Description
【0001】

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a release agent composition used for molding dies such as rubber and plastic.
[0002]
[Technical background of the invention and its problems]
Conventionally, a dimethyl silicone emulsion or the like has been used as a release agent to be applied to a mold such as rubber or plastic (Japanese Patent Laid-Open Nos. 57-111394, 60-179211, 62). -275711, JP-A-62-2908, and JP-A-8-188744).
[0003]
However, the conventionally proposed release agents, when applied, cause repelling and liquid drift on the surface of the water-repellent mold and the unvulcanized rubber material, resulting in smears and proper application amount. It was difficult to apply. Such smears and insufficient coating amount cause a decrease in releasability, a decrease in the appearance of the product, a decrease in the life of the mold, and a detrimental effect of the processing method at regular intervals.
[0004]
In order to suppress such smears and insufficient coating amount, it is necessary to perform repeated coating or wiping after drying to spread the coating uniformly, resulting in a problem of deteriorating work efficiency.
[0005]
Further, as described in the above prior art, as a method for preventing the splashing of the liquid so that smears themselves do not occur, there is a technique called addition of a thickener (Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. Sho 62-3908). Although it is considered that the effect is not sufficient, if a thickener is used, a large excess of coating is required for those with poor wettability, and the appearance deteriorates due to excessive silicone content and stains occur in the surrounding area Occurs. In addition, a method of adding powders such as mica and talc (Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 57-111394) is conceivable, but this is not effective, and causes mold and molded products to become dirty and discolored after release. Or the problem of soiling the product periphery due to the detachment of powder occurs.
[0006]
OBJECT OF THE INVENTION
An object of the present invention is to provide a mold release agent that is free from the occurrence of splashing and liquid dipping and the problem of smearing caused thereby, and that can adjust the coating amount and can be thickly coated.
[0007]
[Structure of the invention]
As a result of intensive studies to achieve the above-mentioned object, the present inventors have obtained a release agent having excellent performance in which the compounding of an alkylamine oxide compound is extremely effective and the above-mentioned problems are solved. As a result, the present invention has been completed.
[0008]
That is, the present invention
(A) For a silicone emulsion containing a polydiorganosiloxane having a viscosity of 50 to 10,000,000 mPa at 25 ° C. (silicone content 3 to 60% by weight),
(B) A release agent composition comprising an alkylamine oxide compound.
[0009]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Hereinafter, the present invention will be described in detail. The polydiorganosiloxane of the component (A) used in the present invention is a component giving a releasing action. The viscosity of such polydiorganosiloxane is 50 to 10,000,000 mPa at 25 ° C., preferably 1,000 to 2,000,000 mPa. If it is less than 50 mPa, the releasing effect is not sufficient, and if it exceeds 10,000,000 mPa, a stable emulsion composition cannot be obtained.
[0010]
The polysiloxane to be used has only to have a viscosity at 25 ° C. within the above range, and one kind thereof may be used alone, or two or more kinds may be mixed and used.
[0011]
The polysiloxane to be used is preferably a linear polysiloxane, but may have a partial branch or network structure. Moreover, there is no restriction | limiting in particular as the functional machine of the terminal of polysiloxane, Preferably it is a methyl group, a hydroxyl group, or a methoxy group.
[0012]
The organic group bonded to the silicon atom in the polydiorganosiloxane is an alkyl group such as a methyl group, an ethyl group, a propyl group, a butyl group or a hexyl group: an alkenyl group such as a vinyl group or a propenyl group; Examples include aryl groups; aralkyl groups such as phenethyl groups; and those in which some of the hydrogen atoms of these hydrocarbon groups are substituted with halogen atoms, nitrile groups, etc. Groups are preferred.
[0013]
The silicone content in the emulsion of component (A) is 3 to 60% by weight. If it is less than 3% by weight, the coating efficiency and releasability are not sufficient, and if it exceeds 60% by weight, the film coating property and handling are inconvenient.
[0014]
The component (B) is a characteristic component of the present invention, and prevents the composition from being flipped or from getting close to the liquid. Examples of the alkylamine oxide compound as the component (B) include dimethylalkylamine oxide, and examples of the alkyl group include lauryl group, myristyl group, coconut (natural oil-modified group such as coconut oil) and the like.
[0015]
The amount of component (B) is 0.5 to 10% by weight based on the composition of the present invention. This is because if it is less than 0.5% by weight, there is no effect of preventing the occurrence of flipping and shifting, and if it exceeds 10% by weight, the releasability is lowered.
[0016]
The release agent composition of the present invention is preferably adjusted with water so that the component concentration is 3 to 50% by weight from the viewpoint of coating efficiency and coating properties.
[0017]
In the release agent composition of the present invention, an antifoaming agent, a pigment, an inorganic powder, a surfactant, and the like may be arbitrarily added as necessary. The release agent composition of the present invention thus prepared is useful as a release agent for rubber, and coating methods using this are brush coating, roll coating, spray coating, knife coating, and dip coating. Any method is used after applying to a mold or unvulcanized rubber surface and drying at room temperature or heating.
[0018]
The composition of the present invention is useful as a mold release agent for rubber and plastic, but is particularly suitable for molding of butyl rubber, EPDM rubber, SBR, NBR, nitrile rubber, acrylic rubber, fluororubber, and the like.
[0019]
【The invention's effect】
According to the present invention, it is possible to provide a mold release agent that is free from the occurrence of splashing and liquid dipping and the problem of smearing caused thereby, and that can adjust the coating amount and can be thickly coated. Since adjustment of the coating amount and thick coating are possible, the release effect and its sustainability can be improved, and the problem caused by an excessive release agent can be solved. In particular, it is possible to achieve good mold release even in the molding of rubber that requires thick coating of a mold release agent, and the mold release agent of the present invention is particularly useful as a mold release agent for tire bladders.
[0020]
【Example】
Hereinafter, the present invention will be described by way of examples. In the examples, all parts are parts by weight.
Examples 1-2 and Comparative Examples 1-8
The components having the compositions shown in Table 1 were uniformly mixed to prepare release agent compositions (Examples 1 and 2) and comparative compositions (Comparative Examples 1 to 8) of the present invention.
[0021]
When these were applied to the horizontal NBR rubber sheet with a brush, the presence or absence of repelling, the wet weight of 5 g / m 2 on a 10 cm square NBR sheet with the composition standing vertically using a spray gun As a result of adjusting the spray discharge amount and time, the result of measuring the coating area of the compounded liquid when applied, and the presence or absence of occurrence of dripping or flow of the composition on the NBR rubber sheet when sprayed The results of the examination are shown in Table 1. From this, it is clear that the composition of the present invention is excellent in wettability on rubber.
