Description

The present invention relates to a multi-chamber branching pouch having a component replenishment port that allows the concentration of two or more components stored separately to be mixed and poured out during use.

Conventionally, medical infusion and its solution, powder preparation for injection and its solution, seasoning, mixed adhesive, etc. Proposed as a pouch that can be easily mixed without adjusting the mixing ratio at the time of use, and that prevents the entry of foreign substances from the outside. Has been. (For example, see Patent Documents 1 and 2)
However, in these pouches, the concentration cannot be adjusted in the pouch after the contents are mixed by communicating a plurality of storage chambers.

Therefore, in the case of concentrated liquid foods and enteral nutrients that require high concentration adjustment, a pouch with a replenishment port for adding moisture etc. is proposed in addition to the content spout to adjust the concentration. (See Patent Document 3). This uses a spout with a large diameter separate from the pouch, and is bulky even before the contents are filled, resulting in an increase in manufacturing cost and transportation cost.
JP 2001-245633 A

In order to solve such a problem, a pouch provided with a fastener at a supply port for adding a dilution component or the like has also been proposed (see Patent Documents 4 and 5).
JP 2000-217886 A JP 2004-284606 A

However, if the technique described in Patent Documents 4 and 5 is applied to a pouch that is partitioned by a partitioning means capable of communicating with a plurality of storage chambers described in Patent Documents 1 and 2, the components stored in each storage chamber A wide filling port cannot be secured, and it is difficult to efficiently fill the product, resulting in an increase in production cost.

Therefore, the present invention solves these problems of the prior art, and is not bulky before filling the contents, and can ensure a wide filling port for each storage chamber at the time of filling, and can be stored separately. Another object of the present invention is to provide a multi-chamber branch pouch having a replenishing port that can easily adjust the concentration of components when mixing and dispensing the components.

The multi-layer film used for the pouch surface material 21, the pouch back material 22 and the branch chamber surface material 23 constituting this pouch has a biaxial superior mechanical properties such as tensile strength, impact strength, and pinhole resistance as an outer layer. A base material layer using a stretched film, a barrier layer having a light shielding property and a gas barrier property as an intermediate layer, and a multilayer film having a heat-sealable thermoplastic resin layer as an inner layer may be used. Moreover, you may use what gave the barrier layer to the biaxially stretched film itself which comprises an outer layer. As such a barrier layer, it is preferable to use a resin layer having an inorganic film layer such as a metal foil layer such as aluminum or a vapor-deposited film of metal oxide such as aluminum oxide or silicon oxide.

Moreover, as resin used for the base material layer which comprises an outer layer, or the heat-sealable thermoplastic resin layer which comprises an inner layer, well-known low density polyethylene, linear low density polyethylene, medium density polyethylene, high density polyethylene, polypropylene, for example , Propylene-ethylene copolymer, ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer, ethylene-acrylic acid copolymer, ethylene-methacrylic acid copolymer, olefin resin graft-modified with ethylenically unsaturated carboxylic acid or its anhydride, etc. Olefin-based resins, polyamides or copolyamide resins having a relatively low melting point or a low softening point, polyesters or copolyester resins, and blends thereof can be used.
In general, it is preferable to use polyester or polyamide (nylon) as the outer layer and polyolefin resin, particularly linear low density polyethylene or polypropylene resin as the inner layer.

Further, as a multilayer film constituting at least one of the pouch surface material 21 or the pouch back surface material (in this example, the pouch surface material 21), an aluminum foil or a metal oxide vapor deposition film that can be manually peeled off from an outer layer or an intermediate layer of the film. A multilayer film having such a light-shielding property and gas barrier property including an inorganic film layer and allowing the inside of the pouch to be seen through after the barrier layer is peeled off is used. When such a film is used, the contents can be confirmed when the partition part 4 of the pouch main body 1 and the branch chamber 2 are peeled and communicated, and the dispensing situation can be easily grasped visually. It becomes possible.

As such a peelable multilayer film, a commercially available product can be used, and examples thereof include “Alere (trade name)” manufactured by Toyo Aluminum.
As such a film, as shown in FIG. 5, a film in which transparent windows 15, 15 are partially provided on the film constituting the inner layer of the barrier layer is used. Such a fluoroscopic window may be provided with scales 16 and 16 so as to grasp the state of the contents being poured out.

The pouch filling procedure and the contents dispensing procedure will be described below by taking as an example the case where the enteral nutrient is filled in the branch chamber 2 of the pouch and the diluent is filled in the pouch body 1.
First, after the diluent is filled into the pouch body 1 from the filling port 14 at the top of the unsealed pouch, the filling port 14 is heat-sealed. Next, enteral nutrients are filled into the branch chamber 2 from a spout 3 provided at the tip of the branch chamber 2, and sealed with a screw cap (not shown) (see FIG. 3). The order of filling the diluent and enteral nutrient may be reversed.

In order to pour out the contents of the pouch, first, as shown in FIG. 4, the pouch branch 2 and the pouch body 1 are arranged in the horizontal direction, and the gas barrier layer constituting the outer layer of the pouch surface material 21 is manually peeled off. To do. Next, the pouch main body 1 is pressed in the vertical direction by hand (the white arrow in FIG. 4), and the diluent stored in the pouch main body 1 by separating the partition 4 and the enteral nutrient stored in the branch chamber 2 are used. Mix. Then, the pouch is turned upside down, the hook 17 is passed through the hanging hole 10, the screw cap of the spout 3 is opened, and the mixed and diluted enteral nutrient is poured out. For spout 3, a plastic plug body integrally molded, a plastic plug body combined with an elastic body such as rubber, a plastic plug body sealed with a heat seal lid, etc. are applied, and enteral nutrition is administered. It may be possible to insert an introduction needle that connects to the patient receiving.

The state of administration of the enteral nutrient can be easily confirmed through the fluoroscopic windows 15 and 15 provided in the pouch body 1. And when it is necessary to adjust the concentration during the administration of enteral nutrient, the pouch is manually opened from the notch 8 provided in the elongated part 6 of the pouch body 1 along the easy-opening part and replenished. After the opening 7 is formed and the linear fastener 9 is opened and the diluent or enteral nutrient is supplied from the supply opening 7, the linear fastener 9 is closed and the pouch is sealed.

The size of the replenishing port 7 can be arbitrarily selected, but the width of the extending portion provided at the other end of the pouch body is W, and the height from the pouch body to the replenishing port 7 provided at the extending portion is h. Sometimes (see FIG. 1), when 30 mm ≦ W ≦ 120 mm, preferably 40 mm ≦ W ≦ 110 mm, and 5 mm ≦ h ≦ 40 mm, preferably 10 mm ≦ h ≦ 30 mm, the replenishing port 7 is pinched with a finger. It is preferable because the operation of replenishing the diluent or enteral nutrient becomes easy.
