【発明の属する技術分野】
この発明は、放射性物質取扱施設の放射線管理区域(以下では管理区域と略称する)内で作業した業務従事者に使用された工具等の手持ち物品である小物物品の放射性物質による表面汚染状態を検査して搬出の可否を判定し、搬出可の小物物品のみを搬出させる小物物品モニタに関する。

【従来の技術】
小物物品モニタは、小物物品の放射性物質による表面汚染状態を検査してその小物物品を管理区域の外(非管理区域)に搬出してもよいか否かを判定するモニタ部と、搬出可と判定された小物物品のみを収納する小物物品モニタ用ストッカ(以下ではストッカ部と略称する)と、で構成されている。

図6は、従来の小物物品モニタの一例を示す側面図である。図中の太い矢印は小物物品3の移動方向を示す。
この小物物品モニタのモニタ部1は、管理区域内にあって、非管理区域へ搬出する小物物品3を載せた測定皿4を矢印Aの方向に搬入され、上下左右等に配置された放射線検出器11及び信号処理装置12等によって、その小物物品3の放射性物質による表面汚染状態を検査して、その小物物品3を非管理区域に搬出してもよいか否かを判定し、搬出可の小物物品31をストッカ部2へ送り出し、搬出否の小物物品を搬入口側(矢印Aの反対方向)へ戻す。

この小物物品モニタのストッカ部2は、エレベータ昇降機構22によって駆動されて上下に移動するエレベータ21と複数段の棚23とを備え、モニタ部1から搬出可の小物物品31を送り込まれて、その小物物品31をエレベータ21によって未収納の棚23に収納する。エレベータ21には、不図示のコンベアが搭載されていて、送り込まれた搬出可小物物品31をエレベータ上の所定位置まで移動させたり、棚23へ送り込んだりする。ストッカ部2の側面は安全のためにパネル板で囲われており、搬出可小物物品31を取り出す面は、内部が見える透明な扉24となっている。また、安全確保のために、扉24が開かれた場合には、扉24の開閉で作動する不図示のリミットスイッチによって、搬出可小物物品31の搬送が中断される。

モニタ部1には、小物物品3を搬入した業務従事者をIDカードによって特定するためのIDカードリーダを備えているものと、備えていないものとがある。搬入された小物物品3の搬出の可否とそれに対応する業務従事者とを情報として必要とする場合にIDカードリーダを備えて、小物物品3を搬入した業務従事者を特定するのである。

小物物品3を小物物品モニタに搬入した業務従事者は、搬入した小物部品3が搬出可であることを確認した後、管理区域から退域して非管理区域にあるストッカ部2の扉24を開き、自分の小物部品31を棚23から探し出して取り出す。
図6に示した小物物品モニタの場合には、搬出可小物物品31は、エレベータ21によって空いている棚に収納されるが、エレベータ21を備えないで、棚全体を上下に移動させて搬出可の小物物品31を空いている棚に収納する形式の小物物品モニタもある。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
このような従来の小物物品モニタでは、ストッカ部の棚毎に1つずつの小物物品が収納され、収納された小物物品を棚から取り出す場合には、業務従事者が目視で自分の小物物品を探し出して棚から取り出している。
このため、探し易さ及び取り出し易さの点から、また安全確保のためから、棚の設置高さが制限され、ストッカ部の設置面積当たりの収納能力が小さくなっている。また、高さを制限している場合においても、高い位置から小物物品を取り出す場合には、それらの落下に伴う危険がある。更に、ストッカ部に収納されている小物物品数が多くなると、業務従事者が自分の小物物品を探し出すのに長い時間を要することもしばしば発生する。

この発明の課題は、上述の問題点を解消した、搬出可の小物物品の収納能力が大きく、当人の小物物品が容易に探し出せ、且つ小物物品取出し時の安全性が高い小物物品モニタを提供することである。

【課題を解決するための手段】
請求項1の発明は、放射性物質取扱施設の管理区域内で作業した業務従事者に使用された工具等の手持ち物品である小物物品が管理区域から搬出される際に、その小物物品の放射性物質による表面汚染状態を検査するモニタ部と、搬出可と判定された小物物品を収納するストッカ部と、を備えた小物物品モニタであって、モニタ部及びストッカ部のそれぞれに、前記業務従事者を特定するためのIDカードを読み取るモニタ部IDカード読取り手段及びストッカ部IDカード読取り手段を備え、ストッカ部に、ストッカ部IDカード読取り手段にIDカードを読み取らせた業務従事者の小物物品の収納位置を表示する表示手段を備え、モニタ部に、モニタ部IDカード読取り手段及びストッカ部IDカード読取り手段に接続され、モニタ部IDカード読取り手段からの信号によって搬入された小物物品の放射性物質による表面汚染状態を検査させ、搬出可と判定された小物物品をストッカ部に収納させてその収納位置を記録し、且つストッカ部IDカード読取り手段からの信号によって当該業務従事者の小物物品の収納位置を表示手段に表示させる信号処理装置を備えている。

【発明の実施の形態】
この発明による小物物品モニタ及びストッカ部の実施の形態について、実施例を用いて説明する。
なお、従来技術と同じ機能の部分には同じ部号を付ける。
〔小物物品モニタの第1の実施例〕
図1は、この発明による小物物品モニタの第1の実施例の構成を示すブロック図である。

この小物物品モニタのモニタ部1a及びストッカ部2aのそれぞれに、小物物品を搬入した業務従事者をIDカード5によって特定するためのIDカードリーダ(図1ではカードリーダと略記)13及び25が備えられており、両IDカードリーダ13及び25はモニタ部1aの信号処理装置12a に接続されている。また、ストッカ部2aの棚23a には小物物品の収納位置毎に表示器27が装着されており、これらの表示器27は、シーケンサ26を介して信号処理装置12a に接続されている。

小物物品を携帯した業務従事者は、小物物品を小物物品モニタに搬入する際に、モニタ部1aのIDカードリーダ13にIDカード5を読み取らせる。IDカードリーダ13の読取り信号は信号処理装置12a に送られ、信号処理装置12a が、搬入された小物物品の放射性物質による表面汚染状態を検査させ、検査の結果、その小物物品3が搬出可の小物物品31であれば、その小物物品31をストッカ部2aに送り込んでストッカ部2aの棚23a の空いている収納位置に収納させ、その収納位置を搬入した業務従事者とともに記録する。搬出不可の場合には、その小物物品3を搬入位置に戻す。業務従事者は、検査の結果が搬出可であることを確認して、管理区域から非管理区域に退域し、ストッカ部2aのIDカードリーダ25にIDカード5を読み取らせる。IDカードリーダ25の読取り信号は信号処理装置12a に送られ、その信号によって、信号処理装置12a が、シーケンサ26を駆動して、その業務従事者の搬出可小物物品31を収納している棚23a の表示器27にその小物物品31の所在位置を表示させる。

この実施例においては、シーケンサ26を駆動することによって表示器27に所在位置を表示させたが、信号処理装置12a で直接に表示器27に表示させることも可能である。

〔ストッカ部の第1の実施例〕
図2は、この発明によるストッカ部の第1の実施例の構造を示し、(a)は正面図、(b)は平面図である。

このストッカ部2bは、上下に移動する傾斜式の棚(図2では移動棚)23b を備え、モニタ部1bから測定皿4に搭載されて送り込まれた搬出可小物物品31を、測定皿4に搭載されたままで約5度の傾斜によって右方の所定位置まで移動させる。棚23b には、測定皿4を円滑に移動させるための不図示のころが装着されている。この傾斜式の移動棚23b は、2つの測定皿4を搭載できる長さを有し、そのほぼ中央には不図示のストッパが設けられている。このストッパは、棚23b の右側に搬出可小物物品31が収納された場合に、測定皿4が右側へ移動することを阻止するように作動し、右側に搬出可小物物品31が収納されていない場合には、ストッパとして機能しない。また、棚23b は、棚全体が棚昇降機構28によって上下に移動して、各棚にモニタ部1bから送り込まれた搬出可小物物品31を収納する。収納された搬出可小物物品31は、手前面に設けられた扉24が矢印の方向に開かれて、C1またはC2の方向に取り出される。

このストッカ部2bの場合には、棚毎に2つずつの搬出可小物物品31が収納されるので、ストッカ部の収納能力が大きくなり、棚の配置位置を取出し時の安全性の高い範囲に限定することが可能となる。
なお、この実施例では、2つの搬出可小物物品を直列に収納する場合を説明したが、3つ以上の搬出可小物物品を直列に収納する棚にすることもできる。

〔ストッカ部の第2の実施例〕

このストッカ部2dは、図6に示した従来例と同様に、モニタ部1dから測定皿4に搭載されて送り込まれた搬出可小物物品31をエレベータ昇降機構22で駆動されるエレベータ21で搬送して棚23c に収納する。測定皿4を円滑に棚23c 上の所定位置まで移動させるために、図4では水平に示しているが、棚23c には約5度の傾斜が設けられ、且つ不図示のころが装着されている。この実施例が従来技術と異なる点は、エレベータ21のステージ上には、図4において測定皿4を左から右に移動させるための不図示のコンベアに加えて、このコンベアを図4(b)における前後に移動させる移動機構が搭載されていることである。この前後移動機構によって、図4(b)に示すように、棚毎に2つの搬出可小物物品31が収納される。収納された搬出可小物物品31は、右面の扉24が矢印の方向に開かれて、B1またはB2の方向に取り出される。

〔小物物品モニタの第3の実施例〕
小物物品モニタの第1の実施例は、ストッカ部のIDカードリーダの読取り信号で信号処理部が搬出対象の小物物品を収納している棚の表示器を点灯してその小物物品の所在位置を示し、第2の実施例は、移動式の棚を搬出位置の高さに調節して搬出対象の小物物品を搬出位置に搬送してくるが、第3の実施例は、エレベータと棚との間で搬出可小物物品を載せた測定皿を授受する搬送機構を備えて、IDカードリーダの読取り信号で、信号処理装置が搬出対象の小物物品をストッカ部の搬出位置までエレベータで搬送するものである。

この実施例のモニタ部1eは、第1の実施例及び第2の実施例と同じ構成である。ストッカ部2eは、ストッカ部の第2の実施例と同様の棚毎に2つの搬出可小物物品31を収納する複数段の棚23d と不図示のコンベア及び前後移動機構とを装備したエレベータ21とを備えている。この実施例のストッカ部2eがストッカ部の第2の実施例のストッカ部2dと異なる点は、ストッカ部2dでは、搬出可小物物品31はエレベータ21のコンベアから棚23c に移されるだけであるのに対して、ストッカ部2eでは、棚23d に収納した搬出可小物物品31を再度エレベータ21上に搭載する機能を必要とすることである。この実施例においては、その機能をもたせるために、棚23d の右側に棚23d の右端部を上下に移動させる棚傾斜調節機構29が装備されている。搬出可小物物品31を収納する際には、棚傾斜調節機構29が棚23d の右端部を下げて棚23d を右傾斜にし、搬出可小物物品31をエレベータ21上に戻す際には、棚23d の右端部を上げて左傾斜にする。なお、左傾斜にした場合に、搬出対象の搬出可小物物品31以外を棚23d に止めておくために、棚23d には不図示のストッパが収納位置毎に装着されている。

請求項1の発明によれば、業務従事者が自分の小物物品を搬入する際にモニタ部IDカード読取り手段にIDカードを読み取らせることによって、搬入された小物物品とその所有者とが信号処理部に対応して把握され、その小物物品が搬出可小物物品であれば、その小物物品はストッカ部に収納されて、その収納位置が信号処理部に記録される。業務従事者がその小物物品をストッカ部から搬出する際には、ストッカ部IDカード読取り手段にIDカードを読み取らせることによって、信号処理部がその業務従事者の小物物品の収納位置を表示手段に表示させるので、業務従事者は自分の小物物品を容易に見つけることができる。したがって、この発明によれば、当人の小物物品が容易に探し出せる小物物品モニタを提供することができる。
