Claims (2)

筐体の両側面に形成された段付部に、ゴム部材とこのゴム部材に形成された凹部に重ね合わせて締結固着された板金部材とで構成されたプロテクタが嵌め合わせて取り付けられる携帯型電子機器において、
前記ゴム部材の凹部は前記筐体の側面に嵌め合い隣接面との角部も覆うように矩形に形成され、この凹部の底面の中央部分には長手方向に沿ってほぼ等間隔に複数の縁付孔が設けられてこれら縁付孔の縁部は前記板金部材を締結固着する係止部材として形成され、さらにこの凹部の底面には前記筐体の側面にねじ止めするための複数の取付穴が設けられ、前記ゴム部材の凹部の開口面を形成する各辺には離散的に複数の爪部が前記板金部材を締結固着する係止部材として設けられるとともにこれら爪部には突起部が設けられ、
前記板金部材は、前記ゴム部材の凹部に嵌め合うように主平面の上下左右の4辺が同一方向に直角に折り曲げ成形されてその主平面の中央部分には前記ゴム部材の縁付孔を挿入して前記ゴム部材と締結固着するための複数の打抜穴が前記板金部材の長手方向に沿ってほぼ等間隔に設けられるとともに、前記板金部材の主平面には前記筐体の側面にねじ止めするための複数の取付穴が前記ゴム部材の凹部の底面に設けられている複数の取付穴と重なるように設けられ、
