BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to an engine control device that controls an engine torque or an engine rotation speed in accordance with a target torque of an engine, and in particular, an engine control device including a phase advance compensator that compensates for a target torque response delay by phase advance compensation Related to.
[0002]
[Prior art]
In order to stabilize the engine speed, it is necessary to have a characteristic that the engine torque decreases as the engine speed increases. The engine is moving in balance at the engine speed at which the required load torque characteristic and the torque characteristic generated by itself intersect. Here, in an internal combustion engine (engine) such as a diesel engine, the intake air amount is substantially the same regardless of the engine speed and the engine load, and the fuel injection amount injected into each cylinder of the engine is changed. And the engine torque is controlled.
[0003]
Therefore, conventionally, based on the engine speed and the accelerator opening, a basic injection amount (Q) is calculated using a characteristic map (see FIG. 6) or an arithmetic expression, and the calculated basic injection amount (Q) is calculated. The engine torque is calculated by calculating the command injection amount (QFIN) in consideration of the injection amount correction amount considering the engine coolant temperature, the intake air temperature, etc., and changing the fuel injection amount according to the command injection amount (QFIN). A diesel engine control device that controls the engine has been proposed (see, for example, Patent Document 1). In the engine control apparatus, the basic injection amount (Q) is set to be a predetermined injection amount pattern (governor pattern) with respect to the engine speed for each accelerator opening. That is, the governor pattern is well known as a means for expressing a static torque characteristic with respect to the engine speed and the accelerator opening.

Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 1-170741 (page 1-11, FIGS. 1 to 9)
[0005]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, the conventional governor pattern shows the static torque balance characteristics between the accelerator opening and the engine speed, and the response time and acceleration to the target engine torque against changes in the accelerator opening. The characteristics do not appear linearly as parameters. Therefore, it is very difficult to quantitatively grasp the engine torque transition over time. For this reason, in the conventional technology, for example, when changing the drivability (acceleration feeling or deceleration feeling) with respect to changes in the accelerator opening, the above-mentioned balance characteristics are changed by trial and error, or the skill of the fitter However, there is a problem that man-hours and man-hours increase and costs increase.
[0006]
OBJECT OF THE INVENTION
The object of the present invention is to express a feeling of acceleration / deceleration (acceleration feeling / deceleration feeling) with respect to a change in the accelerator opening in time, so that the man-hours are not dependent on trial-and-error techniques / expert experience. An object of the present invention is to provide an engine control device that can reduce artificiality.
[0007]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
According to the first aspect of the present invention, by providing the phase advance compensation means for setting the response of the target torque of the target torque setting means when the accelerator opening changes excessively, the target torque against the change in the accelerator opening is provided. The response can be defined quantitatively over time by means of physically meaningful constants. As a result, the acceleration / deceleration feeling (acceleration / deceleration) with respect to changes in the accelerator opening can be expressed quantitatively over time, so that the adaptability of drivability can be met regardless of trial-and-error methods / expert experience. Can be simplified. As a result, man-hours and man-hours can be reduced.
[0008]
further,
[0009]
[0010]
According to the fourth aspect of the invention, the peak value of the target torque response to the change in the accelerator opening is increased or decreased by changing the peak gain (K) continuously or stepwise according to the engine speed. Therefore, it is possible to flexibly change the feeling of acceleration or deceleration with respect to the change in the accelerator opening. This can mainly affect the feeling of acceleration or deceleration at the moment of change in the accelerator opening.
[0011]
According to the fifth aspect of the present invention, the convergence to the target torque after acceleration or deceleration is achieved by changing the time constant (ω) of phase advance compensation continuously or stepwise according to the engine speed. The time can be increased or decreased, and the feeling of acceleration or deceleration with respect to changes in the accelerator opening can be flexibly changed. This can primarily affect the increase in engine torque or engine speed after acceleration or deceleration.
[0012]
According to the sixth aspect of the present invention, the injection amount setting means for calculating the fuel injection amount according to the target torque, and the injection pressure setting means for calculating the fuel injection pressure according to the fuel injection amount and the engine speed. By providing the injection timing setting means for calculating the injection start timing according to the fuel injection amount and the engine rotation speed, by changing the fuel injection amount, the fuel injection pressure, and the injection start timing according to the target torque, The engine can be operated stably.
[0013]
According to the seventh aspect of the present invention, a plurality of pilot injections and pre-injections are performed before the main injection by setting the number of times of multi-stage injection according to the engine rotational speed detected by the rotational speed detecting means. It is possible to perform multi-stage injection (multi-injection) for performing the multi-stage injection (multi-injection) in which multiple after-injections and post-injections are performed after the main injection.

The flowchart of FIG. 2 is repeated at predetermined timings after an ignition switch (not shown) is turned on.

[Features of First Embodiment]
Here, FIG. 5 is a diagram showing an injection amount pattern for calculating the basic injection amount (Q) based on the engine speed (NE) and the accelerator opening (ACCP), and FIG. 6 shows a conventional governor pattern. FIG. 6 is a diagram showing a target torque response when the accelerator opening (ACCP) is changed stepwise from 40% to 70% (acceleration). This governor pattern shows a static balance characteristic between the accelerator opening (ACCP) and the engine speed (NE).
[0038]
For example, with the select lever set to the N (neutral) range, depressing the accelerator pedal to hold the accelerator opening (ACCP) at 40%, then depressing the accelerator pedal further to make the accelerator opening (ACCP) excessive. When the fuel injection amount is changed from 40% to 70%, in the known injector injection amount control (fuel injection amount control), first, the target torque is increased from about 50 (Nm) as the accelerator opening (ACCP) increases. Increase by about 150 (Nm).
[0039]
At this time, the fuel injection amount corresponding to the basic injection amount (Q) determined by the accelerator opening (ACCP) after change and the engine speed (NE) before change is changed from the injection hole of the
[0040]
Since the target torque tends to decrease to the right as the engine speed (NE) increases, the target torque and the fuel injection amount gradually decrease as the engine speed (NE) increases. Is balanced by the engine speed (for example, 3600 rpm) at which the required target torque characteristic and the actual torque characteristic generated by itself intersect. Depending on the conventional injection amount control, the target torque response when the accelerator opening (ACCP) is changed stepwise from 40% to 70% (during acceleration) is a governor pattern as shown in FIG. It was difficult to define the target torque response over time quantitatively, as determined by the slope of the slope (downward slope to the right).
[0041]
Next, FIG.3 (b) shows the figure of the target torque response when the accelerator opening (ACCP) changes stepwise. In the common rail fuel injection system of the present embodiment, the target torque response to changes in the accelerator opening (ACCP) is defined quantitatively over time using constants such as a physically meaningful control gain and time constant. I have to. In the common rail fuel injection system of the present embodiment, instead of the governor pattern of FIG. 6, as shown in FIG. 3, the target torque is input to the accelerator opening (ACCP) via the
[0042]
Here, the transfer function of the phase lead compensation is expressed by the following equation (1).
[Expression 1]
Where ACCP is the accelerator opening, TE is the target torque response, K is the peak gain of the target torque with respect to changes in the accelerator opening, ω is the time constant for phase advance compensation, and s is the Laplace operator It is.
[0043]
The peak gain (K) of the target torque and the time constant (ω) for phase advance compensation are defined as constants, and increasing or decreasing K increases or decreases the target torque with respect to the accelerator opening (ACCP). This makes it possible to change the feeling of acceleration. This is an element that mainly affects the acceleration / deceleration feeling at the moment of change in the accelerator opening (ACCP). Further, by increasing / decreasing ω, the convergence time to the target torque after acceleration can be increased / decreased, and the acceleration feeling can be changed similarly to K. This is a factor that mainly affects the torque increase after acceleration / deceleration.
[0044]
Therefore, when the accelerator opening (ACCP) is excessively increased (acceleration), the fuel injection amount (basic injection amount: Q) is changed corresponding to the above target torque response. A desired acceleration feeling with respect to a change in the driver's accelerator operation amount (depressed amount of the accelerator pedal) can be obtained. In addition, when the accelerator opening (ACCP) is excessively decreased (during deceleration), as with acceleration, the time passes quantitatively with constants such as control gain and time constant that are physically meaningful. By defining, a desired feeling of deceleration with respect to a change in the accelerator operation amount (depressed amount of the accelerator pedal) of the driver can be obtained.
[0045]
As described above, in the common rail fuel injection system according to the present embodiment, the target torque response to changes in the accelerator opening (ACCP) is quantitatively determined by constants such as a control gain and a time constant that are physically meaningful. By defining with the passage of time, the acceleration / deceleration feeling (acceleration feeling / deceleration feeling) with respect to changes in the accelerator opening can be quantitatively expressed with the passage of time. This makes it very easy to adapt the drivability (acceleration / deceleration feeling (acceleration / deceleration feeling) with respect to changes in the accelerator opening caused by an operation in which the driver has excessively changed the accelerator pedal depression amount). Regardless of the mistaken technique and the experience of the skilled person, it is possible to reduce the man-hours and man-hours for adapting, and the cost is reduced.
[0046]
[Second Embodiment]
FIG. 4 shows a second embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 4 (a) shows a change in the peak gain (K) of the target torque with respect to the engine speed (NE), and FIG. 4 (b). FIG. 4 is a diagram showing a change in the time constant (ω) of phase advance compensation with respect to the engine speed (NE), and FIG. 4C is a diagram showing a target torque response with respect to a change in accelerator opening.
[0047]
In the present embodiment, as the engine speed increases, the engine speed (NE) increases as shown in FIG. 4 (a) for the purpose of reducing the acceleration feeling with respect to changes in the same accelerator opening (ACCP). The peak gain (K) is reduced continuously or stepwise as the value is increased. That is, by changing the peak gain (K) of the target torque (TE) with respect to the change of the accelerator opening (ACCP) continuously or stepwise according to the engine speed (NE), the accelerator opening (ACCP) Since the peak value of the target torque response with respect to the change can be increased or decreased, the acceleration feeling or the deceleration feeling with respect to the change in the accelerator opening (ACCP) can be flexibly changed. This can mainly affect the feeling of acceleration or deceleration at the moment when the accelerator opening (ACCP) changes.
[0048]
In addition, as the engine speed increases, the engine speed (NE) increases as shown in FIG. 4B for the purpose of increasing the engine torque or engine speed (NE) after acceleration as the speed increases. The time constant (ω) for phase lead compensation is increased continuously or stepwise. That is, the convergence time to the target torque after acceleration or deceleration can be increased or decreased by changing the time constant (ω) of phase advance compensation continuously or stepwise according to the engine speed (NE). The acceleration feeling or the deceleration feeling with respect to the change in the accelerator opening (ACCP) can be flexibly changed. This can primarily affect the increase in engine torque or engine speed (NE) after acceleration or deceleration.
