Description
The present invention relates to a manufacturing method for manufacturing, for example, a cold tooth forging such as a multi-stage gear and a multi-stage tooth sprocket.
(1) A method of manufacturing two gears having different diameters, and joining them by press fitting or special welding (2) A method of manufacturing by cold forging (see Patent Document 1)
(3) A method in which powder is formed into a multi-stage gear and sintered.
However, in the method (1), a process for individually manufacturing two gears and a process for coupling them are required, which increases the number of processes and increases the manufacturing cost of the multi-stage gear. In the method (2), so-called thinning is likely to occur, and the accuracy is not sufficient. In the method (3), the strength of the multi-stage gear becomes insufficient.
This invention is made | formed in view of the above point, and it aims at providing the manufacturing method of the hollow tooth profile component which can manufacture a hollow tooth profile component with high intensity | strength easily and with high precision.
The present invention
A manufacturing method for manufacturing a hollow tooth-shaped part having a large diameter portion and a small diameter portion from a cylindrical material by cold forging, wherein the cold forging is applied to the entire inner periphery of the shaft hole of the cylindrical material . A first step of forming with the punch inserted, and after the first step, the first punch is once removed from the shaft hole to shrink the inner diameter of the shaft hole, and then the first punch Is inserted into the shaft hole again, and the second punch is inserted into the shaft hole from the side opposite to the first punch, and the insertion range is limited by interference with the shaft hole whose inner diameter is contracted. A gap is formed between the first punch and the second punch, and at least a part of the inner peripheral surface of the cylindrical material corresponding to the gap is the first punch and the second punch. Than the molding pressure in the first step A second step for molding the stomach molding pressure, a method of manufacturing a hollow tooth profile parts, characterized in that it comprises the gist.
In the present invention, in the second step of cold forging, at least a part of the inner peripheral surface of the cylindrical material is in a state not facing the punch. It escapes to the part which does not oppose that punch, and an excessive pressure is not applied to a metal mold | die. Therefore, by performing molding at a sufficient pressure in the second step, it is possible to manufacture a high-precision hollow tooth profile component without causing a lack of thickness.
Further, as described above, since excessive pressure is not applied to the mold, the mold is not damaged and the life of the mold can be extended.
In addition, according to the present invention, since a complicated process of separately creating a plurality of gears and bonding them is unnecessary, it is easy to manufacture a hollow tooth profile part, and the manufacturing cost can be reduced.
In addition, since the manufacturing method of the present invention uses cold forging, the strength of the hollow tooth profile component can be improved as compared with a method of manufacturing powder by sintering.
In each of the first step and the second step, the molding may be one of forward extrusion molding and upsetting molding.
The cylindrical material can be formed into a stepped cylindrical material as shown in FIG. 3, for example, by roughing with a cold forging machine. This makes it easier to manufacture hollow tooth components. The material of the cylindrical material is preferably steel containing carbon. The cylindrical material can be manufactured from, for example, a solid coil material or a cylindrical material that has been subjected to a known process for homogenizing the tissue.
"Of the inner peripheral surface of the cylindrical material, wherein at least a portion corresponding to the gap, the first punch and the state that does not face the second punch" Examples are, for example, as shown in FIG. 7, the cylindrical Although the
Examples of the hollow tooth profile include a multi-stage gear, a multi-stage tooth sprocket, and the like.

(1) Production of
(2) First Step of Cold Forging Next, the
Next, as shown in FIG. 2, the
As shown in FIG. 4, when the
When the
Next, as shown in FIG. 5, the
The
In addition, when the pressure in the above molding is increased, the material easily turns around the large-
(3) Second Step of Cold Forging Next, as shown in FIG. 7, the
When the
In the second step, the
After the completion of molding, the
FIG. 8 shows the

(3) According to the manufacturing method of the multi-stage gear of the present embodiment, the complicated process of making the two gears separately and bonding them is unnecessary, so that the multi-stage gear can be easily manufactured and the manufacturing cost can be reduced. Can be reduced.
(4) Since the manufacturing method of the multi-stage gear of this embodiment uses cold forging, the strength of the multi-stage gear can be improved as compared with the method of manufacturing by sintering powder.
In addition, this invention is not limited to the said embodiment at all, and it cannot be overemphasized that it can implement with a various aspect in the range which does not deviate from this invention.
