Description
矩形形状に切断され、光学フィルム層と粘着層とで形成された積層シートの切断面を切削仕上げする積層シートの切削加工方法であって、
前記矩形形状の4つの角のうちの少なくとも1つをR状に切削仕上げし、かつ、切削加工の制御を倣い制御により行うことを特徴とするものである。
図1は、積層シートの切断面 (端面)を切削する場合の切削装置の構成を示す概念図である。切削手段としての回転刃物5は1つだけ設けられており、この回転刃物5と同芯に倣いローラー4が設けられている。一方、積層シート1は倣い型3に適宜の手段により取り付けられている。倣い型3と積層シート1とは、所定の回転軸芯周りに、θ方向に回転移動可能(図1では時計方向回転)に構成されている。
積層シートとしては、粘着剤により各種部材を積層したものを特に制限なく使用できるが、本発明では光学部材への適用が好適である。
本発明における矩形には、長方形のみならず正方形、台形、平行四辺形も含まれるものとする。

Claims (4)
- 矩形形状に切断され、光学フィルム層と粘着層とで形成された積層シートの切断面を切削仕上げする積層シートの切削加工方法であって、
前記矩形形状の4つの角のうちの少なくとも1つをR状に切削仕上げし、かつ、切削加工の制御を倣い制御により行うことを特徴とする積層シートの切削加工方法。 - Rの半径は0.8mm以上2.0mm未満に形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の積層シートの切削加工方法。
- R状に切削仕上げする角の数とRの半径の大きさを制御することで、積層シートの識別を可能にしたことを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の積層シートの切削加工方法。
- 積層シートを複数枚重ねた状態で、複数枚分の切断面をまとめて切削することを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の積層シートの切削加工方法。
