Claims (2)
- 溶融状態からシェル−モールド銅板間に流入して銅板に固着する過程で結晶を晶出する連続鋳造用モールドパウダー(A)にて連続鋳造を開始し、モールドパウダー(A)にてモールドと鋳片の界面に固着フィルム層を形成後、連続鋳造鋳型内での冷却条件による冷却過程では結晶を晶出しない連続鋳造用モールドパウダー(B)に切り替えて鋳造を継続することを特徴とする連続鋳造方法。
- 請求項1に記載した連続鋳造用モールドパウダーが、モールドパウダー(A)は、溶融スラグの化学組成のうち、総Ca量をCaO量に換算したT・CaO質量%とSiO2質量%の比(T・CaO)/(SiO2)の値が0.8〜2.0、フッ素含有量が3.5〜10質量%、1300℃における粘度が0.4〜3Pa・sであり、一方、モールドパウダー(B)は、溶融スラグの化学組成のうち、総Ca量をCaO量に換算したT・CaO質量%とSiO2質量%の比(T・CaO)/(SiO2)の値が0.25〜0.8、1300℃における粘度が0.2〜1.5Pa・sであることを特徴とする連続鋳造方法。
