モジュールと、
外傷の少なくとも一部を覆うハウジング、前記ハウジング内に配置され、外傷と連通する多孔性の液体捕集部であって外傷の浸出液を保持するとともに、同時に前記真空源によって発生させられた陰圧を外傷部分に供給する液体捕集部、前記液体捕集部と前記真空源モジュールとの間に配置された液体バリア、及び外傷部分の周囲の表面を気密にするためのシールを備えた覆いモジュールと、
前記真空源モジュールを前記覆いモジュールと連通させた状態を維持し、前記真空源モジュールによって発生させられた陰圧を覆いモジュールに伝達する接続部と、
を備えたことを特徴とする外傷治療用装置。 - 外傷治療用装置を組み立てる方法であって、
陰圧を生成する真空源、及び陰圧の量を調整するための圧力コントローラを備えた真空源モジュールを用意するステップと、
外傷部分の少なくとも一部を覆うハウジング、前記ハウジング内に配置され、外傷部分と連通した多孔性の液体捕集部であって外傷の浸出液を保持するとともに同時に前記真空源モジュールによって発生させられた陰圧を外傷部分に供給する液体捕集部、前記液体捕集部と前記真空源モジュールとの間に配置された液体バリア、及び外傷部分の周囲の表面を気密にするためのシールを備えた覆いモジュールを用意するステップと、
前記真空源モジュールが前記覆いモジュールに陰圧を伝達するように前記真空源モジュールを前記覆いモジュールに対して固定するステップと、
を含む方法。
