Claims (7)
- ゲームプレイヤが操作する入力装置からの入力に基づいて、画像表示手段によって画面上に表示された移動している移動体の動作方向を変更することにより、前記画面に表示されたターゲットに前記移動体を当てるゲーム装置であって、
前記画面に前記移動体を当てる1以上のターゲットを表示するターゲット表示手段と、
前記ゲームプレイヤによって操作される前記入力装置の操作タイミングを判定する操作タイミング判定手段と、
前記移動体を移動させ且つ前記移動体を移動させているときに変更指令を受けると前記変更指令に応じて前記移動体の動作方向を変更する移動体動作方向変更手段とを備え、
前記操作タイミング判定手段は、前記動作信号に基づいて前記操作タイミングを判定し、予め定めた基準タイミングに対する前記操作タイミングの進み量または遅れ量によって決定した前記移動体の移動方向を指令する前記変更指令を前記移動体動作方向変更手段に出力するように構成され、
前記入力装置は、ゲームプレイヤによって三次元空間内で動作させられるゲーム用具と、前記三次元空間内における前記ゲーム用具の動作を検出して、検出した前記動作に応じた動作信号を出力する動作信号発生手段とからなり、
前記ゲーム用具には光を反射する光反射材料がその表面に配置されており、
前記動作信号発生手段は発光素子と受光素子を備えて、ゲーム機本体内に収納され、
前記ゲーム機本体の上面壁部には、前記ゲーム用具が動作をする前記三次元空間に向かって光を放射する前記発光素子が収納される発光素子収納孔と、前記発光素子から放射されて前記光反射材料によって反射された反射光を受光する前記受光素子が収納される受光素子収納孔とが所定の間隔をあけて設けられており、
前記受光素子は前記発光素子よりも前記上面壁部から離れる下方側に位置しており、
前記受光素子の出力により前記動作信号が作られていることを特徴とするゲーム装置。 - 前記移動体が前記1以上のターゲットに当たったか否かを判定する当たり判定手段を更に備え、
前記ターゲット表示手段は、異なるモード変更条件と表示態様とを有する複数の表示モードから選択された1つの前記表示モードに従って前記1以上のターゲットを前記画面に表示する機能と、選択されている前記表示モードの前記モード変更条件が満たされたことを前記当たり判定手段の判定結果に基づいて判断すると、前記複数の表示モードから次の前記表示モードを選択する機能を有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のゲーム装置。 - 前記ターゲット表示手段は、前記複数の表示モードから予め定めた順番に前記表示モードを選択するか、前記複数の表示モードからランダムに前記表示モードを選択するか、または予め定めた条件に従って前記表示モードを選択することを特徴とする請求項2に記載のゲーム装置。
- 前記複数の表示モードの前記表示態様は、選択される順番が後になるほど、前記画面に表示される前記1以上のターゲットの数が少なくなるように定められている請求項3に記載のゲーム装置。
- 前記複数の表示モードの前記モード変更条件は、選択される順番が後になるほど、厳しい条件になるように定められている請求項2に記載のゲーム装置。
- 前記複数の表示モードの少なくとも1つの前記表示モードは、前記1以上のターゲットを移動させることを特徴とする請求項2に記載のゲーム装置。
- 前記ゲーム用具が、バット、ラケット等のスポーツ用具を模した模擬スポーツ・ゲーム用具または前記プレイヤの足に装着される靴や手の代替えとして用いられる装着タイプのゲーム用具である請求項1に記載のゲーム装置。
