Description
以下、下流側酸素センサ127の異常判定処理について詳細に説明する。
既述の実施の形態においては、燃料カット開始前の吸入空気量の低下時としてアイドルオフ状態からアイドルオン状態に遷移する時を採用してST2〜ST5の処理を行っているが、燃料カット開始前に吸入空気量が予め設定された閾値を下回った時を、燃料カット開始前の吸入空気量又は排気量の低下時としてもよい。

Claims (3)
- 排気通路に設けられた触媒と、
前記排気通路の前記触媒の下流側に設けられた酸素センサと、
燃料カットの開始前の吸入空気量又は排気量の低下時から燃料カットの開始時までの前記酸素センサの出力値の低下量を取得する出力低下量取得手段と、
前記出力低下量取得手段により取得された前記低下量が予め設定された基準低下量より小さいか否かを判定する第1判定手段と、
前記燃料カットの開始後に、前記酸素センサの出力値がリッチ側からリーン側へ変化する変化の度合いが予め設定された設定変化度合いより緩やかであるか否かを判定する第2判定手段と、
前記第1判定手段によって肯定判定がなされ、前記第2判定手段によっても肯定判定がなされた場合に、前記酸素センサを異常と判定する第3判定手段と、
を備え、
前記第3判定手段は、前記第1判定手段によって否定判定がなされ、且つ、前記第2判定手段によって肯定判定がなされた場合、前記酸素センサを異常と判定することなく、次回の燃料カットの開始後に再判定を行うと共に、前記第1判定手段による否定判定および前記第2判定手段による肯定判定が、予め設定された設定回数だけ連続してなされた場合にも、前記酸素センサを異常と判定する、
ことを特徴とする酸素センサの異常判定装置。 - 請求項1に記載の酸素センサの異常判定装置において、
燃料カットの開始前の吸入空気量又は排気量の低下時を内燃機関がアイドルオフ状態からアイドルオン状態に遷移する時とした、
ことを特徴する酸素センサの異常判定装置。 - 請求項1又は2に記載の酸素センサの異常判定装置において、
前記第2判定手段は、燃料カットの開始後に、前記酸素センサの出力値が第1基準値からこの第1基準値よりリーン側の第2基準値へ変化するのに要した応答時間が予め設定された基準応答時間より長いか否かを判定するものである、
ことを特徴とする酸素センサの異常判定装置。
