Description

【0001】
図6(A)は図5(A)のA−A線での断面図、図6(B)は図5(B)のB−B線での断面図である。
【0045】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to an absorbent article having an absorbent body such as an incontinence pad to be worn on the inside of underwear by an incontinence patient, a sanitary napkin that absorbs menstrual blood during menstruation, and a disposable diaper for children or nursing care.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Absorbent articles such as incontinence pads, sanitary napkins, and disposable diapers are desired to quickly absorb the excretory fluid applied thereto and prevent liquid leakage in the lateral direction.
[0003]
The following patent document 1 discloses an invention related to a disposable diaper. In this disposable diaper, containment barriers extending in the vertical direction are arranged at intervals in the horizontal direction on both the left and right sides of the skin-side surface of the flat absorbent main body. It is described that the containment barrier can be formed of the same absorbent material as is suitable for the absorbent body.
[0004]
Patent Document 2 discloses an invention related to a diaper. In this invention, a rectangular diaper main body both side part is bend | folded toward the skin side surface, and a pair of side wall part extended in the vertical direction is formed in the right and left both sides of a diaper main body.
[0005]
In the inventions described in Patent Document 1 and Patent Document 2, lateral leakage of excretory fluid given to the diaper is achieved by disposing a barrier or side wall portion having an absorption function on both the left and right sides on the skin side surface of the diaper. It is possible to prevent.

[0007]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, in the invention described in Patent Document 1, since the containment barriers located on the left and right sides are separate members from the absorbent main body, the containment barrier is individually positioned on the absorbent main body in the assembly process of the diaper. It is necessary to perform a positioning process in the assembly work, and is not suitable for mass production.
[0008]
The thing of patent document 2 can form a pair of side wall part only by folding the both sides of a diaper main body. However, since the both sides of the diaper main body are simply folded, the diaper main body has a shape in which the left and right side edges are parallel to each other. The diaper main body in which the left and right side edges extend in parallel has a shape in which it is difficult to fit between the thighs on both sides in the crotch part. Further, since the width dimension of the front part and the rear part of the main body of the diaper cannot be widened, it is not possible to ensure a wide range of the function of absorbing excretion before and after the crotch part, and there is a concern about the leakage of excretion liquid before and after.
[0009]
Moreover, since the said side wall part is provided over the full length of the diaper main body, the flexibility of a diaper main body is scarce, and the said side wall part tends to give a discomfort to the body in the front and back of a crotch part.
[0010]
The present invention solves the above-described conventional problems, and an object thereof is to provide an absorbent article that is easy to prevent liquid leakage to the left and right sides and that fits easily to the crotch of the body.
[0011]
Moreover, this invention aims at providing the manufacturing method which can manufacture the said absorbent article easily.
[0012]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The present invention relates to an absorbent article provided with an absorbent body having both side edges extending in the vertical direction and front and rear edges directed in the front and rear in the vertical direction.
The absorbent body includes a main body portion and a pair of overlapping portions that are overlapped on both sides of the skin side surface of the main body portion, and the overlapping portion is interposed between the main body portion via a folded portion that extends in the vertical direction. It is formed by being folded from
The overlapping portion extends forward and rearward from both ends of the folded portion.Front extension and rearAn extension portion, the extension portion is located on the inner side of the side edge of the body portion,
A pair of compressions extending in the longitudinal direction in which the absorbent body and the surface sheet superimposed on the skin-side surface of the absorbent body are compressed together at a position equidistant to the left and right from the longitudinal center linePartFormedAnd,
CompressionPartSaidFront extension and rearExtensionThen, each extension partFormed in the area that overlapsBetween the front extension part and the rear extension part, the compression part is formed between the inner edge part of each overlapping part and the longitudinal center line.It is characterized by that.
[0013]
In this absorbent article, since the overlapping portions are formed by bending the left and right side portions of the absorbent body, it is easy to prevent liquid leakage at both side portions. In addition, since the main body part spreads to the left and right on both sides of the extension part of the overlapped part, this main body part can easily follow the body in front and back of the crotch part and fit easily. The absorption range of the excretory fluid can be widened.
[0014]
In the present invention, the outer edge portion of the extending portion and the side edge of the main body portion facing the outer edge portion are cut edge portions that separate the main body portion and the overlapping portion, and the outer edge portion is the folded portion. ofBothForward from endandIt approaches the longitudinal center line as it goes backward.
[0015]
In a preferred embodiment of the present invention, the outer edge portion of the extending portion has a curved shape that swells toward the side edge of the main body portion, and the side edge of the main body portion that faces the outer edge portion faces the outer edge portion. A curved shape that swells.
[0016]
If it makes such a shape, it will become easy to fit the inner surface of a thigh because the both-sides edge part of an absorber has a concave curve part. In the present invention, the outer edge part of the extension part and the side edge of the main body part may be linear.
[0017]
Furthermore, in the present invention, it is preferable that the inner edge portions facing each other in both overlapping portions are parallel to each other and extend linearly in the vertical direction.
[0018]
When the inner edge of the overlapping portion is linear, a region for containing the excretory fluid between the overlapping portions on both sides can be secured long in the front and rear with the same width, and the lateral leakage of the excretory fluid can be effectively prevented.
[0020]
In the present invention, the main body portion and the overlapping portion both have an absorbent core having pulp and a hydrophilic sheet that wraps the absorbent core.
[0021]
In the said structure, a hydrophilic sheet | seat will exist between a main-body part and an overlap part, the rigidity of the overlap part of a main-body part and an overlap part can be made high, and it can be made the structure which is hard to bend the both sides of an absorber. . Further, the excretory fluid is transmitted through the hydrophilic sheet and guided between the main body portion and the overlapping portion, so that the excretory fluid can be held between the main body portion and the overlapping portion.
[0022]
Also, the present invention includes a superabsorbent polymer in the overlapped portion,Before and afterThe extension partThe absorbent core inSuper absorbent polymerCombinedThan weight,It can be configured that the basis weight in the portion excluding the extension portion is larger.
[0023]
If comprised as mentioned above, the absorption capability of the liquid in the part except the said extension part of an overlap part will become high, and it will become easy to prevent the side leakage of a liquid.
[0024]
In the present invention, the weight of the overlapped portion is 70 g / m.2Preferably, the superabsorbent polymer described above is contained, and the maximum value of the width dimension of one overlapping portion is 0.1 times the minimum value of the width dimension of the absorbent body at the folded portion. The above is preferably 0.3 times or less.
[0025]
With such a numerical range, the overlapped portion can effectively exert the function of blocking liquid side leakage, and a large amount of excretory fluid can be retained in the central region sandwiched between the overlapped portions on both sides.
[0026]
Next, the manufacturing method of the absorbent article of the present invention uses a flat absorbent base material having both side edges extending in the vertical direction and front and rear edges directed in the front and rear in the vertical direction, and spaced in the vertical direction. Forming a front cutting line and a rear cutting line from both side edges of the absorbent base toward the longitudinal center line,
The front cutting line and the rear cutting line are inclined cutting lines that approach the other cutting line toward the longitudinal center line,
  A line connecting the end of the front cutting line and the end of the rear cutting line or the vicinity thereof is a folded portion, and a portion surrounded by the front cutting line, the rear cutting line and the side edge is folded back to the skin side surface, Forming an absorbent body having a pair of overlapping portions that are folded back on both sides of the skin side surface of the body portion and the body portion;
The compression which piled up the surface sheet on the skin side surface of the absorber, and compressed the absorber and the surface sheet togetherPartForming the compressionPartIs formed at a position overlapping the overlap portion in front of the end of the front cutting line and behind the end of the rear cutting line. And formed behind the end of the front cutting line and in front of the end of the rear cutting line, between the inner edge of each overlapping portion and the longitudinal center line. And assembling an absorbent article.
[0027]
By forming the cutting line as described above, it is possible to easily form the overlapping portion, and it is possible to form a large area absorption region formed only by the main body portion at the front portion or the rear portion of the overlapping portion.
[0028]
Preferably, the inclined cutting line is formed in a curved shape having a bulge toward the longitudinal center line.
[0029]
Further, both side edge portions of the absorbent base material are parallel to each other and extend linearly in the vertical direction, and as a result, the opposite inner edge portions of the overlapped portion are parallel to each other and straight in the vertical direction. It shall extend in the shape.
[0030]
More preferably, in the method for manufacturing an absorbent article, after the overlapped portion is folded back to the skin side surface of the main body portion, the main body portion and the overlapped portion are bonded.
[0031]

At this time, the incontinence pad 1 exists between the fixing part 8 and the fixing part 8. The folded portions 6a, 6a are raised from the skin-side surface, and the leak-proof walls 16, 16 are formed.
[0044]
Next, the structure of the absorber 20 will be described together with its manufacturing method.
FIG. 5 (A) shows the absorbent base 120, and FIG. 5 (B) shows the absorbent body 20 formed from the absorbent base 120, and each is a plan view seen from the skin side. 6A is a cross-sectional view taken along line AA in FIG. 5A, and FIG. 6B is a cross-sectional view taken along line BB in FIG. 5B.
[0045]
As shown in FIGS. 6A and 6B, the absorbent base material 120 and the absorbent body 20 include an absorbent core 31 and a hydrophilic sheet 32 that wraps the absorbent core 31. The absorbent core 31 is a mixture of a pulp and a superabsorbent polymer (SAP) or a laminate in which a pulp layer and a superabsorbent polymer layer are laminated. The hydrophilic sheet 32 is tissue paper (absorbent paper) or the like.
[0046]
The absorbent base material 120 shown in FIGS. 5A and 6A has a uniform and flat thickness as a whole, and has a right edge 120a and a left edge 120b, and a front edge 120c facing forward and a rear edge. It has a rear edge 120d. The right edge 120a and the left edge 120b are parallel to each other and parallel to the longitudinal center line Oy-Oy. The front end edge 120c has a projecting curve shape that swells forward, and the rear end edge 120d has a projecting curve shape that swells rearward.
[0047]
In the absorbent base material 120, the absorbent core 31 is wrapped with a hydrophilic sheet 32 over the skin side surface and the clothing side surface, and the right edge 120a and the left edge 120b, and is absorbed at the front edge 120c and the rear edge 120d. The core 31 and the hydrophilic sheet 32 are cut together in a projecting curve shape.
[0048]
The thickness and basis weight of the absorbent base 120 may be uniform as a whole as described above, but the front portion of the base ends 121a and 121a and the rear portion of the base ends 122a and 122a, which will be described later, You may form so that it may be thinner than a center part, or a fabric weight may become small.
[0049]
In one step of the manufacturing method of the absorbent body 20, a front cutting line 121 and a rear cutting line 122 extending from the right edge 120 a toward the vertical center line Oy-Oy are formed on the absorbent base material 120. Similarly, a front cutting line 121 and a rear cutting line 122 extending from the left edge 120b toward the vertical center line Oy-Oy are formed. The front cutting line 121 and the front cutting line 121 that are positioned on the left and right, respectively, have the same shape and are positioned symmetrically with respect to the vertical center line Oy-Oy. The front cutting lines 121 and 121 and the rear cutting lines 122 and 122 have the same shape, and are positioned symmetrically with respect to the horizontal center line Ox-Ox.
[0050]
The front cutting lines 121 and 121 are inclined cuttings in which the base ends 121a and 121a are located at the right edge 120a and the left edge 120b, respectively, and gradually approach the rear cutting lines 122 and 122 toward the longitudinal center line Oy-Oy. Is a line. Alternatively, the inclined cutting line is partially included. In the front cutting lines 121 and 121, the absorbent core 31 and the absorbent sheet 32 are cut together from the base ends 121a and 121a to the terminal ends 121b and 121b.
[0051]
Similarly, the rear cutting lines 122 and 122 also have proximal ends 122a and 122a at the right edge 120a and the left edge 120b, respectively, and gradually approach the front cutting lines 121 and 121 toward the longitudinal center line Oy-Oy. It is an inclined cutting line. Alternatively, the inclined cutting line is partially included. And in the rear cutting lines 122 and 122, the absorbent core 31 and the absorbent sheet 32 are cut together from the base ends 122a and 122a to the terminal ends 122b and 122b.
[0052]
Both the inclined cutting lines of the front cutting lines 121 and 121 and the rear cutting lines 122 and 122 have a protruding curve shape that swells toward the longitudinal center line Oy-Oy. In this embodiment, the front cutting line 121 and the rear cutting line 122 are arc curves having a predetermined radius of curvature R from the base ends 121a and 122a to the terminal ends 121b and 122b.
[0053]
A virtual line (not shown) connecting the end 121b of the right front cutting line 121 and the end 122b of the rear cutting line 122 is parallel to the vertical center line Oy-Oy, and the end of the left front cutting line 121 is An imaginary line (not shown) connecting 121b and the end 122b of the rear cutting line 122 is also parallel to the vertical center line Oy-Oy.
[0054]
A portion 123A surrounded by the front cutting line 121 on the right side, the rear cutting line 122, and the right edge 120a is folded back on the skin side surface of the absorbent base 120 with the virtual line as a boundary, and similarly, the front cutting line on the left side A portion 123B surrounded by 121, the rear cutting line 122, and the left edge 120b is folded back to the skin side surface of the absorbent base 120 with the virtual line as a boundary. By folding each of the portions 123A and 123B, the absorbent body 20 shown in FIG. 5B is formed.
[0055]
In the absorbent body 20, the portion 123A folded back on the right side becomes the overlapping portion 23A, and the portion 123B folded back on the left side becomes the overlapping portion 23B. Further, the portion that remains without being folded from the absorbent base 120 is the main body portion 21. The absorbent body 20 is formed by laminating an overlapping portion 23A and an overlapping portion 23B on the left and right sides of the skin side surface of the main body portion 21.
[0056]
In the absorbent body 20 shown in FIG. 5 (B), the edge portion facing the right side at the boundary portion between the right overlapping portion 23A and the main body portion 21 is a folded portion 22a, and the boundary between the left overlapping portion 23B and the main body portion 21 is obtained. The edge part which faces to the left side at the part is defined as a folded part 22b. The folded portion 22a and the folded portion 22b have a linear shape and are parallel to the longitudinal center line Oy-Oy.
[0057]
The overlapping portion 23A and the main body portion 21, and the overlapping portion 23B and the main body portion 21 are bonded with a hot-melt adhesive within a range that does not impede liquid permeation.
[0058]
As shown in FIG. 5 (B), in the absorbent body 20, the linear folded portion 22a is located on the right side, and the curved side of the main body portion 21 faces forward from the front end 22c of the folded portion 22a. An edge 21a and a straight side edge 21c continuous therewith appear. Further, a curved side edge 21b and a straight side edge 21d of the main body portion 21 appear rearward from the rear end 22d of the folded portion 22a.
[0059]
Similarly, on the left side of the absorbent body 20, the curved side edge 21e and the straight side edge 21g of the main body portion 21 extend forward from the front end 22e of the folded portion 22b, and the rear side of the folded portion 22b. Starting from the end 22f, the curved side edge 21f and the straight side edge 21h of the main body portion 21 extend rearward.
[0060]
The folded portion 22a, the front curved side edge 21a and the straight side edge 21c, and the rear curved side edge 21b and the straight side edge 21d serve as the right edge of the absorbent body 20. The folded portion 22b, the front curved side edge 21e and the straight side edge 21g, and the rear curved side edge 21f and the straight side edge 21h are the left side edge of the absorber 20.
[0061]
The absorbent body 20 has the shortest width dimension Wa between the folded portion 22a and the folded portion 22b in a range where the right edge and the left edge face each other, and the front straight side edge 21c and the straight side edge 21g And the width dimension Wc between the rear straight side edge 21d and the straight side edge 21h are both wider than the width dimension Wa.
[0062]
In this embodiment, the width dimension Wb and the width dimension Wc are the same. However, in the case of an incontinence pad, a sanitary napkin or a disposable diaper that absorbs liquid in a wide range from the back of the crotch to the buttocks, the width dimension Wc may be wider than the width dimension Wb. In this case, the length dimension from the lateral center line Ox-Ox to the rear edge 20b is longer than the length dimension from the lateral center line Ox-Ox to the front edge 20a of the absorber 20. May be.
[0063]
When the front curved side edge 21a and the curved side edge 21e of the absorbent body 20 shown in FIG. 5B are separated from each other by the front cutting lines 121 and 121 shown in FIG. It is the formed cutting edge. Further, the rear curved side edge 21b and the curved side edge 21f are cutting edges formed when the portions 123A and 123B are cut by the rear cutting lines 122 and 122, respectively. Further, the right straight side edge 21c and the straight side edge 21d of the absorbent body 20 are obtained by leaving a part of the right side edge 120a of the absorbent base 120, and the left straight side edge 21g of the absorbent body 20 The straight side edge 21h is obtained by leaving a part of the left side edge 120b of the absorbent base 120.
[0064]
Further, the front end edge 20a and the rear end edge 20b of the absorbent body 20 shown in FIG. 5B are the front end edge 120c and the rear end edge 120d of the absorbent base material 120, respectively.
[0065]
The curved side edges 21a, 21b, 21e, and 21f have a concave curved shape that swells toward the longitudinal center line Oy-Oy, and the radius of curvature is the curvature of the front cutting lines 121 and 121 and the rear cutting lines 122 and 122. It almost coincides with the radius R. The straight side edges 21c, 21d, 21g, and 21h are straight lines parallel to the longitudinal center line Oy-Oy. The front end edge 20a and the rear end edge 20b have a projecting curve shape that swells forward and backward.
[0066]
The right overlapping portion 23A includes a central portion 26A having the same vertical dimension as the folded portion 22a, a front extending portion 27A extending forward from the front end portion 22c of the folded portion 22a, and the folded portion 22a. The rear extending portion 28 </ b> A extends rearward from the rear end portion 22 d. Similarly, the left overlapping portion 23B has a central portion 26B, a front extending portion 27B, and a rear extending portion 28B.
[0067]
The front extending portion 27A and its outer edge portion 23a are located away from the curved side edge 21a of the main body portion 21 toward the longitudinal center line Oy-Oy, and the outer edge portion 23a and the curved side edge are located. Only the main body portion 21 appears between 21a. The outer edge portion 23a is a cutting edge portion that is formed when the outer edge portion 23a is separated from the main body portion 21 by a front cutting line 121 shown in FIG. Therefore, the outer edge portion 23a has a protruding curve shape that swells toward the curved side edge 21a, and the radius of curvature thereof substantially coincides with R. The relationship between the rear extension portion 28A and the outer edge portion 23b and the curved side edge 21b is the same as that of the front extension portion 27A. The same applies to the left front extension 27B and its outer edge 23c, and the rear extension 28B and its outer edge 23d.
[0068]
The inner edge portion 23e of the right overlapping portion 23A and the inner edge portion 23f of the left overlapping portion 23B extend linearly in the vertical direction, are parallel to each other, and are parallel to the vertical center line Oy-Oy. The inner edge portion 23e and the inner edge portion 23f are formed by a part of the right edge 120a and the left edge 120b of the absorbent base 120 shown in FIG.
[0069]
As shown in FIGS. 3 and 4, the incontinence pad 1 is assembled using the absorbent body 20. At this time, the liquid guide body 4 is overlapped with the inner edge portion 23 e of the overlapping portion 23 </ b> A of the absorbent body 20. It arrange | positions so that it may overlap with the skin side surface of the main-body part 21 between the inner edge parts 23f of the part 23B.
[0070]
The front compression part 12 and the rear compression part 13 shown in FIG. 2 are formed between the inner edge part 23e and the inner edge part 23f. Further, the side compression parts 11 and 11 are formed between the inner edge part 23e and the inner edge part 23f in the vicinity of the lateral center line Ox-Ox (see FIG. 4), and are overlapped in the front and rear directions. It is formed in a region overlapping the front extension 27A and the rear extension 28A of the portion 23A and the front extension 27B and the rear extension 28B of the overlapping portion 23B.Yes.
[0071]
Next, although an example of the raw material which forms each said member is demonstrated, this invention is not limited to the following raw materials.
[0072]
The absorbent core 31 of the absorbent body 20 is formed of pulp and SAP. The blending of pulp and SAP can be arbitrarily set according to the type of excretory fluid to be absorbed, but when the excretory fluid to be absorbed is urine, the blending mass ratio of pulp and SAP is 3 : Adjusted within the range of 7 to 7: 3. The absorbent sheet 32 of the absorbent body 20 is tissue paper (absorbent paper).
[0073]
In addition, in the overlapping portion 23A, it is preferable that the basis weight combining the pulp and the SAP in the central portion 26A is larger than the basis weight combining the pulp and the SAP in the front extension portion 27A and the rear extension portion 28A. Similarly, in the overlapping portion 23B, it is preferable that the basis weight combining the pulp and SAP at the central portion 26B is larger than the basis weight combining the pulp and SAP at the front extension portion 27B and the rear extension portion 28B. In FIG. 5B, a portion where the basis weight of the pulp and the SAP is large is indicated by being surrounded by a broken line.
[0074]
By reducing the weight of the front extending portions 27A, 27B and the rear extending portions 28A, 28B, this portion can be easily deformed freely in accordance with the crotch portion of the body, and the weight of the central portions 26A, 26B is relatively reduced. By increasing the size, it becomes possible to prevent the liquid from leaking sideways.
[0075]
The SAP and pulp basis weight of the absorbent body 20 can be arbitrarily selected according to the type of excretory fluid to be absorbed and the overall size, but as in the above-described embodiment, the incontinence pad for the purpose of absorbing urine In the case of 1, the basis weight of SAP in the central portions 26A and 26B of the overlapping portions 23A and 23B is 70 g / m.2The above is preferable. There is no particular upper limit, but for example 350 g / m2It is as follows. The total weight of pulp and SAP at the central portions 26A and 26B is 140 g / m.2The upper limit is preferably 700 g / m, for example.2It is.
[0076]
The width dimension of the overlapping portions 23A and 23B with respect to the width dimension Wa of the absorbent body 20 shown in FIG. 5B is preferably 0.1 times or more and 0.3 times or less. If it is the said range, it is easy to prevent the excretion fluids, such as urine, given between the overlap part 23A and the overlap part 23B from leaking to the side.
[0077]
The width dimension Wa of the absorbent body 20 is about 40 to 100 mm, and the width dimension Wb or Wc is preferably 1.2 times or more of the width dimension Wa. Further, with respect to the longitudinal length La of the central portions 26A and 26B of the overlapping portions 23A and 23B, the longitudinal length Lb of the extending portions 27A, 27B, 28A and 28B is 0.2. It is preferable that it is twice or more. For example, the length La is 40 mm or more, more preferably 50 mm or more.
[0078]
The liquid guide 4 is capable of allowing liquid such as urine to reach the absorber 20 by its own weight, and is a core-sheath type composite synthetic fiber having a core part made of polypropylene and a sheath part made of polyethylene, or a core part made of polyethylene terephthalate. The sheath is composed of an air-through non-woven fabric formed of hydrophilicly heat-bondable fibers such as polyethylene-core-sheath composite synthetic fibers. In the incontinence pad 1 according to the above-described embodiment, two air-through nonwoven fabrics are stacked and further folded so as to form three layers.
[0079]
By using the liquid guide 4, the central portion of the skin-side surface of the incontinence pad 1 becomes bulky, that is, the portion sandwiched between the left and right overlapping portions 23A and 23B can be made bulky. It becomes difficult to form a gap between the excretory part.
[0080]
The 1st surface sheet 5a and the 2nd surface sheet 5b are air through nonwoven fabrics, for example, the fabric weight of the 1st surface sheet 5a is 25 g / m.2And the basis weight of the second surface sheet 5b is 20 g / m.2It is.
[0081]
The side sheet 6 is a hydrophobic or water-repellent nonwoven fabric, and for example, an air-through nonwoven fabric, a spunbond nonwoven fabric, or a composite nonwoven fabric in which a spunbond nonwoven fabric and a melt blown nonwoven fabric are laminated and fixed are used.
[0082]
Next, the liquid absorption function of the incontinence pad 1 will be described.
The incontinence pad 1 is fixed to the inside of the crotch portion of the underwear via the pressure sensitive adhesive layers 3 and 3 provided on the surface of the back sheet 2 and is installed in the crotch portion of the woman. In this incontinence pad 1, overlapping portions 23 </ b> A and 23 </ b> B are provided on both the left and right sides of the absorbent body 20, and the weight of the left and right side portions of the absorbent body 20 is increased. However, since the liquid guide 4 is provided between the overlapping portions 23A and 23B so that the liquid easily falls inside due to cushioning properties, the central portion having the liquid guide 4 becomes bulky, and this portion is between the crotch. It fits the excretion part of the part, and the touch feeling given to the crotch part becomes soft.
[0083]
Further, in front of the overlapping portions 23A and 23B, tapered forward extending portions 27A and 27B whose width dimension gradually decreases toward the front end edge 1c are formed, and behind the overlapping portions 23A and 23B, Tapered rearward extending portions 28A and 28B are formed with the width dimension gradually decreasing toward the edge 1d. Therefore, the region sandwiched between the left and right overlapping portions 23A and 23B can be secured long in the vertical direction, and the front extending portions 27A and 27B and the rear extending portions 28A and 28B follow the curved shape of the crotch portion. It becomes easy to deform | transform, and the front extension part 27A, 27B and the back extension part 28A, 28B are hard to give a discomfort to a body.
[0084]
Moreover, the wide main body part 21 is located on both outer sides of the outer edge portions 23a and 23c of the front extending portions 27A and 27B. This part is soft, and can be deformed and fitted flexibly in a wide range from side to side in the front and lower abdomen of the crotch.
[0085]
Similarly, since only the main body portion 21 extends to the left and right of the left and right sides of the rear extension portions 28A and 28B, the rear portion of the incontinence pad 1 can be flexibly deformed from the back of the crotch portion to the buttocks to easily fit. Become.
[0086]
Moreover, since the inner edge portion 23e and the inner edge portion 23f, which are opposite edges of the overlapping portion 23A and the overlapping portion 23B, are parallel to each other and extend in the longitudinal direction, the overlapping portion 23A and the overlapping portion 23B extend over a long range in the front and rear directions. Can function to effectively prevent leakage of excretory fluid in the lateral direction.
[0087]
That is, the incontinence pad 1 has both left and right side edges of the absorbent body 20 even though the opposing regions of the overlapped portions 23A and 23B provided on the left and right sides of the absorbent body 20 are long in the vertical direction. Is a concave curve similar to the side edges 1 a and 1 b on both sides of the incontinence pad 1. Therefore, the shape of the crotch between the thighs can be followed, and the side leakage prevention function is high.
[0088]
The excreted urine passes through the top sheet 5, falls on the liquid guide 4 with its own weight, and is absorbed by the main body portion 21 and the left and right overlapping portions 23A and 23B of the absorber 20. At this time, the urine that has passed through the liquid guide 4 is retained between the overlapped portion 23A and the overlapped portion 23B, and is difficult to leak to the side. When the absorbent body 20 formed of pulp and SAP absorbs a relatively large amount of liquid in the initial stage, the absorption speed of the liquid thereafter decreases, but by absorbing the liquid in the initial stage, the left and right overlapping portions 23A and 23B Is expanded, and the step between the surfaces of the overlapping portions 23A and 23A and the surface of the main body portion 21 can be maintained high. Therefore, the liquid given thereafter can be stored in the step, and side leakage can be sufficiently prevented even when a large amount of urine is given.
[0089]

[0093]
The absorbent base material 160 shown in FIG. 8A has the same planar shape as the absorbent base material 120 shown in FIG. 5A and the cut shape of the front cutting line 121 and the rear cutting line 122.
[0094]
In the absorbent base material 160 shown in FIG. 8A, a thin-walled portion in which the weight of the absorbent core 31 is reduced from the imaginary line portion connecting the end 121b of the front cutting line 121 and the end 122b of the rear cutting line 122 to both side edges. 161, 161 are formed.
[0095]
FIG. 8B shows the absorbent body 60 formed from the absorbent base material 160, but the absorbent base material 160 is easily folded at the portions of the thin portions 161 and 161. Further, the weight of the overlapping portions 23A and 23B can be adjusted smaller than the weight of the main body portion 21.
