Claims (2)
- エンジンの排気系に設けられた温度センサを点検する装置であって、
エンジン水温が高いほど低い領域が選択されるエンジン負荷領域に基づいて、温度センサを点検する条件が成立しているかどうかを判定する手段と、
前記条件が成立している場合は、エンジン水温に応じた所定の時間、前記条件の成立が継続するとき、前記温度センサの出力を点検し、該温度センサの特性に従った出力を出しているかどうかを判定する手段と、を備える温度センサの点検装置。 - 前記エンジンは、ディーゼル・エンジンであり、前記温度センサは、酸化触媒の前方に配置された温度センサまたはパティキュレート・フィルタの入り口に配置された温度センサである、請求項1に記載の点検装置。
