Description
反応室にポンプで窒素を送る。重合反応器は約550psi〜約1800psiの圧力に加圧されていることを思い起こして、窒素ブランケットはこの圧力で使用してもよい。
本発明の好適な実施の態様の例は次の通りであるが、本発明はこれらの例示に限定されない。
(A) (a)水性ラテックスポリマーエマルジョンを調製する工程、
(b)前記水性ラテックスポリマーエマルジョン中に医療用装置を浸漬する工程、
(c)前記医療用装置上の前記水性ラテックスポリマーエマルジョンを乾燥して前記医療用装置上にコーティングを形成する工程、および
(d)前記水性ラテックスポリマーエマルジョンのコーティングが所定の厚みに到達するまで前記工程(b)および(c)を繰り返す工程
を備える医療用装置塗布方法。
(1) 上記水性ラテックスポリマーエマルジョンを調製する工程は、ビニリデンフルオライドとヘキサフルオロプロピレンを水に混合することを含む実施態様(A)に記載の医療用装置塗布方法。
(2) 上記ビニリデンフルオライドとヘキサフルオロプロピレンを水に混合する工程は、ビニリデンフルオライドとヘキサフルオロプロピレンを水に約25対75の重量比で添加することを含む上記実施態様(1)に記載の医療用装置塗布方法。
(3) 上記医療用装置上の上記水性ラテックスポリマーエマルジョンを乾燥して上記医療用装置上にコーティングを形成する工程は、上記水性ラテックスポリマーエマルジョンから水を蒸発させることにより上記医療用装置の表面上に膜を堆積することを含む実施態様(A)記載の医療用装置塗布方法。
(4) 上記水性ラテックスポリマーエマルジョンのコーティングが所定の厚みに到達するまで上記工程(b)および(c)を繰り返す工程は、約4マイクロメータ〜約15マイクロメータの範囲内のコーティングを創出することを含む実施態様(A)に記載の医療用装置塗布方法。
(B) (a)水性ラテックスポリマーエマルジョンを調製する工程、
(b)所定の疾患を治療するために前記水性ラテックスポリマーエマルジョンに治療用量の少なくとも1種の医薬、剤および/または化合物を添加する工程、
(c)前記少なくとも1種の医薬、剤および/または化合物を含む前記水性ラテックスポリマーエマルジョン中に前記医療用装置を浸漬する工程、
(d)前記医療用装置上の前記少なくとも1種の医薬、剤および/または化合物を含む前記水性ラテックスポリマーエマルジョンを乾燥して前記医療用装置上にコーティングを形成する工程、および
(e)前記少なくとも1種の医薬、剤および/または化合物を含む前記水性ラテックスポリマーエマルジョンのコーティングが所定の厚みに到達するまで前記工程(c)および(d)を繰り返す工程
を備える医療用装置塗布方法。
(5) 上記水性ラテックスポリマーエマルジョンを調製する工程は、ビニリデンフルオライドとヘキサフルオロプロピレンを水に混合することを含む実施態様(B)に記載の医療用装置塗布方法。
(7) 上記少なくとも1種の医薬、剤および/または化合物を添加する工程は、抗増殖剤を添加することを含む実施態様(B)に記載の医療用装置塗布方法。
(8) 上記少なくとも1種の医薬、剤および/または化合物を添加する工程は、ラパマイシンを添加することを含む上記実施態様(7)に記載の医療用装置塗布方法。
(9) 上記医療用装置上の上記少なくとも1種の医薬、剤および/または化合物を含む上記水性ラテックスポリマーエマルジョンを乾燥してコーティングを形成する工程は、上記水性ラテックスポリマーエマルジョンから水を蒸発させることにより、上記医療用装置の表面上に膜を堆積することを含む実施態様(B)に記載の医療用装置塗布方法。
(10) 上記少なくとも1種の医薬、剤および/または化合物を含む上記水性ラテックスポリマーエマルジョンのコーティングが所定の厚みに到達するまで上記工程(c)および(d)を繰り返す工程は、約4マイクロメータ〜約15マイクロメータの範囲内のコーティングを創出することを含む実施態様(B)に記載の医療用装置塗布方法。

- 医療用装置の塗布方法であって、
(a)ビニリデンフルオライドとヘキサフルオロプロピレンを水に混合し、重合することを含む、水性ラテックスポリマーエマルジョンを調製する工程、
(b)前記水性ラテックスポリマーエマルジョン中に医療用装置を浸漬する工程、
(c)前記医療用装置上の前記水性ラテックスポリマーエマルジョンを乾燥して前記医療用装置上にコーティングを形成する工程、および、
(d)前記水性ラテックスポリマーエマルジョンのコーティングが所定の厚みに到達するまで前記工程(b)および(c)を繰り返す工程、
を備える、医療用装置の塗布方法。 - 前記ビニリデンフルオライドとヘキサフルオロプロピレンを水に混合することは、ビニリデンフルオライドとヘキサフルオロプロピレンを水に、モノマー対水の重量比が5:95〜35:65の範囲内となるように添加することを含む、請求項1に記載の医療用装置の塗布方法。

(e)前記少なくとも1種の医薬、剤および/または化合物を含む前記水性ラテックスポリマーエマルジョンのコーティングが所定の厚みに到達するまで前記工程(c)および(d)を繰り返す工程、
を備える、医療用装置の塗布方法。 - 前記ビニリデンフルオライドとヘキサフルオロプロピレンを水に混合することは、ビニリデンフルオライドとヘキサフルオロプロピレンを水に、モノマー対水の重量比が5:95〜35:65の範囲内となるように添加することを含む、請求項6に記載の医療用装置の塗布方法。
- 前記少なくとも1種の医薬、剤および/または化合物を添加する工程は、抗増殖剤を添加することを含む、請求項6または7に記載の医療用装置の塗布方法。
- 前記少なくとも1種の医薬、剤および/または化合物を添加する工程は、ラパマイシンを添加することを含む、請求項8に記載の医療用装置の塗布方法。
- 前記医療用装置上の前記少なくとも1種の医薬、剤および/または化合物を含む前記水性ラテックスポリマーエマルジョンを乾燥してコーティングを形成する工程は、前記水性ラテックスポリマーエマルジョンから水を蒸発させることにより、前記医療用装置の表面上に膜を堆積することを含む、請求項6〜9のいずれかに記載の医療用装置の塗布方法。
- 前記少なくとも1種の医薬、剤および/または化合物を含む前記水性ラテックスポリマーエマルジョンのコーティングが所定の厚みに到達するまで前記工程(c)および(d)を繰り返す工程は、4マイクロメータ〜15マイクロメータの範囲内のコーティングを生成することを含む、請求項6〜10のいずれかに記載の医療用装置の塗布方法。
- 前記重合することは、液状のビニリデンフルオライドおよびヘキサフルオロプロピレンを550psi〜1800psi(3.792×106Pa〜1.241×107Pa)の範囲内の圧力下で重合することを含む、請求項6〜11のいずれかに記載の医療用装置の塗布方法。
