【0001】

[Technical field to which the invention belongs]
The present invention relates to a woven fabric for a toothed belt used by being laminated on a meshing surface of a toothed belt, and a method for manufacturing the toothed belt.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Generally, a toothed belt is a gear-shaped meshing surface in which gear-shaped lateral grooves are arranged at equal intervals in the direction perpendicular to the belt running direction on the inner surface side of a ring-shaped rubber belt embedded with a core wire, and a woven fabric is laminated on the surface. And is used as a power transmission member between the pulleys by meshing with a plurality of toothed pulleys.
[0003]
In general, a toothed belt is manufactured using a cylindrical molding die in which a large number of gear-shaped grooves are arranged at equal intervals along the axial direction of the outer peripheral surface in order to form a meshing surface. An example will be described. First, a toothed belt woven fabric impregnated with a drug such as resorcin-formalin-rubber latex (also referred to as RFL) is wound around the outer peripheral surface of the molding die for molding the mating surface, Wrap a cord on the surface. Further, an unvulcanized rubber sheet is wound, heated and pressurized, vulcanized and molded. The woven fabric is pushed into a mold together with a rubber sheet, and is stuck to the surface of the meshing surface and laminated. The molded product formed by vulcanization is removed from the mold and cut into a ring shape with a required belt width to form a toothed belt. The circumferential direction in the cylindrical mold is the longitudinal direction (running direction) of the belt.
[0004]
In the conventional manufacturing method, the above-described toothed belt woven fabric is woven using a stretchable yarn that develops required breaking elongation and stretch stress at the time of belt production as a weft yarn and a non-stretchable yarn as a warp yarn. The woven fabric is cut in the transverse direction with a predetermined width, wound with the stretchable yarn used for the weft yarn in accordance with the circumferential direction of the cylindrical mold, and formed into a toothed belt, the direction of the stretchable yarn In the longitudinal direction of the belt.
[0005]
The reason why such a procedure has been adopted for the woven fabric for the toothed belt will be described. Usually, a woven fabric woven for a toothed belt is once wound up on a roll after weaving and sent to a post-processing step. The wound woven fabric is continuously taken up in a post-processing step, and subjected to treatments such as relaxation, scouring, dyeing, impregnation with RFL, and application of rubber glue. During this time, the woven fabric is often subjected to tension in the longitudinal direction. For example, when impregnated with a chemical, the woven fabric is immersed in an adhesive tank so as to impregnate the adhesive, and is pulled up by a nip roll. When a stretchable yarn is used for the warp of the woven fabric, the stretchable yarn is stretched in the warp direction due to the tensile stress received in these processes and molded in the stretched state. The elasticity cannot be maintained.
[0006]
In conventional woven fabrics for toothed belts, non-stretchable yarn is used for the warp yarn, and the stretchable yarn is used for the weft yarn to avoid the tensile force during the process from being applied to the stretchable yarn. After that, the weft yarn was laminated in accordance with the circumferential direction of the molding die that is the longitudinal direction of the belt, so that the elongation characteristics of the woven fabric had to be maintained.
[0007]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
Now, as a recent trend, the need for low-volume, multi-product production has also increased for toothed belts. However, in the conventional woven fabric for a toothed belt, the length in the stretch direction of the woven fabric, that is, the length in the longitudinal direction of the belt is limited to the width direction of the relatively short stretch woven fabric. In the production of varieties, not only the toothed belt manufacturing process is complicated, but also when woven fabrics used for toothed belts of different lengths are manufactured at the same time, there is a problem that wasteful woven fabrics are easily generated. It was. The present invention has been completed to solve these problems.
[0008]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The present invention will be described with reference to the drawings illustrating exemplary embodiments. As a means for solving the above-mentioned problem, the present invention provides a stretchable woven fabric 1 using a stretchable warp yarn 3 having a heat shrinkability comparable to that of the stretchable warp yarn 3 in post-processing after weaving. Water shrinkage is 15
High shrinkage polyester yarn or high shrinkage nylon yarn in the range of ~ 80%, and
A non-stretchable portion 2 using a non-stretchable warp yarn 4 selected from a highly shrinkable water-soluble vinylon yarn having a 70 ° C. hot water shrinkage in the range of 10 to 80% is provided at the center and both ends of the woven fabric.
A constant and toothed belt fabric, characterized in that woven integrally woven in stripes to provide. The stretchable woven fabric 1 excluding the non-stretchable portion 2 preferably has a breaking elongation (elongation) in the vertical direction of at least 70% after post-processing,
It is preferable that the stretching stress at 50% elongation in the vertical direction does not exceed 130N. As the elastic warp yarn 3, nylon false twisted yarn or elastic yarn is suitable.
[0009]
Further, in the present invention, the above-described toothed belt woven fabric 6 is woven and subjected to necessary post-processing to cut out the non-stretchable portion 2, and the direction of the stretchable warp yarn 3 constituting the remaining stretchable woven fabric 1 is determined. A method for manufacturing a toothed belt is provided, wherein a toothed belt is manufactured by winding the toothed belt so as to coincide with a circumferential direction of a cylindrical mold for forming a meshing surface of the toothed belt.
[0010]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Embodiments of the present invention will be described below in detail with reference to the drawings. FIG. 1 is a schematic plan view of a woven fabric for a toothed belt according to the present invention, and FIG. 2 is a partially cutaway perspective view illustrating the configuration of the toothed belt. Among the characteristic values given in the present invention, the breaking strength, breaking elongation, hot water shrinkage, and expansion / contraction recovery rate are JIS L1013 “tensile strength and elongation”, “hot water shrinkage”, “stretching expansion / contraction”. The 50% elongation stress is a value read from the tensile strength-elongation curve of JIS L1013 "Tensile strength and elongation". In many cases, the boiling water shrinkage is used as the hot water shrinkage, but it is measured at a hot water temperature that is practically significant depending on the heating temperature in the subsequent process and the characteristics of the yarn to be measured.
[0011]
The present invention is a woven fabric for a toothed belt which is woven using a stretchable warp yarn 3 but is not subjected to tension in a post-processing step after weaving. By providing 6, the problem is solved. Specifically, in the elastic woven fabric 1 woven using the elastic yarn 3 in the warp yarn, the elastic yarn 3 and the elastic yarn 3 are formed by post-processing applied after weaving, that is, dyeing, resin processing, drying, and the like. Teeth woven integrally with the stretchable woven fabric 1 by weaving at least one non-stretchable portion 2 using the non-stretchable yarn 4 which is heat-shrinkable to the same extent but having poor stretchability as a warp. It is a woven fabric 6 with a belt.
[0012]
The heat shrinkage caused by post-processing is substantially expressed as the sum of the hot water shrinkage rate and the stretch recovery rate for stretchable yarns, and the hot water shrinkage rate for non-stretchable yarns because the stretch recovery rate is small. The Further, the “same level” range may be a range that does not cause inconvenience in use of the stretchable woven fabric due to a difference in heat shrinkage, and means a level that is not inconsistent.
[0013]
In the post-processing step of manufacturing the toothed belt woven fabric 6, in order to perform various operations such as relaxation, dyeing, RFL and other chemical impregnation, and rubber paste application, it is continuously run or immersed in a chemical bath to increase the weight. The operation of generating a considerable tension in the vertical direction, such as pulling up the woven fabric, becomes necessary, but the stretch of the stretchable woven fabric 1 is suppressed by the non-stretchable portion 2 woven in a striped shape, and its characteristics are improved. Necessary post-processing can be applied to the elastic woven fabric 1 without losing it. In the toothed belt woven fabric 6 subjected to post-processing, the elastic woven fabric 1 remaining by cutting away the non-stretchable portion 2 is used for manufacturing a toothed belt.
[0014]
The elastic warp 3 of the woven fabric for toothed belt of the present invention is preferably an elastic yarn such as nylon false twisted yarn called polyurethane wool or polyurethane core yarn, but other olefinic synthetic fibers such as polyester can be used. A false twisted yarn can also be used. The woven fabric 1 desirably has a breaking elongation in the warp direction of the stretchable woven fabric 1 excluding the non-stretchable portion 2 of at least 70% in order to sharpen the tooth profile of the belt. Similarly, the stretching stress at 50% elongation in the warp direction of the stretchable woven fabric 1 excluding the non-stretchable portion 2 may not exceed 130 N, preferably 80 N, at which high strength is obtained with low stress. desired. The stretch recovery rate of the stretchable warp yarn 3 is in the range of 15 to 70%, preferably 40% or more, particularly preferably 50% or more. The strength of the stretchable warp yarn 3 is preferably 3 to 6 cN / dtex, the elongation is 15 to 40%, and the boiling water shrinkage is preferably 2 to 7%. The fineness is generally 33 to 330 dtex, and depending on requirements, these may be combined to obtain a large fineness, and the upper limit is about 1000 dtexd.
[0015]
Further, as the non-stretchable yarn 4 used for the warp yarn, a non-stretchable yarn which is thermally contracted to the same extent as the stretchable warp yarn 3 by heat treatment applied after weaving and has poor stretchability is used. That is, as the high shrinkage polyester yarn and the high shrinkage nylon yarn, those having a boiling water shrinkage in the range of 15 to 80%, preferably 40 to 60% can be suitably used. In addition, a high shrinkage water-soluble vinylon yarn having a 70 ° C. hot water shrinkage rate of 10 to 80%, preferably 50 to 70% is suitable. Any non-stretchable yarn satisfying the above conditions may be natural fiber yarn, synthetic fiber yarn, filament yarn, spun yarn, high shrinkage polyester yarn and / or high shrinkage nylon yarn, and high shrinkage water-soluble vinylon yarn. Is preferred.
[0016]
The weft yarn 5 of the toothed belt woven fabric 6 of the present invention is preferably a non-stretchable yarn from the viewpoint of shape stability, but is not particularly limited. The elastic yarn may be appropriately selected in consideration of required product characteristics, tension in the transverse direction in the manufacturing process of the product, and the like.
[0017]
The structure of the toothed belt woven fabric 6 of the present invention can be appropriately selected according to the required characteristics, but in general, plain weave, satin weave, and twill weave are suitable. For weaving, a loom such as an air jet, rapier, or throughr may be used as appropriate. The toothed belt woven fabric 6 weaves at least one non-stretchable portion 2 into the stretchable woven fabric 1 in a striped manner. The width, position, spacing, etc. of the non-stretchable portion 2 are the tensions applied in post-processing. Therefore, it can be arbitrarily set on condition that the necessary characteristics of the stretchable woven fabric 1 are not affected. Preferably, the non-stretchable portion 2 having a width of about several centimeters is set at the center and both ends of the woven fabric.
[0018]
The toothed belt woven fabric 6 prepared as described above is usually subjected to necessary post-processing such as impregnation with a necessary medicine such as RFL and drying. The non-stretchable portion 2 of the toothed belt woven fabric 6 subjected to post-processing is cut out, and the remaining stretchable woven fabric 1 is used for manufacturing a toothed belt. A toothed belt weave wound around the mold surface of a cylindrical mold for forming the meshing surface 7 of the toothed belt, with the longitudinal direction of the toothed belt 9 and the direction of the stretchable warp 3 being the same. The core 8 is wound on the cloth, and further, an unvulcanized rubber sheet is wound, heated and pressurized, vulcanized, molded, and demolded. The demolded molded product is cut into a ring shape with a required belt width and finished to produce the toothed bell 10. 2 in FIG. 2 is a vulcanized rubber part.

【Example】
Examples of the present invention will be described below.
[0020]
Example 1
A 78 dtex-24f nylon yarn was subjected to false twisting under the conditions of 3400 false twists, 3% false twist feed, a heater temperature of 215 ° C., and a processing speed of 90 m / min to produce an elastic yarn. Table 1 shows the characteristic values of the elastic yarn. Since a 84 dtex-36f polyester yarn was used as the non-stretchable yarn, the characteristic values are also shown in Table 1.
[0021]
The warp yarn is arranged in the order of 2,000 stretch yarns and 200 non-stretch yarns, and 78 dtex-24f nylon yarn is used for the weft yarn. The warp density is 101 yarns / in and the weft density is 73. The plain fabric of this / in was woven at 550 rpm using an air jet loom. For weaving, stretchable yarn and non-stretchable yarn are arranged on a warping machine, wound around a warping beam, glued at a drying temperature of 65 ° C using a quick-drying paste (40 ° C pasting temperature). After execution, it was wound around a loom beam.
[0022]
The obtained woven fabric was put into a liquid dyeing machine, relaxed and refined with a refining agent mainly composed of a surfactant, and the paste was removed, followed by dyeing. Subsequently, in order to improve the adhesiveness with the resin, it was impregnated with a resorcin-formalin (RF) solution at 80 m / min through a padding device, and finished and set at 130 m / min to obtain a woven fabric for a toothed belt. The warp breaking elongation of this woven fabric was 115%, the warp breaking strength was 402 N / 3 cm, and the stress at 50% elongation was 33 N / 3 cm.
[0023]
In accordance with a general manufacturing method, a non-stretchable portion is cut out from the toothed belt woven fabric, and the remaining stretchable woven fabric is placed on the outer peripheral surface of the cylindrical toothed belt mold, in the warp direction and the mold periphery. Winding with the direction matched, the core wire was wound around the surface. Then, an unvulcanized rubber sheet was wound, heated and pressurized to vulcanize and molded, removed from the mold and cut into a belt width to produce a toothed belt. The manufacturing process was rationalized, the number of manufacturing steps was reduced, and no problems were found in the product.

Figure 0004163883
Example 2
A nylon yarn of 110 dtex-30f was false twisted under the conditions of 2800 false twists, 3% false twist feed and 215 ° C. heater temperature, and then combined to obtain an elastic yarn having a total fineness of 220 dtex. Table 2 shows the characteristic values of the elastic yarn. Since a high-shrinkage water-soluble vinylon yarn of 250 dtex-48f was used as the non-stretchable yarn, the characteristic values are also shown in Table 2. Using these elastic yarns and non-elastic yarns, a rapier loom was used in the same manner as in Example 1 to weave a 3/1 twill fabric having a density of 68 yarns / in and a weft density of 58 yarns / in at 400 rpm.
[0025]
The weave twill fabric was subjected to post-processing similar to that in Example 1 to obtain a woven fabric for a toothed belt. The warp breaking elongation of this woven fabric was 106%, the warp breaking strength was 964 N / 3 cm, and the stress at 50% elongation was 68 N / 3 cm. The manufacturing process was rationalized, the number of manufacturing steps was reduced, and there were no problems with the product.

【The invention's effect】
By utilizing the present invention, it has become possible to easily cope with a small variety of toothed belts. That is, the toothed belt can be formed and manufactured by matching the longitudinal direction of the toothed belt (running direction) with the longitudinal direction of the toothed belt, not the width of the woven fabric as in the prior art. Therefore, there is an effect that the process of cutting in the horizontal direction as in the past can be rationalized, and in addition, the configuration of the manufacturing process for variety diversification becomes easy. Furthermore, it is possible to change the arrangement and density of the stretch warp yarns with an appropriate width, and simultaneously weave woven fabrics for toothed belts having different elongation characteristics, and simultaneously manufacture different toothed belts using the woven fabrics. In addition, since the woven fabrics for toothed belts with different lengths can be freely used, there is no waste of the woven fabric, the number of manufacturing steps can be reduced, and the dimensional stability in the vertical direction can be improved in quality. is there.
