Description

The present invention relates to a recording medium in which recording areas of the data is divided into pre-set plural segments regions, the data recording and reproducing device comprising the continuous recording mode to record set predetermined time of the data at all times, recording image method, and a recording picture program, and a recording medium.

Recently, there has been provided a recording apparatus having a constant recording function for constantly recording data for a predetermined time set in advance (see, for example, Patent Document 1). The continuous recording function is a function that always performs recording for a predetermined time (for example, 30 minutes, 1 hour, 2 hours, etc.) when the recording apparatus is in a power-on state, and enables continuous rewind playback.

As for the continuous recording function, various recording methods have been proposed including the above-described conventional technology. In any case, at the start of continuous recording, a data area for a predetermined time is secured in advance as a ring buffer, Circular recording is performed. In other words, in order to always record, the recording data is continuously written in a specific sector secured in advance, so that the specific sector is overused. For this reason, there is a problem that the life of the recording medium itself is shortened when a specific sector is broken due to overuse.

The present invention was devised to solve such a problem. The purpose of the present invention is not to reserve a data recording area for a predetermined time in advance when performing continuous recording, but instead to secure a data recording area for a predetermined time. by performing continuous recording while securing the segment area, predetermined data recording area only data recording and reproducing apparatus prevented from being repeatedly used intensively, recording method provides recording program and recording medium There is.

To solve the above problems, the data recording and reproducing apparatus of the present invention, recording area of the data, for the recording medium which is divided into pre-set plural segments regions, the predetermined time of the data set as well as continuous recording, if the normal recording is instructed, the data recording and reproducing device comprising a recording controller for performing in parallel the normal recording and said continuous recording, before recording image control means executes the continuous recording At this time, without securing a data recording area for the predetermined time in advance, one free segment area is always secured and recording is performed on the secured segment area, and when the segment area becomes full, the next one is recorded. One of performs recording of the predetermined time by repeating the intends line recording in the segment region secured processed to ensure the free segment area, a predetermined time Once the last segment area is full, the next free segment area is secured and recording is performed on the secured segment area, while the oldest one segment area used for continuous recording is recorded. continuous recording of the predetermined time continues by repeating the processing you open, concurrency between the continuous recording and the normal recording, as well as to continue the process of the continuous recording it, for the normal recording, Always reserve one free segment area and record in the reserved segment area, and when the segment area is full, secure the next free segment area and record in the reserved segment area By repeating the process until the end of normal recording, the position of the empty segment secured by the regular recording and the secured by the normal recording It is characterized in that the position of the empty segment is recording area in a state in which interlaced each other to be.

Furthermore, recordings method of the present invention, recording area of the data, the recording medium is divided into pre-set plural segments regions, as well as continuous recording data of a predetermined time period which is set, the normal recording When instructed, it is a recording method in which normal recording and the continuous recording are performed in parallel . When the continuous recording is executed, the recording control means for executing the continuous recording always secures one free segment area. A first step of recording in the secured segment area, and a second step of securing the next free segment area and recording in the secured segment area when the segment area becomes full , The predetermined time is recorded, and after recording the predetermined time, when the last segment area becomes full, the next one free segment area It performs recording by securing the segment regions thereof secured to continue the continuous recording of the predetermined time by repeating the third steps for opening the oldest one segment region used in continuous recording, the normal recording In the parallel processing with the continuous recording, the processing of each step of the continuous recording is continued as it is, and for the normal recording, one empty segment area is always secured and recorded in the secured segment area. Step 5 and the fifth step of securing the next free segment area and recording in the secured segment area when the segment area is full are repeated until the normal recording ends, thereby The position of the empty segment secured by recording and the position of the empty segment secured by the normal recording skip each other. It is characterized in that the recording area of the state.

More specifically, it is assumed that there are 10 segment areas, for example, segment 1, segment 2,..., Segment 10, as empty segment areas in the data recording area of the recording medium. Assuming that, for example, 15 minutes of data can be recorded in the continuous recording mode, and the predetermined recording time is 1 hour, the recording control means first secures segment 1 which is the first free segment area, Data recording (always recording) is performed on this segment 1. Then, when the segment 1 becomes full, the next free segment area segment 2 is secured, and data recording (always recording) is performed on the segment 2. Then, when the segment 2 becomes full, the next free segment area segment 3 is secured, and data recording (always recording) is performed on the segment 3. Then, when the segment 3 becomes full, the next free segment area segment 4 is secured, and data recording (always recording) is performed on the segment 4. Thereafter, when the segment 4 is full, data for one hour, which is a predetermined recording time, is recorded on the recording medium. Up to this point, the conventional continuous recording is the same.

Here, in the conventional continuous recording, the recording returns to the first segment 1 and the continuous recording is continued by overwriting. In the present invention, when the segment 4 becomes full, the next one free segment area is used. A certain segment 5 is secured, and data recording (always recording) is performed on the segment 5. At this time, the segment 1, which is the oldest one segment area used in the continuous recording, is released. That is, while securing a new empty segment area, the segment 1, which is the oldest segment area used for continuous recording, is released at this time, so that one hour, which is a predetermined time for continuous recording, is always secured. ing. Therefore, for example, when normal recording is performed thereafter, this segment 1 is also handled as an empty area and used as a data recording area for normal recording as needed.

Thereafter, in the same manner, when the segment 5 becomes full, a segment 6 which is the next free segment area is secured, and data recording (always recording) is performed on this segment 6, while The process of releasing the segment 2, which is an old segment area, is sequentially repeated. As a result, the data recording area for continuous recording moves sequentially within the physical data recording area of the recording medium, and it is possible to avoid a situation where only a specific sector is repeatedly concentrated and used. It becomes.

Here, in the present invention, when normal recording is instructed, the recording control means performs normal recording and normal recording in parallel. Normal recording also differs from regular recording only in the recording mode, and the recording method is basically the same as the regular recording. That is, when normal recording is instructed, the recording control means secures one empty segment area at that time and records data in that segment area, and when the segment area becomes full, Processing such as securing one free segment area and recording data in the segment area is sequentially performed until normal recording ends.

Therefore, when normal recording and normal recording are performed in parallel, the segment areas to be recorded are interlaced with each other. Each segment area is an information file area of the recording medium (this will be described later). Therefore, even in an interlaced state, it is possible to distinguish and recognize the segment area used in normal recording and the segment area used in constant recording. Therefore, the recording control means can individually control normal recording and normal recording and playback by referring to the information file area.

Further, in the present invention, the recording control means performs the normal recording and the continuous recording at the same time, and when the segment area becomes full, the oldest one segment area used in the continuous recording is selected. This segment area is used for normal recording. That is, in this case, the normal recording is preferentially performed. Therefore, in such a case, the predetermined time for continuous recording is shortened. However, for example, if a warning is given to the user at this point to prompt an appropriate countermeasure, there is no particular problem.

The above recordings methods are can be provided as Recording program for executing the respective steps in a computer, recordings program this is provided by being recorded in a computer-readable recording medium It is possible. Here, the recording medium may be a program medium that can be read by incorporating a program reading device in the data recording / reproducing device and inserting the recording medium therein. Such program media include magnetic disks such as floppy disks and hard disks, disk systems such as CD-ROM, MO, DVD-ROM, card systems such as IC cards and optical cards, mask ROMs, EEPROMs, flash memories, etc. Semiconductor memory, etc.

According to the data recording / reproducing apparatus of the present invention, when performing continuous recording, without securing a data recording area for a predetermined time in advance, one free segment area is always secured and recording is performed in the secured segment area. When the segment area becomes full, the next one empty segment area is secured and recording is performed in the secured segment area to perform recording for a predetermined time and a new empty segment. While the area is secured, the oldest segment area used for continuous recording is released, so that a predetermined time for continuous recording is always secured. As a result, the data recording area for continuous recording is sequentially moved within the physical data recording area of the recording medium, and a situation where only a specific sector is repeatedly concentrated and used can be avoided. . Therefore, it is possible to prevent a situation in which the life of the recording medium itself is shortened due to the specific sector being broken due to overuse.

Embodiments of the present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings.

FIG. 1 is a block diagram showing an electrical configuration of an HD (hard disk) recorder 1 showing an embodiment of a data recording / reproducing apparatus of the present invention. However, the data recording / reproducing apparatus of the present invention is not limited to such an HD recorder, and can be applied to, for example, general digital video equipment and optical disk apparatuses including a DVD recorder with a built-in HDD.

The HD recorder 1 shown in FIG. 1 includes a receiving unit 11, an input control unit 12, an A / D conversion unit 13, a controller 14, an HD drive 15, a D / A conversion unit 16, an output control unit 17, an input unit 18, and a memory unit. 20 etc. are comprised.

The input unit 18 is configured by a switch, a button, a remote controller, or the like, and outputs a signal corresponding to a user operation content to the controller 14. Thus, the user can input various data to the HD recorder 1 and can use the HD recorder 1 by operating it.

The receiving unit 11 receives a broadcast signal of the program via the antenna 6 and inputs this broadcast signal to the input control unit 12. The broadcast signal is an analog signal or a digital signal, and includes an audio signal and a video signal.

The input control unit 12 extracts an audio signal and a video signal from the broadcast signal received by the receiving unit 11. When the broadcast signal is an analog signal, the A / D conversion unit 13 encodes (compresses) the video signal and the audio signal extracted by the input control unit 12 according to MPEG2 (Motion Picture Expert Group 2) to the controller 24. Output. On the other hand, when the broadcast signal is a digital signal, since the video signal and the audio signal are already encoded by MPEG2, the video signal and the audio signal are transmitted to the controller 14 as they are.

The controller 14 includes a CPU 14a, a RAM 14b, and a ROM 14c. The controller 14 controls each component of the HD recorder 1 including reading and writing of audio signals and video signals to a hard disk (recording medium) (not shown).

The ROM 14c stores a program for controlling the entire HD recorder 1. The CPU 14a performs a calculation for controlling each component of the HD recorder 1 according to a program stored in the ROM 14c and a signal from the input unit 18. The RAM 14b operates as a work area for the CPU 14a to perform calculations.

The HD drive 15 is a component that forms reading means and writing means together with the controller 14, and includes a hard disk as a storage medium (recording medium) and data (video signal) stored in the hard disk (hereinafter also referred to as “recording”). And a head for reading data (hereinafter also referred to as “recording / reproducing”) and writing data (video signal and audio signal) to the hard disk (hereinafter also referred to as “recording”). Has been.

When reproducing data such as video signals and audio signals recorded on the hard disk, the D / A converter 16 decodes (decompresses) these signals via the controller 14 and converts them into analog signals for output control. 17 to output. Further, the output control unit 17 outputs the video signal and the audio signal converted by the D / A conversion unit 16 to an output device (not shown) such as a television monitor, a picture tube (CRT), or a speaker.

FIG. 2 is a diagram schematically showing the storage contents of the data stored in the HD drive 15 and information about the storage position of the data.

The HD drive 15 stores a segment area 51, which is a data recording area where data such as video signals and audio signals are recorded (recorded), an information file area 52 where file information files are stored, and a system information file. The system information area 53 is divided.

In this embodiment, the segment area 51 is divided into 500 segment areas (segments 1 to 500). One segment area is divided into a capacity of about 8 megabytes, for example.

In the present embodiment, the information file area 52 is divided into 50 so that the information files of the files 1 to 50 can be stored. In the information file area 52, information files are stored every predetermined time in order from the information file of the file 1. FIG. 3 is a diagram schematically showing information included in the system information file stored in the system information area 53 and the information file of the file stored in the information file area 52.

As shown in FIG. 3, the information file of each of the files 1 to 50 includes a file name, a file size, a recording time, a recording quality, a recording point, and a use segment. Specifically, in the information file, what is recorded at that time is which segment (“used segment”) in the segment area 53 from which point (“recording point”) in the segment. Information on the length of the place ("recording time"). The file name is a file name corresponding to the file being recorded in the segment, and the file size is the size of the file. The file size varies depending on the recording time and recording quality. The recording quality can be determined as appropriate in the HD recorder 1 and can be changed according to the information input to the input unit 8. As recording quality, there are TS recording for digital recording of video and audio transmitted by digital broadcasting as they are, and PS (XP / SP / LP / EP etc.) recording.

Note that the information file of the file created when the playback operation is performed in the HD recorder 1 includes the point being played back at that time (“playback point”) instead of the recording point described above.

Further, in the HD recorder 1, when recording is performed, a file information file is created every predetermined time. When playback is performed simultaneously with recording, the file of the recording is recorded. An information file and an information file for reproduction are created.

As shown in FIG. 3, the system information file includes a recording file number for specifying an information file for recording and a playback file for specifying an information file for playback in the information file area 52 at that time. Contains a number.

Here, the recording process of the controller 14 in conventional normal recording (including recording reservation) started by user operation will be briefly described.

When a recording start instruction is input from the input unit 18 by the user, the controller 14 secures one empty segment (for example, segment 1) at that time, and records data in this segment 1. Then, when the segment 1 becomes full, the next free segment (for example, segment 2) is secured, and data recording is performed on the segment 2. In this way, when recording is performed until one segment is full, normal recording for a preset recording time is performed by repeatedly securing a next empty segment at that time. That is, in normal recording, recording is performed while securing one new segment for each segment.

In the above configuration, the HD recorder 1 of the present embodiment has a constant recording function separately from the normal recording. The continuous recording function is a function that always performs recording for a predetermined time (for example, 30 minutes, 1 hour, 2 hours, etc.) when the HD recorder 1 is in a power-on state, and enables continuous rewind playback. . That is, it is a function for rewinding and reproducing the recorded data while temporarily recording data (broadcast signal) input from the outside in a predetermined data recording area of the hard disk for a predetermined time. Here, the predetermined time can be selected by the user from a plurality of hours provided in advance.

Conventionally, in this continuous recording function, at the start of continuous recording, a data recording area for a predetermined time is secured in advance as a ring buffer, and recording is performed cyclically within the data recording area. On the other hand, in the HD recorder 1 of the present embodiment, when performing continuous recording, one free segment area is always ensured as in the normal recording, without securing a data recording area for a predetermined time in advance. A system is adopted in which recording is sequentially performed on the secured segment areas.

Hereinafter, the continuous recording operation performed by the controller 14 in the present embodiment will be described with reference to the flowchart shown in FIG. 4 and the explanatory diagram shown in FIG.

Here, in the data recording area of the hard disk, there are 10 segment areas, such as segment 1, segment 2,..., Segment 10, as shown in FIG. It is assumed that, for example, 15 minutes of data can be recorded in one segment area in the constant recording mode, and the predetermined recording time is one hour. For the convenience of explanation, it is assumed that data is already recorded from the segment 11 to the segment 500 by the normal recording for the sake of easy understanding. That is, here, the continuous recording operation will be described focusing on only the segments 1 to 10.

When the power source of the HD recorder 1 is turned on in this state, the controller 14 first secures the segment 1 which is the first empty segment area (step S1), and performs data recording (always recording) on the segment 1 (Step S2). This state is shown in FIG.

Then, when segment 1 is full (Yes in step S3), it is checked whether or not data for a predetermined time has been recorded (step S4). If data for a predetermined time has not been recorded, If it is determined No in step S4, the process returns to step S1 to secure the next one segment, which is an empty segment area, and data recording (always recording) is performed on this segment 2 (step S2). This state is shown in FIG. In FIG. 5 (b), the hatched segment is a segment in which the recording data is recorded to the full.

Then, when the segment 2 is full (Yes in step S3), it is checked whether or not data for a predetermined time has been recorded (step S4). If data for a predetermined time has not been recorded. If it is determined No in step S4, the process returns to step S1 to secure the next free segment area segment 3 and perform data recording (always recording) on this segment 3 (step S2). This state is shown in FIG.

Then, when the segment 3 is full (Yes in step S3), it is confirmed whether or not data for a predetermined time has been recorded (step S4). If data for a predetermined time has not been recorded. If it is determined No in step S4, the process returns to step S1 to secure the next one segment, which is an empty segment area, and performs data recording (always recording) on this segment 4 (step S2). This state is shown in FIG.

Thereafter, when the segment 4 is full (determined as Yes in step S3), it is confirmed whether or not data for a predetermined time has been recorded (step S4). In this case, as shown in FIG. 5 (e), the recording data is always recorded in the four segments 1 to 4, and the recording for one hour, which is a predetermined time, can be performed.

In this case, the controller 14 secures a segment 5 which is the next free segment area (step S5). On the other hand, the controller 14 releases the segment 1 which is the oldest one segment area used for the continuous recording (step S6). This state is shown in FIG. That is, while securing a new empty segment area, the segment 1, which is the oldest segment area used for constant recording, is released at this time so that the predetermined time of constant recording does not exceed one hour ( That is, data for one hour is kept). Accordingly, for example, when normal recording is performed thereafter, this segment 1 is also treated as an empty area (that is, a recordable area) and used as necessary as a recording area for normal recording. Thereafter, the controller 14 performs data recording (always recording) on the segment 5 (step S7).

Then, when the segment 5 is full (determined as Yes in step S8), the process returns to step S5 to secure the next segment 6 that is a free segment area. On the other hand, the controller 14 releases the segment 2 which is the oldest one segment area used for the constant recording (step S6). This state is shown in FIG. That is, while securing a new empty segment area, the segment 2 which is the oldest segment area used for constant recording is released at this time so that the predetermined time of constant recording does not exceed one hour ( That is, data for one hour is kept). Accordingly, for example, when normal recording is performed thereafter, this segment 2 is also treated as an empty area and used as necessary as a recording area for normal recording. Thereafter, the controller 14 performs data recording (always recording) on the segment 6 (step S7).

Thereafter, in the same manner, when the segment 6 becomes full, a segment 7 which is the next free segment area is secured, and data recording (always recording) is performed on this segment 7, while The process of releasing the segment 3 which is the old segment area is sequentially repeated.

As a result, the data recording area for continuous recording moves sequentially within the physical data recording area of the hard disk, and it is possible to avoid a situation in which only a specific sector is repeatedly concentrated and used. Become. That is, in the example shown in FIG. 5, the data recording area for continuous recording was initially the area of segments 1 to 4 (FIG. 5E), but then moved to segments 2 to 5 (FIG. 5 (f)), and further moved to segments 3 to 6 (FIG. 5 (g)).

Such a constant recording operation is continued until the power of the HD recorder 1 is turned off.

The description of the continuous recording operation is based on the assumption that normal recording is not performed. However, when the normal recording is instructed, the controller 14 performs the normal recording and the above-described continuous recording in parallel. In this case, normal recording is TS recording, and constant recording is PS recording. As described above, it is the same that normal recording and continuous recording are sequentially recorded in segment units. Therefore, the continuous recording operation itself is processed according to the flowchart shown in FIG. However, the difference is that when a new empty segment area is secured in steps S1 and S5, the positions of the reserved free segments are not necessarily physically continuous.

For example, in the state shown in FIG. 5E, when the normal recording is instructed while the segment 4 is constantly recorded, the controller 14 secures the segment 5 which is the next empty segment area, and this segment. 5 will perform normal recording. If the segment 4 becomes full in this state, the controller 14 skips the segment 5 and always secures the next empty segment area 6 for recording. Therefore, the data recording area secured for continuous recording at this time is different from the physically continuous areas of segment 2, segment 3, segment 4, and segment 5 in FIG. , Segment 4 and segment 6 become a constantly recording area in a physically jumped state.

As described above, when the normal recording and the normal recording are performed in parallel, the segment areas to be recorded are skipped, but each segment 1 to 500 is individually managed in the information file area 52 of the hard disk. Therefore, even in the interlaced state, it is possible to distinguish and recognize the segment area used for normal recording and the segment area used for constant recording. Therefore, the controller 14 can individually control normal recording and continuous recording and playback by referring to the information in the information file area 52.

In the present embodiment, the controller 14 performs the normal recording and the continuous recording at the same time, and if the segment area becomes full, the oldest one segment area used in the continuous recording is selected. This segment area is used for normal recording. That is, in this case, the normal recording is preferentially performed. Therefore, in such a case, the predetermined time for continuous recording is shortened (for example, 1 hour is 45 minutes and 30 minutes), but for example, a warning is given to the user at this time, and an appropriate countermeasure ( If a measure for erasing past data to increase an empty segment area) is urged, the rewind playback time by continuous recording is shortened, but there is no particular problem. As a method for issuing a warning, a warning message may be displayed at a corner of the screen of a television monitor or the like connected to the output control unit 17.
