【解決手段】ブレーキペダル2にブレーキペダル2と連動する腕3を設け、腕3の先端がアクセルペダルの踏み面1の正常な作動範囲の最下端より下方になる位置に配し、アクセルペダルの踏み面1を正常な作動範囲以上に踏み込んだ時、アクセルペダルの踏み面1の下端で腕3を押しブレーキペダル2を作動させる。

又、運転者が慣れているブレーキペダルとアクセルペダルの位置関係などの基本構成は変更しない方が良い。
本発明は、上記の問題点を解決するためになされたものである。

なお、前記アクセルペダルは、踏み面とアームに分けておき、正常時には前記踏み面と前記アームをバネの摩擦力などで一体化して使用出来る構造とし、踏み間違いが発生した時は正常時より強い力で踏み込むため、前記踏み面と前記アームの摩擦力を排し、分離して前記アームだけが自由になりアクセルペダルを踏み込んでいない状態に戻る構造とした。この状態は、正常運転時のアクセルペダルを放し、ブレーキペダルを踏んでいる状態と同じである。

本発明の実施の形態について図面を参照して説明する。
図1、図2に於いて、ブレーキペダル2に腕3を付けブレーキペダル2と腕3を連動出来る様にし、腕3の先端をアクセルペダルの踏み面1の下部に配置する。
この時、図4の如くアクセルペダルの踏み面1を正規の運転状態で最大限踏み込んだ位置の下部に腕3が配置されている。
ブレーキペダル2は、従来の動作と変わりはなく単独でブレーキ操作が出来る。
アクセルペダルは、アクセルペダルの踏み面1とアクセルペダルのアーム7に分かれていてアクセルペダルの踏み面1の窪み4に玉5が嵌合され、玉5の後方をバネ6で押えている。このバネ6の押える力がアクセルペダルの踏み面1とアクセルペダルのアーム7の間の摩擦力となってアクセルペダルの踏み面1とアクセルペダルのアーム7を一体としている。
アクセルペダルの踏み面1をブレーキペダル2と間違って踏んだ時、図4の如くアクセルペダルのアーム7がストッパ10に当り、更に強い力で踏み込むと、玉5に力がかかり、バネ6を押しのけて玉5は窪み4から外れアクセルペダルの踏み面1とアクセルペダルのアーム7は分離される。図5の如くアクセルペダルの踏み面1はそのまま腕3を押しつづけブレーキペダル2を連動して駆動力を制動し、アクセルペダルのアーム7は復帰バネ9の作用で、アクセルペダルが踏まれていない位置に戻る。
アクセルペダルの踏み面1とアクセルペダルのアーム7の一体化及び分離の方法は、玉5と、バネ6を用いるの他、シャーピンなどを使用することもできる。
又、腕3と床との間にエンジン停止用のスイッチなどを設けることも有効である。
