Description
また、ベルト駆動アクセサリとプーリとの間にデカップラ組立体を設けて、プーリがエンジン速度で振動(変動)するときに、ベルト駆動アクセサリが、一時的に、より高速で作動すること(すなわちクランクシャフトを「オーバーラン」すること)を可能にすることも知られている。このようなデカップラの例が、Mevissenn等の2000年7月4日付米国特許第6,083,130号明細書およびBytzek等の1992年8月18日付米国特許第5,139,463号明細書に示されている。
Claims (12)
- デカプラであって、
回転駆動部材と、
該回転駆動部材に対して相対回転運動できるように、回転駆動部材と同軸状に取付けられた回転被駆動部材と、
前記駆動部材と前記被駆動部材との間に延びているデカップリング組立体であって、駆動部材が被駆動部材に対して第一カップリング方向に回転するときには、駆動部材と被駆動部材とを選択的に連結し、駆動部材が被駆動部材に対して前記第一方向とは逆の第二方向に回転するときには、駆動部材から被駆動部材を選択的に離脱させ、直列に配置されたばねと一方向クラッチ機構とを有するデカップリング組立体と、
駆動部材および被駆動部材の一方と一緒に回転できるように取付けられた捩り振動ダンパと、を備えたデカプラにおいて、
前記ばねは、捩りばねであり、該捩りばねは、被駆動部材および駆動部材の一方と係合する第一端部と、キャリヤと係合する第二端部とを備え、
前記一方向クラッチ機構は、潤滑性を高め且つ過度の摩擦および発熱によるクラッチ面の損傷を低減させるようにコーティングが施されたばね鋼材で形成されたクラッチばねを備え、
前記クラッチばねは、前記キャリヤと係合する第一端部と、螺旋状に延びかつ前記被駆動部材および駆動部材の他方と摩擦係合する複数のコイルとを備え、
前記複数のコイルは、第一カップリング方向への相対回転時に拡大して摩擦係合を増大させ、かつ第二カップリング方向への相対回転時に収縮する、
ことを特徴とするデカップラ。 - 前記捩り振動ダンパは、デカップリング組立体を包囲する関係で取付けられている、
請求項1に記載のデカップラ。 - 前記捩り振動ダンパは、周方向に延びているリムを備えた取付けハブと、前記リム上に取付けられる弾性リングと、該弾性リング上に取付けられる慣性リングとを有している、
請求項2に記載のデカップラ。 - 前記慣性リングは、デカップラの質量中心をデカップラの回転軸線に沿って移動させるように配置されたローブを有している、
請求項3記載のデカップラ。 - 前記取付けハブは、前記駆動部材上に圧嵌めされる、
請求項4に記載のデカップラ。 - 前記捩りばねの両端部は、被駆動部材および駆動部材の前記一方および前記キャリヤと相互ロックする、
請求項1に記載のデカップラ。 - 前記被駆動部材および駆動部材の一方は、U型断面をもつ環状リングを形成する内周部を有し、前記デカップリング組立体は前記環状リング内に取付けられている、
請求項1に記載のデカップラ。 - 前記被駆動部材および駆動部材の他方は、円筒状本体およびこれから延びているフランジを備え、前記円筒状本体およびフランジは、前記環状リングの内側壁および外側壁を回転可能に支持する、
請求項7に記載のデカップラ。 - 前記捩り振動ダンパは、前記環状リングを包囲する関係をなして取付けられている、
請求項8に記載のデカップラ。 - 前記捩り振動ダンパは、駆動部材と被駆動部材との間に前記デカップリング組立体を保持している、
請求項9に記載のデカップラ。 - 前記複数のコイルは、前記環状リングの外側壁の内周部と係合する、
請求項7ないし10のいずれか1項に記載のデカップラ組立体。 - 前記駆動部材はハブであり、前記被駆動部材はプーリであり、前記捩り振動ダンパはハブに取付けられている、
請求項1ないし11のいずれか1項に記載のデカップラ。
