この支持部材2の左右の固定部2c上における左右の横葺き屋根板9端部上には保持部材19をそれぞれ配設してある。保持部材19は下り棟に沿い棟から軒まで達する金属製の長尺状のもので、押え部分19aの下り棟側に取付け部19bを、軒側に被係合部19cを形成しており、取付け部19bを支持部材2の上面部2aにビス等の固定具20により固定し、押え部分19aが横葺き屋根板9端部を固定部2cとの間に挟着状に保持している。かかる左右の保持部材19における被係合部19cにはカバー部材10の係合部10dを係合して固定してある。
左右の横葺き屋根板9端部裏面側には捨て板21をそれぞれ配設してある。捨て板21は金属製のもので、外側側縁に軒棟方向に平行状の返し部21aを、内側側縁に支持部材2の起立部2bに沿う立ち上げ部21bを形成してあり、下り棟側の小幅状側縁部21cは当該段の横葺き屋根板9の水上側成形部9aよりも水上側に、軒側の広幅状側縁部21dは下段の横葺き屋根板9の水上側成形部9aより水下側に、それぞれ位置し、横葺き屋根板9端部から裏面側への浸水があったとしても、これを広幅状側縁部21dから下段の横葺き屋根板9の水上側成形部9aに分散して当該段の横葺き屋根板9上に導くことで屋根裏に漏水がないようにしてある。立ち上げ部21bは起立部2bと押え部分19aに挟着されている。

The narrow side edge 21c on the ridge side is located above the water-side molded part 9a of the side roofing board 9 of the step, and the wide side edge 21d on the eaves side is located above the waterside of the bottom side roofing board 9.
