Claims (2)
- 鋼の連続鋳造装置であって、
一対の長辺壁と一対の短辺壁を備えた溶鋼鋳造用の鋳型と、
前記鋳型内に溶鋼を吐出する浸漬ノズルと、
前記一対の長辺壁に沿って配置され、前記鋳型内の上部の溶鋼を攪拌する電磁攪拌装置と、
前記電磁攪拌装置の下方に配置され、前記鋳型の長辺壁に沿った鋳型幅方向に一様な磁束密度分布を有する直流磁界を、前記鋳型の短辺壁に沿った鋳型厚み方向に付与する電磁ブレーキ装置と、を有し、
前記各長辺壁には、少なくとも前記浸漬ノズルに対向する位置に、前記電磁攪拌装置側に湾曲した湾曲部が形成され、
前記湾曲部と前記浸漬ノズルとの間に形成される湾曲領域における、前記湾曲部の頂部と前記浸漬ノズル間の水平距離は、最短で35mm以上であって、かつ最長で50mm未満であることを特徴とする、鋼の連続鋳造装置。 - 前記湾曲部は、前記長辺壁の内側面に形成され、
前記長辺壁の外側面は、平坦面であることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の鋼の連続鋳造用装置。
