Description

【0001】

[0009]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
(Embodiment 1)
A television receiver (hereinafter also referred to as a television) in Embodiment 1 of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. FIG. 1 is a block diagram illustrating the configuration of the television receiver according to the first to third embodiments, and shows only the portion related to the remote control device. The television receiver body 10 includes a channel selection unit 11, an image switching unit 12A, a display control unit 13, a remote control light receiving unit 14, a program memory 15, a remote control data storage unit 16, a priority storage unit 17, and a remote control priority determination unit 18. CPU 19, image display means 20, and data bus 21. A plurality of remote control devices 22a,... 22e are prepared for the television receiver body 10.
[0010]
The channel selection means 11 is a tuner that selects the TV signal of the designated channel. The image switching means 12A is called a video switch, reads out channel information instructed from any of the remote control devices 22a to 22e from the remote control data storage means 16, outputs it to the channel selection means 11, and outputs the video signal of the selected channel. Is given to the image display means 20. The display control means 13 displays the channel number set in the remote control data storage means 16, and controls the output state of the image and audio based on the control signal (image quality and volume) output from the remote control light receiving means 14. It is.
[0011]
The remote control light receiving means 14 receives infrared modulated light transmitted from any of the remote control devices 22a to 22e, decodes the modulated light, and provides remote control data to each block via the data bus 21. The program memory 15 is composed of a ROM and stores an operation program for the CPU 19 and the like. The remote control data storage means 16 is composed of a RAM, temporarily stores transmission data of the remote control devices 22a to 22e, and gives it to each block.
[0012]
The priority storage means 17 is composed of an EEPROM which is a nonvolatile memory, and stores priority data of the remote control devices 22a to 22e. The data is output via the data bus 21. The remote control priority determination means 18 determines which channel image to display based on the ID number or the remote control number of the remote control device when the channel selection instruction is made substantially simultaneously from the remote control devices 22a to 22e, As will be described in the fourth embodiment, when a plurality of images are displayed at the same time by sub-screen division, the display size (display area ratio) of each channel is determined. The image display means 20 displays an image, and is composed of a CRT, LCD, or the like.
[0013]
A channel selection operation of the television receiver configured as described above will be described. In this embodiment, the priority storage unit 17 is not used. First, a certain operator transmits a remote control signal to the television receiver body 10 using the remote control device 22a, for example. Subsequently, the remote control data received by the remote control light receiving means 14 is stored in the remote control data storage means 16 by the operation of the CPU 19. It is assumed that priority data is added to each remote control number as shown in FIG. 2 in each remote control device 22a... 22e. It is assumed that the higher the priority data value, the higher the priority.
[0014]
When transmitting a remote control signal by operating the remote control device, the priority data of the remote controller is also transmitted simultaneously. The television receiver main body 10 holds remote control data from a plurality of places or one place transmitted in a certain period in the remote control data storage means 16. The remote control priority determination means 18 compares the priority data from the channel (program) already received and currently displayed on the image display means 20, that is, the remote control data already stored and the remote control data newly received this time. . When the priority of the remote control device 22a received at present is higher than, for example, the remote control device 22e received last time, the image switching means is adapted to accept the command of the remote control device 22a and select the channel designated by the remote control device 22a. 12A instructs the channel selection means 11. Then, the entire screen of the image display means 20 is switched to the image of the channel designated by the remote control device 22a.
[0015]
As described above, by assigning a priority to each remote control device, a channel selection right in the television receiver can be given to an operator having a specific remote control device.
[0016]
(Embodiment 2)
Next, a television receiver according to Embodiment 2 of the present invention will be described. The configuration of the television receiver of this embodiment is the same as that shown in FIG. First, an operator transmits a remote control signal to the television receiver body 10 using, for example, the remote control device 22a. Subsequently, the remote control data received by the remote control light receiving means 14 is stored in the remote control data storage means 16 via the CPU 19. Assume that an ID number is added to each remote control device 22a to 22e as shown in FIG. 3A. When a remote control signal is transmitted by operating the remote control device, the ID number is transmitted simultaneously.
[0017]
When such remote control data is stored in the remote control data storage means 16, the CPU 19 reads the ID number and browses the data in the priority storage means 17. In the priority storage means 17, as shown in FIG. 3B, a correspondence table of ID numbers and priority data is registered. The remote control priority determining means 18 refers to the data of FIG. 3B, and compares the remote control data input during a certain period with the priority corresponding to the ID number received from the remote control device 22a this time. If the priority of the remote control device 22a received this time is higher, the command of the remote control device 22a is accepted and a desired channel is selected.
[0018]
As described above, an ID number is added to each remote control device, and the television receiver is referred to by referring to the transmitted ID number and the priority data registered in the television receiver main body by the ID number. The right of channel selection can be given to an operator having a specific remote control device. In the case of the present embodiment, the priority can be changed on the television receiver main body side by rewriting data in the priority storage means 17 without replacing the remote control device.
[0019]
(Embodiment 3)
Next, a television receiver according to Embodiment 3 of the present invention will be described. The configuration of the television receiver is the same as that shown in FIG. First, an operator transmits a remote control signal to the television receiver body 10 using the remote control device 22a. Subsequently, the remote control data received by the remote control light receiving means 14 is stored in the remote control data storage means 16 via the CPU 18.
[0020]
Similar to the second embodiment, the priority storage unit 17 stores priority data as shown in FIG. In the present embodiment, it is assumed that respective remote control signals are transmitted from the respective remote control devices 22a to 22e to the television receiver body 10 over a certain period. For example, it is assumed that channel ch2 is transmitted from the remote control device having ID numbers 1000 to 1002, channel ch4 is transmitted from the remote control device having ID number 1003, and channel ch8 is transmitted from the remote control device having ID number 1004. Then, the data is stored in the remote control data storage means 16.
[0021]
The CPU 19 reads the data shown in FIG. 3B and FIG. 4A from the priority storage means 17 and combines this data with the remote control data held in the remote control data storage means 16, and FIG. Create data as shown. The remote controller priority determining means 18 refers to the data shown in FIG. 4B and totals the remote controller priority for each selected channel. As a result of summing up the priorities (total value), channel ch2 is 13, channel ch4 is 12, and channel ch8 is 1. As a result, the remote controller priority determination means 18 determines channel ch2 as the channel with the highest priority. In other words, the priority of the single unit is the highest (priority 12) based on the total value of the priorities (indicated by the remote control devices 22a, 22b, and 22c of ID numbers 1000, 1001, and 1002 rather than the command of the remote control device of ID number 1003. The command priority is reversed. Note that it is also possible to simply perform majority processing by eliminating the numerical values of the priorities or making them all the same.
[0022]
As described above, an ID number is added to each remote control device, and the transmitted ID number and channel number and the priority data registered in the main body of the television receiver are referred to by the ID number, and the same channel. By weighting and adding the number of commands to the channel, the right to select a channel in the television receiver can be given based on the number of requesters to the specific channel and the priority. This embodiment is particularly effective when a large number of remote control devices are operated simultaneously.
[0023]
(Embodiment 4)
Next, a television receiver according to Embodiment 4 of the present invention will be described. The configuration of the television receiver is shown in FIG. In addition to the configuration shown in FIG. 1, the television receiver main body 10 of the present embodiment is provided with a small screen dividing means 20a. The sub-screen dividing means 20a is called PinP. When simultaneously displaying images of a plurality of channels on the image display means 20, the image signals of the plurality of channels output from the image switching means 12B are temporarily stored and designated display is performed. A plurality of images are divided and displayed based on the area ratio. The display size and display position are controlled by the display control means 13.
[0024]
The priority determination method is the same as in the third embodiment. First, each operator transmits a remote control signal to the television receiver main body 10 using any of the remote control devices 22a to 22e. Subsequently, the remote control data received by the remote control light receiving means 14 is stored in the remote control data storage means 16 via the CPU 19. The contents of channel selection by each remote control device are edited as shown in FIG. Then, the CPU 19 sums up the remote controller priorities for each selected channel. The total priority is 13 for channel ch2, 12 for channel ch4, and 1 for channel ch8. The display area ratio for each channel to be displayed on the screen based on the obtained data is determined as shown in FIG. 6 according to the sum of the priorities, and the channel ch2 is sent to the image display means 20 via the sub-screen dividing means 20a. , 4 and 8 are displayed simultaneously. In this case, the sound corresponding to the maximum screen may be selected or may be selected separately.
[0025]
In this way, the display area of each channel in the television receiver can be given based on the number of requesters to the specific channel and the priority. In the case of this embodiment, it is particularly effective when a large number of images are monitored simultaneously. The channel in this case may be considered as a number indicating a monitoring location, for example.
[0026]
【The invention's effect】
As described above, according to the present invention, by providing specific information for each remote control device, an advantageous effect that the remote control device can be identified and prioritized on the television receiver main body side can be obtained. .
