Description
02)面からの半値幅が0.3°以下(0°を除く)であることを特徴とするものである。
炭化硼素粉末としてFeを0.2質量%含有するD50=0.65μm、D90=1.40μmの粉末(D90/D50=2.2)と、焼結助剤として表1に示す組成の粉末を準備し、窒化硼素質の粉砕用メディアと共に回転ミルに投入してアセトン中で12時間混合し、スラリーを作製した。得られたスラリーを目開き#200のナイロン製メッシュに通して粗大なゴミ等を除去後、120℃で乾燥後、目開き#40のナイロン製メッシュで整粒して、混合粉体を作製した。

Claims (4)
- 炭化硼素を主成分とし、グラファイトおよび炭化珪素を含む炭化硼素質焼結体からなり、前記グラファイトは、炭化硼素質焼結体100質量%に対して1質量%以上、10質量%以下、前記炭化珪素は、炭化硼素質焼結体100質量%に対して0.5質量%以上、5質量%以下であることを特徴とする防護部材。
- 前記グラファイトは、X線回折法を用いた測定による(002)面からの半値幅が0.3°以下(0°を除く)であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の防護部材。
- 前記炭化硼素質焼結体に、酸化ジルコニウムを含んでいることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の防護部材。
- 上面および下面とこれらの周縁部に沿った側周面とによって囲まれる形状からなり、前記上面および下面の少なくとも一方が外方に向かって凸状の曲面を備えたことを特徴とする請求項1乃至3の何れかに記載の防護部材。
