Description
(i)約915MHz〜約2.45GHzの周波数範囲でマイクロ波エネルギーを提供する、マイクロ波アンテナに連結されるマイクロ波電源;

(vi)冷却流体を受容するように構成される、閉じているか又は少なくとも部分的に解放されている管腔を有するカテーテルに連結される冷却流体;
(vii)低温流体;
(viii)ac導電性ワイヤに連結される抵抗加熱源;
(ix)超音波放射器に連結される超音波電源、ここで、この超音波電源は、約300kHz〜約3GHzの範囲内の超音波エネルギーを発生する;
(x)及びこれらの組み合わせ。
Claims (14)
- 人体の内臓又は骨の中の腫瘍を処置するための外科用装置であって、
腫瘍組織に貫入するための貫入針アセンブリと、
前記針アセンブリに接続され、使用中に、前記針アセンブリの周囲の領域内の標的腫瘍組織を切除するように構成されるエネルギー伝達手段と、
使用中に、前記領域内にある前記標的腫瘍組織内に電気内部浸透を引き起こすように構成される少なくとも1つの陰極と、
前記陰極に接続され、前記領域においてRF切除を引き起こすように少なくとも5Wの電力を生成するように構成されるAC源と、
前記陰極に負の電位にバイアスをかけるように構成されるDC源と、
前記領域において前記標的腫瘍組織を切除するのと同時又は切除する前に前記電気内部浸透を引き起こす切替手段と、を備えることを特徴とする外科用装置。 - 前記患者の体内組織に挿入されるように構成される陽極をさらに備えることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の外科用装置。
- 前記陽極は針の形状であることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の外科用装置。
- 前記負の電位は、前記DC源の正極に対して9V〜12Vの範囲内にあることを特徴とする請求項1から請求項3までのいずれか1項に記載の外科用装置。
- 前記針アセンブリは、カニューレと、
前記カニューレ内に配置され、前記カニューレの遠位端から拡張可能であり、標的組織に貫入するように形作られる少なくとも1つの前記陰極とを備えることを特徴とする請求項1から請求項4までのいずれか1項に記載の外科用装置。 - 複数の電極が、前記カニューレ内に配置され、前記カニューレの前記遠位端から拡張可能であり、標的腫瘍組織内に貫入するように形作られ、使用中に、前記領域内にある標的腫瘍組織内に電気内部浸透を引き起こすように構成されることを特徴とする請求項5に記載の外科用装置。
- 前記電極は全て、使用中に、同じ極性でバイアスをかけられるように構成され、 前記装置は、前記患者の体で逆の極性の電気的接続を確立するための手段をさらに備えることを特徴とする請求項6に記載の外科用装置。
- 前記電極のうちの1つ又は複数は、1つの極性でバイアスをかけられるように構成され、
前記電極のうちの他の1つ又は複数は、逆の極性でバイアスをかけられるように構成されることを特徴とする請求項6に記載の外科用装置。 - 前記電極のうちの1つ又は複数の極性を選択的に入れ替えるための手段をさらに備えることを特徴とする請求項6から請求項8までのいずれか1項に記載の外科用装置。
- 前記針アセンブリは、導電性液体、又は細胞破壊物質、又はその前駆物質の供給源と連通する管腔を有し、前記導電性液体又は物質を前記標的腫瘍組織内に導入するように構成され、
前記陰極は、前記導電性液体又は物質と電気的に接触し、前記領域内にある標的組織内に電気内部浸透を引き起こすように構成されることを特徴とする請求項1から請求項5までのいずれか1項に記載の外科用装置。 - 前記針装置のさらなる管腔と連通し、前記標的組織から液体、固体又は気体の堆積物を抽出するように構成される抽出手段をさらに備えることを特徴とする請求項10に記載の外科用装置。
- 前記針アセンブリは、前記領域内で電気分解を引き起こすように構成され、
前記装置は、前記領域内で電気分解によって生成される気体を検出するように構成される超音波撮像手段をさらに備えることを特徴とする請求項1から請求項11までのいずれか1項に記載の外科用装置。 - 前記超音波撮像手段はドップラ超音波撮像装置であることを特徴とする請求項12に記載の外科用装置。
- 前記針アセンブリは、或る体積の腫瘍組織を取り囲むように展開可能であり、使用中に、前記取り囲まれた体積の周辺を選択的に切除するように構成される、拡張可能な電極アレイを備えることを特徴とする請求項1から請求項13までのいずれか1項に記載の外科用装置。
