発声ピッチ検出手段と、操作入力手段と、制御手段と、表示手段を備え、演奏予約の待ち行列に登録された楽曲番号に従って各楽曲のカラオケデータに基づく伴奏音楽を順番に演奏するカラオケ装置であって、
カラオケデータは、歌唱の際に発声すべき主旋律の指示ピッチを含み、
発声ピッチ検出手段は、マイクロホンから入力された歌唱音声信号から発声ピッチを逐次検出し、
操作入力手段は、演奏予約する楽曲番号に声域告知機能番号を対応付けした利用者入力を受け付け可能とし、
制御手段は、声域告知機能番号を伴って演奏予約された楽曲番号の楽曲を演奏する際に第1〜第3処理を行い、
第1処理は、カラオケデータの演奏処理に伴って逐次取得した指示ピッチと、発声ピッチ検出手段が逐次検出する発声ピッチとの誤差を逐次取得し、指示ピッチと誤差との関係を記録し、
第2処理は、第1処理で記録した指示ピッチと誤差との関係に基づいて、基準誤差内部分における最高の指示ピッチを高音側限界ピッチとして抽出し、
