【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a sustained-release antibacterial agent suitably used for slime prevention and the like.
[0002]
[Prior art]
During the cooling operation of the indoor unit of the air conditioner, water vapor in the indoor air is condensed on the surface of the evaporator, and drainage is generated. This drain is stored in a drain pan disposed below the evaporator. When the water in the drain pan ceases cooling operation, for example, in the summer, at night, in a temperature environment of 20 to 30 ° C., microorganisms propagate in the water in the drain pan, and the sticky substance (called slime) However, it occurs and spreads in the drain pan. Such slime clogs the pump for draining water from the drain pan and causes failure.
[0003]
In the prior art, the drain pan is periodically removed from the main body of the indoor unit and cleaned. In this prior art, when the indoor unit is a ceiling installation type, it is necessary to frequently attach and detach the drain pan at a high place on the ceiling, and workability is poor.
[0004]
In order to solve this problem, an anti-slime agent is added to prevent slime from being generated in the water in the drain pan.
[0005]
A typical prior art is disclosed in US Pat. No. 2,727,669. In this prior art, since benzalkonium chloride is water-soluble, in a configuration consisting only of benzalkonium chloride, benzalkonium chloride elutes in a short time and cannot be used for a long time. In order to solve this problem, it has a structure formed by adding animal or vegetable wax to benzalkonium chloride. In this prior art, the effect of preventing the propagation of microorganisms in the flowing condensed water for a long time is unknown, and the reliability is poor. Such a problem occurs not only in connection with the dew condensation water of the indoor unit of the air conditioner, but the same problem also occurs in the dew condensation water rich in nutrients and other liquids in the kitchen, kitchen and the like.
[0006]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
An object of the present invention is to provide a sustained-release antibacterial agent that controls elution of a quaternary ammonium salt such as benzalkonium chloride so that sustained release can be stably maintained over a long period of time.
[0007]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The present invention comprises (a) an inner layer containing a quaternary ammonium salt;
(B) an outer layer containing a water-soluble substance and a synthetic resin ,
The water-soluble substance is
A quaternary ammonium salt, or
Polyethylene glycol,
The synthetic resin is a sustained-release antibacterial agent having an outer layer that is a silicone resin .
[0008]
According to the present invention, the sustained-release antibacterial agent is composed of two or more layers including an inner layer and an outer layer, and the inner layer contains a quaternary ammonium salt such as benzalkonium chloride and benzethonium chloride, It coat | covers with an outer layer, and an outer layer contains a water-soluble substance and a synthetic resin. By immersing the sustained-release antibacterial agent in the flow path of the dew condensation water such as in the drain pan that receives the drain that is the dew condensation water of the evaporator in the indoor unit of the air conditioner, the water-soluble substance of the outer layer is first eluted, The quaternary ammonium salt is eluted into a liquid to be antibacterial such as condensed water through pores formed after the water-soluble substance in the outer layer is eluted. The pores of such an outer layer are fine, and therefore the elution of the quaternary ammonium salt into water can be controlled so as to maintain a sustained release property stably over a long period of time. The synthetic resin is insoluble in water. This synthetic resin may have a characteristic that the quaternary ammonium salt elutes due to a crack generated in the production process.
According to the present invention, the molecular weight of the water-soluble substance is 356 or more, which is the molecular weight of benzalkonium chloride, thereby suppressing the elution rate into water more than quaternary ammonium salts such as benzalkonium chloride. it can. Such a water-soluble substance may be a quaternary ammonium salt such as benzalkonium chloride itself, but may be, for example, polyethylene glycol having a molecular weight of 6000 or more.
[0009]
In the present invention, the quaternary ammonium salt in the inner layer is benzalkonium chloride.
[0010]
According to the present invention, the quaternary ammonium salt constituting the inner layer is benzalkonium chloride.
[0011]
The inner layer may consist of only a quaternary ammonium salt, but by further containing a silicone resin, the elution rate of quaternary ammonium salts such as benzalkonium chloride into water can be controlled more accurately. The silicone resin of the inner layer may be a room temperature curable silicone resin, that is, a soft silicone resin, but may be a curable silicone resin. The aforementioned soft silicone resin is commercially available, for example, in a tube, and has a property of reacting with moisture in the air and solidifying when taken out from the tube. The curable silicone resin has a property that it hardens and hardens when the powder is once melted at a high temperature and then cooled to room temperature.
[0016]
In the invention, the synthetic resin constituting the outer layer is a soft or curable silicone resin.
[0017]
According to the present invention, the synthetic resin contained in the outer layer is preferably a soft silicone resin, and the soft silicone resin is, for example, a room temperature curable silicone resin, and is a water-soluble substance mixed with the soft silicone resin. The quaternary ammonium salt such as benzalkonium chloride in the inner layer elutes into water through the pores formed by eluting into the water. In another embodiment of the present invention, a silicone resin other than a soft silicone resin may be used, for example, a curable silicone resin that is a modified silicone varnish. The curable silicone resin forms pores by elution of water-soluble substances mixed with the curable silicone resin into water, and the quaternary ammonium salt of the inner layer is also converted into water by cracks generated in the manufacturing process. Elute. The synthetic resin contained in the outer layer may be a synthetic resin other than a silicone resin.
[0018]
In the present invention, the mixing weight ratio of the water-soluble substance and the synthetic resin constituting the outer layer is 10/90 to 35/65.
[0019]
According to the present invention, the elution of the quaternary ammonium salt into water is more effectively controlled by setting the mixing weight ratio of the water-soluble substance constituting the outer layer and the synthetic resin to 10/90 to 35/65. be able to. Further, a more preferable mixing weight ratio of the water-soluble substance and the synthetic resin is 15/85 to 30/70.
[0020]
Further, in the present invention, the inner layer includes, in addition to a quaternary ammonium salt, a water-soluble substance that is the same as the water-soluble substance, and a synthetic resin that is the same as the synthetic resin,
As becomes outwardly from the inside, it characterized by choosing smaller the mixing ratio of quaternary ammonium salt.
[0021]
According to the present invention, the mixing ratio of the quaternary ammonium salt such as benzalkonium chloride and benzethonium chloride is selected to be smaller as it goes from the inside to the outside, and thus the concentration is the mixing ratio of the quaternary ammonium salt inside. Is larger than the outside. Therefore, the quaternary ammonium salt that elutes in the water from the outside to the inside in the water extends inward and moves along the long pore with a large flow resistance. Since the concentration of quaternary ammonium salt is high, the elution concentration of the quaternary ammonium salt in water can be maintained stably, and sustained release can be achieved over a long period.

【The invention's effect】
According to the present invention, the water-soluble substance in the outer layer elutes in water, so that the quaternary ammonium salt such as benzalkonium chloride in the inner layer elutes into water through the pores in the outer layer. Maintains stable sustained release over a long period of time, prevents the growth of microorganisms, and reliably prevents slime.
