BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a configuration of a so-called biohazard safety cabinet that prevents a disaster caused by handling of microorganisms and pathogens in the field of genetic manipulation such as medicine and pharmaceuticals.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Conventionally, a biohazard countermeasure class II cabinet that conforms to or complies with JISK3800 has been used as a safety cabinet that physically isolates human / environment and biomaterials / pathogens in response to biohazard. In the safety cabinet, a front shutter configured to be openable and closable is provided on the front surface of the work space in order to facilitate loading and unloading of laboratory instruments into and from the work space. In JISK3800, it is defined that there is no airflow leakage from the rail portion at the upper and lower side edges of the front shutter and the wiper portion at the upper edge. In a conventional safety cabinet, a packing wiper or the like is provided between the front shutter and the work space, and bacteria enter the work space from the gap between the front shutter and the front face of the work space. The biological materials and pathogens handled in the work space are prevented from being scattered outside. A configuration example of a conventional safety cabinet is shown in FIGS. FIG. 7 is a structural example diagram of the entire safety cabinet, and FIG. 8 is an enlarged view of a mating surface portion of the front shutter and the work space. 7 and 8, 1 'is a safety cabinet, 2 is a work table, 3 is a work space, 4 is an exhaust HEPA filter (High Efficiency Particulate Air Filter), 5 is an HEPA filter for air supply, 6 is a blower, 7 Is a blowout current plate, 8 is a wiper, 9 is a front shutter, 12 is blown air, 13 is inflow air, 14 is a positive pressure contamination plenum, 15 is a negative pressure contamination plenum, and 18 is an air inlet. The inflow air 13 sucked from the space under the front shutter 9 passes through the lower part of the work table 2, passes through the back surface of the work space 3, and is sucked into the blower 6. Biological materials and pathogens handled in the work space 3 are mixed in the sucked air. The pressure of the air flowing portion becomes a negative pressure on the suction side of the blower 6, and biological materials and pathogens pass through. The negative pressure space 15 contaminated with the biological material or pathogen is referred to as a negative pressure plenum 15. Further, the air blown out from the blower 6 is sent out to the sealed space 14. The sealed space 14 is referred to as a positive pressure contamination plenum because it is pressurized by the blower 6 to be in a positive pressure state and is contaminated with biological materials, pathogens, and the like. The positive pressure contamination plenum 14 is connected to the HEPA filter 5 for supply air. The air pressurized by the positive pressure contamination plenum 14 is removed from the dust by passing through the HEPA filter 5 for supply, and is supplied to the work space 3 as clean air. The blown air 12 supplied into the work space 3 is rectified by the blown rectifying plate 7 to make the blown air velocity distribution uniform. The inflow air 13 sucked from the work space opening at the lower part of the front shutter 9 and the blown air 12 blown out from the blowout rectifying plate 7 pass through the negative pressure contamination plenum 15, and a part of the air is an exhaust HEPA filter. By passing through 4, dust to which biological materials or pathogens adhere is removed by the exhaust HEPA filter 4 and discharged out of the safety cabinet 1. The exhaust HEPA filter 4 is connected to the positive pressure contaminated plenum 14 and discharged to the outside of the safety cabinet 1 by the pressure of the blower 6, and the exhaust air HEPA filter 4 connected to the negative pressure contaminated plenum 15 and a blower provided outside the contaminated plenum ( There are two ways to exhaust the air in the safety cabinet 1 out of the device. An operator who handles biological materials, pathogens, and the like looks into the work space 3 from the front shutter 9 and inserts his / her hand into the work space 3 from the opening under the front shutter 9 to perform work. In addition, the wiper 8 prevents inflow of outside air and outflow of internal air at the mating surface portion of the front shutter 9 and the work space 3. Air suction ports 18 are formed on both sides of the work space 3 in the opening below the front shutter 9 so as to prevent air current disturbance at both ends in the opening below the front shutter 9. Further, the front shutter 9 is tilted by about 10 ° with respect to the vertical direction in order to make it easy for the operator to see the inside of the work space 3. In addition to this, as technical examples for preventing inflow of outside air and outflow of internal air in the front shutter portion of the safety cabinet, Japanese Patent No. 2883420 (Patent Document 1) and Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 6-297356 (Patent Document 2). And those described in Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2000-346418 (Patent Document 3). Japanese Patent No. 2883420 describes a configuration in which a packing is provided between the front shutter and the work space to maintain airtightness. In JP-A-6-297356, as a cleaning work table, a structure in which a connecting portion between a supply / exhaust unit and a working chamber unit is set to a negative pressure, and an air flow is adjusted from outside by adjusting the air volume with a damper in the supply / exhaust unit. The configuration to be incorporated is described. There is no configuration in which an air suction port is provided at a portion facing the front shutter of the working chamber unit. In Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 2000-346418, a suction duct having a negative-pressure air suction passage inside is provided at the inner peripheral edge of the glass window of the casing portion forming the work space, and the negative pressure of the negative-pressure air suction passage is used. [Problems to be solved by the invention]
Among the above prior arts, in the safety cabinet having the configuration shown in FIGS. 7 and 8, the wiper 8 is formed of rubber or resin, and thus is easily damaged due to friction and deterioration with the front shutter 9. In this case, it becomes impossible to prevent the intrusion of the outside air and the leakage of the inside air to the outside. For this reason, it is necessary to periodically replace the wiper 8. In addition, since the air inlets 18 are merely formed on both sides of the work space 3 in the opening below the front shutter 9, turbulent flow at the corners of the front shutter 9 and the work space side surface 3a '. Occurrence and leakage of air from the front shutter rail 10 cannot be prevented. In some cases, air leaks from a corner portion between the front shutter rail 10 and the wiper 8 at the upper end of the work space 3. Further, since the front surface portion of the front shutter 9 is inclined by about 10 ° with respect to the vertical direction, an air separation phenomenon in the work space 3 due to the inclined structure of the front shutter 9 occurs. In general, in a space having a spread in the flow direction, when the width of the flow path is increased by about 4 ° to 5 ° on both sides (about 2 ° to 2.5 ° on one side) or more, It is known that a peeling phenomenon occurs. In order to prevent this separation, measures such as increasing the speed of the blown airflow 12 near the front shutter 9 are taken. However, the countermeasure technique also increases the air velocity near the front shutter 9 in the work space 3, and as a result, Air more easily leaks to the outside from the upper part of the front shutter 9 or the vicinity of the front shutter rail 10 on both sides. In addition, in the techniques described in Japanese Patent No. 2883420 and Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 2000-346418, in order to maintain the airtightness of the work space and prevent the air in the isolator device from leaking out of the device. It is necessary to provide a packing between the front shutter or glass window and the work space. Further, the technique described in Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. Hei 6-297356 has a negative effect that contaminants leak from the air supply / exhaust unit due to the fastening structure in the cleaning work table configured to fasten the work chamber unit and the air supply / exhaust unit. This is a technique for preventing pressure leakage, and is not a technique for suppressing air leakage or intrusion in the front shutter portion of the work chamber unit.
The problems of the present invention are as follows. In the safety cabinet such as a biohazard class II cabinet, (1) biological materials or pathogens in the work space leak from the periphery of the front shutter or externally. To prevent intrusion from these, and to prevent infection by these, (2) Easy to see in the work space, (3) Smooth the air flow in the work space, work It is possible to prevent cross-contamination of bacteria in the space, and (4) it is possible to eliminate the need for inspection and replacement of the wiper.
An object of the present invention is to provide a technique capable of solving such problems.
[0005]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to solve the above problems, in the present invention , air is sucked and discharged as a safety cabinet for biohazard measures in which a work space is formed on the inner surface side of a front shutter whose front portion is inclined with respect to the vertical direction. A blowing means, a pressure chamber in which air from the blowing means is blown to form a positive pressure state, a first filter for filtering air flowing from the pressure chamber to the working space side, and a filter from the first filter. A blow-off rectifying plate that rectifies air and passes it to the work space side, a work table that has an exhaust port and places a work object in the work space, and a second filter that filters air exhausted outside the apparatus, A negative pressure passage formed adjacent to the work space on the outside of the peripheral component surrounding the work space, and leading the inflowed air to the second filter or the blowing means side by negative pressure, and the front shutter of Among the peripheral components facing the surface, the peripheral components on the upper side of the work space and the peripheral components on both side portions of the work space are arranged so that air in the work space flows through the negative pressure flow. An air suction port for sucking into the passage, and the air sucked from the air suction port into the negative pressure flow path is guided from the negative pressure flow path to the first and second filter sides to be purified, a structure for exhausting the supply or outside of the apparatus in.

An air inlet provided in the part, 21 is an internal lighting rod, 22 is an external lighting rod, 30 is an exhaust port provided in the surface of the work table 2, and 31 is a member on the back side of the apparatus forming the work space 3. Established in And an exhaust outlet. The air suction port 16 a is provided in a peripheral component part above the work space 3 among the peripheral component parts surrounding the work space 3, and the air suction port 16 b is the work space among the peripheral component parts surrounding the work space 3. 3 are provided in the peripheral components on both side portions, and each of them is composed of a plurality of through holes. The front shutter 9 is inclined at an angle θ with respect to the vertical direction in order to make it easier for the operator to see the inside of the work space 3. The inclination angle [theta] of the front surface that allows the operator to easily see the inside of the work space 3 is in the range of about 3 [deg.] To 45 [deg.]. The exhaust port 30, the exhaust port 31, and the air suction ports 16 a and 16 b are all connected to the negative pressure contamination plenum 15. The inflowing air 13 sucked into the work space 3 from the space below the front shutter 9 passes through the exhaust port 30, passes through the lower part of the work table 2, passes through the back side of the work space 3, and is sucked into the blower 6. The air sucked into the blower 6 is mixed with biological materials and pathogens in the work space 3 in the process of passing through the work space 3. On the air suction side of the blower 6, a negative pressure space, that is, a negative pressure contamination plenum 15 is configured, and on the air discharge side of the blower 6, a positive pressure space, that is, a positive pressure contamination plenum 14 is configured by pressurization. The air discharged from the blower 6 is pressurized by the positive pressure contamination plenum 14 and passed through the air supply HEPA filter 5. In the air supply HEPA filter 5, dust attached with biological materials and pathogens is removed to obtain clean air. The clean air is rectified by the blowout rectifying plate 7 and supplied as blown air 12 into the work space 3. The blowing rectifying plate 7 makes the distribution of the blowing wind speed uniform by rectification. The air in the work space 3 including the blown air 12 is supplied to the negative pressure contaminated plenum 15 from the exhaust port 30, the exhaust port 31, and the air suction ports 16 a and 16 b provided in the portion facing the inner surface of the front shutter 9. Inflow. The air flowing into the negative pressure polluted plenum 15 from the exhaust port 30 and the exhaust port 31 is sucked into the blower 6 and pressurized by the positive pressure polluted plenum 14, and dust with biological materials and pathogens attached to the air supply HEPA filter 5. The air is removed to form clean air, rectified by the blowout rectifying plate 7, and supplied as blown air 12 into the work space 3 again. Of the air in the work space 3, the air mainly in the periphery of the work space 3 and the inner surface of the front shutter 9 flows into the air suction ports 16 a and 16 b. The air flowing into the negative pressure contaminated plenum 15 from the air suction ports 16a, 16b is removed by the exhaust HEPA filter 4 to remove dust adhered to biological materials and pathogens, and is discharged outside the apparatus. In the first embodiment, the peripheral components of the work space 3 in which the air suction ports 16a and 16b are provided are provided in a part of the main body case 1a. The air suction ports 16a and 16b are connected to the negative pressure contaminated plenum 15 so that the suction port has a negative pressure and forms a suction air flow. Also, conventionally, a turbulent state is caused on the peripheral component side surrounding the work space 3 on the inner surface side of the front shutter 9, and work is performed from the vicinity of the front shutter rail 10, such as a gap between the front shutter rail 10 and the front shutter 9. In the configuration of the first embodiment, the air leaking to the outside of the space 3 is sucked from the air suction ports 16a and 16b so as not to leak to the outside as shown in FIG. Air that is about to enter the space 3 is also sucked from the air suction ports 16 a and 16 b so that it does not flow into the inner space of the work space 3. Thereby, physical isolation between the work space 3 and the outside air is achieved. The air suction ports 16a and 16b also have an effect of smoothing the air flow in the work space 3 without the turbulent flow state on the peripheral component side.
[0007]
According to the first embodiment, the air inside the work space 3 is brought into contact between the front shutter 9 and the front shutter rail 10 by the suction of the air on the inner surface side of the front shutter 9 through the air suction ports 16a and 16b. It is possible to prevent leaking out of the apparatus from the engaging portion side of the front shutter 9 such as a gap between them. As a result, the air inside the work space 3 passes through the negative pressure contamination plenum 15, passes through the exhaust HEPA filter 4, and is discharged to the outside of the apparatus, thereby preventing leakage of biological materials and pathogens outside the apparatus. Infection caused by these is prevented. In addition, intrusion of external air can be prevented. In this respect, a highly safe safety cabinet can be provided. In addition, the suction of air through the air suction ports 16a and 16b can suppress the occurrence of air separation phenomenon in the work space 3 due to the inclined structure of the front shutter 9. For this reason, it is possible to prevent the cross-contamination of different kinds of bacteria in the work space 3, for example, by making the work space 3 have a smooth air flow state without a separation phenomenon. It is possible to perform a predetermined operation in a state where the inside is easy to see. In addition, since it does not use short-life consumables such as wipers, maintenance such as inspection and replacement is not necessary.
[0008]
3 and 4 are explanatory views of a second embodiment of the present invention. 3 (a) is a side view of the safety cabinet, FIG. 3 (b) is the front view thereof, FIG. 4 (a) is an enlarged view of portion A in FIG. 3, and FIG. 4 (b) is in FIG. It is a figure which shows the cross section of BB part.
In the second embodiment, the air suction port provided in the inner surface facing portion of the front shutter is provided in the portion along the front shutter rail on both sides of the work space, and the wiper is also provided. It is.
3 and 4, reference numeral 8 denotes a wiper for preventing the inflow of outside air and the outflow of internal air. 16a is an air inlet provided in the inner surface facing portion of the front shutter, and is provided in a portion along the front shutter rail at both side portions with respect to the work space. No air inlet corresponding to the air inlet 16b in the first embodiment is provided above the work space. The configuration of the other parts is the same as in the case of the first embodiment, and the same reference numerals as in the case of the first embodiment are given. The operation of the air inlet 16a and other parts is the same as in the case of the first embodiment.
[0009]
Also in the second embodiment, the air inside the work space 3 is sucked into the gap between the front shutter 9 and the front shutter rail 10 by the suction of the air on the inner surface side of the front shutter 9 through the air suction port 16a. It is possible to prevent leakage from the apparatus to the outside. As a result, the air inside the work space 3 is discharged outside the apparatus through the negative pressure contaminated plenum 15 and the exhaust HEPA filter 4, so that it is possible to prevent leakage of biological materials and pathogens outside the apparatus. Will prevent infection. In addition, the suction of air through the air suction port 16a can suppress the occurrence of the air separation phenomenon in the work space 3 due to the inclined structure of the front shutter 9. For this reason, the working space 3 can be made into a smooth air flow state without a separation phenomenon, for example, to prevent cross-contamination of different kinds of bacteria in the work space 3, and for the operator to work. The work can be performed in a state in which the inside of the space 3 is easy to see. In addition, it is possible to simplify the structure of the main body case that forms the negative pressure contamination plenum 15.
[0010]
5 and 6 are explanatory views of a third embodiment of the present invention. 5 (a) is a side view of the safety cabinet, FIG. 5 (b) is the front view thereof, FIG. 6 (a) is an enlarged view of part A in FIG. 5, and FIG. 6 (b) is in FIG. It is a figure which shows the cross section of BB part.
In the third embodiment, the front shutter is provided upright in the vertical direction, and the air suction port provided in the inner surface facing portion of the front shutter is provided laterally with respect to the work space, as in the second embodiment. It is an example of a structure in the case of providing in the part along the front shutter rail of both sides.
In FIGS. 5 and 6, reference numeral 9 denotes a front shutter provided in a vertical direction. 16a is an air inlet provided in the inner surface facing portion of the front shutter, and is provided in a portion along the front shutter rail at both side portions with respect to the work space. Similar to the second embodiment, an air suction port corresponding to the air suction port 16b in the first embodiment is not provided on the upper side with respect to the work space. The action of the air suction port 16a is the same as in the case of the second embodiment. The structure and operation of the other parts are the same as in the case of the second embodiment.
[0011]
Also in the third embodiment, the air inside the work space 3 is sucked into the gap between the front shutter 9 and the front shutter rail 10 by the suction of the air on the inner surface side of the front shutter 9 through the air suction port 16a. It is also possible to prevent the air flow from being disturbed at the corner between the work space inner side surface 3a and the front shutter 9, and for example, it is possible to prevent cross-contamination of different kinds of bacteria in the work space 3. In addition, it is possible to simplify the structure of the main body case that forms the negative pressure contamination plenum 15 as the negative pressure flow path.
[0012]
In each of the above embodiments, the front shutter is provided only on one side of the safety cabinet. However, the present invention is not limited to this, and the front shutter may be provided on a plurality of sides of the safety cabinet.
[0013]
