Description
重合防止剤は、1種を用いても、2種以上を併用してもよい。
対して、10倍mol以上が好ましく、50〜10000倍molがより好ましい。
(反応工程1)
20段オールダーショウ付き1Lガラス製四つ口フラスコに、n−ブタノール(以下、n−BuOHという。)を194g(2.617mol)、メチルメタクリレート(以下、MMAという。)を451g(4.505mol)、重合防止剤として2,2,6,6−テトラメチル−4−アセトアミノピペリジン−N−オキシル(以下、AMXという。)を0.075g、触媒としてジブチルスズオキサイド(以下、DBTOという。)を0.65g(2.6mmol)仕込み、油浴でフラスコを加熱してエステル交換反応によるn−ブチルメタクリレート(以下、BMAという。)の合成反応を開始させた。スズ量は原料ブタノールに対して0.001mol%とした。副生するメタノールを抜き出しながら釜内温103〜135℃で2時間加熱還流し、n−BuOHの転化率が99.6%に達したところで反応を終了した。
反応終了後、加熱減圧下においてMMAとBMAを蒸留により除去し、製品BMAを取得した。
次いで、DBTOの変性物とAMXを含むフラスコ中の残渣にn−BuOHを194g(2.617mol)加えて油浴を140℃に加熱し、還流下で3時間加熱を行った。
その後フラスコの内容物を40℃まで冷却し、MMAを451g(4.505mol)、AMXを0.075g加えて、1回目エステル交換反応と同様にして再びエステル交換反応を行った。この操作を繰り返して計6回のエステル交換反応を行った。各反応においては、n−BuOHの転化率が99%を超えた時点で反応を終了した。
残渣処理工程を実施せず、反応工程2でMMAと共に194gのn−BuOHを加えた以外は実施例1と同様にしてBMAの製造を行った。
比較例1の6回目のエステル交換反応の製品回収工程で得られた残渣について、実施例1と同様にしての残渣処理工程と反応工程2(7回目のエステル交換反応)を行った。その結果、反応時間は2.5時間で、n−BuOHの転化率は99.0%で、6回目に比べて活性が大幅に回復していることが判った。

ジブチルスズジアセテート1g(約2.85mmol)とメタノール60mlとを100ml三ツ口フラスコに入れて加熱還流を行った。1時間後にメタノールを減圧除去し、残渣の13C−NMR測定を行ったところ、全てのジブチルスズジアセテートが1,3−ジアセトキシ−1,1,3,3−テトラブチルジスタノキサンへ変換されていることが判った。

ジブチルスズジアクリレート1g(約2.67mmol)とn−ブタノール60mlとを100ml三ツ口フラスコに入れて加熱還流を行った。1時間後にn−ブタノールを減圧除去し、残渣の13C−NMR測定を行ったところ、全てのジブチルスズジアクリレートが1,3−ジアクリロキシ−1,1,3,3−テトラブチルジスタノキサンへ変換されていることが判った。

ジブチルスズジメタクリレート1g(約2.48mmol)とn−ブタノール60mlとを100ml三ツ口フラスコに入れて加熱還流を行った。3時間後にn−ブタノールを減圧除去し、残渣の1H,13C−NMR測定を行ったところ、全てのジブチルスズジメタクリレートが1,3−ジメタクリロキシ−1,1,3,3−テトラブチルジスタノキサンへ変換されていることが判った。

ジブチルスズジベンゾエート1g(約2.10mmol)とn−ブタノール60mlとを100ml三ツ口フラスコに入れて加熱還流を行った。6時間後にn−ブタノールを減圧除去し、残渣の13C−NMR測定を行ったところ、全てのジブチルスズジベンゾエートが1,3−ジベンゾキシ−1,1,3,3−テトラブチルジスタノキサンへ変換されていることが判った。

Claims (2)
- 次の4つの工程を含むカルボン酸エステルの製造方法。
(反応工程1) ジアルキルスズオキサイド化合物を触媒としてカルボン酸エステル(原料エステル1という)とアルコール(原料アルコール1という)とからエステル交換反応によりカルボン酸エステル(製品エステル1という)を製造する工程。
(製品回収工程) 反応工程1のエステル交換反応で得られた少なくとも該ジアルキルスズオキサイド化合物の変性物と製品エステル1とを含む液またはスラリーから蒸留により製品エステル1の一部または全部を留去して製品エステル1を取得する工程。
(残渣処理工程) 製品回収工程で製品エステル1を留去した結果得られた少なくとも該ジアルキルスズオキサイド化合物の変性物を含む残渣にアルコール(添加アルコールという)を添加し、得られた溶液またはスラリーを50℃以上かつ当該溶液またはスラリーの沸点以下で処理する工程。
(反応工程2) 残渣処理工程で得られた処理物(処理後残渣という)を触媒としてカルボン酸エステル(原料エステル2という)とアルコール(原料アルコール2という)とからエステル交換反応によりカルボン酸エステル(製品エステル2という)を製造する工程。 - ジアルキルスズオキサイド化合物がジブチルスズオキサイド化合物である請求項1に記載の製造方法。
