Claims (2)
- 印刷システムにおけるカラー印刷ジョブのマッチングのためのシステムであって、
複数の画像マーキングエンジンと、
前記複数の画像マーキングエンジンのそれぞれによって印刷されるカラー校正画像とを含み、
複数の前記カラー校正画像は媒体文書の同じ面上に印刷され、前記カラー校正画像のそれは前記媒体文書の前記同じ面上に印刷される前記カラー校正画像の数を最大にするように前記媒体文書上に配置されており、
複数の前記校正画像は校正されたカラー分光光度計により走査され、複数の前記マーキングエンジンの各々は全ての出力が所定のウィンドウ内に存在するように補正され、
前記カラー校正画像は各々、ジョブ属性を含むエンコードされたデータグリフと一連のカラー参照パッチを含み、
前記データグリフのジョブ属性は、前記画像マーキングエンジンの印刷設定に依存し、少なくとも、画像設定、ゼログラフ設定、レンダリングオプションを含むグループから選択される、
ことを特徴とするシステム。 - 印刷システムにおけるカラー印刷ジョブのマッチングのための方法であって、
媒体シート上に第1の画像マーキングエンジンからの第1のカラー校正画像を印刷し、
前記媒体シートを第2の画像マーキングエンジンに移動させ、前記媒体シートの同じ面上に第2のカラー校正画像を印刷し、
印刷システムにおける全ての画像マーキングエンジンが前記媒体シート上にカラー校正画像を印刷するまで、又は、前記媒体シートが別のカラー校正画像に対応できなくなるまで、上述のステップを繰り返すことを含み、
前記カラー校正画像の各々は、ジョブ属性を含むエンコードされたデータグリフと一連の参照パッチを含み、
前記ジョブ属性は、前記画像マーキングエンジンの印刷設定に依存しており、
更に、前記カラー校正画像を走査し、
前記参照パッチを補償し、
所定のウィンドウ内に存在するように前記カラー印刷ジョブの実行に応じて前記参照パッチを補償し、
前記データグリフと前記参照パッチからセットアップデータを生成する、ことを含み、
前記セットアップデータは、前記画像マーキングエンジンの各々に対するカラー補正テーブル、並びに、所望のセットアップデータを校正して更新するための情報を含んでいる、
ことを特徴とする方法。
