【発明の属する技術分野】
本発明は、吸着式冷凍機における温度制御システムに関し、特に、温度変動を嫌う熱源として用いられる吸着式冷凍機内を循環する熱媒体の温度変動を抑えた温度制御システムに関する。

従来技術として、本出願人により平成13年6月15日付けで出願された特願2001−182029がある。この従来技術においては、高温発熱体のエネルギーを使用して同じ空間内に存在する低温発熱体を冷却する吸着式冷凍機が開示されている。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
従来の吸着式冷凍機においては、冷却システムを外気温度や湿度に依存して作動させると、吸着器内の熱バランスが変化し、高温発熱体を循環する循環流体である熱媒体に温度変動が発生し、温度変動を嫌う機器の冷却には適用できないという課題があった。

本発明の目的は、上記課題を解決するために、外気温度や湿度が変動しても常に高温発熱体を循環する熱媒体の温度変動を一定の範囲に抑制し、それにより温度変動に対する機器破損防止や機器寿命の安定化を可能とする、吸着式冷凍機における温度制御システムを提供することにある。
また、本発明は、熱媒体の温度変動を一定の範囲の抑制することに伴う騒音を抑制することを目的とする。

【課題を解決するための手段】
上記課題を解決するために、請求項1に記載の発明では、温度制御手段は、室外熱交換器内に流入する熱媒体の温度、室外熱交換器から流出する熱媒体の温度のうち少なくとも一方に応じて前記ファンの回転数を制御することにより、脱離工程と吸着工程との切り替わり時の熱媒体の温度の変動幅を一定の範囲に抑えるようにした。

これにより、パターンが切り替わるまでの間はファンは低速で回転する。したがって、ファン風量の変更回数は少なくなるので、ファン風量変更に伴う耳障りな音を低減させることができる。
請求項6〜9記載の発明によれば、予め定められた条件とは、第1集熱器から吸着器に流入する水の温度が目標温度以上になった時、第2の発熱体3から吹出される空気の吹出温度が所定温度以上になった時、吸着パターンの継続時間に所定時間を加算した時間が経過した時、吸着パターンの切り換え時から所定時間以上経過した時のいずれかである。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下、本発明の実施の形態を図面によって詳述する。全図を通じて同一部材または類似部材には同一の参照符号を付してある。
(第一の実施の形態)
図1は本発明の第一の実施の形態による吸着式冷凍機における温度制御システムを示す図である。

本実施の形態は、本発明に係る吸着式冷凍機を携帯電話基地局(以下、基地局と略す。)内の電子機器の冷却に適用したものであって、基地局1内には、比較的発熱量が多く、かつ、高温となる電波出力用アンプ、電波出力制御盤、整流器、電子機器、電気機器及び電気変換器等からなる第1発熱体2と、第1発熱体2より低温で冷却する必要がある回路制御盤、バッテリ、電子機器、電気機器及び電気変換器等からなる第2発熱体3と、両発熱体2、3を冷却する冷凍機4(冷却手段、一点鎖線で囲まれた部分)とが設けられている。なお、両発熱体2及び3は単独で稼動するものではなく、両者が連動して稼動するものである。

ここで、冷凍機4は、第1発熱体2から吸熱し、その吸熱した熱により吸着剤を過熱することにより稼動する吸着式冷凍機であり、以下、吸着式冷凍機(冷凍機4)について述べる。

なお、吸着剤は、冷媒(本実施の形態では水)を吸着するとともに、過熱されることにより吸着していた冷媒を脱離するもので、本実施の形態では、シリカゲルやゼオライト等の固体吸着剤を採用している。

4a及び4bは内部が略真空に保たれた状態で冷媒が封入された吸着器であり、この吸着器4a及び4b内にはそれぞれ、吸着剤と熱媒体(本実施の形態では、エチレングリコール系の不凍液が混入された水)とを熱交換する第1熱交換機(吸着コア)5a及び5bと、熱媒体と吸着器4a及び4b内に封入された冷媒とを熱交換する第2熱交換機(蒸発/凝縮コア)6a及び6bとが収納されている。

なお、本実施の形態では、吸着式冷凍機4は複数個(2個)の吸着器4a及び4bから構成されており、紙面右側の吸着器4a(以下、第1吸着器4aと呼ぶ。)と紙面左側の吸着器4b(以下、第2吸着器4bと呼ぶ。)とは、同じ構成であるので、両者を総称して呼ぶときは、吸着器4と表記する。また、熱交換機5a及び5bの添え字aは第1吸着器4a内の熱交換機であることを示し、bは第2吸着器4b内の熱交換機であることを示す。

7は基地局1の建物外に配設された熱媒体と室外空気(放熱対象)とを熱交換する室外熱交換器であり、8は熱媒体を室外熱交換器7に供給するリザーブタンクである。
2aは第1発熱体2で発生する熱を集めてその熱と熱媒体の熱とを熱交換させる第1集熱器であり、3aは第2発熱体3で発生する熱を集めてその集めた熱と熱媒体の熱とを熱交換させる第2集熱器であり、9a〜9eは熱媒体流れを切り替えるロータリ式バルブ(以下、バルブと呼ぶ。)であり、10a〜10cは熱媒体を循環させるポンプである。

本実施の形態により、室外熱交換器7の空気の出入り口に温度センサ12aを設け、ECU(電子制御装置)13は温度センサ12aの出力に応じてファン11aの回転数を制御するようにした。

次に、冷凍機の基本作動モードについて説明する。

このモードは、以下に述べる第一、第二の基本作動モードを所定時間毎にあるいは予め定められた条件が満たされると切換運転するものである。因みに、所定時間は、吸着剤に吸着されていた冷媒を脱離させるに必要な時間に基づいて適宜選定されるものである。

なお、本実施の形態では、第1発熱体2は150℃以下となるように冷却(吸熱)され、第2発熱体3は外気温度(55℃〜60℃)以下程度となるように冷却され、吸着式冷凍機4は70℃以上、100℃以下で所定の冷凍能力を発揮するように各種諸元が決定されている。

以下、冷媒を蒸発させて冷凍能力を発揮しつつ、その蒸発した気相冷媒を吸着剤にて吸着させている状態にある吸着器4a又は4bのことを、「吸着工程にある吸着気4a又は4b」と呼び、吸着剤を加熱して吸着していた冷媒を脱離させつつ、その脱離した冷媒を冷却凝縮させている状態にある吸着器4a又は4bのことを、「脱離工程にある吸着器4a又は4b」と呼ぶ。

図2は図1におけるECU13の動作を説明するフローチャートである。同図において、ステップS21でファン特性V(rpm/°C)を予め入力する。このファン特性は、外気温度に対応する最適ファン回転数を示すマップである。

(第二の実施の形態)
図3は本発明の第二の実施の形態による吸着式冷凍機における温度制御システムを示す図である。本実施の形態においては、温度センサ12bは室外熱交換器7に入力される熱媒体の温度を測定するものであり、温度センサ12cは室外熱交換器7から出力される熱媒体の温度を測定するものである。ECU13は温度センサ12a及び12bの少なくとも一方の出力に応じてファン11aの回転数を制御する。

図4は図3におけるECU13の動作を説明するフローチャートである。同図において、ステップS41にて室外熱交換器7の入力水温(熱媒体の温度)の設定値T1を設定する。次いでステップS42にて室外熱交換器7の出口水温(熱媒体の温度)の設定値T2を設定する。次いでステップS43にて、温度センサ12bにより測定された室外熱交換器7の入力水温を検知する。

(第三の実施の形態)
図5は本発明の第三の実施の形態による吸着式冷凍機における温度制御システムを示す図である。本実施の形態においては、第一及び第二の実施の形態における単一の室外熱交換器7に替えて、2つの室外熱交換器7a及び7bを備えている。

(第四の実施の形態)
図8は本発明の第四の実施の形態による吸着式冷凍機における温度制御システムを示す図である。本実施の形態においては、第一の実施の形態における室外熱交換器7への空気の出入口に設けられた温度センサ12aに替えて,第1集熱器2aからの熱媒体の出口に温度センサ12fが設けられている。その他の構成は図1に示した温度制御システムと同じである。

図10は本発明の第5の実施の形態による吸着式冷凍機における温度制御システムを示す図である。同図は図5と実質的に同じであり、同一参照符号は同一物を示す。図10では図5を更に詳細に示してある。即ち、基地局1内に存在する第1発熱体2は最大で12台の増幅器(AMP)と集熱器からなり、第2発熱体3にはモデム(MDE)が含まれている。また、吸着式冷凍機4内には冷凍用の室内器100が設けられている。基地局1内に室内機100を含ませてもよい。
図10には、図5に図示されていない要素として、第1発熱体2の入力側に設けられた非常用ニ方バルブ9e、第1発熱体2の出力側に設けられた非常用ニ方バルブ9f、第1室外熱交換器7aからの熱媒体の出口に設けられた冗長用三方バルブ9g、第1発熱体2からの熱媒体の出口に設けられた温度センサ12g、室外機100から第2発熱体3に向けて吹き出される空気の温度を検出する吹出温センサ12h、第1室外熱交換器7aと第2室外熱交換器7bとの間に設けられた室外機切替用三方バルブ9i、基地局1と吸着式冷凍機4の間に設けられたメンテナンス用オン/オフバルブ101、102、および吸着式冷凍機4と室外年津交換器7a,7bの間に設けられたメンテナンス用オン/オフバルブ103から106が示されている。
図11は図10に示した温度制御システムによるバルブ9a〜9dのオン/オフの制御のタイミングとファン回転数の変更との関係を示すグラフである。同図に示すように、2方−4方バルブ9aおよび9bが開いており、2方-4方バルブ9cおよび9dが閉じている間は第一の吸着パターン(Aパターン、第一の基本動作モード)であって、吸着器4aは脱離工程を行い、吸着器4bは冷却工程を行う。また、2方−4方バルブ9aおよび9bが閉じており、2方-4方バルブ9cおよび9dが開いている間は第二の吸着パターン(Bパターン、第二の基本動作モード)であって、吸着器4aは吸着工程を行い、吸着器4bは脱離工程を行う。Aパターンでは、所定時間間隔毎の第一の吸着パターン2方−4方バルブ9aが開から閉に切り替わり時から所定時間T1の後に2方−4方バルブ9bが開から閉に切り替わる。また、Bパターンでは2方−4方バルブ9cが閉から開に切り替わり時から所定時間T2の後に2方−4方バルブ9dが閉から開に切り替わる。このように、切り替わりのタイミングを若干ずらすのは、温水と冷水が吸着式冷凍機内で混合することを防止するためである。
本実施の形態により、AパターンとBパターンとの切り替わり時に、温度制御手段を制御するようにした。具体的にはファン11aおよび11Bの回転数を変更するようにした。
図12は図10に示した温度制御システムにおける吸着パターンの切替えおよびファンの風量変更動作を説明するフローチャートである。同図において、ステップ121〜124にて水温センサ12gによる検出水温が目標水温TWM以上か、吹出温センサ12hからの検出温度TFIが所定温度、例えば35℃以上か、前回のパターンの継続時間に所定時間、例えば60秒を加算した時間が経過したか、又はパターンの切替え後、所定時間、例えば720秒経過した場合のいずれかで、ステップ125にて吸着パターンがAからB又はBからAに切り替わる。この切替えは、対応する冷水ポンプをオフにし、ロータリ式バルブ9a〜9dの切替えにより行われる。
次いで、ステップ126にて第一の実施の形態から第四の実施の形態で説明した温度制御システムの制御が行われる。
次いで、ステップ127にて吸着ファン11aおよび凝着ファン11bの回転数をECU13(図1、図3、図5、図8参照)により制御して風量を変更し、スタートに戻る。
これにより、パターンの変更時にのみファンの風量が変更されるので、ファン回転数を常時変更することに比べて風切り替わり音の変動はモータ回転数の変動による音の変化が耳につく音となるといった問題は軽減される。
