Description
実施の形態1.
図1は、本実施の形態に係る外装シートの構造の一例を示す模式断面図である。ここで、外装シートAは、枚葉状又は帯状の形態をとることができる。外装シートAは、最外層となる基材層1の上に、金属層2、電池要素側に配置される最内層の熱接着性樹脂層3が順次積層された構造を有する。さらに、金属層2は、フッ素含有共重合体の硬化体からなる補強樹脂層23を介して積層された2枚のアルミニウム箔21,22からなり、その熱接着性樹脂層3側のアルミニウム箔22の表面に化成処理層24が形成されている。さらに、化成処理層24と熱接着性樹脂層3との間には接着層4が形成されている。すなわち、本実施の形態に係る外装シートは、最外層から、基材層/第1のアルミニウム箔/補強樹脂層/第2のアルミニウム箔/化成処理層/接着層/熱接着性樹脂層と積層された構造を有する。
本実施の形態に係る外装シートは、基材側のアルミニウム箔の表面にも化成処理層を設けた以外は実施の形態1と同様の構造を有する。図2は、本実施の形態に係る外装シートの構造の一例を示す模式断面図である。基材層1側のアルミニウム箔22の表面にも化成処理層25が形成されている。すなわち、本実施の形態に係る外装シートは、最外層から、基材層/化成処理層/第1のアルミニウム箔/補強樹脂層/第2のアルミニウム箔/化成処理層/接着層/熱接着性樹脂層と積層された構造を有する。

Claims (8)
- 金属層が樹脂層により挟持された積層体からなり電池要素を包装する電池用外装シートであって、
上記金属層が、2枚以上の金属箔と、該金属箔同士を接着する補強樹脂層とを有し、
該補強樹脂が、フッ素含有共重合体の硬化体からなる電池用外装シート。 - 上記金属層の厚さが、80〜150μmである請求項1記載の電池用外装シート。
- 上記金属箔が、少なくとも片面が化成処理されたアルミニウム箔である請求項1又は2に記載の電池用外装シート。
- 上記補強樹脂層が、水酸基を含有するフッ素含有共重合体と硬化剤とで形成されてなる請求項1から3のいずれか一つに記載の電池用外装シート。
- 上記フッ素含有共重合体が、一般式:CF2=CFX〔式中、Xはフッ素原子、水素原子ないしトリフルオロメチル基である〕で表されるフルオロオレフィン単量体と、一般式:CH2=CR(CH3)〔式中、Rは炭素数1〜8のアルキル基である〕で表されるβ−メチル置換α−オレフィン単量体と、一般式:CH2=CHR1〔式中、R1は−OR2ないし−CH2OR2(但し、R2は水酸基を有するアルキル基)である〕で表される水酸基含有単量体と、架橋性官能基を有さず、かつ、上記3種の単量体と共重合し得る他の単量体と、からなる共重合体である請求項4記載の電池用外装シート。
- 上記硬化剤が、有機ポリイソシアネート化合物である請求項4又は5に記載の電池用外装シート。
- 上記積層体が、少なくとも、順次積層された、基材層と、金属層と、熱接着性樹脂層と、からなる請求項1から6のいずれか一つに記載の電池用外装シート。
- 電池要素の正極と負極にそれぞれ接合された複数のリードを電池容器から突出させた状態で、電池容器を密封してなる電池であって、
上記電池容器を、少なくとも、最外層となる基材層と、金属層と、熱接着性樹脂層とが順次積層され、該金属層が2枚以上の金属箔と該金属箔同士を接着する補強樹脂層とを有し、該補強樹脂がフッ素含有共重合体の硬化体からなる枚葉状の積層体で構成し、該積層体を折り重ね、あるいは2つの該積層体を対向するように重ね合わせ、複数のリードを外部に取り出した状態で周縁部を熱融着してなる電池。
