Description
前記第1、第2および第3の光電変換特性を基準光電変換特性に変換する特性変換部を備え、
前記特性変換部は、前記撮像素子のフレームレートが変化され、該撮像素子の蓄積時間が通常時の1/10以下となり、前記過渡的な特性を示す第3の光電変換特性の領域が所定以上に広がった場合に、該第3の光電変換特性を基準光電変換特性に変換することを特徴とする撮像装置。

Claims (7)
- 第1の光電変換特性と、前記第1の光電変換特性とは異なる第2の光電変換特性と、前記第1と第2の光電変換特性との過渡的な特性を示す第3の光電変換特性とを有する撮像素子を備えた撮像装置において、
前記第1、第2および第3の光電変換特性を基準光電変換特性に変換する特性変換部を備え、
前記特性変換部は、前記撮像素子のフレームレートが変化され、該撮像素子の蓄積時間が通常時の1/10以下となり、前記過渡的な特性を示す第3の光電変換特性の領域が所定以上に広がった場合に、該第3の光電変換特性を基準光電変換特性に変換することを特徴とする撮像装置。 - 前記第1の光電変換特性は線形特性で、前記第2の光電変換特性は対数特性であり、前記基準光電変換特性は線形特性であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の撮像装置。
- 前記第1の光電変換特性は線形特性で、前記第2の光電変換特性は対数特性であり、前記基準光電変換特性は対数特性であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の撮像装置。
- 前記撮像装置が備える特性変換部は、前記第1および第2の光電変換特性を前記基準光電変換特性に変換する方法とは異なった方法で、前記撮像装置が備える第3の光電変換特性を前記基準光電変換特性に変換することを特徴とする請求項1乃至3の何れか1項に記載の撮像装置。
- 前記撮像装置が備える特性変換部は、前記撮像装置が備える第3の光電変換特性を、切り替わり点を境に前記第1または第2の光電変換特性の何れかと見なして前記基準光電変換特性に変換することを特徴とする請求項1乃至3の何れか1項に記載の撮像装置。
- 前記切り替わり点は、前記第1および第2の光電変換特性の延長線の交点であることを特徴とする請求項5に記載の撮像装置。
- 前記撮像装置が備える特性変換部は、メモリを含むルックアップテーブルから成ることを特徴とする請求項1乃至6の何れか1項に記載の撮像装置。
