図1は、従来技術でソフトウェアTCP/IP方法を用いるネットワーク通信装置を図解する説明図である。
図3は、本発明に係る埋め込み型システムのための高速データ処理機能を有する通信方法を図解する通信装置の概念図である。
Claims (1)
- ソフトウェアTCP/IPがホストインターフェースを介して実装されるOSに接続されたMAC処理通信装置を用いる通信方法であって、前記MAC処理通信装置が通信処理を行い、ハードウェアTCP/IP処理手段とソケット決定手段を含み、かつ、
データ送信時に、送信しようとするデータが予め設定されたハードウェア処理データである場合、アプリケーションインターフェースユニットがその送信データを前記OSを介することなしに前記ハードウェアTCP/IP処理手段に直接転送することを可能にするステップと、
前記ハードウェアTCP/IP処理手段が前記送信データのTCP/IPプロトコルを処理することを可能にするステップと、
送信しようとするデータが前記ハードウェア処理データではないが一般データである場合、前記OSが前記送信データのTCP/IPプロトコルをソフトウェア方式で処理することを可能にするステップと、
データ受信時に、前記ソケット決定手段が受信済みデータを予め設定されたハードウェア処理データであると判定する場合、前記ハードウェアTCP/IP処理手段がその受信済みデータのTCP/IPプロトコルを直接に処理し、その受信データをアプリケーションに直接インターフェースすることを可能にするステップと、
前記ソケット決定手段がその受信済みデータをハードウェア処理ポート番号のデータでないと判定する場合、前記OSがその受信済みデータのTCP/IPプロトコルをソフトウェア方式で処理することを可能にするステップと、
送受信済みデータが前記ハードウェア処理データであるか、またはソフトウェア処理データであるかが、TCP層プロトコルパケットヘッダのソースポート番号と宛先ポート番号に基づいて、送受信済みデータがハードウェアTCP/IP処理であるか、またはソフトウェアTCP/IP処理であるかに応じてリアルタイムで判定されるステップと を含む通信方法。
