Description
また、駐車スイッチの操作と同時にシフトレバーを中立位置に復帰させた場合、人によってはこの瞬時の復帰移動に対して違和感を覚えるおそれがある。また、駐車スイッチの配設位置がシフトレバーの位置に近接しているような場合、或いは駐車スイッチがシフトレバー自体に設けられているような場合には、復帰移動するシフトレバーが駐車スイッチを操作している手に干渉しやすくなる。このような問題に対して前記構成のシフト装置によれば、駐車スイッチの操作時と時間をずらせてシフトレバーを復帰させることができるので、前記違和感の問題やシフトレバーと手との干渉の問題が解消される。

Claims (4)
- 複数のシフト位置のいずれかにシフトレバーを位置させることにより、自動変速機に設定された複数のレンジのいずれかを選択するシフト装置であり、前記複数のシフト位置は、前記シフトレバーが中立位置まで自動的に復帰するモーメンタリ位置と、前記シフトレバーが保持される保持位置とからなり、かつ駐車レンジを選択する駐車スイッチが設けられたシフト装置であって、
前記保持位置に保持された前記シフトレバーを、前記駐車スイッチを操作して駐車レンジにしたときに前記中立位置に復帰させる復帰手段を備え、復帰をさせるにあたり、前記駐車スイッチを操作して駐車レンジにしたときから所定時間経過後、或いは車両に関する所定動作後に復帰させる構成としたことを特徴とするシフト装置。 - 後進レンジに対応するリバース位置、若しくはローレンジに対応するロー位置の少なくとも一方が前記保持位置からなることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のシフト装置。
- ニュートラルレンジに対応するニュートラル位置及びドライブレンジに対応するドライブ位置が前記モーメンタリ位置からなると共に、前記リバース位置及びロー位置が前記保持位置からなり、
前記ニュートラル位置と前記ドライブ位置とは前記中立位置を挟んで前記シフトレバーの直線移動軌跡上に位置し、前記リバース位置及びロー位置は前記直線移動軌跡の方向から外れた位置に設けられていることを特徴とする請求項2に記載のシフト装置。 - 複数のシフト位置のいずれかにシフトレバーを位置させることにより、自動変速機に設定された複数のレンジのいずれかを選択するシフト装置であり、前記複数のシフト位置は、前記シフトレバーが中立位置まで自動的に復帰するモーメンタリ位置と、前記シフトレバーが保持される保持位置とからなり、かつ駐車レンジを選択する駐車スイッチが設けられたシフト装置の制御方法であって、
前記保持位置に保持された前記シフトレバーを、前記駐車スイッチが操作され、駐車レンジになったときに前記中立位置に復帰させ、該復帰をさせるにあたり、前記駐車スイッチを操作して駐車レンジにしたときから所定時間経過後、或いは車両に関する所定動作後に復帰させることを特徴とするシフト装置の制御方法。
