以下の実施例において、省略記号および物質が使用される:
SR−259=ポリエチレングリコール(200)ジアクリレート、Sartomer Co.から入手
CD−501=プロポキシル化(6)トリメチロールプロパントリアクリレート、Sartomer Co.から入手
SR−306HP=トリプロピレングリコールジアクリレート、Sartomer Co.から入手
Morcure(商標)2000=ジグリシジルエーテルビスフェノール−Aのジアクリレート、Rohm and Haas Co.から入手
EB−8402=ウレタンジアクリレート、UCB Co.から入手
SR−9003=プロポキシル化(2)ネオペンチルグリコールジアクリレート、Sartomer Co.から入手
SR−610=ポリエチレングリコール(600)ジアクリレート、Sartomer Co.から入手
IRR−214=環状脂肪族ジアクリレート、UCB Co.から入手
GF−19=高滑度の低密度ポリエチレンフィルム、厚み0.025mm(1mil)
PET=コロナ処理されたポリエチレンテレフタレート、92ゲージ
OPP=コロナ処理された延伸ポリプロピレン、厚み0.025mm(1mil)
Alホイル=アルミニウムホイル、厚み0.025mm(1mil)
LLDPE=直鎖状の低密度ポリエチレンフィルム、厚み0.05mm(2mil)
金属化OPP=金属化された延伸ポリプロピレン、厚み0.025mm(1mil)
実施例1の接着剤を92ゲージのPETフィルム(Dupont 92 LBT Mylar(商標))にPolytype labのコーター/ラミネーターを使用して20フィート/分でコーティングした。接着剤の被膜重量は1.5〜2ポンド/フィルム リームであった。
30〜40cm2の積層されたフィルムのサンプルを切り出し、2枚のフィルムを分離した。これら2枚の別々のフィルムを円筒状に巻き上げ、1.5ml用のバイアルに挿入した。10mlの重クロロホルム当たり0.6μlの酢酸を含有する0.9mlの重クロロホルムをバイアルに加えた。(酢酸は、分析中における接着剤の継続的な硬化を抑制するために加えられた)。バイアルにキャップをし、5分間振盪した後、液体をNMRチューブにピペッティングした。
T−ピール試験において、熱硬化性組成物の層が第一のフィルムに適用される。熱硬化性組成物中に存在する任意の溶媒または他の揮発性化合物は、層の適用前、適用中、または適用後に実質的に取り除かれる。次いで、第二のフィルム(第一のフィルムと同じ物質のフィルム、または第一のフィルムとは異なる物質のフィルム)が熱硬化性組成物の層と接触させられ、このようにして形成されたラミネートがニップローラー間でプレスされる。
3種類の熱硬化性組成物を以下のように調製した:トリメチロールプロパントリス(アセトアセトネート)、Morecure 2000、Sartomer SR−259および水中における70%酢酸カリウムを、表1で特定されている割合で、手操作により激しく混ぜ合わせた。
実施例1の組成物を35℃で平衡化し、Brookfield LVDVI粘度計を使用して組成物の粘度をモニタリングした。スピンドル25を100rpmで使用した。組成物の初期粘度および粘度二倍時間(ポットライフ)が以下の表に与えられている。
白色インクのサンプル(Color Converting Industriesから入手したF−11白、53.1%の固形分)を振盪し、任意の沈降物を再懸濁させた。インク固形分量に基づき3%の酢酸カリウムを与えるべく、インクのサンプルに、n−プロピルアルコール中における6%酢酸カリウムの溶液を加えた。オリジナルインクのアリコートおよび3%の酢酸カリウムを有するインクを92ゲージのPETフィルム(Dupont 92LBT Mylar(商標))上に#4の巻線ロッドを使用してコーティングした後、強制エアーオーブン内において60℃で4分間乾燥させた。
青色インクのサンプル(Color Converting Industriesから入手したF−11シアンブルー、29.3%の固形分)を振盪し、任意の沈降物を再懸濁させた。混合インクのサンプルに、インク固形分量に基づき4%のレベルで酸捕捉剤としてのトリエタノールアミンを加えた。処理されたインクおよび非修飾のインクを92ゲージのPETフィルム(Dupont 92LBT Mylar(商標))に#2.5の巻線ロッドを使用してコーティングした後、強制エアーオーブン内において60℃で4分間乾燥させた。
水中における10%水酸化カリウム触媒の溶液を調製した。5mlの触媒溶液を5”×10”のクラフト紙シート上にピペッティングした後、#4の巻線ロッドを使用して拡げた。シートを強制エアーオーブン内において60℃で10分間乾燥させた。
Rhoplex ASE−95アルカリ可溶性エマルジョンを5%の固形分量にまで希釈した後、45%水酸化カリウム溶液でpH13に中和した。中和されたポリマーは、高分子弱塩基性触媒であると考えられる。
ガラス片(Kodak Projector Slide Cover Glass、3.25”×4”、カタログ番号140 2130)を石鹸水で洗い、DI水ですすいだ後、60℃で10分間乾燥させた。
Claims (6)
- (1)基体の表面上に少なくとも1つの反応促進剤が存在する基体を提供する工程であって、前記基体の表面上の前記反応促進剤が、炭素ベースのマイケル付加を触媒する化合物、炭素ベースのマイケル付加を触媒補助する化合物、炭素ベースのマイケル付加の阻害を克服するための酸捕捉剤として作用する化合物、またはこれらの組合せであり、前記基体が、前記反応促進剤が存在しないとマイケル硬化される熱硬化性組成物を実質的に阻害する基体である工程;
(2)前記基体を硬化性組成物と接触させる工程であって、
前記硬化性組成物が、
(a)
(b)それぞれが下記構造(II)を有する2以上の官能基を有する、少なくとも1つの化合物、
(c)任意に、少なくとも1つの反応促進剤であって、炭素ベースのマイケル付加を触媒する化合物、炭素ベースのマイケル付加を触媒補助する化合物、炭素ベースのマイケル付加の阻害を克服するための酸捕捉剤として作用する化合物、またはこれらの組合せである反応促進剤;
を含む工程;並びに、
(3)前記硬化性組成物を硬化させる工程;
を含む、硬化性組成物を用いて調製される物品を提供する方法。 - 前記の接触させる工程より前にプライマーもしくはインクが前記基体の表面上に存在し並びに、前記基体の表面上に存在する反応促進剤がプライマーもしくはインクに含まれているか、もしくはその代わりにプライマーもしくはインクが本来的に反応促進剤である、請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記方法が、少なくとも1つの更なる基体を前記硬化性組成物に接触させる更なる工程を含み、前記更なる基体のそれぞれは、その表面上に反応促進剤を有していても有していなくてもよく、及び表面上に反応促進剤を有する前記基体の少なくとも1つが、該反応促進剤が存在しないとマイケル硬化される熱硬化性組成物を実質的に阻害する基体である、請求項1記載の方法により作られたラミネート。
- 前記の接触させる工程より前にプライマーもしくはインクが前記基体の表面上に存在し並びに、前記基体の表面上に存在する反応促進剤がプライマーもしくはインクに含まれているか、もしくはその代わりにプライマーもしくはインクが本来的に反応促進剤である、請求項3記載のラミネート。
- 前記基体が、前記反応促進剤が存在しないとマイケル硬化される熱硬化性組成物を実質的に阻害する基体である請求項1の方法により作られた物品。
- 前記の接触させる工程より前にプライマーもしくはインクが前記基体の表面上に存在し並びに、前記基体の表面上に存在する反応促進剤がプライマーもしくはインクに含まれているか、もしくはその代わりにプライマーもしくはインクが本来的に反応促進剤である、請求項5記載の物品。
