【0034】
なお、飾り図柄表示部9は、液晶表示器に限らず、CRT(Cathode Ray Tube)、FED(Field Emission Display)、PDP(Plasma Display Panel)、ドットマトリクス等その他の画像表示式の表示装置により構成されてもよい。
【0035】

【0111】
まず、ステップS(以下単に「S」という。)

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a gaming machine represented by a pachinko gaming machine, a coin gaming machine, a slot machine, or the like. Specifically, the display device has a variable display device that variably displays a plurality of types of identification information that can each be identified, and any one of a plurality of types of specific display modes in which display results of variable display in the variable display device are predetermined. The game state is controlled to a specific game state advantageous to the player when it becomes a failure, and is controlled to the specific game state when the display result is a special display mode of the plurality of types of specific display modes, The present invention relates to a gaming machine that is also controlled in a special game state different from the specific game state after the specific game state ends.
[0002]
[Prior art]
What is conventionally known as this type of gaming machine has a variable display device that variably displays a plurality of types of identification information that can be identified, such as pachinko gaming machines. When the display result of the display device becomes a specific display mode determined in advance, it becomes controllable to a specific gaming state such as a big hit, and when a special display mode is selected among the specific display modes determined in advance There was a gaming machine that could be controlled to a special gaming state such as a promising big hit.
[0003]
In a conventional gaming machine, when a special display mode is displayed as a display result of a variable display device, a special game is performed every time a variable display is performed or each reach is performed in a gaming machine controlled to a special gaming state. There has been a case where identification information constituting a special display mode for generating a state is drawn out and the player is notified of the identification information constituting the selected special display mode (for example, Patent Document 1).
[0004]
In addition, in conventional gaming machines, there are a plurality of symbol sequences having different ratios between the special identification information and the specific identification information. By replacing the symbol sequence used for variable display, there is a lot of special identification information. Depending on whether there is a lot of identification information, there are some that recognize whether the display result of variable display in the variable display device is likely to be in a special display mode or not (for example, Patent Document 2).

[Problems to be solved by the invention]
As described above, there is a conventional gaming machine that draws and notifies identification information constituting a special display mode for generating a special game state for each variable display or for each reach. In addition, there is a technique for recognizing whether the display result of variable display in the variable display device is likely to be a special display mode or not by replacing the symbol sequence used for variable display.
[0008]
However, in this type of conventional gaming machine, the number of identification information constituting a special display mode is changed for each lottery, and the number of identification information constituting the special display mode is increased or decreased for each change. When the number of pieces of identification information constituting the display mode is small, there is an inconvenience that the game is less interesting than it is for the player. In addition, although the expectation is improved by the fact that the identification information which is the special identification information originally increases on the symbol sequence, there is a drawback that the interest in production is insufficient due to the increase of the same identification information.
[0009]
The present invention has been conceived in view of such circumstances, and an object thereof is to provide a gaming machine capable of improving a player's expectation for a special gaming state.

A valve-like backflow prevention member 30 is provided at the exit portion from the guide rail 29 to the game area 7. The backflow preventing member 30 prevents the hit ball once driven into the game area 7 from returning to the guide rail 29.
[0033]
In the center of the game area 7, a variable display device 8 is provided for variably displaying decorative symbols (hereinafter also referred to as “variable display”) as an example of a plurality of types of identification information that can be identified. The variable display device 8 is provided with a decorative symbol display unit 9, a normal symbol display unit 10, a start-up storage display unit 18, and a passing storage display unit 15, each including a liquid crystal display (LCD display). The decorative symbol display unit 9 has three variable display units, a left variable display unit, a middle variable display unit, and a right variable display unit. This decorative symbol display unit 9 is a variable display unit for displaying the contents of variable display in the relatively monotonous special symbol display unit 9a performed by the 7-segment LED to the player with a higher effect. The special symbol display unit 9a also has three variable display units, a left variable display unit, a middle variable display unit, and a right variable display unit.
[0034]
The decorative symbol display unit 9 is not limited to a liquid crystal display, and is composed of other image display type display devices such as a CRT (Cathode Ray Tube), an FED (Field Emission Display), a PDP (Plasma Display Panel), and a dot matrix. May be.
[0035]
Since the display result of the decorative symbol display unit 9 corresponds to the display result of the special symbol display unit 9a, for example, when the display result of the special symbol display unit 9a indicates a big hit state, the decorative symbol display unit The display result of 9 is also a result indicating a big hit state. In addition, when the display result of the special symbol display unit 9a indicates a deviating state other than the big hit state, the display result of the decorative symbol display unit 9 is also a result indicating the deviating state.
[0036]
In this embodiment, the decorative symbols displayed on the decorative symbol display unit 9 are 10 types of numbers from 0 to 9. The special symbols displayed on the special symbol display unit 9a are also 10 types of numbers from 0 to 9. The identification information variably displayed by the decorative symbol display unit 9 and the special symbol display unit 9a may be any identification information as long as it is identification information such as numerals, characters, figures, patterns, characters, Only numbers, letters only, figures only, patterns only, characters only, or a combination of these may be used. Also, the types of symbols are not limited to ten, but may be ten or less or may be ten or more.
[0037]
Below the variable display device 8, there is an electric starter 14 a having a start opening (hereinafter also referred to as “start winning prize opening”) 14, and an open state in which a hitting ball can be won by tilting the opening / closing plate 20. The variable winning ball apparatus 19 is provided. A movable piece is provided on the left and right sides of the starting electric accessory 14a. In addition, as general winning awards, winning openings 24 are respectively provided at the left and right lower sides of the variable display device 8 and the lower left and right of the game area 7. Further, a passage opening 11 through which a hit ball can enter is provided at the lower left and right of the variable display device 8. Reference numeral 26 denotes an out mouth that collects the hit ball as an out ball when the hit ball does not win the start opening 14, any winning opening 24, or the variable winning ball apparatus 19, and 25 denotes a decorative lamp. It is.
[0038]
On the outer periphery of the game area 7, there are provided a game effect LED 42, a prize ball lamp 43 that lights when the prize ball is paid out, and a ball break lamp 44 that lights when the ball is out of play. Are provided with speakers 41, 41 for generating sound effects such as stereo sound.
[0039]
A hit ball that has entered the passage 11 is detected by a gate switch 12 provided inside the passage. When a hit ball is detected by the gate switch 12, a predetermined random number value is extracted and stored if the stored number displayed on the passing memory display 15 does not reach the upper limit. And if it is a state which can start the variable display of the normal symbol display part 10, the variable display of the normal symbol display part 10 will be started. In addition, when the normal symbol display unit 10 is variably displayed, if the hit ball further enters the passage opening 11 and is detected by the gate switch 12, the variable symbol display of the normal symbol display unit 10 cannot be started. Since it is in the state, “4” is stored as the upper limit of the stored number, and the passing ball (random number or the like) is stored, and the stored number is displayed on the passing storage display 15 by the number of lighting LEDs. Each time variable display on the normal symbol display unit 10 is started, the number of LEDs that are lit is reduced by one.
[0040]
The normal symbol display unit 10 includes a hit normal symbol indicator marked with “◯” and a non-standard symbol indicator marked with “x”. When a random number value (hereinafter also referred to as “count value”) extracted when a ball hits the passage opening 11 matches a predetermined hit determination value, the display result of variable display in the normal symbol display unit 10 is It is determined that it is a “hit”, and a normal symbol display with “◯” is lit. On the other hand, when the extracted random number value does not coincide with the predetermined hit determination value, it is determined that the display result of the variable display in the normal symbol display unit 10 is “out of”, and the normal out of which “x” is attached. The symbol display lights up.
[0041]
When the hit normal symbol display with the “O” mark is turned on, the pair of left and right movable pieces provided on the starting electric accessory 14a is opened once. As a result, the starter electric accessory 14a is in an open state, and the hitting ball is easier to start. If one hitting ball wins when the starting electric accessory 14a is in the open state, the movable piece closes to the original position, and the hitting ball returns to the closed state where it is difficult to win. Further, if a predetermined opening period elapses after the starter electric accessory 14a is in the open state, the movable piece is closed to the original position and the open state is ended even if the start winning is not generated.
[0042]
The start winning ball won in the start opening 14 (hereinafter also referred to as “start winning”) is detected by a start opening switch 17 provided on the game board 6. When the start winning ball is detected by the start switch 17, five prize balls are paid out, and a predetermined random number value is extracted if the stored number displayed on the start memory display 18 has not reached the upper limit. Is done. If variable display of the special symbol display unit 9a and the decorative symbol display unit 9 can be started, variable display of the special symbol and decorative symbol is started. Further, when there is no memory displayed on the start memory display 18, or while the special symbol display unit 9a and the decorative symbol display unit 9 are variably displayed, the hit ball further wins the start port 14 and starts. When it is detected by the mouth switch 17, the special symbol display unit 9a and the decorative symbol display unit 9 are in a state in which variable display cannot be started. Etc.) is stored in the RAM 55 (see FIG. 2) as the hold data storage means, and the stored number is displayed on the start-up storage display 18 by the number of lighting LEDs. Each time variable display of the special symbol display unit 9a and the decorative symbol display unit 9 is started, the number of LEDs that are lit is reduced by one.
[0043]
On the condition that the hit ball has won the start opening 14 (start winning prize), the special symbol display portion 9a and the variable display portion of the decorative symbol display portion 9 are variably displayed (hereinafter also referred to as “update display” and “variable display”). ) Is started. The variable display of the special symbol display unit 9a and the decorative symbol display unit 9 is stopped when a certain time has elapsed. If the combination at the time of the stop display is a specific display mode (for example, “777”, etc., hereinafter referred to as “hit symbol”), it becomes “hit” and is also referred to as a specific gaming state (hereinafter “hit state”). ), The opening / closing plate 20 of the variable winning ball apparatus 19 is opened and the large winning opening is opened. Thereby, it is controlled to the 1st state advantageous for the player who can make a hit ball win a big winning opening. The opening / closing plate 20 is driven by a solenoid 21.
[0044]
A count switch 23 that detects a hit ball that has won a prize in the variable winning ball apparatus 19 is provided inside the large winning opening of the variable winning ball apparatus 19. The special winning opening is divided into a specific winning area and a normal winning area, and a V count switch 22 for detecting a V winning is provided in the specific winning area. The winning ball that has won the specific winning area is detected by the V count switch 22 and then detected by the count switch 23. On the other hand, a normal winning ball won in the normal winning area is detected only by the count switch 23 in the large winning opening. Each time a winning ball won in the variable winning ball device 19 is detected by the count switch 23, 15 prize balls are paid out.
[0045]
On the back side of the pachinko gaming machine 1, there is provided a winning ball collective cover (not shown) that guides the winning balls that are won in each winning opening and the variable winning ball device along a predetermined winning path. The winning ball guided by the cover is supplied to a winning ball processing device (not shown) that processes one winning ball. The winning ball processing device is provided with a winning ball detection switch (not shown), and thereby, the winning ball to be paid out by the winning ball processing device is detected.
[0046]
The first state of the variable winning ball apparatus 19 is either when the number of hit balls that have entered the special winning opening reaches a predetermined number (for example, 10) or when a predetermined period (for example, 30 seconds) has elapsed. When the earlier condition is established, the process is temporarily terminated and the opening / closing plate 20 is closed. Thereby, the variable winning ball apparatus 19 is controlled to a 2nd state unfavorable for the player who cannot win a hit ball. Then, on the condition that the hit ball that entered during the period in which the variable winning ball device 19 is in the first state has specifically won the specific winning area and has been detected by the V count switch 22, the variable winning at that time After the first state of the ball device 19 is finished and becomes the second state, the opening / closing plate 20 is opened again, and repeated continuation control is performed to place the variable winning ball device 19 in the first state. The upper limit number of executions of this repeated continuation control is set to 16 times, for example.
[0047]
When the display result of the variable display in the special symbol display unit 9a and the decorative symbol display unit 9 becomes a special display mode (for example, odd numbered eyes such as “777”, hereinafter also referred to as “probability variation big hit symbol”), ”And the probability of the next big hit is higher than in the normal gaming state. That is, a probability improvement state (hereinafter also referred to as “special game state” or “probability fluctuation state”) that is more advantageous for the player. The normal gaming state refers to a gaming state other than the specific gaming state and the special gaming state.
[0048]
When the display result of the variable display in the special symbol display unit 9a and the decorative symbol display unit 9 is neither a big hit symbol nor a probable big hit symbol, the game state is “disconnected” and the gaming state remains unchanged and remains in the normal gaming state.
[0049]
Further, a reach state (hereinafter also referred to as “reach”, “reach mode”, or “reach display mode”) may occur during variable display of each variable display unit.
[0050]
Here, the reach state includes a variable display device having a variable display unit that variably displays a plurality of types of identification information each identifiable. The variable display unit variably starts the plurality of types of identification information. After that, a plurality of display results are derived and displayed at different times, and in a gaming machine in which the gaming state becomes a specific gaming state advantageous to the player when a predetermined specific display mode is obtained, A display state in which a display result that has already been derived and displayed satisfies a condition for a specific display mode at a stage where a part of the display result has not yet been derived and displayed.
[0051]
In other words, the reach state is when the display result of the identification information in the variable display device having a plurality of variable display units that can change the display state becomes a predetermined specific display mode. In a gaming machine in which the gaming state is a specific gaming state advantageous for the player, the game is performed when the specific display mode is easily displayed at a stage where the display result of the variable display device has not yet been derived and displayed. This is the display state that makes a person think. For example, a state in which variable display by the plurality of variable display units is performed while maintaining the state in which the specific display mode is achieved is also included in the reach display state. Furthermore, some reach is likely to generate a big hit when it appears, compared to the normal reach state. Such a specific reach state is called super reach.
[0052]
In addition, the reach state is out of the display condition that becomes the specific display mode even when the display control proceeds after the variable display device is variably started and the display result is reached before the display result is derived and displayed. It also refers to a display mode that does not exist.
[0053]
The reach state is a display state at the time when the display control of the variable display device progresses and reaches a stage before the display result is derived and displayed, and is determined before the display result is derived and displayed. This also refers to a display state in a case where at least a part of the display results of the plurality of variable display areas that have been satisfied the conditions for the specific display mode.
[0054]
In addition, the reach state is a condition in which a display result of a display area that is already derived and displayed becomes a specific display mode at a stage where the display result is not yet derived and displayed in some display areas of the plurality of display areas. It also refers to the display state that satisfies.
[0055]
The full rotation reach refers to a display state in which variable display is performed in a state where a specific display mode is maintained in all of the plurality of display areas.
[0056]
In this embodiment, as described above, numbers from 0 to 9 are displayed as decorative symbols variably displayed on the decorative symbol display unit 9. In the initial state, one of the storage means described later is a non-probability variable jackpot table in which 0 and even decorative symbols are defined as non-probable variable jackpot symbols, and a probability variable jackpot table in which odd decorative symbols are defined as probabilistic jackpot symbols. Is stored in the control data ROM 102. In the initial state, a non-probable big hit is obtained when the decorative symbols display section 9 is aligned with zero and even decorative symbols, and a probable big hit is obtained when the odd symbols are aligned with odd decorative symbols.
[0057]
As will be described later, when a predetermined condition is satisfied, any one of the decorative symbols defined in the non-probability variable big hit table is selected as the non-probable big hit symbol, and the selected non-probable big hit symbol is changed to the probabilistic big hit symbol. Be changed. This is called promotion. Then, the selected and changed decorative symbol is deleted from the non-probable variation jackpot table and added to the probability variation jackpot table. The promotion will be described in detail later.

[0070]
Commands transmitted from the game control microcomputer 53 to the microcomputer mounted on the prize ball substrate 37 include commands as command information relating to prize ball payout control and commands (command information relating to ball payout control). For example, a ball lending prohibition command, a ball lending prohibition release command, etc.) are included.
[0071]
The game control microcomputer 53 outputs a predetermined sound control command to the microcomputer mounted on the sound control board 70 based on the occurrence of a big hit or winning. In the microcomputer mounted on the sound control board 70, control for outputting a predetermined sound effect from the speaker 41 based on the sound control command is performed.
[0072]
The game control microcomputer 53 outputs a predetermined lamp control command to the microcomputer mounted on the lamp control board 35 based on the occurrence of a big hit or winning. In the microcomputer mounted on the lamp control board 35, the lighting control of the electric decorative part based on the lamp control command is performed.
[0073]
The game control microcomputer 53 mounted on the game control board 31 is based on the detection signal of the winning ball detection switch 99, the detection signal of the start port switch 17, the detection signal of the V count switch 22, and the detection signal of the count switch 23. A prize ball signal for paying out a predetermined number of prize balls is output to a microcomputer mounted on the prize ball board 37. The microcomputer mounted on the prize ball substrate 37 controls the ball dispensing device based on the outputted prize ball signal to perform control for dispensing a predetermined number of prize balls. Specifically, with respect to a winning ball that has won a big winning opening of the special variable winning ball apparatus 19, for example, 15 prize balls are paid out per winning ball, and 1 for a winning ball that has won a winning winning opening 14. For example, five prize balls are paid out for each prize ball, and the prize balls that are won in the other prize opening 24 are controlled so that, for example, 10 prize balls are paid out for each prize ball.
[0074]
The game control microcomputer 53 performs the following control operation in order to control the payout of such three types of prize balls. When a detection signal from the start port switch 17, the V count switch 22 or the count switch 23 is input, the detection signal is used as a payout number determination data used when determining the payout number of the award balls. The number of payouts is temporarily stored internally. Thereafter, if a detection signal from the winning ball detection switch 99 is input, it is determined by referring to the payout number determination data whether there is a detection signal from the start port switch 17 before the input. The game control microcomputer 53 mounted on the control board 31 outputs a prize ball command signal for instructing the microcomputer mounted on the prize ball board 37 to pay out the number of prize balls of “5”.
[0075]
On the other hand, when there is a detection signal from the winning ball detection switch 99 and there is a detection signal from the V count switch 22 or the count switch 23 before that, a game control microcomputer mounted on the game control board 31. 53 outputs a prize ball command signal of the number of prize balls of “15” to the microcomputer mounted on the prize ball substrate 37. Further, when there is a detection signal from the winning ball detection switch 99, if no detection signal has been input from any of the start port switch 17, V count switch 22, and count switch 23 before that, The microcomputer 53 outputs a prize ball command signal for giving a prize payout number of “10” to the microcomputer mounted on the prize ball substrate 37.
[0076]
The payout control microcomputer drives the ball payout device 97 based on the award ball number signal sent from the game control microcomputer 53 mounted on the game control board 31 to the payout control microcomputer mounted on the prize ball board 37. Then, a control for paying out the number of prize balls specified by the prize ball number signal is performed.
[0077]
FIG. 3 shows a circuit configuration in the display control board 80, which includes an LCD (decorative symbol display unit) 9, a normal symbol display 10, output ports (ports 0 and 2) 570 and 572 of the game control board 31, and an output buffer circuit 620. , 62A.
[0078]
The output port (output port 2) 572 outputs 8-bit data, and the output port 570 outputs a 1-bit strobe signal (INT signal). In this embodiment, command data is transmitted by parallel communication (8-bit parallel in this example), but may be exchanged by serial communication.
[0079]
The display control CPU 101 operates in accordance with a program stored in the control data ROM 102. When an INT signal is input from the game control board 31 through the noise filter 107 and the input buffer circuit 105B, the display control CPU 101 displays through the input buffer circuit 105A. Receive control commands. As the input buffer circuits 105A and 105B, for example, 74HC540 and 74HC14 which are general-purpose ICs can be used. When the display control CPU 101 does not have an I / O port, an I / O port is provided between the input buffer circuits 105A and 105B and the display control CPU 101.
[0080]
Then, the display control CPU 101 performs display control of the screen displayed on the LCD 9 in accordance with the received display control command. Specifically, a command according to the display control command is given to a VDP (video display processor) 103. The VDP 103 reads out necessary data from the character ROM 86. The VDP 103 generates image data to be displayed on the LCD 9 according to the input data, and outputs R, G, B signals and a synchronization signal to the LCD 9.
[0081]
FIG. 3 also shows a reset circuit 83 for resetting the VDP 103, an oscillation circuit 85 for supplying an operation clock to the VDP 103, and a character ROM 86 for storing frequently used image data. The frequently used image data stored in the character ROM 86 is, for example, a person, an animal, or an image made up of characters, figures, symbols, or the like displayed on the LCD 9.
[0082]
The display control CPU 101 is connected to a RAM 101A for storing display control command data. When a display control command is received from the game control microcomputer 53 mounted on the game control board 31, the display control CPU 101 Control is performed to move and display a predetermined background and character on the screen. The background and the character are switched at a predetermined timing, and these are also controlled by the display control CPU 101 independently.
[0083]
The input buffer circuits 105 </ b> A and 105 </ b> B can pass signals only in the direction from the game control board 31 to the display control board 80. Therefore, there is no room for signals to be transmitted from the display control board 80 side to the game control board 31 side. That is, the input buffer circuits 105A and 105B constitute irreversible information input means together with the input ports. Even if the tampering is added to the circuit in the display control board 80, the signal output by the tampering is not transmitted to the game control board 31 side.
[0084]
For example, a three-terminal capacitor or a ferrite bead is used as the noise filter 107 that cuts off the high-frequency signal. However, even if noise occurs between the substrates due to the presence of the noise filter 107, the influence is eliminated. The Further, a noise filter may be provided on the output side of the buffer circuits 620 and 62A of the game control board 31.
[0085]
FIG. 4 is a screen diagram for explaining the state of promotion. Here, as a condition for promotion, a case will be described in which outliers are continuously derived and displayed 1000 times (hereinafter, also referred to as “1000 fits”). There are other conditions for promotion, which will be described later in detail.
[0086]
It is assumed that the non-probable variation jackpot table and the probability variation jackpot table are in the initial state. A downward arrow in the drawing means that the decorative symbol display unit 9 is variably displaying the decorative symbol. In addition, the non-probable big hit symbol is blacked out, and the probable big hit symbol is white.
[0087]
Initially, the decorative symbols are variably displayed in the decorative symbol display section 9 (a). When the predetermined time has elapsed, the decorative symbol “4” is stopped and displayed on the left variable display portion (b), and then the decorative symbol “7” is stopped and displayed on the right variable display portion (c). The decorative symbol “2” is stopped and displayed on the variable display section (d), and the deviation is confirmed. It is assumed that the display result of “427” is the 1000th time when the deviation is continuously derived and displayed.
[0088]
Since the condition 1000 for the promotion is established, the decorative symbol display unit 9 displays a screen for notifying "1000 times" (e). Then, in the promotion determination process to be described later, when it is determined that promotion is to be performed and the decorative symbol to be promoted is determined, that fact is displayed on the decorative symbol display unit 9 and notified to the player. In this example, it is determined that “2”, which is a non-probable big hit symbol, is promoted to a probable big hit symbol, and the decorative symbol display unit 9 is notified that “2” has also become a probable big hit symbol (f).
[0089]
If it does in this way, a player can grasp the decoration symbol newly changed into the probability variation jackpot symbol, and can improve the player's interest in the probability variation jackpot.
[0090]
Thereafter, variable display is started in the decorative symbol display unit 9 (g), and when a predetermined time has elapsed, the decorative symbol “2” is stopped and displayed on the left variable display unit (h). At this time, the decorative symbol “2” has been promoted to a probable big hit symbol, and is therefore displayed as a white numeral. Subsequently, the decorative symbol “2” is stopped and displayed on the right variable display portion (i), and finally the decorative symbol “2” is stopped and displayed on the middle variable display portion (j). Since the decorative symbol “2” has been promoted to the probability variation big hit symbol, the “222” doublet becomes the probability variation big hit, and a screen for notifying the probability variation big hit is displayed (k).
[0091]
According to this, if the condition to be promoted is satisfied, the decorative symbol defined as the non-probable big jackpot symbol will be defined as the probable big jackpot symbol, so the probable big jackpot symbol is defined as the non-probable big jackpot symbol. It is possible to make the player feel that the value is added and to increase the fun of the production. In addition, when the control for deriving and displaying the deviation as the display result of the variable display in the decorative symbol display unit 9 is continuously executed 1000 times, the number of decorative symbols defined as non-probable large hit symbols is reduced, Since the number of decorative symbols defined as probability variation jackpot symbols is increased, it is possible to make the player feel that the ratio of probability variation jackpots as a display result of variable display in the ornament symbol display unit 9 has increased. It is possible to improve the player's expectation for.
[0092]
FIG. 5 is an explanatory diagram of each random number. In this embodiment, a plurality of types of random counters are used to generate a plurality of types of random numbers. This random counter has a value of “1” every time the game control program is executed periodically (specifically, every 2 msec), or every time the game control program is executed periodically and at the interruption processing surplus time. Are added and updated one by one.
[0093]
R1 is a jackpot determination random counter used to determine whether or not the display result is a jackpot. R1 (for big hit determination) is added and updated by “1” every 2 msec within the range of “0” to “199”, and is added and updated again from “0” when reaching the upper limit “199”. .
[0094]
R2-1, R2-2, and R2-3 are for predetermining a loss symbol as a display result of variable display performed in the variable display section when a loss is predetermined according to R1 (for jackpot determination). This is a missed symbol determination random counter. R2-1 (for losing symbol determination) is added and updated every 2 msec and every 1 interruption processing time within the range of “0” to “9”, and added up to “9” which is the upper limit. Thereafter, the addition is updated again from “0”.
[0095]
R2-2 is incremented and updated by "1" for each carry of R2-1 (for determining a missing symbol), and is incremented and updated again from "0" when the upper limit of "9" is reached.
[0096]
R2-3 is updated by adding “1” for every carry of R2-2 (for determining a missing symbol), and when it reaches its upper limit “9”, it is updated again from “0”.
[0097]
If the missing symbol determined by R2-1, R2-2, and R2-3 accidentally becomes a doublet, "1" is added to the extracted value of R2-2 (for determining the missing symbol) and forced In fact, it will be a symbol.
[0098]
R3 is a jackpot symbol determining random counter used for determining a jackpot symbol as a display result of variable display performed in the variable display unit when the jackpot is determined in advance by R1 (for jackpot determination). R3 (for big hit symbol determination) is added and updated by “1” every 2 msec within the range of “0” to “9”, added up to the upper limit “9”, and then added again from “0”. Updated. When the count value extracted from R3 (for determining the big hit symbol) is an even number, it becomes a big hit symbol that generates a specific gaming state, and when it is an odd number, it becomes a probability variable big hit symbol that generates a special gaming state.
[0099]
R4 is a random counter for determining a variation pattern used for determining a variation type (variation pattern) in variable display. R4 (for determining the variation pattern) is added and updated by “1” every 2 msec and the interrupt processing surplus time within the range of “0” to “149”, and is added and updated to its upper limit “149”, and then again. The addition is updated from “0”. As for the variation pattern, the type of table to be used is determined by the count value extracted from R1 (for jackpot symbol determination), R2 (for losing symbol determination) and R3 (for jackpot symbol determination), and R4 (for variation pattern determination). The corresponding variation pattern is determined based on the value extracted from (1).
[0100]
R5 is a reach determination random counter used to determine whether or not to generate a reach state when a loss is determined in advance by R1 (for jackpot determination). R5 (for reach determination) is incremented and updated by "1" every 2 msec and the interrupt processing surplus time within the range of "0" to "13", and after being incremented and updated to the upper limit "13", " The addition is updated from “0”.
[0101]
R6 is a normal symbol determination random counter used to determine whether or not to win the display result of the normal symbol display unit 10. R6 (for normal symbol determination) is added and updated by “1” every 2 msec within the range of “0” to “9”, updated up to the upper limit “9” and then added again from “0”. Updated.
[0102]
R7 is a notice determination used for determining whether or not to give a notice that the display result will be a probable big hit when the display result is a random change that will give a probable big hit if the display result is stored. It is a random counter. R7 (for notice determination) is incremented and updated by “1” every 2 msec within the range of “0” to “99”, is incremented and updated up to its upper limit “99”, and then incremented and updated again from “0”. Is done.
[0103]
R8 is an R1 initial value determining random counter used for determining an initial value of R1 (for determining the big hit). R8 (for determining R1 initial value) is updated by adding “1” every 2 msec and the interrupt processing surplus time within the range of “0” to “199”, and after being updated up to “199” which is the upper limit. The addition is again updated from “0”.
[0104]
R9 is an R6 initial value determining random counter used for determining an initial value of R6 (for determining per normal symbol). R9 (for determining the initial value of R6) is incremented and updated by “1” every 2 msec and the interrupt processing surplus time within the range of “0” to “9”, and after being incremented and updated to the upper limit “9” The addition is again updated from “0”.
[0105]
In the random counter shown above, data is extracted at random timing (for example, when a start prize is generated) in accordance with the establishment of the extraction condition defined for each random counter. Thereby, the data extracted from each random counter becomes a random value (random value).
[0106]
FIG. 6 is an explanatory diagram illustrating an example of a jackpot determination table used in the jackpot determination process, an example of a reach determination table used in the reach determination process, and an example of a notice determination table used in the notice determination process.
[0107]
FIG. 6A is a jackpot determination table. The count value of R1 (for jackpot determination) extracted at the timing such as the start winning prize is compared with the jackpot determination value, and when they match, the display result of the special symbol display unit 9 is controlled to be a jackpot. In this embodiment, the jackpot determination value is “3” at a low probability (non-probability change), and the jackpot determination value is “3”, “7”, “79”, “ 103 "and" 107 ". Therefore, a big hit is more likely to occur at a high probability than at a low probability.
[0108]
FIG. 6B is a reach determination table. The count value of R5 (for reach determination) extracted at the timing of starting winning etc. is compared with the reach determination value, and control is performed so that reach is established when they match. In this embodiment, the reach determination values are “0”, “1”, and “11” when the probability is low (non-probability change), and the reach determination values are “0”, “1”, and “11” when the probability is high. 7 ”,“ 9 ”,“ 11 ”, and“ 12 ”. Therefore, the reach state is more likely to occur at the high probability than at the low probability.
[0109]
FIG. 6C is a notice determination table. The notice determination table includes “for big hit” and “for miss”. When it is pre-determined that a probable big hit will be made based on the count value extracted from R1 (for jackpot determination) and the count value extracted from R3 (for jackpot symbol determination), the notice determination table of “for big hit” is Used. In the “big hit” notice determination table, 95 out of 100 determination values (0 to 94) are set as the notice determination values. On the other hand, when the count value extracted from R1 (for determining the big hit) predetermines the loss, the “deletion” notice determination table is used. In the “deletion” notice determination table, five out of 100 determination values (0 to 4) are set as the notification determination values.
[0110]
FIG. 7 is a flowchart showing a game control main process executed by the game control microcomputer 53.
[0111]
First, in steps S (hereinafter simply referred to as “S”) 1 to S14, processing for initial setting for executing control processing is performed. In S1, interrupts are prohibited. Next, in S2, an interrupt mode 2 indicating an interrupt processing mode is set. In S3, the stack pointer is set. In S4, the built-in device register is set. In S5, CTC and PIO are set. In S6, the RAM is set to be accessible.
[0112]
Next, in S7, the CPU 56 confirms the state of the output signal of the clear switch input via the input port only once. If ON is detected in the confirmation, the CPU 56 executes normal initialization processing in S11 to S14.
[0113]
If the clear switch is not in the on state, in S8, when the power supply to the pachinko gaming machine 1 is stopped, a data protection process for the backup RAM area (for example, a process for stopping the power supply such as addition of parity data) is performed. Confirm whether or not. If it is confirmed that such protection processing is not performed, the CPU 56 executes initialization processing. Whether there is backup data in the backup RAM area is confirmed by, for example, the state of the backup flag set in the backup RAM area in the power supply stop process. In this embodiment, if “55H” is set in the backup flag area, it means that there is a backup (ON state), and if a value other than “55H” is set, it means that there is no backup (OFF state). .
[0114]
If it is confirmed that there is a backup, in S9, the CPU 56 performs a data check of the backup RAM area (parity check in this example). In S9, the calculated checksum is compared with the checksum calculated and stored by the same process in the power supply stop process. When the power supply is stopped after an unexpected power failure or the like, the data in the backup RAM area should be saved, so the check result (comparison result) is normal (matched). That the check result is not normal means that the data in the backup RAM area is different from the data when the power supply is stopped. In such a case, since the internal state cannot be returned to the state when the power supply is stopped, an initialization process that is executed when the power is turned on is not performed when the power supply is stopped.
[0115]
If the check result is normal, in S10, the CPU 56 restores the game state restoration process for returning the internal state of the game control board 31 and the control state of the electric component control board such as the display control board 80 to the state when the power supply is stopped. To do. Then, the saved value of the PC (program counter) stored in the backup RAM area is set in the PC, and the address is restored. In this embodiment, it is confirmed whether or not the data in the backup RAM area is stored by using both the backup flag and the check data, but only one of them may be used. That is, either the backup flag or the check data may be used as an opportunity for executing the state recovery process.
[0116]
In the initialization process, first, in S11, the CPU 56 performs a RAM clear process. In S12, a predetermined work area (for example, a normal symbol determination random number counter, a normal symbol determination buffer, a special symbol left middle right special symbol buffer, a special symbol process flag, a payout command storage pointer, a winning ball flag, a ball A work area setting process for setting an initial value to a flag for selectively performing processing according to a control state such as a cut flag or a payout stop flag is performed. Further, in S13, a process of transmitting an initialization command for initializing the sub-board (in this embodiment, the payout control board 35 and each effect control board) to the microcomputer mounted on each sub-board is executed. . The initialization command includes a command indicating the initial symbol displayed on the special symbol display unit 9 (for the display control board 80), a command for instructing the extinction of the winning ball lamp 51 and the ball-out lamp 52, and the like.
[0117]
In step S14, a CTC register provided in the CPU 56 is set so that a timer interrupt is periodically generated every 2 msec. That is, an initial value corresponding to 2 msec is set in a predetermined register (time constant register).
[0118]
When the execution of the initialization process of S11 to S14 is completed, the display random number update process is repeatedly executed in S16 and the initial value random number update process in S17. When the display random number update process and the initial value random number update process are executed, the interrupt is disabled in S15. When the display random number update process and the initial value random number update process are finished, the interrupt is permitted in S18. State. The display random number is a random number for determining the special symbol displayed on the special symbol display unit 9, and the display random number update process updates the count value of the counter for generating the display random number. It is processing. The initial value random number update process is a process for updating the count value of the counter for generating the initial value random number. The initial value random number is a random number for determining an initial value such as a counter for generating a random number for determining whether or not to make a jackpot (a jackpot determining random number generation counter). In a game control process to be described later, when the count value of the jackpot determination random number generation counter makes one round, an initial value is set in the counter.
[0119]
In addition, when executing the display random number update process, the interrupt disabled state is executed because the display random number update process is also executed in the timer interrupt process to be described later, thus competing with the process in the timer interrupt process. Is to avoid. That is, when the timer interrupt is generated during the process of S16 and the count value of the counter for generating the display random number is updated during the timer interrupt process, the continuity of the count value is impaired. There is. However, such an inconvenience does not occur if the interrupt is prohibited during the processing of S16.
[0120]
FIG. 8 is a flowchart showing a 2 msec timer interrupt process executed by the game control microcomputer 53.
[0121]
When a timer interrupt occurs, in S21, the CPU 56 performs a register saving process, and then executes a game control process in S22 to S34. First, in S22, the CPU 56 inputs detection signals of switches such as the gate switch 12, the start port switch 17, the count switch 23, the V count switch 22 and the winning ball detection switch 99 via the switch circuit 58, State determination is performed.
[0122]
Next, in S23, a process of updating the count value of each counter for generating each determination random number such as a jackpot determination random number used for game control is performed. In S24, the CPU 56 performs a process of updating the count value of the counter for generating the initial value random number, and in S25, performs a process of updating the counter value of the counter for generating the display random number.
[0123]
In S26, the CPU 56 performs a special symbol process. In the special symbol process, the corresponding process is selected and executed according to a special symbol process flag for controlling the pachinko gaming machine 1 in a predetermined order according to the gaming state. The value of the special symbol process flag is updated during each process according to the gaming state. In S27, normal symbol process processing is performed. In the normal symbol process, the corresponding process is selected and executed according to the normal symbol process flag for controlling the display state of the normal symbol display 10 in a predetermined order. The value of the normal symbol process flag is updated during each process according to the gaming state.
[0124]
In S28, the CPU 56 performs a process (special symbol command control process) of setting a display control command related to the special symbol in a predetermined area of the RAM 55 and transmitting the display control command. In S29, a display control command related to normal symbols is set in a predetermined area of the RAM 55 and a display control command is transmitted (normal symbol command control processing).
[0125]
In S30, the CPU 56 performs information output processing for outputting data such as jackpot information, starting information, probability variation information supplied to the hall management computer, for example.
[0126]
In S31, the CPU 56 executes a prize ball process for setting the number of prize balls based on the detection signal of the winning ball detection switch 99. Specifically, a payout control command indicating the number of winning balls is output to the payout control board 37 mounted on the payout control board 37 in response to winning detection based on the winning ball detection switch 99 being turned on. The payout control CPU mounted on the payout control board 37 drives the ball payout device 97 according to a payout control command indicating the number of prize balls.
[0127]
In S <b> 32, the CPU 56 executes a storage process for checking an increase / decrease in the start winning storage number. In S33, a test terminal process, which is a process for outputting a test signal for enabling the control state of the gaming machine to be confirmed outside the gaming machine, is executed. Further, in S34, when a predetermined condition is satisfied, a drive command is issued to the solenoid circuit 59. The solenoid circuit 59 drives the solenoids 16 and 21 in accordance with a drive command in order to open or close the starting electric accessory 15 or the opening / closing plate 20 or to switch the game ball passage in the special winning opening. To do. Thereafter, the contents of the register are restored in S35, and the interrupt permission state is set in S36.
[0128]
With the above control, in this embodiment, the game control process is started every 2 msec. In this embodiment, the game control process is executed by the timer interrupt process. However, in the timer interrupt process, for example, only the flag indicating that an interrupt has occurred is set, and the game control process is You may make it perform in a main process.
[0129]
FIG. 9 is a flowchart showing the special symbol process in the 2 msec timer interrupt process shown in FIG.
[0130]
First, in S311, the CPU 56 performs a variation shortening timer subtraction process when performing the special symbol process. In S312, it is determined whether or not the start port switch 17 for detecting that a hit ball has won the start port 14 provided in the game board 6 is turned on. If the start opening switch 17 is turned on, that is, if a start winning that causes the hitting ball to win the start opening 14 has occurred, in S313, after the start opening switch passing process is performed, S300 to S308 are performed according to the internal state. One of the processes is performed. The variation shortening timer is a timer for setting the variation time when the variation time of the special symbol is shortened.
[0131]
In S300, special symbol normal processing is performed. In the special symbol normal process, the process waits until the variable symbol variable display can be started. When the special symbol variable display can be started, the start winning memory number is confirmed. If the starting winning memory number is not 0, it is determined whether or not the result of variable display is a big hit. Then, the internal state (special symbol process flag) is updated to shift to S301 (special symbol stop symbol setting process).
[0132]
In S301, a special symbol stop symbol setting process is performed. In the special symbol stop symbol setting process, the stop symbol after the variable display of the special symbol is determined. Then, the internal state (special symbol process flag) is updated to shift to S302 (variation pattern setting process).
[0133]
In S302, a variation pattern setting process is performed. In the variation pattern setting process, the variation pattern (variable display mode) of variable display of the special symbol in the variable display unit is determined according to the value of R4 (for variation pattern determination). The final stop symbol and information for instructing the variation mode (variation pattern) are transmitted to the display control microcomputer 81 mounted on the display control board 80. Then, the internal state (special symbol process flag) is updated to shift to S303 (special symbol variation processing).
[0134]
In S303, special symbol variation processing is performed. In the special symbol variation process, when a predetermined time elapses, the internal state (special symbol process flag) is updated to shift to S304 (special symbol stop process).
[0135]
In S304, special symbol stop processing is performed. In the special symbol stop process, control is performed so that all symbols displayed in the special symbol display unit 9a are stopped and displayed. Specifically, the display control command indicating the special symbol stop is set to be transmitted. In addition, when it is determined that a big hit will occur in the probability improvement state, processing for setting the probability variation flag to OFF is performed. Then, if the stop symbol is a combination of the big hit symbol, the internal state (special symbol process flag) is updated so as to shift to S305 (pre-winner pre-opening process). Otherwise, the internal state (special symbol process flag) is updated to shift to S300.
[0136]
In S305, pre-opening processing for a special winning opening is performed. In the pre-opening process for the big prize opening, control for opening the big prize opening is started. Specifically, the counter and the flag are initialized, and the solenoid 21 is driven to open the special winning opening. Also, the process timer sets the execution time of the big prize opening opening process and sets the big hit flag. Then, the internal state (special symbol process flag) is updated so as to shift to S306 (processing for opening a special prize opening).
[0137]
In S306, a special winning opening opening process is performed. In the special prize opening opening process, control for transmitting a display control command for the special prize round display to the display control microcomputer 81 mounted on the display control board 80 and a process for confirming that the closing condition for the special prize opening is satisfied. Etc. If the closing condition for the last big prize opening is satisfied, the internal state (special symbol process flag) is updated to shift to S307 (specific area valid time process).
[0138]
In S307, specific winning area valid time processing is performed. In the specific winning area valid time process, the presence / absence of passing through the V count switch 22 is monitored, and a process of confirming that the big hit gaming state continuation condition is satisfied is performed. If the condition for continuation of the big hit gaming state is satisfied and there are still remaining rounds, the internal state (special symbol process flag) is updated so as to shift to S305 (pre-opening process for big winning opening). In addition, when the big hit gaming state continuation condition is not satisfied within a predetermined effective time or when all rounds are finished, the internal state (special symbol process flag) is shifted to S308 (big hit end processing). Update as follows.
[0139]
In S308, jackpot end processing is performed. In the big hit end process, control is performed to cause the display control microcomputer 81 mounted on the display control board 80 to perform display control for notifying the player that the specific gaming state has ended. Further, when the generated big hit is a probable variation big hit, processing for setting the probability change flag to ON is performed. The internal state (special symbol process flag) is updated to shift to S300 (special symbol normal processing).
[0140]
FIG. 10 is an explanatory diagram illustrating an example of a variation pattern. “EXT” indicates EXT data of the second byte in the display control command having a two-byte configuration. That is, each variation pattern of the special symbol and the display control command are associated with each other on a one-to-one basis. “Time” indicates the variation time of the special symbol.
[0141]
The “normal fluctuation” is a fluctuation pattern that does not involve reach. “Normal reach” is a fluctuation pattern with reach. “Reach A” is a variation pattern having a reach different from “Normal reach”. Further, “reach is different” means that a variation mode (speed, rotation direction, etc.), a character, or the like of a different mode appears in the reach variation time. For example, in “normal”, reach is realized by only one type of fluctuation mode, whereas in “reach A”, reach including a plurality of fluctuation modes having different fluctuation speeds and fluctuation directions is realized.
[0142]
Further, “reach B” is a variation pattern having a reach different from “normal reach” and “reach A”. “Reach C” is a fluctuation pattern having a reach different from “normal reach”, “reach A”, and “reach B”. Note that “normal reach”, “reach A”, “reach B”, and “reach C” may or may not be a big hit.
[0143]
In this embodiment, the fluctuation patterns 1 to 14 are used regardless of whether the probability is high (during probability change) or low probability (due to non-probability change). You may make it shorten time. Further, the variation pattern group used at the high probability and the variation pattern group used at the low probability may be separated.
[0144]
FIG. 11 is a flowchart showing a start port switch passing process in the special symbol process shown in FIG. In the start port switch passing process, first, in S41, the CPU 56 checks whether or not the start winning memorized number has reached the maximum value “4”. If the starting winning memory number has not reached “4”, the starting winning memory number is incremented by “1” in S42, and each random number value such as R1 (for determining the big hit) is extracted in S43 and started. Stored in a storage area (special symbol determination buffer) corresponding to the value of the number of winning prizes stored.
[0145]
FIG. 12 is a flowchart showing a special symbol normal process in the special symbol process shown in FIG. In the special symbol normal process, first, in S51, the CPU 56 can start the variable symbol variable display on the variable display unit (for example, when the value of the special symbol process flag is a value indicating S300). If it is determined, in S52, the value of the number of starting winning prizes is confirmed. Specifically, the count value of the start winning counter that counts the number of start winning memories is confirmed. The value of the special symbol process flag is a value indicating step S300 when the special symbol is not variably displayed on the special symbol display unit 9a and is not in a big hit game.
[0146]
If the start winning memorized number is not 0, a notice determination process is performed in S53. In S54, each random number value stored in the storage area corresponding to the starting winning memory number = 1 is read and stored in the random number buffer area of the RAM 55. In S55, the value of the starting winning memory number is decremented by “1”. And the contents of each storage area are shifted. That is, each random number value stored in the storage area corresponding to the start winning memory number = n (n = 2, 3, 4) is stored in the storage area corresponding to the starting winning memory number = n−1.
[0147]
Next, in S56, a big hit determination process is executed. When it is determined in S57 that the display result is a big hit, in S58, the CPU 56 turns on the big hit flag. In S59, the value of the special symbol process flag is updated to a value corresponding to the special symbol stop symbol setting process.
[0148]
FIG. 13 is a flowchart showing a notice determination process in the special symbol normal process shown in FIG. In the notice determination process, first, in S61, it is determined whether or not the probability variation flag is ON. When the probability variation flag is ON, that is, during the probability improvement state, the subroutine program is immediately terminated because no decision is made to give a notice. If the probability change flag is not ON, it is determined in S62 whether or not the advance notice flag is ON. When it is determined that the notice flag is not ON, in S63, a process of setting the start winning memory number as the probability variation big hit determination number is performed. For example, when the start winning memorization number is 3, 3 is set as the probability variation big hit determination number. In S64, a process of setting the inspection number counter for counting the number of contents of the start winning memory to be set to 0 is performed.
[0149]
In S65, a process of adding 1 to the inspection number counter is performed, and in S66, a process of reading a random number value stored in the storage area corresponding to the start winning memorized number 1 is performed. In S67, it is determined whether or not the read random number value is a jackpot for the variable display display result in the special symbol display section 9a. If it is determined that the jackpot is won, it is determined in S68 whether or not the read random number value is a variable jackpot display result of the variable display in the special symbol display section 9a. If it is determined that the random value is to be a probable big hit, the process proceeds to S72. If it is determined that the random number is not a random hit, the process proceeds to S69. In S69, a process of subtracting 1 from the number of probability variation big hit determinations is performed. S66, S67, and S68 constitute specific data determination means. Further, S68 constitutes special determination means.
[0150]
In S70, it is determined whether or not the probability variation big hit count is zero. For example, when the start winning memorized number is 3, when the processing from S65 to S69 is performed three times, that is, when the probabilistic big hit determination is made for all memorized start winnings, the process proceeds to S71. On the other hand, when it is determined that the probability variation big hit determination number is not 0, the processing from S65 to S68 is repeated.
[0151]
Since it is determined in the processes from S65 to S68 that there is no certainty big hit in the start winning memory, in S71 a process for setting a notice determination table for losing is performed, and the process proceeds to S73. On the other hand, when it is determined in S68 that there is a probable big hit in the start winning memory, in S72, a process for setting a notice determination table for big win is performed, and the process proceeds to S73.
[0152]
In the jackpot notice determination table and the loss notice determination table, determination values are assigned to “perform notice effect” and “not perform notice effect”, respectively. In the jackpot notice determination table, a large number of determination values are assigned to “perform the notice effect”, and in the out-of-order notice determination table, a large number of determination values are assigned to “not perform the notice effect”.
[0153]
In S73, a process of extracting a random number for notice determination from R7 (for notice determination) is performed. In S74, a process of comparing the count value extracted from R7 (for notice determination) in S73 with the judgment value defined in the notice judgment table set in S71 or S72 is performed. If it is determined in S67 that the probability variation jackpot is stored during the start winning memory, it is determined to perform the notice effect at a high selection rate using the jackpot notice determination table. Even when it is determined that the probability variation jackpot is not memorized during the start winning memorization, it is determined that the notice effect is performed although the selection rate is low. In this way, the occurrence frequency of the notice is increased, and the player's expectation for the probable big hit can be improved. The notice determining means is constituted by S73 and S74.
[0154]
As a result of comparing the random number for determining the notice with the notice table for determining the big hit or the notice table for losing judgment, when it is determined that the notice effect is to be performed, in S75, the probability variation big hit is stored during the start winning memory. Set a notice command indicating.
[0155]
In S76, the value of the start winning memory in which a random number that is a probable variation jackpot is stored in the notice counter for counting how many times variable display is performed after setting the notice command or the start winning memory in which the probable change jackpot determination is performed is stored. Set the number of In S77, the notice flag is set to ON.
[0156]
When it is determined in S62 that the notice flag is ON, in S78, the notice counter is subtracted by one. In S79, it is determined whether or not the notice count counter is zero. If it is determined that the notice count counter is 0, the notice flag is turned OFF in S80. By such processing, until the notice flag is turned OFF, it is not determined whether or not the probability variation jackpot is stored in the start winning memory.
[0157]
FIG. 14 is a flowchart showing a big hit determination process in the special symbol normal process shown in FIG. In the big hit determination process, in S81, the CPU 56 determines whether or not the probability variation flag is ON. When the probability variation flag is ON, it is determined in S82 that the table at the time of high probability in the jackpot determination table shown in FIG. If the probability variation flag is not ON, it is determined in S83 that the table at the low probability in the jackpot determination table shown in FIG.
[0158]
In S84, a process of comparing the count value of R1 (for big hit determination) extracted in S43 and read in S54 with the big hit determination value in the big hit determination table shown in FIG. In S85, when it is determined that the count value of R1 (for big hit determination) matches the big hit determination value, in S86, it is determined that the display result of the variable display in the special symbol display unit 9a is a big hit, and R1 ( If it is determined that the count value for jackpot determination and the jackpot determination value do not match, it is determined in S87 that the display result of the variable display on the special symbol display section 9a is not a jackpot.
[0159]
FIG. 15 is a flowchart showing a special symbol stop symbol setting process in the special symbol process shown in FIG. In the special symbol stop symbol setting process, first, in S91, the CPU 56 determines whether or not the big hit flag is ON. When it is determined that the big hit flag is ON, in S92, the big hit symbol is determined according to the count value of R3 (for big hit symbol determination) extracted in S43. In this embodiment, each symbol of the symbol number set in the jackpot symbol table corresponding to the count value of R3 (for jackpot symbol determination) is determined as a jackpot symbol. The display result determining means is constituted by S56 and S57 in FIG. 12 and S92 in FIG.
[0160]
In S93, it is determined whether or not the determined jackpot symbol is an odd symbol. When the jackpot symbol is an odd symbol, the display result of the special symbol display section 9a is a probability variation jackpot, and in S94, processing for turning on the probability variation flag is performed. In S95, the jackpot command is set, in S96, the symbol command is set, and in S73, the value of the special symbol process flag is updated to a value corresponding to the variation pattern setting process.
[0161]
When it is determined in S91 that the big hit flag is not ON, in S98, a process for reading a reach determination random number value from R5 (for reach determination) is performed. In S99, the CPU 56 executes reach determination processing. In S100, when it is determined to reach, in S101, a special symbol to be stopped and displayed on the left variable display portion and the right variable display portion is determined according to the count value of R2-1, and the middle variable display portion is determined according to the value of R2-2. The special symbol to be stopped and displayed is determined. Here, when the determined special symbol of the middle variable display portion matches the special symbol of the left variable display portion and the right variable display portion, “1” is added to the random number value corresponding to the special symbol of the middle variable display portion. Then, the special symbol for stopping and displaying the corresponding special symbol on the middle variable display unit is not matched with the big hit symbol. Then, the process proceeds to S103.
[0162]
If it is determined in S100 that the reach is not reached, the off symbol is determined in S102. Specifically, a special symbol to be stopped and displayed on the left variable display unit is determined according to the value read in S54, that is, the extracted count value of R2-1, and the middle variable display unit is determined according to the count value of R2-2. The special symbol to be stopped and displayed is determined, and the special symbol to be stopped and displayed on the right variable display portion is determined according to the count value of R2-3. Here, when the special symbols to be stopped and displayed on the left variable display portion and the right variable display portion are matched, the special symbols to be stopped and displayed on the right variable display portion are shifted by one symbol so that they cannot be reached. To do. Then, the process proceeds to S103. In S103, after the off command is set, the process proceeds to S96.
[0163]
FIG. 16 is a flowchart showing reach determination processing in the special symbol stop symbol setting processing shown in FIG. In the reach determination process, in S111, the CPU 56 determines whether or not the probability variation flag is ON. When it is determined that the probability variation flag is ON, in S112, it is determined to use the table at the time of high probability in the reach determination table shown in FIG. If the probability change is not in progress, it is determined in S113 that the low probability table in the reach determination table shown in FIG. 6B is used.
[0164]
In S114, the R5 (for reach determination) count value extracted in S43 and read in S98 is compared with the reach determination value in the reach determination table shown in FIG. 6B. If it is determined in S115 that the count value of R5 (for reach determination) matches the reach determination value, it is determined in S86 that the reach is determined, and the count value of R5 (for reach determination) and the reach determination value are determined. Are determined not to match, in S117, it is determined not to reach.
[0165]
FIG. 17 is an explanatory diagram showing display control command signal lines transmitted from the game control microcomputer 53 mounted on the game control board 31 to the display control microcomputer 81 mounted on the display control board 80.
[0166]
As shown in FIG. 17, in this embodiment, the display control command is transmitted from the game control microcomputer 53 mounted on the game control board 31 through the eight signal lines of the display control signals CD0 to CD7. Is sent to the display control microcomputer 81. Further, a strobe signal (display control INT signal) is transmitted between the game control microcomputer 53 mounted on the game control board 31 and the display control microcomputer 81 mounted on the display control board 80. A signal line for the display control INT signal is also wired. Note that control commands to other electrical component control boards are also transmitted through eight signal lines and one INT signal signal line.
[0167]
In this embodiment, the display control command has a 2-byte structure, the first byte represents MODE (command classification), and the second byte represents EXT (command type). The first bit (bit 7) of the MODE data is always “1”, and the first bit (bit 7) of the EXT data is always “0”. Note that such a command form is an example, and other command forms may be used. For example, a control command composed of 1 byte or 3 bytes or more may be used.
[0168]
FIG. 18 is a timing chart showing the relationship between an 8-bit control signal and an INT signal constituting a control command.
[0169]
As shown in FIG. 18, the 8-bit display control command data of the display control command is output in synchronization with the display control INT signal. The display control microcomputer 81 mounted on the display control board 80 detects that the display control INT signal has risen, and starts a 1-byte data capturing process through an interrupt process. Accordingly, when viewed from the display control microcomputer 81 mounted on the display control board 80, the display control INT signal corresponds to a capture signal that triggers capture of display control command data.
[0170]
The display control command is transmitted only once so that the display control microcomputer 81 mounted on the display control board 80 can recognize the display control command. In this embodiment, “recognizable” means that the level of the display control INT signal changes, and that it is transmitted only once so as to be recognizable means that, for example, the first and second bytes of the display control command data The display control INT signal is output in a pulse shape (rectangular wave shape) only once according to each. The display control INT signal may have a polarity opposite to that shown in FIG.
[0171]
FIG. 19 is a flowchart showing a display control main process executed by the display control CPU 101. In the display control main processing, first, in Sub1, initialization processing is performed for clearing the RAM area, setting various initial values, initializing a 33 msec timer for determining the display control activation interval, and the like. Thereafter, in Sub2, the display control CPU 101 proceeds to a loop process for confirming monitoring of the timer interrupt flag. As shown in FIG. 20, when a timer interrupt occurs, the display control CPU 101 sets a timer interrupt flag in Sub11. If the timer interrupt flag is set in the display control main process, in Sub3, the display control CPU 101 clears the flag and executes the following display control process.
[0172]
In this embodiment, the timer interrupt takes every 33 msec. That is, the display control process is activated every 33 msec. In this embodiment, only the flag is set in the timer interrupt process, and the specific display control process is executed in the display control main process. However, the display control process may be executed in the timer interrupt process.
[0173]
In the display control process, in Sub4, the display control CPU 101 analyzes the received display control command (command analysis process). Next, in Sub5, the display control CPU 101 performs display control process processing. In the display control process process, a process corresponding to the current control state is selected and executed from among the processes corresponding to the control state. And in Sub6, the process which updates a notice random number counter is performed. Thereafter, the process returns to the process of checking the Sub2 timer interrupt flag.
[0174]
FIG. 21 is an explanatory diagram showing a configuration example of a command reception buffer for storing display control commands received from the game control microcomputer 53 mounted on the game control board 31.
[0175]
In this embodiment, a command reception buffer in the form of a ring buffer capable of storing six display control commands having a 2-byte configuration is used. Therefore, the command reception buffer is configured by a 12-byte area of reception command buffers 1 to 12. A command reception number counter indicating in which area the received command is stored is used. The command reception number counter takes a value from 0 to 11.
[0176]
It is not always necessary to use the ring buffer format. For example, three symbol designating command storage areas (2 × 3 = 6 byte command receiving buffer) and other command storing areas for designating other variation patterns ( (2 × 1 = 2-byte command reception buffer).
[0177]
Similarly, the microcomputer mounted on the sound control board 70 and the microcomputer mounted on the lamp control board 35 may have a buffer format other than the ring buffer format. In this case, the display control microcomputer 81 mounted on the display control board 80, the microcomputer mounted on the sound control board 70, and the microcomputer mounted on the lamp control board 35 are stored in a storage area such as a fluctuation pattern. It is controlled based on the latest command. Thereby, it is possible to quickly respond to an instruction from the game control microcomputer 53 mounted on the game control board 31.
[0178]
22 and 23 are flowcharts showing a specific example of command analysis processing. The display control command received from the game control microcomputer 53 mounted on the game control board 31 is stored in the reception command buffer. However, in the command analysis process, the display control CPU 101 is stored in the command reception buffer. Check the contents of the command.
[0179]
In the command analysis process, first, in Sub21, the display control CPU 101 checks whether or not a reception command is stored in the command reception buffer. Whether it is stored or not is determined by comparing the value of the command reception number counter with the read pointer. The case where both match is the case where the received command is not stored. In Sub22, when the reception command is stored in the command reception buffer, the display control CPU 101 reads the reception command from the command reception buffer. When read, the read pointer value is incremented by one.
[0180]
In Sub23, when it is determined that the received display control command is a special symbol designation display control command to be stopped and displayed on the left variable display portion, in Sub24, the display control CPU 101 performs special display to stop display on the left variable display portion. Data indicating the symbol is stored in the left special symbol storage area in the RAM. In Sub 25, if it is determined that the received display control command is a special symbol designation display control command to be stopped and displayed on the middle variable display portion, the display control CPU 101 displays the stop display on the middle variable display portion in Sub 26. Data indicating the special symbol to be stored is stored in a medium special symbol storage area in the RAM. If it is determined in Sub 27 that the received display control command is a special symbol designation display control command to be stopped and displayed on the right variable display section, the display control CPU 101 stops on the right variable display section in Sub 28. Data indicating the special symbol to be displayed is stored in the right special symbol storage area in the RAM.
[0181]
In Sub 29, if it is determined that the received display control command is a variation pattern designation display control command, in Sub 30, the display control CPU 101 stores the EXT data of the command in the variation pattern data storage area. In Sub31, the fluctuation pattern reception flag is set.
[0182]
If it is determined in Sub29 that the received display control command is not a variation pattern designation display control command, it is determined in Sub32 whether or not the received display control command is a start prize storage number designation display control command. . If it is determined that the received display control command is a display control command for designating the start prize memory number, in Sub33, the display control CPU 101 designates the start prize memory number in the start prize number storage area in the RAM 101A by the display control command. Update to number. In Sub34, the number of start memory indicators 18 is updated.
[0183]
If it is determined in Sub35 that the received display control command is a notice pattern designation command, a process for turning on the notice flag is performed in Sub36. In Sub37, it is determined what the received command is, a corresponding flag is set, and the process returns to Sub21.
[0184]
FIG. 24 is a flowchart showing the display control process in the display control main process shown in FIG. In the display control process, any one of Sub 500 to Sub 506 is performed according to the value of the display control process flag. In each process, the following process is executed.
[0185]
In Sub500, a variation pattern command reception waiting process is performed. In the variation pattern command reception waiting process, it is confirmed whether or not a display control command (variation pattern command) capable of specifying the variation time has been received by the command reception interrupt process. Specifically, it is confirmed whether or not a flag (variation pattern reception flag) indicating that the variation pattern command has been received is set. The variation pattern reception flag is set when it is confirmed by command analysis processing that a variation pattern designation display control command has been received.
[0186]
In Sub501, a decorative design effect setting process is performed. In the decorative symbol effect setting process, a stop symbol and a variation pattern of the decorative symbol are determined. When the special symbol display unit 9a is stopped and displayed with the special symbol indicating the probability variation jackpot, the decorative symbol indicating the probability variation jackpot is also stopped on the decoration symbol display unit 9, but the special symbol combination of the special symbol display unit 9a is stopped. And the combination of the decorative symbols on the decorative symbol display unit 9 do not match. The variation pattern of the decorative symbol is determined to match the variation pattern of the special symbol indicated by the variation pattern command for the variation time of the special symbol of the special symbol display unit 9a.
[0187]
In Sub 502, symbol variation start processing is performed. In the symbol variation start process, control is performed so as to start the variation display of the special symbol on the special symbol display unit 9a. In addition, control is performed so as to start the variable display of the decorative symbols on the decorative symbol display unit 9.
[0188]
In Sub503, the process during symbol variation is performed. In the process during symbol variation, the switching timing of each variation state (variation speed) constituting the variation pattern is controlled, and the end of the variation time is monitored. Also, stop control of the left and right special symbols is performed.
[0189]
In Sub 504, a symbol stop waiting process is performed. In the symbol stop waiting process, if a display control command (special symbol stop display control command) instructing symbol stop is received at the end of the fluctuation time, the symbol change is stopped and the stop symbol (determined symbol) is displayed. Take control.
[0190]
In Sub505, a big hit display process is performed. In the big hit display processing, after the variation time is finished, the probability change big hit display or the big hit display is controlled.
[0191]
In Sub506, the big hit game processing is performed. In the big hit game processing, control during the big hit game is performed. For example, when a display control command for display before opening the big winning opening or display when opening the big winning opening is received, display control of the number of rounds is performed.
[0192]
FIG. 25 is an explanatory diagram of a configuration example of process data set for each variation pattern table. The process data is composed of data obtained by collecting a plurality of combinations of process timer setting values and display control execution data. Each display control execution table includes special symbol control execution data in which each variation mode constituting the variation pattern of the special symbol is described, and a decoration in which each variation mode constituting the variation pattern in the decorative symbol is described. Symbol control execution data is included.
[0193]
The process timer set value is set with a change time in the change mode. The display control CPU 101 refers to the process data, and controls to display special symbols and decorative symbols in a varying manner set in the display control execution table for the time set in the process timer set value.
[0194]
The process data shown in FIG. 25 is stored in the control data ROM 102 of the display control microcomputer 81 mounted on the display control board 80. Process data is prepared for each variation pattern. The process data is prepared for each combination of each variation pattern of the special symbol and each variation pattern of the decorative symbol. Moreover, it is prepared according to the kind of notice effect.
[0195]
FIG. 26 is a flowchart showing a variation pattern command reception waiting process in the display control process shown in FIG. In the variation pattern command reception waiting process, in Sub41, the display control CPU 101 confirms whether or not the variation pattern reception flag is set. If it is set, the flag is reset in Sub42. In Sub43, the value of the display control process flag is changed to a value corresponding to the decorative symbol effect setting process.
[0196]
27 and 28 are flowcharts showing the decorative symbol effect setting process in the display control process shown in FIG. In the decorative symbol effect setting process, the above-described control for promoting the non-probable big hit symbol to a probable big hit symbol is performed.
[0197]
First, in Sub51, it is determined whether or not a big hit command has been received. When the big hit command has not been received, in Sub52, it is determined whether or not the notice flag is ON. If the advance flag is not ON, it is determined in Sub53 whether or not the promotion mode is ON. When the promotion mode is not ON, the process proceeds to Sub54.
[0198]
In Sub 54, it is determined that the big hit command has not been received in Sub 51 and the display result is out of order. The sub 51 constitutes an outlier display mode number counting means. In Sub55, it is determined whether or not the number of miss counters is 1000. Sub 55 constitutes a display mode number determination means. When the loss count is 1000, that is, when the loss is continuously derived and displayed 1000 times, a promotion determination process is performed in Sub56.
[0199]
According to this, the ratio that the probability variation jackpot is derived and displayed is high for the player who is dissatisfied with the display of the variable display in the decorative symbol display unit 9 continuously derived and displayed 1000 times. It is possible to prevent the player from stopping the game.
[0200]
In Sub57, a process of extracting a random number for symbol determination is performed, and in Sub58, the off symbol to be displayed on the decorative symbol display unit 9 is determined. In Sub58a, it is determined whether or not the number-of-promotion counter that counts the number of times of promotion is four. The promotion count counter is provided to limit the number of promotions. In the initial state, there are five decorative symbols defined in the non-probable variation jackpot table as non-probable variation jackpot designs. Therefore, there is an inconvenience that when the number of promotions is increased five times or more, there is no longer a probable big hit symbol, so the upper limit of the number of promotions is set to four.
[0201]
When the number-of-promotions counter has reached 4, in Sub59, a process of adding 1 to the variable display counter that counts the number of times variable display has been performed is performed. In Sub60, it is determined whether or not the variable display counter is 50. When the variable display counter is 50, processing for returning the state of the probability variation big hit table and the non-probability big hit table to the initial state is performed in Sub61. Sub 61 constitutes an initialization means. In Sub 61a, the variable display counter is reset. In Sub62, the decorative pattern variation pattern is determined, and in Sub63, the value of the display control process flag is changed to a value corresponding to the symbol variation start processing, and then this subroutine program ends.
[0202]
By providing the process for returning to the initial state in this way, it is possible to prevent the player from feeling too much about the probability big hit.
[0203]
In Sub53, when it is determined that the promotion mode is ON, the process proceeds to Sub64. The promotion mode is set to ON when it is determined that promotion is performed in the promotion determination process of Sub56. In Sub64, the loss counter is incremented by one. Sub64 constitutes an after-change display mode number counting means. In Sub55, when the deviation counter is determined to be 1000 and promotion is performed in the promotion determination process of Sub56, the deviation counter is reset. Therefore, in Sub64, the deviation counter is newly counted from 0. .
[0204]
In Sub 65, it is determined whether or not the missed number counter is 200. Sub65 constitutes a post-change display mode number determination means. If the miss count counter is 200, that is, if the miss is continuously derived and displayed 1000 times and then promoted and then further misses are derived and displayed 200 times, the process proceeds to Sub66. In Sub 66, it is determined whether or not the number-of-promotion counter that counts the number of times promoted is 4. If the promotion count counter has not reached 4, after the promotion determination process is performed in Sub67, the process proceeds to Sub57 and the same process as described above is performed.
[0205]
According to this, a probability variation jackpot is derived for a player who has been dissatisfied with 200 consecutive derivations as a display result of variable display in the decorative symbol display unit 9 after being promoted by the promotion determination process. It can be felt that the displayed ratio is further increased, and the player can be prevented from stopping the game.
[0206]
In this embodiment, as the display result of the variable display in the decorative symbol display unit 9, the deviation is continuously derived and displayed 1000 times, and when promotion is executed, the deviation counter is reset and newly displayed. Although an example in which the deviation counter is counted from 0 is shown, the present invention is not limited to this. For example, the number of times that the deviations are continuously derived and displayed may be integrated and counted as 1000 times, 1200 times, and 1400 times without resetting the deviation number counter.
[0207]
In Sub52, when it is determined that the notice flag is ON, the process proceeds to Sub68. In Sub68, it is determined whether or not the advance notice flag is ON. When it is determined that the during-notification flag is not ON, in Sub69, the number of times of performing the notice effect is set based on the received notice command in the notice number counter for counting the number of times of performing the notice effect. For example, when it is determined that the random value corresponding to the probability variation jackpot is stored in the third start winning memory, 3 is set in the notice count counter. The promotion determination process is continuously performed for the number of times set in the notice counter. By continuously performing the promotion, the fact that the probable big hit has been memorized during the start winning memorization is notified.
[0208]
According to this, the promotion may be continuously performed, and the player's expectation for the probable big hit can be gradually improved. Further, since continuous promotion is executed when data indicating a probable big hit is stored as a variable display display result in the decorative symbol display unit 9 during the start winning storage, the continuous promotion is executed. It is possible to improve the player's expectation for the probable big hit.
[0209]
In this embodiment, the example in which the number of times of performing the notice effect is set in the notice number counter based on the notice command transmitted from the game control microcomputer 53 is not limited to this. The display control microcomputer 81 may determine the number of times that the notice effect is performed.
[0210]
In Sub70, the process of storing the state of the probability variation big hit table and the non-probability big hit table before the announcement effect and the state of the promotion number counter are stored in the RAM 101A as one of the storage means. In Sub71, the advance notice flag is set to ON, and the flow proceeds to Sub72.
[0211]
In Sub72, it is determined whether or not the number-of-promotions counter is 4. If it is determined that the promotion number counter is not 4, the promotion determination process is performed in Sub73, and then the notice number counter is decremented by 1 in Sub74.
[0212]
In Sub75, it is determined whether or not the notice count counter is zero. The advance notice may be made even when the probability winning jackpot is not stored in the start winning memory. In this case, since it is not determined in Sub51 that the jackpot command has been received, it may be determined in Sub75 that the notice count counter is zero. When it is determined that the notice count counter is 0, in Sub76, a process of returning to the state of the probability variation big hit table, the non-probability variable big hit table before the advance notice stored in Sub70, and the state of the promotion count counter is performed. In Sub77, the in-notice flag is turned off, and in Sub78, the notice flag is turned off.
[0213]
When it is determined in Sub51 that the jackpot command has been received, Sub81 performs a process of extracting a symbol determining random number. In Sub 82, it is determined whether or not the jackpot symbol is an odd number based on the received symbol command. When the jackpot symbol is an odd number, it means that the display result of the special symbol display unit 9a is a probability variation jackpot. In Sub83, the symbol displayed on the decorative symbol display unit 9 based on the probability variation jackpot table is displayed. decide. Sub 81, Sub 82, and Sub 83 constitute special identification information selection means.
[0214]
On the other hand, when the jackpot symbol is an even number, it means that the display result of the special symbol display unit 9a is a non-probable variation big hit, so in Sub84, the decorative symbol display unit 9 is displayed based on the non-probable variation jackpot table. Determine the symbol to be displayed. Sub 81, Sub 82, and Sub 84 constitute specific identification information selecting means.
[0215]
In Sub85, which is initialization means, processing for returning the probability variation big hit table and the non-probability big hit table is returned to the initial state, and in Sub86, the loss count counter is cleared. In Sub87, the promotion number counter is cleared. In Sub88, the warning flag is set to OFF. In Sub89, the notice flag is set to OFF. In Sub90, after the promotion mode is set to OFF, the process proceeds to Sub59, and the same processing as described above is performed.
[0216]
By providing the process for returning to the initial state in this way, it is possible to prevent the player from feeling too much about the probability big hit.
[0217]
FIG. 29 is a flowchart showing a promotion determination process in the decorative symbol effect setting process shown in FIG. In the promotion determination process, first, in Sub91, a promotion determination random number is extracted. In Sub92, it is determined whether or not to promote. In this process, the random number extracted in Sub 91 is compared with a predetermined determination value to determine whether or not they match. If it is determined that they match, the process proceeds to Sub93.
[0218]
In Sub93, the promotion mode is turned ON. In Sub94, a promoted symbol selecting random number used for selecting one of the decorative symbols defined in the non-probable variation jackpot table as the non-probable variation jackpot symbol is extracted. In Sub95, the random number value extracted in Sub94 is compared with the non-probable variation jackpot table, the decorative design to be promoted is selected and promoted. In Sub 96, processing for storing the probability variation jackpot table and the non-probability variation jackpot table after promotion in the RAM 101A is performed. As a result, when the decorative symbol to be promoted next time is selected, the decorative symbol defined in the probability variation jackpot table as the probability variation jackpot symbol is not selected. Sub 94, Sub 95, and Sub 96 constitute identification information changing means. Further, the holding control means is constituted by Sub 96 and Sub 59, Sub 60, and Sub 61 of FIG.
[0219]
In Sub97, a process of adding 1 to the promotion number counter is performed. If it is determined in Sub98 that the notice flag is not ON, in Sub99, a process for clearing the missed number counter is performed, and this subroutine program ends.
[0220]
FIG. 30 is a flowchart showing a symbol variation start process in the display control process shown in FIG. In the symbol variation start process, first, in Sub101, the display control CPU 101 selects process data to be used. Next, in Sub 102, the process timer set at the beginning of the selected process data is started, and in Sub 103, the special symbol is changed and displayed in accordance with the contents of the special symbol control execution data 1. In Sub 104, the decorative symbol display unit (LCD) 9 is controlled in accordance with the contents of the decorative symbol control execution data 1 to display the decorative symbols in a variable manner. Then, in Sub 105, the variation time timer is started, and in Sub 106, the value of the display control process flag is set to a value corresponding to the symbol variation processing.
[0221]
FIG. 31 is a flowchart showing a process during symbol change in the display control process shown in FIG. In the process of changing symbols, when the display control CPU 101 determines that the process timer has timed out in Sub 111, the display control execution data is switched in Sub 112. That is, in the process data, the next set process timer is started, and the VDP 103 is controlled according to the contents of the display control execution data set next. Therefore, the VDP 103 controls the display state of the decorative symbol display unit 9 according to the contents of the display control execution table.
[0222]
In Sub113, if the variable time timer has timed out, in Sub114, a monitoring timer for monitoring the reception of the special symbol stop display control command is started, and in Sub115, the value of the display control process flag is set to all symbol stop waiting processing. Set to a value corresponding to.
[0223]
FIG. 32 is a flowchart showing a symbol stop waiting process in the display control process shown in FIG. In the symbol stop waiting process, in Sub121, the display control CPU 101 determines whether or not a display control command (special symbol stop display control command) for instructing symbol stop has been received. If a display control command for instructing symbol stop has been received, the sub 122 performs control to stop the symbol with the stored stop symbol.
[0224]
In Sub123, it is determined whether there is a decorative symbol promoted by the promotion determination process of FIG. When the promoted decorative symbol is present, in Sub 124, the promoted decorative symbol is displayed on the decorative symbol display unit 9, and control for notifying the player is performed.
[0225]
If it is determined in Sub 125 that the displayed symbol is a jackpot symbol, in Sub 126, the display control CPU 101 sets the value of the display control process flag to a value corresponding to the jackpot display process. In Sub125, when it is determined that the displayed symbol is not a big hit symbol (when an outlier symbol is displayed), in Sub127, the display control CPU 101 corresponds the value of the display control process flag to the variation pattern command reception waiting process. Set to value.
[0226]
When it is determined that the display control command for designating symbol stop has not been received, it is confirmed in Sub 128 whether or not the monitoring timer has timed out. If time-out occurs, it is determined that some abnormality has occurred, and in Sub129, control for displaying an error screen on the decorative symbol variable display unit 9 is performed. And it transfers to Sub125.
[0227]
Next, modifications and feature points of the present embodiment described above are listed below.
(1) In the above-described embodiment, a non-probable variation jackpot table in which 0 and even decorative symbols are defined as non-probable variation jackpot symbols as an initial state, and a probabilistic jackpot in which odd decorative symbols are defined as probabilistic jackpot symbols. The table is stored in the control data ROM 102, and the probability variation jackpot table and the non-probability variation jackpot table that are changed when the promotion is performed in the promotion determination process are stored in the RAM 101A, and the next promotion is performed in the RAM 101A. Although the example which determines the decorative design promoted based on the memorized probability variation jackpot table and the non-probability variation jackpot table has been shown, the present invention is not limited thereto.
[0228]
For example, a plurality of types of predetermined identification information tables may be stored in the ROM 102. FIG. 33 shows a part of a plurality of types of identification information tables. The identification information table (A-1) shows an initial state. When it is determined in advance that it will be a probable big hit or a non-probable big hit, using the identification information table of (A-1), the probable big hit symbol as a variable display display result in the decorative symbol display unit 9 or Suppose you select a non-probable big hit symbol. If it is decided to execute the promotion at this time, one of the identification information tables (B-1) to (B-5) shown in FIG. 33 is selected.
[0229]
In the identification information tables of (B-1) to (B-5), in addition to the decorative symbols defined as the probability variation jackpot symbols in the identification information table of (A-1), they were defined as non-probability variation jackpot symbols. Any one of the decorative symbols is defined as a probable big hit symbol.
[0230]
Then, for example, the identification information table of (B-1) is selected, and the probability variation big hit symbol or the non-probability big hit symbol as the variable display display result in the decorative symbol display unit 9 is used using the identification information table of (B-1). If it is determined that further promotion is to be executed during selection, any one of the identification information tables (C-1-1) to (C-1-4) shown in FIG. Is selected. In this way, every time it is decided to promote, an identification information table used for selecting a probable big hit symbol or a non-probable big hit symbol is selected from a plurality of predetermined types of identification information tables. May be.
