Description
Claims (9)
- 磁界によって晒されている空間で媒体の流速を測定する方法において、
前記空間に隣接して設けられた半導体の電気抵抗をコンピュータによって測定することで、前記媒体の速度を確定し、
前記半導体は、1つのFETのゲート電極として形成されており、前記電界効果型トランジスタは、前記空間の少なくとも1つの境界面に設けられていることを特徴とする方法。 - 前記空間は、管部分の内部空間であり、前記FETは、管壁部に設けられていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 少なくとも2つのFETが、前記管壁部の、実質的に互いに夫々対で向かい合っている位置に設けられており、その結果、2つのFETの間の結合線が、前記媒体の流れ方向に対し垂直におよび磁界方向に対し実質的に垂直に位置していることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の方法。
- 前記媒体が非導電的にかつ電気的に分極可能であることを特徴とする請求項1乃至3のいずれか1に記載の方法。
- 前記FETと前記媒体との間には、媒体とFETとの間の電荷交換を妨げる絶縁層が設けられていることを特徴とする請求項1乃至4のいずれか1に記載の方法。
- 前記絶縁層は、出来る限り小さい誘電率を有することを特徴とする請求項5に記載の方法。
- 永久磁石を用いることを特徴とする請求項1乃至6のいずれか1に記載の方法。
- 少なくとも2つの向かい合って設けられているFETの基板を、同一の電位に置くことを特徴とする請求項3または7に記載の方法。
- 前記FETの可変抵抗によって定められる電気測定回路は、前記媒体に位置している測定区間から導電的に分離されており、外側の測定・評価回路へのインピーダンス整合のために用いられることを特徴とする請求項1乃至8のいずれか1に記載の方法。
