本発明は、埋設等によって設置された長尺管の内壁面に塗料を塗布する塗装方法に関する。

【従来の技術】
従来、前記管体の内壁面に塗料を塗装するには、研磨処理施工後、管体の一端に連結した圧縮装置から圧縮空気を圧送し、管体内に嵌挿した塗布体(ピグ)を管体内で移動し、塗布体と共に送られる塗料を塗布するようにしていた。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
前記の塗装方法では、加圧空気を使用する為、装置が耐圧仕様で大規模となる。また圧縮装置からの弁体を開いて、圧縮空気を送ると、塗布体(ピグ)が瞬時に管体から飛出し、充分な塗装が行われない。従って、圧縮空気の調整が難しく熟練を要している。

【課題を解決するための手段】
本発明は斯様な実情に鑑み、吸引空気を利用する簡潔な装置でこの課題に対処するためのもので、管体の一端を弁体を介して大気に連絡し、他端は、弁体を介してバキューム装置に連結し、管体内に嵌挿した塗布体を、一端の前記バキューム装置の吸引によって生じた負圧だけ、この負圧に應じた空気を管体内に供給し、この動作を間欠に繰返し塗布体を管内で順次移動し、管内に送られた塗料で管体内面の塗装を行うようにした塗装方法を提供するものである。

【発明の実施の形態】
本発明の吸引と内圧差によるピグ式配管内面塗装方法を実施する一実施例を図を参照しながら説明する。
1は埋設された管体で、この管体1の一端にはU状に屈曲し、内部に塗装に応じた必要量の塗料3と塗料を塗布する塗布体(ピグ)2を嵌挿するU字管体1aを連結し、更に管体1aは端部に弁体4を介して大気に通じた通気管1bを連接してある。又、管体1の他端には膨大部5を備えた吸引管1cを連結し、更に吸引管1cの端部は開放弁6を設けると共に、弁体7を設けたバキューム装置8と可接管9を介して連結してある。

前記管体1aに嵌挿した塗布体2は、バキューム装置8からの吸引作用と、弁体4によって供給する空気で、塗料と共に管体1内に移動される。この時、管体1内の塗布体2は、バキューム装置8の停止と弁体4の閉止によってバランスよく停止状態を保っている。次に塗布作業を行うには、バキューム装置8の駆動による吸引作用によって塗布体2の吸引側には負圧が生じる。この負圧に対して他方側の弁体4を開き、前記負圧に応じた空気を供給する。この時塗布体2は空気の供給によってバランスを得るために押されて移動する。この吸引動作及び空気の供給を間欠に繰返し行うことで順次管体内を塗布体は移動し、管体内に塗料を塗装する。
更に塗装後の塗布体2は吸引管1c内を移動し、膨大部5まで移動すると、端面に凹凸部10aを有した受止管10によって受止められた後、開放弁6を開くことで吸引は解除される。

【発明の効果】
本発明は上述のように、管体内の内壁面は管体内の圧力差と、これに応じた空気の供給によって塗布体を管体内で順次移動させて塗装を行うため、従来のような操作に熟練を要することなく簡単で、塗装にも斑を生じない等の効果がある。
