Description
The present invention relates to an inkjet ink for printing, a recording method, and a recorded matter for inkjet printing.
An ink jet image printing method is a method in which a minute droplet of ink is ejected and attached to a target medium for printing. The ink jet system is advantageous in that its mechanism is relatively simple and inexpensive, and can form high-definition and high-quality images.
Utilizing the advantages of this ink jet system, printing on fabrics, so-called ink jet textile printing, has also been developed. Unlike conventional textile printing, ink jet textile printing does not require the creation of a plate and can quickly form an image with excellent gradation. Further, since only an amount of ink necessary for an image is required, the image forming method is excellent in terms of environment such as a small amount of waste liquid.
In the field of textile printing, an inkjet textile printing method is desired for shortening the delivery time and dealing with small-quantity, multi-product production. There are various types of ink-jet recording methods, but the on-demand type recording methods that have become mainstream in recent years are the so-called piezo method (piezoelectric element method) using a piezo element and the thermal jet method (bubble jet (registered trademark) method). are categorized.
As an ink used in such a system, there is an ultraviolet curable ink (hereinafter referred to as a UV curable ink). In this method, the ink is applied to the fabric and then immediately irradiated with ultraviolet rays to cure the ink, and the fabric and the coloring material. Are to be bonded.
Patent Document 1 discloses a method in which an ink containing a pigment, a dispersant, and a radiation-curable binder is applied to a cotton fabric and cured photochemically. In this case, since the UV curable compound in the ink remains on the fabric after being washed, the texture is not smooth.
Furthermore, conventional UV curable compounds have skin irritation. Since the cured product remains on the fabric, an unreacted cured compound also remains, and when the residual amount is large, the fabric has skin irritation.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION The present invention has been made in view of the above problems, and its purpose is to suppress the occurrence of ink bleeding, maintain the original texture of the fabric while performing sharp printing, and has a low skin irritation. It is to provide a high-quality printing method .

According to the present invention, by using an inkjet ink for textile printing and a recording method using the same, the occurrence of ink bleeding can be suppressed, and the original texture of the fabric can be maintained while performing sharp printing. Records with high safety can be provided.
In addition, since a polymerizable water-soluble compound is used, the components can be washed away by washing, and a fabric with less skin irritation can be provided.
Hereinafter, the best mode for carrying out the present invention will be described in detail. The present invention is not limited to these.
The role of the polymerizable water-soluble compound according to the present invention is not a color material fixing means, but a role as temporary fixing, and finally the polymerizable compound is removed. The term “temporary stop” as used herein refers to a water-soluble compound that can be polymerized until the color is developed, and the viscosity of the ink is increased to suppress bleeding of the color material. After the color is developed, only the color material is fixed to the fabric to remove the polymerizable compound. That is, it does not mean that the coloring material is finally fixed with a polymerizable compound polymerized by external energy ray irradiation.
By containing a water-soluble compound that is polymerized by external energy ray irradiation in the ink, the viscosity is rapidly increased by the external energy ray irradiation, and feathering is suppressed.
The external energy ray used in the present invention is not particularly limited such as electron beam (EB), ultraviolet ray (UV), infrared ray (IR), etc., but as a light source of active light that can be used in the present invention, a wavelength of 180 A light source that generates ultraviolet light or visible light having a wavelength of ˜500 nm is effective. For example, low pressure mercury lamp, high pressure mercury lamp, ultra high pressure mercury lamp, metal halide lamp, chemical lamp, black light lamp, mercury-xenon lamp, excimer lamp, short arc lamp, helium cadmium laser, argon laser, excimer laser, sunlight Is mentioned. Ultraviolet rays are highly versatile and easy to operate.
In the present invention, the irradiation with ultraviolet rays is preferably a light source having a peak illuminance of 1 to 500 mw / cm 2 at the absorption wavelength of the ink. Such a light source is sufficient for performing a curing reaction, is relatively inexpensive, can use a small ultraviolet irradiation device, and is advantageous in terms of cost.
Since the polymerizable compound is preferably water-soluble, the polymerizable compound present in the ink is selected to be water-soluble. This is because textiles printed and printed are processed into clothing, sundries, and the like, so there are many opportunities to come into direct contact with the skin, so that a polymerizable compound having skin irritation must not remain on the cloth. Since the present invention selects a water-soluble compound that can be polymerized, first, the skin irritation is reduced and the ink handling is facilitated, thereby reducing the risk to the operator. Secondly, since it is water-soluble, excess polymerizable compounds are washed away after washing with water, so that the fabric is not irritating to the skin. Thereby, in addition to the low irritation of the polymerizable compound itself, the polymerizable compound is washed off at the time of washing with water, so that a fabric having a good texture can be created without causing any harm to the user and without being stiff. it can.

In addition, (meth) acrylic acid ester of polyhydric alcohol, (meth) acrylic acid ester of glycidyl ether of polyhydric alcohol, (meth) acrylic acid ester of polyethylene glycol, (meth) acrylic acid ester of polyhydric alcohol ethylene oxide addition compound Known ultraviolet curable monomers and oligomers such as a reaction product of a polybasic acid anhydride and a hydroxyl group-containing (meth) acrylic acid ester are used. Among the polymerizable water-soluble compounds, it is preferable to use a water-soluble oligomer. Since the molecular weight is larger than that of the monomer, if the polymerization efficiency is the same, the oligomer has a sharper increase in viscosity after irradiation with external energy rays, and further, the effect of stopping feathering is further increased. Moreover, since the molecular weight is larger than that of the monomer and bulky, it is difficult to penetrate into the skin, so that the skin irritation is also lowered.

Formalin condensate of sodium, formalin condensate of sodium phenolsulfonate, formalin condensate of sodium β-naphtholsulfonate, formalin condensate of sodium β-naphthalenesulfonate (eg, demole N) and sodium naphtholsulfonate, lignin Examples thereof include sulfonates (for example, Vanillex RN), sodium paraffin sulfonate (for example, Efcol 214), copolymers of α-olefin and maleic anhydride (for example, Floren G-700), and the like. Sulfonic acid salts are preferred.
The amount of the dispersant used during dispersion is preferably 20 to 200% by mass with respect to the disperse dye. When the amount of the dispersant is small, the formation of fine particles and the dispersion stability are poor. These dispersants may be used alone or in combination.
Depending on the structure of the disperse dye used, foaming or gelation may occur during dispersion, resulting in poor fluidity. In addition to the ability to form fine particles and dispersion stability, foaming during dispersion and gelation of the dispersion It is necessary to select in consideration of the fluidity of the dispersion. An antifoaming agent may be added to improve foaming during dispersion. In addition, the dispersant can affect the dyeability, dyeing rate, leveling property, transferability, color tone, fastness, etc. of the fabric, and tar of the dispersant or wetting agent when coloring at high temperatures. It is preferable to select in consideration of the fact that the dyeing becomes non-uniform due to the conversion.
Since there is no dispersant that satisfies all of the above requirements, it is necessary to select an optimal dispersant according to the dye to be dispersed and add an antifoaming agent or the like as necessary. In addition, a dispersing agent may be added after ink formation. The dispersing agent at that time is preferably the same as that at the time of dispersion, but may be used separately or in combination.
Dispersion ink for inkjet is obtained by dispersing disperse dyes in an aqueous dispersion medium at a high concentration by a conventionally known dispersion apparatus such as a ball mill, a sand mill, a roll mill, a speed line mill, a homomixer, a sand grinder, a line mill, and a high pressure homogenizer. It can be manufactured by diluting the liquid about 1 to 10 times, adding various additives, converting it to ink, degassing, and filtering.
The particle size of the disperse dye is preferably 300 nm or less as the average particle size and 900 nm or less as the maximum particle size. This is because when the average particle size and the maximum particle size are large, clogging is likely to occur in an ink jet printing method in which light is emitted from a fine nozzle, and stable emission is not possible.
The average particle diameter can be determined by a commercially available particle size measuring instrument using a light scattering method, an electrophoresis method, a laser Doppler method or the like. Specific examples of the particle diameter measuring apparatus include Zetar Sizer 1000 manufactured by Malvern.
The material constituting the fabric used for the disperse dye ink is not particularly limited as long as it contains fibers that can be dyed with disperse dyes. Among them, a fabric mainly composed of fibers such as polyester, acetate, and triacetate. Is preferred. Fibers mainly composed of polyester fibers may be made into any form such as woven fabric, knitted fabric, and non-woven fabric. The fabric is preferably 100% polyester fiber, but a blended woven fabric or a blended non-woven fabric with rayon, silk, polyurethane, acrylic, nylon, wool, or the like can also be used. Further, the thickness of the yarn constituting the fabric as described above is preferably in the range of 10 to 100d.
In the textile printing method of the present invention, after forming an image by the ink jet recording method on the fabric containing the fiber that can be dyed with the disperse dye as described above (ink application) Step), the fabric to which the ink is applied is heat-treated (heat treatment step), and further, the fabric subjected to the heat treatment is washed (washing step), whereby the printing on the fabric is completed and a printed matter is obtained. In the textile printing method of the present invention, the disperse dye is fixed to the fiber by a method of heat-treating a fabric to which ink is applied. Furthermore, as a method for removing unfixed dye from the fabric, a conventionally known cleaning method can be used, but it is particularly preferable to use a reduction cleaning.
In the ink jet textile printing method for printing on a cloth, it is desirable to wind up the printed cloth after emitting the ink, develop a color by heating, and wash and dry the cloth. In ink-jet textile printing, ink is printed on a cloth and simply left unattended, it does not dye well. In addition, when printing on a long fabric for a long time, the fabric comes out endlessly, and the printed fabric overlaps the floor or the like, and it is unsafe and unexpectedly dirty. There is a case. Therefore, it is necessary to perform a winding operation after printing. During this operation, a medium not related to printing, such as paper, cloth, or vinyl, may be sandwiched between the cloths. However, it is not always necessary to wind up when cutting in the middle or short fabric.
The printed fabric may be immediately heat-treated or may be heat-treated after a while, and may be dried and colored according to the intended use. As the heat treatment method, a method suitable for the application, such as an oven, a heat roll, or steam, may be selected.
Cleaning is necessary after heat treatment. In the present invention, washing with water is essential in order to remove unreacted water-soluble polymerizable compounds and polymerization compounds that are no longer needed. Moreover, it is because the dye stability which does not participate in dyeing remains, the color stability is deteriorated, and the fastness is lowered. It is also necessary to remove the pretreatment product applied to the fabric. If left as it is, the fabric is dyed as well as a decrease in fastness. Therefore, cleaning according to the object to be removed and the purpose is necessary.
Drying is required after washing. After the washed fabric is squeezed or dehydrated, it is dried or dried using a dryer, heat roll, iron or the like.
In addition, in order to obtain a uniform dyed product, natural impurities (oils, waxes, pectin, natural pigments, etc.) adhering to the fabric fibers, residues of the chemicals used in the fabric manufacturing process (such as glue), dirt, etc. It is desirable to wash it. As cleaning agents used for cleaning, alkalis such as sodium hydroxide and sodium carbonate, surfactants such as anionic surfactants and nonionic surfactants, enzymes and the like are used.
