Description

【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to an air conditioner that achieves air conditioning in an air-conditioned room provided with an indoor unit. Specifically, the present invention relates to an air conditioner that operates by detecting a person in an air-conditioned room.
[0002]
[Prior art]
An air conditioner (hereinafter referred to as an “air conditioner”) blows out temperature-controlled air by passing through a heat exchanger of an indoor unit (indoor unit) provided in the air-conditioned room, thereby air in the air-conditioned room. It is designed to harmonize.
[0003]
In such an air conditioner, the air-conditioned room is in a desired air-conditioning state by performing an air-conditioning operation so that the room has a set temperature in an operation mode set by a remote control switch or the like.
[0004]
On the other hand, the indoor unit of the air conditioner is provided with a flap at the air outlet so that the temperature-controlled air (air conditioned air) can be blown out in any direction in the room. In such a flap, in addition to the upper and lower flaps that change the blowing direction of the conditioned air in the vertical direction, the blowing direction of the conditioned air can be changed in the left and right direction.
[0005]
In addition, when air-conditioning operation using an air conditioner is performed, a comfortable air-conditioning feeling can be obtained even if an air conditioner with a low air-conditioning capacity is used for the size of the air-conditioned room by blowing the air-conditioned air in the direction where the person is present. Efficient air conditioning operation is possible. For this reason, in the air conditioner provided with the left and right flaps, the conditioned air can be spread throughout the room by swinging the left and right flaps.
[0006]
By the way, an air conditioner is attached to an indoor unit with an infrared human detection sensor, and it is judged whether there is a person in the air-conditioned room where the indoor unit is installed. There are some that are designed to save energy. Such a human detection sensor has a wide detectable range so that the entire area of the air-conditioned room can be a detection range.
[0007]
However, in order to efficiently blow the conditioned air toward the entire area of the air-conditioned room, it is preferable to arrange the indoor unit at the center of the wall surface of the air-conditioned room. In addition, it may be difficult to install the indoor unit at the center of the air-conditioned room. That is, the indoor unit may have to be installed near the wall.
[0008]
In such a case, for example, when the left and right flaps are swung, the human detection sensor erroneously detects by the conditioned air blown to the wall surface adjacent to the indoor unit, and there is a person when there is no person and needs to stop. Judgment continues and air-conditioning operation is continued, power is consumed wastefully, and an energy saving effect cannot be obtained.
[0009]
In addition, when an indoor unit is installed in the corner of the air-conditioned room, if the left and right flaps are swung, air-conditioned air may be blown toward the wall where no one is present, making efficient air conditioning difficult. It may end up.
[0010]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
The present invention has been made in view of the above facts, and an object thereof is to propose an air conditioner that prevents erroneous detection of a human detection sensor and enables efficient air conditioning regardless of the installation location of an indoor unit. And

[Means for Solving the Problems]
To achieve the above purposeofThe present invention is an air conditioner that achieves air conditioning in an air-conditioned room by blowing out air that has been temperature-controlled by passing through a heat exchanger of an indoor unit installed on the wall surface of the air-conditioned room as air-conditioned air from an outlet. It is provided at the outlet and can change the direction of the conditioned air from the outlet. And swing that continuously changes the blowing directionFlaps,The detection area is set within a predetermined angle range centering on the detection direction.InspectionKnowledgeIn the regionsoDetection means for detecting the presence or absence of an infrared emitter; The detecting means;Detection directionButChangeThe detected direction is changed.A supporting means for supporting the detecting means, and the detecting means supported by the supporting means.AboveDetection means for detecting a detection direction, and the detection meansThe detection direction of the detection means detected byOn the basis of theThe conditioned air is blown into the detection area of the detection means.By the flapswingLimiting means to limit the range,Mu

As a result, it is possible to remove a wall or the like that may cause a false detection (malfunction) of the detection means from the detection area of the detection means, or to make the direction in which the person is present be a detection area. It can be operated efficiently.
[0015]
In addition, since the conditioned air can be blown in accordance with the detection area of the detection means, efficient air conditioning is possible.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
An embodiment of the present invention will be described below. FIG. 1 shows an air conditioner (hereinafter referred to as “air conditioner 10”) applied to the present embodiment. The air conditioner 10 includes an outdoor unit (hereinafter referred to as “indoor unit 12”) and an outdoor unit (hereinafter referred to as “outdoor unit 14”), and operates a wireless remote control switch (hereinafter referred to as “remote control 120”). Is run / stopped. In addition, when the operation condition such as the operation mode and the set temperature is set by the remote controller 120 and the operation signal is transmitted, the air conditioner 10 receives the operation signal by the indoor unit 12 and is operated based on the operation signal. .
[0019]
FIG. 2 shows a refrigeration cycle of the air conditioner 10. In this air conditioner 10, an indoor unit 12 installed in an air-conditioned room and an outdoor unit 14 installed outside are connected by a refrigerant pipe 16A having a large pipe for circulating the refrigerant and a refrigerant pipe 16B having a thin pipe. .
[0020]
The indoor unit 12 is provided with a heat exchanger 18 in a casing 42, and one end of each of the refrigerant pipes 16 </ b> A and 16 </ b> B is connected to the heat exchanger 18. The other end of the refrigerant pipe 16 </ b> A is connected to the valve 20 </ b> A of the outdoor unit 14. The valve 20A is connected to the four-way valve 24 via a muffler 22A. The four-way valve 24 is connected to an accumulator 28 and a muffler 22B, each of which is connected to the compressor 26.
[0021]
Furthermore, the outdoor unit 14 is provided with a heat exchanger 30. One of the heat exchangers 30 is connected to the four-way valve 24, and the other is connected to the valve 20 </ b> B via a capillary tube 32, a strainer 34, and a modulator 38. An electric expansion valve 36 is provided between the strainer 34 and the modulator 38, and the other end of the refrigerant pipe 16B is connected to the valve 20B. Thus, a refrigeration cycle is configured between the indoor unit 12 and the outdoor unit 14.
[0022]
The air conditioner 10 can be cooled or heated by circulating the refrigerant in the refrigeration cycle by the operation of the compressor 26. That is, in the cooling mode, the refrigerant compressed by the compressor 26 is liquefied by being supplied to the heat exchanger 30, and the liquefied refrigerant is vaporized by the heat exchanger 18 of the indoor unit 12. Air passing through 18 is cooled. In the heating mode, conversely, the refrigerant compressed by the compressor 26 dissipates heat by being condensed in the heat exchanger 18 of the indoor unit 12, and the air passing through the heat exchanger 18 with the heat dissipated by the refrigerant. Is heated.
[0023]
In FIG. 2, the arrows indicate the flow of refrigerant during heating operation (heating mode) and cooling operation (cooling mode or dry mode). By switching the four-way valve 24, the operation mode is changed to the cooling mode (including dry mode). The heating mode is switched, and the evaporation temperature of the refrigerant is adjusted by controlling the valve opening degree of the electric expansion valve 36. In addition, this invention can be applied to the air conditioner of arbitrary structures, and the air conditioner 10 has shown the example.
[0024]
As shown in FIG. 3, a suction port 46 and a blowout port 50 are formed in the casing 42 of the indoor unit 12. The casing 42 is fixed to the wall surface of the air-conditioned room by the base plate 40.
[0025]
In the casing 42, a cross flow fan 44 and a filter 48 are disposed between the heat exchanger 18 and the suction port 46, and air sucked from the suction port 46 by the operation of the cross flow fan 44 is filtered and After passing through the heat exchanger 18, the air is blown into the room from the blowout port 50. At this time, when the air blown into the room passes through the heat exchanger 18, heat exchange is performed with the refrigerant circulated in the heat exchanger 18, and the air is blown out as air-conditioned air for air-conditioning the room.
[0026]
Left and right flaps 52 and upper and lower flaps 54 are provided at the outlet 50 of the indoor unit 12. The conditioned air blown from the outlet 50 is changed in the left-right direction (horizontal direction, the front and back direction in FIG. 3) by the left and right flaps 52, and is also changed in the vertical direction (vertical direction, the vertical direction in FIG. 3 by the upper and lower flaps 54). ).
[0027]
As shown in FIG. 4, the indoor unit 12 is provided with a power supply board 56, a control board 58, and a power relay board 60. A motor power supply 62, a control circuit power supply 64, a serial power supply 66, and a drive circuit 68 are provided on the power supply board 56 to which power for operating the air conditioner 10 is supplied. The control board 58 is provided with a serial circuit 70, a drive circuit 72 and a microcomputer 74.
[0028]
A fan motor 76 (for example, a DC brushless motor) that drives the crossflow fan 44 is connected to the drive circuit 68 of the power supply board 56, and the motor is controlled according to a control signal from the microcomputer 74 provided on the control board 58. Driving power is supplied from the power source 62. At this time, the microcomputer 74 controls the output voltage from the drive circuit 68 to change in 256 steps within a range of 12V to 36V. Thereby, the air volume of the conditioned air blown from the blow-out port 50 of the indoor unit 12 is adjusted.
[0029]
Connected to the drive circuit 72 of the control board 58 are a power relay board 60, a left and right flap motor 77 for operating the left and right flaps 52, and an upper and lower flap motor 78 for operating the upper and lower flaps 54.
[0030]
As shown in FIG. 3, for example, in the left and right flaps 52, the fins 52 </ b> A arranged at predetermined intervals in the left and right direction are connected by a connecting bar 52 </ b> B, and the connecting bar 52 </ b> B is driven by the driving force of the left and right flap motor 77. By moving in the left-right direction, the orientation of the fin 52A is changed. Further, the fins 54A of the upper and lower flaps 54 are respectively attached to the pins 54B. By rotating the pins 54B by the driving force of the upper and lower flap motors 78, the direction of the fins 54A is changed in the vertical direction.
[0031]
The microcomputer 74 controls each of the left and right flaps 52 and the upper and lower flaps 54 by controlling the left and right flap motors 77 and the upper and lower flap motors 78. As a result, the left and right flaps 52 are swung in the left and right directions, the blowing direction of the conditioned air blown from the blowout port 50 is changed to the left and right directions, and the upper and lower flaps 54 are swung in the up and down directions. The blowing direction of the conditioned air blown from the twelve outlets 50 is changed to the vertical direction. In the air conditioner 10, the directions of the left and right flaps 52 and the upper and lower flaps 54 can be fixed at arbitrary positions, and can be swung within a predetermined range set in advance.
[0032]
In the air conditioner 10, by controlling the rotation of the cross flow fan 44 and the operation of the left and right flaps 52 and the upper and lower flaps 54, the air that has been air-conditioned with the desired air volume and direction or the air volume and direction controlled to make the room comfortable. To the room.
[0033]
As shown in FIG. 4, the bar power relay board 60 is provided with a power relay 80, a thermal fuse, and the like, and operates the power relay 80 by a signal from the microcomputer 74 to supply power to the outdoor unit 14. The contact 80A is opened and closed. The air conditioner 10 can supply power to the outdoor unit 14 by closing the contact 80A.
[0034]
The serial circuit 70 connected to the serial power supply 66 of the microcomputer 74 and the power supply circuit 56 is connected to the outdoor unit 14, and the microcomputer 74 performs serial communication with the outdoor unit 14 via the serial circuit 70. And control the operation of the outdoor unit 14.
[0035]
Further, the indoor unit 12 is provided with a display board 82 including a receiving circuit for receiving an operation signal from the remote control switch 120 (see FIG. 1), a display LED for operation display, and the like. It is connected to the microcomputer 74. As shown in FIG. 1, the display unit 82A of the display substrate 82 is disposed on the front surface of the casing 42, and the display unit 82A is provided with a receiving unit that receives an operation signal sent from the remote control switch 120. . Thus, the operation signal from the remote control switch 120 is input to the microcomputer 74 by operating the remote control switch 120 toward the display unit 82A.
[0036]
As shown in FIG. 4, a microcomputer 74 is connected to a room temperature sensor 84 that detects the room temperature and a heat exchanger temperature sensor 86 that detects the coil temperature of the heat exchanger 18, and is further provided on the control board 58. A service LED and an operation switch 88 are connected. The operation switch 88 is switched between “normal operation” and “test operation” performed during maintenance, and “stop” that opens the contact point of the power switch 88 </ b> A and cuts off the supply of operating power to the air conditioner 10. It is done. Normally, the operation changeover switch 88 is set to “normal operation” and the contact of the power switch 88A is closed. The service LED is turned on during maintenance to inform the service person of the self-diagnosis result.
[0037]
The indoor unit 12 is provided with a terminal block 90 to which wiring between the indoor unit 12 and the outdoor unit 14 is connected. The terminals 90A, 90B, and 90C of the terminal block 90 are connected with power supply wiring supplied from the indoor unit 12 to the outdoor unit 14 and wiring for serial communication between the indoor unit 12 and the outdoor unit 14. .
[0038]
As shown in FIG. 5, the outdoor unit 14 is provided with a terminal block 92. The terminals 92A, 92B, and 92C of the terminal block 92 are respectively connected to the terminals 90A, 90B, and 90C of the terminal block 90 of the indoor unit 12. Connected.
[0039]
The outdoor unit 14 is provided with a rectifying substrate 94 and a control substrate 96. The control board 96 is provided with a microcomputer 98, noise filters 100A, 100B, and 100C, a serial circuit 102, a switching power supply 104, and the like.
[0040]
The rectifier substrate 94 double-voltage rectifies the power supplied via the noise filter 100 </ b> A, and outputs the DC power smoothed via the noise filters 100 </ b> B and 100 </ b> C to the switching power supply 104. The switching power supply 104 is connected to the inverter circuit 106 together with the microcomputer 98, and the inverter circuit 106 is connected to the compressor motor 108. The inverter circuit 106 outputs electric power having a frequency corresponding to the control signal output from the microcomputer 98 to the compressor motor 108 and rotationally drives the compressor 26.
[0041]
The microcomputer 98 controls the frequency of the electric power output from the inverter circuit 106 to be in the range of OFF or 14 Hz or more (the upper limit depends on the upper limit of the operating current). The rotation speed of the compressor 26 is changed, and the operation capacity of the compressor 26 (the air conditioning capacity of the air conditioner 10) is controlled.
[0042]
The control board 96 is connected to a fan motor 110 and a fan motor capacitor 110A for driving a blower fan (not shown) for cooling the four-way valve 24 and the heat exchanger 30. The outdoor unit 14 is provided with an outside temperature sensor 112 that detects the outside temperature, a coil temperature sensor 114 that detects the temperature of the refrigerant coil of the heat exchanger 30, and a compressor temperature sensor 116 that detects the temperature of the compressor 26. These are connected to the microcomputer 98.
[0043]
The microcomputer 98 switches the four-way valve 24 according to the operation mode, and turns on the fan motor 110 based on the control signal from the indoor unit 12, the detection results of the outside air temperature sensor 112, the coil temperature sensor 114, and the compressor temperature sensor 116. / Off, the operating frequency of the compressor motor 108 (the ability of the compressor 26) and the like are controlled.
[0044]
In addition, a motor 118 that opens and closes the electric expansion valve 36 is connected to the control board 96 via a driver (not shown), and the microcomputer 98 controls the opening degree of the electric expansion valve 36 by the motor 118.
[0045]
The air conditioner 10 is operated in the operation mode, the wind direction, and the air volume based on the operation condition by inputting the operation condition set by the remote control switch 120, and the room temperature in the air-conditioned room becomes the set temperature. .
[0046]
By the way, as shown in FIG.1 and FIG.6, the indoor unit 12 is provided with the human detection sensor 130 in the display part 82A. As shown in FIG. 4, the indoor unit 12 is provided with a human detection circuit 132, and the human detection sensor 130 is connected to the microcomputer 74 via the human detection circuit 132.
[0047]
As shown in FIG. 7, the human detection sensor 130 is formed by a fullnel lens 134 that collects infrared rays and a current collecting element 136 that detects the infrared rays collected by the fullnel lens 134.
[0048]
The human detection circuit 132 shown in FIG. 4 collects infrared rays emitted from an infrared radiator such as a human body to increase the output voltage of the current collecting element 136. When the output voltage exceeds a predetermined value (threshold), the human detection circuit 132 outputs an on signal. Output to the microcomputer 74. Thereby, the microcomputer 74 determines that there is a person in the air-conditioned room.
[0049]
In the air conditioner 10, for example, a human detection mode is set as an operation mode. When the human detection mode is selected, the compressor 26 and the air conditioner 10 are detected only when the human detection sensor 130 detects a person in the air-conditioned room. The cross flow fan 44 and the like are driven to perform an air conditioning operation. In addition, when the air conditioner 10 is in a state where it is determined that the human detection sensor 130 is not detecting a person, the air conditioner 10 stands by with the compressor 26 and the crossflow fan 44 being stopped.
[0050]
On the other hand, as shown in FIG. 7, the human detection sensor 130 is attached to the bracket 140 via a pin 138. The pin 138 is provided so that its axial direction is substantially along the vertical direction (upper limit direction in FIG. 7), and both ends are pivotally supported by the bracket 140. As a result, the human detection sensor 130 can change the direction of the Furnell lens 134 in the left-right direction (the front and back direction in FIG. 7) with the pin 138 as an axis.
[0051]
A slit plate 142 is attached to the pin 138, and the slit plate 142 rotates integrally with the human detection sensor 130. Further, a direction detection sensor 144 is attached to the bracket 140 so as to face the slit plate 142. When the slit plate 142 is rotated integrally with the human detection sensor 130, the direction detection sensor 144 is directed from the presence or absence of a slit (not shown) formed at a predetermined position of the slit plate 142, for example. That is, the orientation of the full-nel lens 134 is detected.
[0052]
The microcomputer 74 limits the direction of the left and right flaps 52, that is, the swing range of the left and right flaps 52, according to the direction of the human detection sensor 130 detected by the direction detection sensor 144.
[0053]
The human detection sensor 130 has a detection area within a predetermined angle range (for example, about 100 °) in the direction in which the full-nel lens 134 is directed. As a result, when the Fullel lens 134 (human detection sensor 130) is directed to the front of the indoor unit 12, the angle θ shown by the broken line in FIG.0This is the detection area. Further, when the human detection sensor 130 is directed in the right direction (arrow R direction), the angle θ indicated by the alternate long and short dash lineRIs the detection region, and when directed in the left direction (arrow L direction), the angle θ indicated by the two-dot chain lineLThis is the detection area.
[0054]
That is, when the human detection sensor 130 is directed rightward, the left side of the indoor unit 12 becomes a non-detection region, and when it is directed leftward, the right side of the indoor unit 12 becomes a non-detection region.
[0055]
On the other hand, as shown in FIG. 8B, the swing range of the left and right flaps 52 is an angle φ.0On the other hand, the microcomputer 74 narrows the swing range on the left side of the indoor unit 12 by turning the human detection sensor 130 in the right direction, and the angle φ close to the right side.RThe left and right flaps 52 are swung within the range. In addition, the human detection sensor 130 is directed in the direction, so that the swing range on the right side of the indoor unit 12 is narrowed and the angle φ toward the left direction is reduced.LThe left and right flaps 52 are swung within the range. The swing range of the left and right flaps 52 is a region including the detection range of the human detection sensor 130 in each direction.
[0056]
Note that the direction along the vertical direction of the human detection sensor 130 is slightly downward with respect to the horizontal direction (the lower side in the drawing in FIG. 7, which is about 24 ° as an example in the present embodiment).
[0057]
The operation of the present embodiment will be described below.
[0058]
In the air conditioner 10, the operation mode, the set temperature, the wind direction, and the air volume are set by the switch operation of the remote control switch 120, and the air conditioning operation is started by instructing the operation start (for example, operation of the operation / stop button). When the air conditioner 10 starts the air conditioning operation, the air conditioner 10 measures the set temperature and the room temperature, and sets the operation frequency, the air volume (the number of rotations of the cross flow fan 44), etc. of the compressor 26 based on the measurement results. Air conditioning operation is performed based on
[0059]
In the outdoor unit 14, the four-way valve 24 is switched according to the set operation mode. Thus, for example, when the cooling or dry mode is set, the refrigerant compressed by the compressor 26 is supplied to the heat exchanger 30 of the outdoor unit 14 and is liquefied when passing through the heat exchanger 30. The cooled refrigerant is supplied to the heat exchanger 18 of the indoor unit 12. In the heat exchanger 18, the air passing through the heat exchanger 18 is cooled by being vaporized when the refrigerant passes.
[0060]
When the heating mode is set, the high-pressure refrigerant compressed by the compressor 26 by switching the four-way valve 34 is supplied to the heat exchanger 18 of the indoor unit 12. When this refrigerant is liquefied by the heat exchanger 18, the air passing through the heat exchanger 18 is heated.
[0061]
By adjusting the temperature of the air passing through the heat exchanger 18 in this way, the temperature-controlled air is blown out from the outlet 50 as conditioned air into the air-conditioned room.
[0062]
By the way, the air conditioner 10 is provided with a human detection sensor 130 in the indoor unit 12 and, for example, set to the human detection mode, the operation / standby switching is performed based on the detection result of the human detection sensor 130. That is, when an operation including operation / stop is performed by the remote control switch 120, an operator is present in the air-conditioned room. In the air conditioner 10, the air detection operation is started by detecting the infrared rays emitted from the operator by the human detection sensor 130.
[0063]
On the other hand, when there is no person in the air-conditioned room, the human detection sensor 130 enters a non-detection state. When the human detection sensor 130 is in a non-detection state, the air conditioner 10 stops the rotation of the cross flow fan 44 and the compressor 26 and enters a standby state. In addition, when a person enters the air-conditioned room from this standby state and the human detection sensor 130 enters the detection state, the air conditioner 10 starts to rotate the cross flow fan 44 and the compressor 26. Thereby, the air-conditioned room is air-conditioned.
[0064]
The human detection sensor 130 provided in the air conditioner 10 rotates about the pin 138 to change the orientation of the full-nel lens 134 and the light condensing element 136. That is, the direction of the human detection sensor 130 is changed.
[0065]
By changing the direction of the human detection sensor 130, the detection area of the human detection sensor 130 moves. That is, the detection area of the human detection sensor 130 is changed.
[0066]
Thereby, for example, when a region where a person is present in the air-conditioned room is limited, this region can be a detection region of the human detection sensor 130. When the indoor unit 12 is installed, when the wall surface adjacent to the wall surface of the indoor unit 12 is close to the indoor unit 12 and the detection area of the human detection sensor 130 is applied to this wall surface, the wall surface is detected by the human detection sensor 130. The direction of the human detection sensor 130 can be changed so as to be out of the region.
[0067]
As a result, the human detection sensor 130 can be prevented from narrowing the substantial detection area due to being directed to the wall where there is no person, and the presence / absence of a person can be detected efficiently within the limited detection area. be able to.
[0068]
Further, if this wall surface is included in the detection area of the human detection sensor 130, the air-conditioning air (for example, warm air) blown out from the blowout port 50 hits this wall surface, thereby causing the human detection sensor 130 to malfunction. As a result, the air conditioner 10 set to the person detection mode may continue to perform the air conditioning operation even though there is no person in the air-conditioned room.
[0069]
At this time, by changing the direction of the human detection sensor 130 so that the wall surface is out of the detection area of the human detection sensor 130, malfunction of the human detection sensor 130 is prevented, and reliable air-conditioning operation / The standby can be switched.
[0070]
On the other hand, in the air conditioner 10, the direction of the human detection sensor 130 is limited based on the detection result of the direction detection sensor 144. That is, as indicated by the two-dot chain line in FIG. 8A, when the human detection sensor 130 is directed to the right, the swing range of the left and right flaps 52 is indicated by the two-dot chain line in FIG. Can be moved to the right. Accordingly, if the human detection sensor 130 is directed to a region where a person is present in the air-conditioned room, the conditioned air can be blown toward the region.
[0071]
By changing the direction of the human detection sensor 130 so that the wall surface or the wall surface where no one is present is removed from the detection area of the human detection sensor 130, the conditioned air is not blown in the direction away from the detection area of the human detection sensor 130. Therefore, it is possible to prevent a decrease in the air conditioning efficiency due to blowing the conditioned air toward the direction or wall where no one is present.
[0072]
That is, when the entire air-conditioned room is to be air-conditioned, it is necessary to use the air conditioner 10 having a capacity corresponding to the size of the air-conditioned room. On the other hand, by blowing the conditioned air only to the detection area of the human detection sensor 130, the human detection sensor can be directed in the direction where the person is present.
[0073]
In addition, depending on the structure of the air-conditioned room and the arrangement of furniture, the installation position of the indoor unit 12 may be restricted, or the area where people are present may be removed from the front of the indoor unit 12. At this time, the area can be efficiently air-conditioned by directing the human detection sensor 130 to the area where the person is present.
[0074]
Thereby, even if the air conditioning capability is low, a person in the air-conditioned room can obtain a comfortable feeling of air conditioning.
[0075]
The embodiment described above does not limit the configuration of the present invention. The present invention can be applied to an air conditioner having an arbitrary configuration that includes a human detection unit and performs an air-conditioning operation based on a detection result of the human detection unit.
[0076]
In the present embodiment, the orientation of the human detection sensor 130 is detected by the slit plate 142 and the direction detection sensor 144 in three steps of the front, right direction, and left direction. The configuration is not limited, and any configuration can be used as long as the detection direction of the human detection sensor 130 is possible.
[0077]
At this time, for example, the direction of the human detection sensor 130 may be detected in detail as three or more steps or angles, and the swing range of the left and right flaps 52 may be set finely according to the detection result.
[0078]
Furthermore, in the present embodiment, the air conditioner 10 provided with one human detection sensor in the substantially central portion of the indoor unit 12 has been described as an example. However, the present invention is not limited to this, and detection for the right direction and detection for the left direction are performed. Two human detection sensors may be provided. For example, as shown in FIGS. 9 and 10A, in the air conditioner 10A, a right detection human detection sensor 130R and a left detection human detection sensor 130L are provided on the display unit 83A. Further, the air conditioner 10A is provided with a sensor changeover switch 150 (see FIG. 10C) in the panel in which the suction port 46 is formed, and the human detection sensors 130R and 130L are changed by the sensor changeover switch 150.
[0079]
At this time, when the human detection sensors 130R and 130L are selected, the swing range of the left and right flaps 52 is not limited. When the human detection sensor 130R or the human detection sensor 130L is selected, the human detection sensors 130R and 130L are selected. The swing range of the flap 52 (the angle φ shown in FIG.ROr angle φL).
[0080]
In the present embodiment, the example in which the direction of the human detection sensor 130 is changed in the left-right direction has been described. However, the direction of the human detection sensor 130 can be changed in the vertical direction. The swing range of the upper and lower flaps 54 may be limited according to the direction along the direction. In this case, as the detection means, any configuration can be used in the same manner as detecting the horizontal direction.
[0081]
For example, by directing the human detection sensor 130 toward the lower side in the horizontal direction, the lower side of the indoor unit 12 is removed from the swing range of the upper and lower flaps 54, and the human detection sensor 130 is lower than this. When facing, the upper side may be removed from the swing range.
[0082]
Thus, when the installation position of the indoor unit 12 is low and close to the floor surface, the human detection sensor 130 is oriented in the horizontal direction to remove the lower side of the indoor unit 12 from the detection area and the air-conditioning air blowing area. In addition, when the installation position of the indoor unit 12 is high, if the direction of the human detection sensor 130 is directed downward, the detection area of the human detection sensor 130 and the blowout area of the conditioned air can be moved to a relatively high position from the floor surface. Therefore, efficient air conditioning is possible and accurate human detection is possible.
[0083]
【The invention's effect】
As described above, according to the present invention, the detection meansBy changing the detection directionThe detection area can be changed, and air conditioned air is blown toward the changed detection area.Flap swing rangeBy limiting this, it is possible to prevent malfunction of the detection means and to obtain an excellent effect that efficient air conditioning is possible.
