Description

【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a bodily fluid absorption sheet and a bodily fluid absorbent article that absorb and retain bodily fluids .
[0002]
[Prior art]
In JP-A-8-196559, a liquid-absorbent core having a fiber assembly layer placed on top of a liquid-retaining layer in which pulverized pulp and highly water-absorbing polymer particles are mixed has a liquid-permeable surface sheet and a liquid-impervious property. Disposable diapers interposed between the back sheet and the back sheet are disclosed.
[0003]
In the core, the liquid retaining layer and the fiber aggregate layer are integrally covered with the tissue paper, and substantially the entire area of the overlapping surface of the liquid retaining layer and the fiber aggregate layer is intermittently fixed, and the layers and the tissue paper are mutually adhered. Almost the entire area of the overlapping surface is fixed intermittently. Even if the diaper is bent or twisted, the diaper can maintain a close contact state between the liquid retaining layer and the fiber assembly layer and the tissue paper, and can be obtained by using a large amount of superabsorbent polymer particles. It has an effect that the liquid retaining layer which has poor flexibility and can be easily loosened can be prevented from being deformed.
[0004]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
In the diaper disclosed in the publication, when the tissue paper is damaged while the diaper is worn, the contact state between the liquid retaining layer and the tissue paper is released, and the liquid retaining layer may lose its shape. Once the liquid retaining layer is deformed, it does not return to its original state. Moreover, in order to fully exhibit the core original function of absorbing and holding body fluid, it is preferable that the core is formed only from the liquid retaining layer. However, in this diaper, the liquid retentive layer itself does not have a means for preventing its deformation, and a fiber assembly layer and tissue paper must be used to prevent the deformation, A core cannot be formed from layers alone.
[0005]
An object of the present invention is to provide a bodily fluid-absorbing sheet and a bodily fluid-absorbing article that do not themselves lose shape and do not need to use other members to prevent the loss of shape.

[0010]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
With reference to the accompanying drawings, the details of the body fluid absorbent article using a such body fluid absorbing sheet it to the present invention, will be described as an example a disposable diaper and a sanitary napkin open- type, is as follows.
[0011]
1 and 2 are a partially broken perspective view of the disposable diaper 1 shown from the side of the top sheet 2 and a perspective view of the bodily fluid absorbing sheet 4, and FIGS. 3 and 4 are mixed yarns 7 a forming the bodily fluid absorbing sheet 4. These are a perspective view and an enlarged perspective view of the synthetic fiber 8 shown as a single body. FIG. 5 is a perspective view of a blended yarn 7b shown as another example. In FIG. 1, the horizontal direction is indicated by an arrow X, and the vertical direction is indicated by an arrow Y. The inner surface of the top sheet 2 and the back sheet 3 refers to the surface facing the body fluid absorbing sheet 4, and the outer surface of the sheets 2 and 3 refers to the surface not facing the body fluid absorbing sheet 4.
[0012]
The diaper 1 includes a liquid-permeable front sheet 2 positioned on the skin contact side, a liquid-impermeable back sheet 3 positioned on the skin non-contact side, a body fluid absorbing sheet 4 interposed between the sheets 2 and 3, and The fiber assembly 5 is comprised. The fiber assembly 5 is located on the upper part of the body fluid absorbing sheet 4. In addition to them, the diaper 1 has a substantially liquid-impervious leak-proof cuff 6 that is located on the outer surface of the topsheet 2 and extends in the longitudinal direction.
[0013]
The diaper 1 includes a front waistline region 15 and a rear waistline region 17 in the vertical direction, and a crotch region 16 positioned between the front and back waistline regions 15, 17. The diaper 1 extends in the lateral direction. Both end edges 1a extending and both side edges 1b extending in the vertical direction are provided. Both side edge portions 1 b form an arc in the crotch region 16 inward in the lateral direction of the diaper 1.
[0014]
The body fluid absorbing sheet 4 is fixed to the inner surface of the back sheet 3. The fiber assembly 5 is fixed to the inner surface of the top sheet 2. The body fluid-absorbing sheet 4 and the fiber assembly 5 have their overlapping portions fixed to each other.
[0015]
The body fluid absorbing sheet 4 is a net-like woven fabric formed from a blended yarn 7a obtained by blending synthetic fibers 8 and regenerated fibers 9, and made by weaving the blended yarn 7a. As shown in FIG. 4, the superabsorbent polymer particles 18 are mixed in the synthetic fiber 8. The synthetic fiber 8 can be obtained by mixing the superabsorbent polymer particles 18 in a molten thermoplastic synthetic resin and spinning it.
[0016]
The synthetic fiber 8 is formed from a polyolefin fiber. As the polyolefin fiber, at least one of a polypropylene fiber and a polyethylene fiber can be used. As the polyolefin fiber, a core-sheath type composite fiber, a parallel type composite fiber, or a sea-island type composite fiber made of polyethylene / polypropylene can be used. Moreover, a hollow fiber and a modified cross-section fiber can also be used for a polyolefin-type fiber.
[0017]
As the synthetic fiber 8, in addition to polyolefin fibers, polyester fibers and polyamide fibers can be used. The synthetic fiber 8 may be a mixture of at least two kinds of fibers selected from polyolefin fibers, polyester fibers, and polyamide fibers. As the regenerated fiber 9, a cellulose fiber made of rayon or acetate can be used.
[0018]
The highly water-absorbing polymer particles 18 include starch-acrylonitrile graft copolymer hydrolyzate, starch-based water-absorbing resin that is neutralized starch-acrylic acid graft copolymer, and vinyl acetate-acrylate copolymer. Saponified products, partially neutralized polyacrylic acid, and a polymer of a maleic anhydride-isobutylene copolymer and a water-soluble ethylenically unsaturated monomer can be used. The superabsorbent polymer particles 18 may be mixed not only in the synthetic fiber 8 but also in the regenerated fiber 9 or may be mixed only in the regenerated fiber 9.
[0019]
The fiber aggregate 5 prevents the discomfort that the body fluid absorbing sheet 4 gives to the wearer's skin, and functions as a cushion. The fiber aggregate 5 is a mixture obtained by mixing regenerated fibers and pulverized pulp, or a mixture obtained by mixing synthetic fibers, regenerated fibers and pulverized pulp, and is compressed to a given thickness.
[0020]
The blended yarn 7b in FIG. 5 is a blend of synthetic fiber 8 and recycled fiber 9, and superabsorbent polymer particles 18 are fixed to the peripheral surfaces of the fibers 8 and 9 using an adhesive (not shown). Has been. As the adhesive, a hot-melt adhesive or an ethylene-glycidyl (meth) acrylate copolymer described later can be used.
[0021]
In the blended yarn 7b of FIG. 5, the superabsorbent polymer particles 18 may adhere to the peripheral surfaces of the fibers 8 and 9 by utilizing their own adhesiveness. In this case, water may be added to the superabsorbent polymer particles 18 to adhere to the peripheral surfaces of the fibers 8 and 9, and then the superabsorbent polymer particles 18 may be dried. In the blended yarn 7b of FIG. 5, the superabsorbent polymer particles 18 need only adhere to at least one of the synthetic fiber 8 and the regenerated fiber 9.
[0022]
The content of the superabsorbent polymer particles 18 with respect to the blended yarns 7a and 7b is preferably in the range of 30 to 60% by weight. When the content of the superabsorbent polymer particles 18 is less than 30% by weight, the body fluid absorbing function of the body fluid absorbing sheet 4 is deteriorated. In the blended yarn 7a in which the superabsorbent polymer particles 18 are mixed into the synthetic fiber 8, when the content of the superabsorbent polymer particles 18 exceeds 60% by weight, the strength of the fiber 8 decreases when the fiber 8 is wet. May not be able to retain its form. In the blended yarn 7b in which the superabsorbent polymer particles 18 are fixed to the peripheral surfaces of the synthetic fiber 8 and the regenerated fiber 9, when the content of the superabsorbent polymer particles 18 exceeds 60% by weight, it absorbs moisture and swells. The superabsorbent polymer particles 18 can easily form a gel block, and the superabsorbent polymer particles 18 that have formed the gel block may interfere with the diffusion and absorption of the body fluid in the body fluid absorbing sheet 4.
[0023]
In the body fluid absorbing sheet 4, the fineness of the synthetic fiber 8 and the regenerated fiber 9 is preferably in the range of 1.5 to 100 dtex. If the fineness of the fibers 8 and 9 is less than 1.5 dtex, the strength of the fibers 8 and 9 is reduced and the fibers 8 and 9 are easily damaged. When the fineness of these fibers 8 and 9 exceeds 100 dtex, the rigidity of the blended yarns 7a and 7b increases, and the flexibility of the body fluid absorbing sheet 4 decreases.
[0024]
The number of fibers 8 and 9 in the blended yarns 7a and 7b is preferably in the range of 20 to 800. When the number of the fibers 8 and 9 is less than 20, the body fluid absorbing function of the body fluid absorbing sheet 4 is lowered, and the bending rigidity and the bending back property of the body fluid absorbing sheet 4 are lowered. If the number of the fibers 8 and 9 exceeds 800, the thickness of the blended yarns 7a and 7b itself increases, and the thickness of the body fluid absorbing sheet 4 becomes larger than necessary.
[0025]
A belt-like elastic member 10 around the trunk extending in the lateral direction is attached to both end edges 1a in an extended state. A plurality of leg-around elastic members 11 extending in the vertical direction are attached to both side edges 1b in the crotch region 16 in an extended state.
[0026]
The leak-proof cuff 6 is located in the vicinity of both side edges 1 b and extends from the crotch region 16 toward the front and rear waist regions 15 and 17. The cuff 6 has a fixed edge portion 6a extending in the longitudinal direction in the crotch region 16, a free edge portion 6b having a tendency to stand up above the top sheet 2, and a lateral direction of the diaper 1 positioned in the front and rear waist regions 15 and 16 It has fixed both end portions 6c lying inward. In the cuff 6, the fixed edge portion 6a is fixed to the both side edge portions 1b, and the fixed both end portions 6c are fixed to the both end edge portions 1a.
[0027]
In the cuff 6, a side portion 6d extends laterally outward from the fixed edge portion 6a. An elastic member 12 extending in the vertical direction is attached to the free edge 6b of the cuff 6 in an extended state. The elastic member 12 is covered by a part of the free edge 6b.
[0028]
In the diaper 1, when it is curved in the vertical direction with the top sheet 2 inside, the free edge 6 b of the cuff 6 contracts in the vertical direction along with the contraction of the elastic member 12, and the free edge 6 b becomes the top sheet 2. Stand up. In the diaper 1, the free edge portion 6 b of the standing cuff 6 forms a barrier against body fluid, and leakage of body fluid from the crotch region 16 can be prevented.
