Claims (15)
- 有底円筒状の電池ケースの底面を一方の電極端子とし、且つ前記電池ケースの開口端側に設けた封口体を他方の電極端子とした円筒形電池を複数個備え、これら円筒形電池を軸方向に直列配置または径方向に並置して、隣接する各2個の円筒形電池の異極電極端子を互いに電気的、且つ機械的に接続する電池間接続構造において、
前記電池ケースの円形端面内に包含される形状の溶接部とこの溶接部から延出する接続部とを一体に有する電池間接続板を備え、
前記電池ケースの一方の電極端子および他方の電極端子にそれぞれ、前記溶接部を溶接して前記電池間接続板が固着され、
隣接する各2個の円筒形電池にそれぞれ固着された前記電池間接続板の各々の前記接続部が互いに重ね合わせられて電気的接続状態に連結されていることを特徴とする電池間接続構造。 - 電池間接続板が、溶接部と接続部との境界に沿って段差部が設けられ、前記溶接部が半円弧状であって、かつ前記接続部に対し凹状に形成されている請求項1に記載の電池間接続構造。
- 電池ケースにおける開口端側のかしめ部が絶縁リングで被覆され、電池間接続板における段差部が、これの接続部側の外側面が前記絶縁リングの内側周面にほぼ合致する曲率半径を有する半円弧状を有し、且つ前記かしめ部の軸方向の端部と封口板の外面との段差よりも大きな高さを有する形状に形成されている請求項2に記載の電池間接続構造。
- 電池ケースの一方および他方の電極端子の何れにも同一形状の電池間接続板が固着されている請求項1ないし3の何れかに記載の電池間接続構造。
- 各円筒形電池の両電極端子にそれぞれ接続される一対の電池間接続板が、各々の接続部の前記円筒形電池からの突出方向がなす角度を任意に設定した相対配置で接続されている請求項1ないし4の何れかに記載の電池間接続構造。
- 電池間接続板の接続部が、溶接部の半円弧状の径よりも大きく、且つ電池ケースの直径未満の間隔で前記溶接部から互いに平行に延出する2つの側辺と、この両側辺に直交する端辺とで囲まれた形状に形成されている請求項2または3に記載の電池間接続構造。
- 電池間接続板の接続部における端辺の近傍の両端側箇所に一対の連結用孔が形成されている請求項6に記載の電池間接続構造。
- 隣接する2枚の電池間接続板が、各々の接続部がこれらの連結用孔を合致させた相対位置で互いに重ね合わされて、前記合致した連結用孔を介してボルトとナットとを螺合締結することにより電気的に接続されている請求項7に記載の電池間接続構造。
- 隣接する2枚の電池間接続板における互いに重ね合わされる接続部のうちの一方に、連結用孔に合致した配置でナットが溶接により予め固着されている請求項8に記載の電池間接続構造。
- ボルトとナットが黄銅製である請求項8または9に記載の電池間接続構造。
- 電池間接続板の接続部における一対の連結用孔の間の箇所にスリットが形成されている請求項7ないし10の何れかに記載の電池間接続構造。
- 電池間接続板の溶接部に、円筒形電池の電極端子に対する溶接用のプロジェクションが複数設けられ、且つ隣接する2個の前記プロジェクションの間にスリットが形成されている請求項1ないし11の何れかに記載の電池間接続構造。
- 電池間接続板は、鉄、銅、黄銅のいずれかの少なくとも片面にニッケルを表面加工した素材、或いはニッケル、鉄、銅、黄銅のいずれかを素材として形成されている請求項1ないし12の何れかに記載の電池間接続構造。
- 隣接する2枚の電池間接続板が、互いに連結されたのちに絶縁塗料で被覆されている請求項1ないし13の何れかに記載の電池間接続構造。
- 絶縁塗料として遠赤塗料が用いられている請求項14に記載の電池間接続構造。
