Description

The present invention relates to a digital broadcast receiver capable of receiving digital broadcasts.
More specifically, the present invention relates to an apparatus capable of recording and reproducing digital broadcast content.

In recent years, the progress of electronic communication technology in mobile terminal devices typified by mobile phone devices has been remarkable, and such mobile terminal devices have become multifunctional and highly functional due to their convenience. The range of use is expanding. Examples of multi-function and high-function include, for example, communication functions such as Internet connection, e-mail functions, games, music playback, and FM broadcast reception.

By the way, digital broadcasting of satellite broadcasting and terrestrial broadcasting has progressed, and digital broadcasting capable of high-quality images, interactive broadcasting with participation of viewers, data broadcasting, etc. has been realized. In addition to broadcasting by video, data broadcasting such as weather forecasts, stock information, and various news has been digitized and broadcast.

A mobile phone incorporating a TV tuner is known, for example, as shown in Patent Document 1. In terrestrial digital broadcasting or satellite digital broadcasting, mainly for small portable receivers having high portability. Broadcasting using the transmission band of 1 or 3 or segment is scheduled.

From such a situation, it is desirable to integrate a device capable of receiving, playing back, and recording the above-described digital broadcast as a single device integrally with a mobile phone device represented by a mobile terminal device.
However, it is not possible to overcome limitations such as battery power capacity, lifetime, and recording capacity by simply combining and integrating an existing mobile phone device and the above-described digital broadcast receiving device.

An example of the configuration of a digital broadcast receiving device that assumes a case where a mobile phone device and a device capable of receiving digital broadcasting are integrally configured by an existing method will be described with reference to FIG.
The antenna 713, the transmission / reception unit 714, the nonvolatile memory 715, the camera 716, the operation unit 717, and the microphone (MIC) 711 are for satisfying basic functions as a mobile phone device.

The configuration of the digital broadcast receiving apparatus illustrated in FIG. 9 will be described.
A broadcast wave is received by an antenna 701 for receiving a broadcast wave, a channel is selected by a tuner unit 702 for adjusting a frequency to a designated program, and a signal extracted by the tuner unit 702 is demodulated by a demodulation unit 703. The demodulator 703 outputs a transport stream (TS). The TS is information multiplexed together with a video signal (video signal), an audio signal (audio signal), and a data signal. A specific example of TS will be described in relation to the description of the embodiment of the present invention with reference to FIG.
When the transport stream (TS) output from the demodulator 703 is encrypted, the descrambler 704 performs decryption.
The decoded transport stream (TS) is separated into a video signal, an audio signal, and a data signal by a TS separation unit 705, respectively.
The video signal separated by the TS separation unit 705 is decoded (decoded) by the video signal decoding unit 707 and displayed as a video on the display unit 709. The audio signal separated by the TS separation unit 705 is decoded by the audio signal decoding unit 706 and output from the speaker 710 as sound. The data signal separated by the TS separation unit 705 is processed by the data signal processing unit 708, converted into display data, and displayed on the display unit 709 in the form of characters, numbers, figures, and the like.
The control unit 712 performs channel selection control of the tuner unit 702 and controls the mobile phone device.

When recording a digital broadcast by the digital broadcast receiving apparatus described above, a method of re-encoding and recording a video signal and an audio signal reproduced as described above at a specified time, The stream itself can be recorded.
JP 2000-9920 A

However, if the mobile device and the digital broadcast receiving device described above are simply configured, the following problems are encountered.
In the conventional program recording method in digital broadcasting, since all of the designated program contents are recorded in the memory at the designated time, a large amount of memory is required for recording. In addition, a large capacity memory is required.
Even if a large number of memories or large-capacity memories are used, the problem of increased power consumption of the battery (storage battery) is encountered.
Also, when the memory capacity of the built-in recording medium is small, the recording time is shortened as a result, and when recording a program over a long time such as a sports program, it is impossible to record up to that result. In order to record the program to the end, there was a drawback that a memory of a great cost had to be installed.

An object of the present invention is to provide a digital broadcast receiving apparatus that is small and lightweight, excellent in portability, and practically usable.
Another object of the present invention is to overcome the above-mentioned problems and to provide a digital broadcast receiving apparatus suitable for a mobile object.

Broadcast programs (contents) are diversified, such as sports, music, dramas, movies, news, variety, and animation, but there are some movies, dramas, animations, etc. If you look only at the results, such as news, there are things that you don't have to see.
In sports and news programs, most users are satisfied if only the results can be recorded, and conversely, if the results cannot be recorded, they are often dissatisfied.
In addition, when a recorded music program is listened to later, it may be considered that no video is required.
In this way, depending on the broadcast program type, it is conceivable that the broadcast contents are divided into those that do not need to be recorded and those that do not need to be recorded.
In addition, when data is broadcast simultaneously with video and audio, the data plays a complementary role for video and audio (for example, the score of a baseball broadcast). It is not always necessary to record the data signal.
The present invention provides a digital broadcast receiver that is effective and highly useful (practical) in consideration of the characteristics of the broadcast contents.

According to the present invention, in a digital broadcast receiver configured to receive and output a stream in which a video signal, an audio signal, and a data signal are multiplexed, the video signal, the audio signal, and the data included in the received stream. When it is predicted that the recording is impossible, the recording unit records only the last data signal of the recording target program.

Preferably, the recording means monitors the remaining capacity of the recording means during recording, and when the remaining capacity exceeds a predetermined value, stops the recording operation and records only the last data signal of the program. According to the digital broadcast receiving apparatus of the present invention, since the recording format according to the broadcast content can be selected, the power consumption can be reduced and the storage capacity can be reduced.

Operation of the Digital Broadcasting Receiver The digital broadcast receiving antenna 101 continuously receives digital broadcast waves, and the tuner unit 102 selects a channel selected by the operation unit 115 and commanded by the control unit 112. Then, the broadcast content of the selected channel, that is, the transport stream (TS) is output to the demodulation unit 103.
The demodulator 103 demodulates the transport stream (TS) of the selected channel.

When the demodulated transport stream (TS) is scrambled, the descrambler 104 performs descrambling.
That is, when the transport stream (TS) is scrambled, the descrambler 104 for permitting reproduction by only a specific digital broadcast receiving apparatus (decrypting the encrypted broadcast of the limited reception method) It operates under the instruction of the control unit 112 and performs descrambling processing according to the scramble processing method.

In the transport stream (TS), as illustrated in an exemplary TS in FIG. 2, an audio signal, a video signal, a data signal, and program information are multiplexed on a packet basis.
For example, an audio signal and a video signal are compression encoded by the MPEG method.

The transport stream (TS) signal is separated into a video signal, an audio signal (audio / audio signal), a data signal, and program information for each packet by the TS separator 105.
The separated video signal is decoded by the video signal decoding unit 107 by, for example, the MPEG method and displayed on the display unit 109 as a video.
The separated audio signal is decoded by the audio signal decoding unit 106 using, for example, the MPEG method, and output from the speaker 110 as audio and / or sound.
The separated data signal is analyzed by the data signal processing unit 108, and when the content of the data signal is related to the broadcast service, it can be displayed / reproduced by the display means 109 or the like. Decode and display or play.

Examples of display displayed on the display unit 109 are illustrated in FIGS. 3A to 3D show examples of broadcasting services for digital broadcasting according to the present embodiment.
FIG. 3A shows a broadcast image of a baseball broadcast program, and shows the middle of a game sent simultaneously with the area 201 for displaying video on the display screen 200 of the display unit 109. This is an example in which the data is displayed divided into areas 202 for displaying data. In this case, the content of the data is displayed in synchronization with the progress of the program because it is complementary information for the baseball broadcast program.
FIG. 3B is an image of a broadcast of a music program. The video is displayed in an area 211 for displaying the video, and the name of the artist and the name of the song currently sung in synchronization with the video in the area 212 for displaying data. Is displayed as text data. The data signal in this case is also displayed in synchronization with the progress of the music program because it is complementary information of the program.
FIG. 3C shows a broadcast image of a weather forecast program, in which video is displayed in an area 221 for displaying video and weather forecast information is displayed as text data in an area 222 for displaying data. FIG. 3D shows a broadcast image of a news program. A video currently being described is displayed in an area 231, and a list of news broadcast in the news program is displayed in an area 232 where data is displayed. Is displayed. The content of the data in this case is not necessarily synchronized with the progress of the program, and may be displayed before the newscaster explains the news because it is independent information.

3A to 3D, the video from the video signal decoding unit 107 is displayed in the upper half area of the display unit 109, and the data signal processing unit 108 is displayed in the lower half area. Data is displayed.
With regard to data signals, in digital broadcasting, (1) when related to the broadcasting service being viewed, and (2) other, for example, functional services such as downloading for software update (update) of the digital broadcasting receiver Can be roughly divided into two types. The function service data signal is not limited to this, and the operation should be performed according to the designated contents.
In addition, the data signal in the broadcast service includes information such as character information, graphic information, a still image, a moving image, and audio, and is therefore decoded in the data signal processing unit 108 by a decoding unit suitable for each.

A case will be described in which the digital broadcast receiving device of the mobile phone device 100 with a recording broadcast receiving function in the digital broadcast receiving device is used as a digital broadcast recording device.
The recording means 117 mounted on the mobile phone device 100 with a broadcast receiving function has both a built-in fixed type that cannot be removed and replaced, and a case that it can be freely removed and replaced. Form may be sufficient. Hereinafter, a case where a card-type nonvolatile memory in which the recording unit 117 can be replaced is used will be exemplified.

There are various types of broadcast programs such as sports, music, dramas, movies, news, variety, and animation, but there are some movies, dramas, and animations that cannot be understood unless you watch them. If you look only at the results, there are things that you don't have to see.
In program broadcasting such as sports, most viewers will be satisfied if only the game results are known, even if they do not continue watching from the start to the end of the game for a long time. There are many cases of dissatisfaction.
Also, in the case of a music program broadcast or the like, when listening to recorded sound later, there may be a case where the video being played is not necessarily required.
As described above, depending on the type of broadcast program, it is divided into what needs to record all broadcasts and what does not need to be recorded.
In addition, when data is broadcast at the same time as video and audio, the data plays a complementary role for video and audio. The recorded data signal need not always be recorded in the recording means 117.
In view of the above circumstances, in the present embodiment, the recording format selection unit 116 is provided to select the format to be recorded in the recording unit 117 according to the user's desire and purpose.

4A to 4D show examples of signals selected from the transport stream (TS) signals. FIG. 4 (a) shows an example in which only the data signal is selected and recorded in the recording means 117, and FIG. 4 (b) shows the selected audio signal and data signal in separate files (audio file and data). 4 (d) shows a case where the selected audio signal and data signal are recorded as one file.
Hereinafter, it will be specifically described in relation to the embodiment of the present invention.

First Example The example shown in FIG. 4A shows an example in which only a data signal is recorded from a transport stream (TS) through a filter designated to selectively output only the data signal.

Second Example In the example shown in FIG. 4C, only the audio signal and the data signal are passed through a filter designated to selectively output only the audio signal and the data signal from the recorded transport stream (TS). An example of playing is shown.
Note that although the audio signal is output in real time, since one configuration of the data signal includes a plurality of packets (signals), necessary packets (signals) are displayed together.

Third Example FIG. 4B shows an example in which each signal is recorded in each file from the transport stream (TS) included in the broadcast wave. This file is stored in association with each other, and if one file is designated, the other file can be reproduced.

Fourth Example The example shown in FIG. 4D is based on the data signal and the audio signal from the transport stream (TS) included in the broadcast wave through a filter designated to selectively output only the data signal and the audio signal. An example of recording as a file (transport format) is shown.

Fifth Example The files shown in FIGS. 4B and 4D can reproduce or delete a designated signal in the embodiment described later.

In the case where the sixth example video signal records a plurality of video signals corresponding to a multi-channel (multi-angle), it can be reproduced or deleted by designating the channel. In addition, the reproduction and deletion of only the sub audio and sub audio are the same as described above.
In the above example, control information and the like are omitted.

The user uses the operation unit 115 to select a channel, a recording start time and a recording end time, and an object (format) to be recorded, for example, a video signal as illustrated in FIGS. 4 (a), (b), and (d). Only, audio signal only, data signal only, or any combination of video signal, audio signal and data signal. The contents are stored in the recording means 117. Note that the recording start time and the recording end time can be, for example, from the time when the user designates the start to the time when the end is designated, and as described later, the reserved recording time can be used. Further, it may be determined by selecting a program.
The control unit 112 and the recording format selection means 116 cooperate to select a channel in the tuner unit 102 in accordance with the recording format designated by the format, and a TS separation unit for the broadcast contents of the channel selected in the tuner unit 102 One of the audio signal, the video signal, and the data signal separated in 105 or a combination thereof is selected and recorded in the recording unit 117.
That is, when the user operates the operation unit 115 to select which of the video signal, the audio signal, and the data signal is recorded for the selected broadcast program, the control unit 112 detects the selection operation content. The selected content is set in the recording format selection means 116.
The recording format selection unit 116 writes the selected content (video signal, audio signal, data signal) into the recording unit 117 in units of packets, for example, in cooperation with the control unit 112. This makes it possible to record the packet unit signal of the selected type in the recording means 117.
In the present embodiment, since the signal to be recorded in the recording means 117 is a signal form as it is received (if the signal is selected, unnecessary signals are excluded), the recording processing load on the recording means 117 is small. That's it.
Moreover, since it is recorded by time multiplexing or the like, it can be selected individually.

Next, an example of the storage capacity of the recording unit 117 in the present invention will be described.
For example, it is assumed that a transport stream (TS) composed of a 96 kbps compression-encoded audio signal, a data signal of 32 kbps, and a compression-encoded video signal of 256 kbps is broadcast as a 384 kbps stream.
(1) When the program being broadcast is a music program and the user desires to record only the compression-encoded audio signal in the recording means 117, the same program is recorded in the recording means 117 for the same time. As for the recording capacity for recording, the recording capacity is 1/4 compared with the case where all the signals of the compression-encoded video signal, the compression-encoded audio signal and the data signal are recorded in the recording means 117. That's it.
(2) In a news program or the like, if the user wishes to record only the topics of the news broadcast at that time, the recording means 117 may include, for example, as illustrated in FIG. Since only the data signal needs to be recorded in the recording means 117, a recording capacity of 1/12 is sufficient as compared with the case where all the signals are recorded.
(3) As shown in FIG. 4 (b) or (d) in the music program, even when the user desires to record the audio signal and the data signal, it is 1 when all the above signals are recorded. A recording capacity of / 3 is sufficient.

As described above, by selecting only necessary signals and recording them in the recording means 117, the memory capacity can be greatly reduced. In addition, when a semiconductor memory such as a non-volatile memory that is generally used as the recording unit 117 is used, a large amount of current is consumed at the time of data access, so that the data recording capacity to be recorded can be reduced as described above. This also reduces power consumption. As a result, the battery life of the mobile phone device 100 with a broadcast receiving function is also prolonged.

Reproduction of the recorded data in the digital broadcast receiving apparatus The reproduction means 118 is used to reproduce the data recorded in the recording means 117 as described above. The reproducing unit 118 performs the following processing in cooperation with the control unit 112.
The user causes the display unit 109 to display a history list of data recorded in the recording unit 117 using the operation unit 115. At this time, the reproducing unit 118 displays the recording list recorded in the recording unit 117 on the display unit 109. In this display, when all the history lists cannot be displayed at once due to the screen size restriction of the display unit 109, the display is performed by scroll processing or the like.
The user selects a desired one from the list displayed on the display unit 109.
The reproduction unit 118 reads the selected data from the recording unit 117, and outputs the video signal to the video signal decoding unit 107, the audio signal to the audio signal decoding unit 106, and the data signal to the data signal processing unit 108.
As described above, the desired signal among the signals recorded in the recording unit 117 is output from the display unit 109 and the speaker 110.
An example of reproduction is shown in the second example described above and FIG.

Erasing the recorded data in the digital broadcast receiving apparatus In order to erase the data recorded in the recording means 117 as described above, the erasing means 119 is used. The erasing unit 119 performs the following processing in cooperation with the control unit 112.
The user causes the display unit 109 to display a history list of data signals recorded in the recording unit 117 using the operation unit 115. At this time, the erasing unit 119 displays the recording list recorded in the recording unit 117 on the display unit 109. In this display, when all the history lists cannot be displayed at once due to the screen size restriction of the display unit 109, the display is performed by scroll processing or the like.
The user selects a signal he wishes to delete from the list displayed on the display unit 109.
The erasing unit 119 performs a process of erasing the selected signal from the recording unit 117, and sets the erased portion as a recordable area.

Automatic deletion of recorded data in the digital broadcast receiving apparatus In addition to the above-described deletion, news and other items that have an expiration date in terms of immediacy and time can be automatically deleted after a predetermined time. .

Priority erasure of recorded data in the digital broadcast receiving apparatus. Also, a class (priority) is assigned to the contents to be recorded by the recording means 117, and the recording format selection means 116 has insufficient capacity to be recorded in the recording means 117. When the erasure unit 119 is instructed to erase a signal of a lower class (which may be a category) and the recording unit 117 secures an area to be recorded via the erasure unit 119, the recording format selection unit 116 The signal to be selected can be recorded.
When the recording area is secured in the recording unit 117, the recording format selection unit 116 performs the signal recording process described above.

The signal processing parts such as the control unit 112, the recording format selection means 116, the reproduction means 118, and the erasure means 119 can be integrally configured by a single microcomputer.

As described above, according to the first embodiment of the present invention, it is possible to provide a digital broadcast receiving apparatus that can reduce power consumption and reduce the storage capacity of the recording unit 117.
Therefore, the digital broadcast receiving apparatus of the present invention is smaller, lighter, more portable, and compatible with the mobile phone apparatus, and is compatible with the apparatus for mobile objects. Has an effect.
Therefore, by incorporating the digital broadcast receiving device into the mobile phone device, convenience and resource utilization are further improved.

Second Embodiment A second embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to FIG.
FIG. 5 is a timing chart showing an example of intermittently receiving and recording data broadcasts of news programs as shown in FIGS. 3 (c) and 3 (d).
Usually, a program such as a weather forecast is often handled as a part of a news program, so the broadcast is in the form shown in FIG.
When receiving periodically and intermittently at intervals of Δt (seconds), since nothing is recorded on the program at the time of the first reception, the recording means 117 displays all data signals that can be displayed in the area 232. Recording is performed in the recording unit 117.
In the case of broadcasting such as a news program, since the same data signal is repeatedly broadcast within a certain period of time, it is not necessary to record the same data signal in the recording means 117.
In the case of most broadcasts, the content of the data signal changes with the progress of the program, so that the user records only the data signal as shown in FIG. 4A via the operation unit 115. Is selected, it is not always necessary to operate the tuner unit 102 to the TS separation unit 105, which is a means for receiving digital broadcasts. The recording format selection means 116 receives the data signal that can constitute the display, and records the data signal in the recording means 117 if there is a change in the content of the data signal compared to the previous data signal recorded in the recording means 117. .

As described above, since the content of the data signal in the news program is information independent of the program progress, the recording operation is performed only when the content is different after the second time, so the next national weather is broadcast. Until then, the data signal is intermittently received, but the content of the data signal does not change, so that the recording operation to the recording means 117 is not required.
Since the contents of the data signal also change when the national weather is broadcast, new data that can be displayed is recorded in the area 222.
As described above, when only the data signal as shown in FIG. 4A is recorded in the recording unit 117 by the recording format selection unit 116, the receiving operation is intermittently performed in the tuner unit 102 to the TS separation unit 105. By recording and recording in the recording means 117, the current consumption in the recording means 117 can be greatly suppressed except during the receiving operation, so that power consumption can be reduced and the broadcast contents can be recorded. Is possible.

Third Embodiment FIG. 6 shows, as a third embodiment of the digital broadcast receiving apparatus of the present invention, a portable telephone with a broadcast receiving function provided with a reservation record setting means in the portable telephone apparatus with a broadcast receiving function 100 illustrated in FIG. It is a block diagram of telephone apparatus 100A.
Compared with the mobile phone device with broadcast receiving function 100 illustrated in FIG. 1, the mobile phone device with broadcast receiving function 100 </ b> A in FIG. 6 includes an electronic program recorded in the reservation recording setting means 401, the program type determining means 402, and the RAM 121. Table data 403 is added. Other configurations are the same as those of the mobile phone device 100 with a broadcast receiving function. Portions denoted by the same reference numerals as those of the mobile phone device with broadcast reception function 100 function in the same manner as the corresponding portions in the mobile phone device with broadcast reception function 100.
Note that the reservation recording setting unit 401 and the program type determination unit 402 may be integrated with the control unit 112.

Assume that the electronic program guide data 403 is stored in the RAM 121 in advance in the mobile telephone device with broadcast receiving function 100A.
When a program is reserved for recording by the user operating the operation unit 115, the program type determination means 402 is an electronic program in which information on the reserved program is recorded in the RAM 121 of the mobile telephone device with broadcast receiving function 100A. Table data 403 is collated and the program type is a program that broadcasts an independent signal that is not synchronized with video as a data signal, such as news, or the data signal is a sports program. If it is a program supplement information, but the program shows the progress only by looking at the supplement information, only the data signal is recorded in the recording means 117 as shown in FIG. To the reservation recording setting means 401.
The reservation record setting unit 401 notifies the control unit 112 when the set time comes, and the control unit 112 reads the reservation information from the reservation record setting unit 401 and adjusts the tuner unit 102 to the reserved program (channel). Then, it instructs the recording format selection means 116 to record only the data signal. The recording format selection means 116 causes the recording means 117 to record only the data signal according to the instructed contents.
As described above, only the data packet is recorded in the recording unit 117 according to the type of the reserved program, so that the recording capacity can be reduced.

In determining whether the program type determination means 402 should record only the data signal for the reserved program, for example, as described in the program arrangement information used for ARIB STD-B10 digital broadcasting, The determination is made based on the genre major classification and middle classification in the content descriptor.
For example, if the genre major category is “news / report”, “sports”, “information / wide show”, or if the genre major category is “hobbies / education”, the middle category is “conversation / language”, “infant / When it is elementary school student, junior high school student / high school student, university student / examination, lifelong education / qualification, etc., it is determined that the data packet is useful.

Also, in the case where the result is sufficient such as “general category” “sports” and “general category” “baseball” “soccer” “golf”, etc. As with the digital broadcast receiving apparatus, the data signal is intermittently received and only the result is recorded as a data signal by recording the last data, thereby greatly reducing the power consumption and recording capacity of the recording means 117. It becomes possible to do.

FIG. 7B is an example in which the broadcast content shown in FIG. 3A is intermittently received and recorded.
In this case, since the broadcast time is known at the time of program reservation, intermittent reception may be started several minutes before the end of the broadcast time. In general, in the case of a sports program, since there are many broadcasts in real time, the broadcast end time is often around the schedule. However, when the game relay ends early, there are almost no cases where the explanation of the game results or interviews are continued because of the program frame, so the broadcast will rarely end earlier than scheduled. Therefore, it is sufficient to intermittently receive from the end of the broadcast time until the end of the broadcast.
In addition, in the case of sports broadcasts such as baseball and soccer, most of them are programs of 1 hour or more (most are about 2 hours), so a large amount of power is required to receive all of them, and the battery is consumed. Intense. As described above, when recording a sports broadcast or the like with the digital broadcast receiving device of the mobile phone device 100 with a broadcast receiving function, the recording means 117 may intermittently receive and record immediately before the end of the game (near the end of the program). It becomes indispensable for reduction of recording capacity and power consumption.

Fourth Embodiment FIG. 8 shows, as a fourth embodiment of the digital broadcast receiving apparatus of the present invention, a memory capacity determining means 601 and a recording capacity calculating means 602 in a mobile telephone apparatus with broadcast receiving function 100A illustrated in FIG. It is a block diagram of the provided mobile telephone device 100B with a broadcast receiving function.
In the mobile phone device with broadcast receiving function 100B in FIG. 8, the same reference numerals as those in the mobile phone device with broadcast receiving function 100A in FIG. 6 are the same as the corresponding portions in the mobile phone device with broadcast receiving function 100A. Function.
Note that the memory capacity determination unit 601 and the recording capacity calculation unit 602 can be integrated with the control unit 112.

When the user operates the operation unit 115 to make a recording reservation, the recording capacity calculation unit 602 reads the reserved program information from the electronic program guide data 403 recorded in the RAM 121 and records the program in the recording unit 117. Calculate the storage capacity required to
Since the distribution rate of digital broadcasting is almost constant depending on each broadcasting format, the recording capacity calculation means 602 can estimate the storage capacity necessary for recording from the time required for recording.
The memory capacity determination unit 601 compares the remaining capacity of the recording unit 117 with the predicted recording capacity obtained by the recording capacity calculation unit 602. If the recording capacity is insufficient, the user can select a video signal, an audio signal, Even if it is set to record all of the data signal, the program type is the same as the method described above, if the program only needs to record the result, such as a sports program, as described above. By performing more intermittent reception and recording only the data signal, it is possible to perform recording with a desired result even when the recording device 117 has a small remaining storage capacity.

Fifth Embodiment In the description of the operation of the mobile phone devices 100 to 100B with broadcast reception function described above, the case where the mobile phone device does not operate has been described.
When the mobile phone device is in the power-off state or in the answering machine mode, there is no problem because there is no competition between the display unit 109 and the speaker 110 that are shared.
However, when the mobile phone device is in a standby state, the digital broadcast receiving device is operated, and the display unit 109 and the speaker 110 are used, when a call comes from the other party or an e-mail arrives. There is a possibility that competition between the display unit 109 and the speaker 110 occurs.
Therefore, in the fifth embodiment, the priority can be set by the user's designation. Via the operation unit 115, the user sets the control unit 112 to prioritize the mobile phone device over the digital broadcast receiving device or prioritize the digital broadcast receiving device over the mobile phone device. The setting result is recorded in the RAM 121.

(1) When the mobile phone device is given priority over the digital broadcast receiving device Using the digital broadcast receiving device, the broadcast content of the desired channel is viewed on the display unit 109 and the speaker 110, and data is recorded in the recording means 117. When a call is made to the mobile phone device, the control unit 112 displays the content of the mobile phone device on the display unit 109 and generates a ringer sound or the like from the speaker 110. If the user goes off-hook, the mobile phone device can be used using the MIC 111. At this time, the display unit 109 and the speaker 110 cannot be used for the digital broadcast receiving apparatus, but necessary signals can be recorded in the recording unit 117 via the recording format selection unit 116.
When the call of the mobile phone device is ended and the mobile phone device is in an on-hook state, the control unit 112 puts the mobile phone device in a standby state, restores the operation of the digital broadcast receiving device, and plays the video reproduced from the display unit 109 and the speaker 110. And output sound.

(2) When giving priority to the digital broadcast receiving device over the mobile phone device The control unit 112 is in a state in which the mobile phone device cannot be used with respect to the base station of the mobile phone device, for example, a power off state, an answering machine Report the mode corresponding to the condition.
After the digital broadcast receiving apparatus is used to view the broadcast content of the desired channel on the display unit 109 and the speaker 110 and the operation of recording data in the recording unit 117 as necessary is completed, the control unit 112 It is confirmed whether or not a call has been made. If a call has been made, the display unit 109 displays the call.

(3) When giving priority to the mobile phone device according to the operation content of the digital broadcast receiving device In addition to the above (1) and (2), priority is given to the operation of the mobile phone device according to the operation content of the digital broadcast receiving device. Can be made.
For example, in the case of a method of martial arts, such as music appreciation, it is not desirable to interrupt the appreciation of music or the broadcast of martial arts by the operation of the mobile phone device. On the other hand, in the case of continuous drama broadcasting, mobile phone devices are often given priority.
Therefore, when making a reservation using the electronic program guide data 403 or the like, it is added whether the cellular phone device is given priority or the digital broadcast receiving device is given priority, and is recorded in the RAM 121, and the control unit 112. Can select two competing operations (incoming call processing) according to the contents recorded in the RAM 121.

In addition to the above embodiment, for example, the sensitivity of a broadcast wave is detected, and when the sensitivity does not satisfy a predetermined value (a state where video and audio cannot be stably received), the recording format of the data signal is switched. May be. With this configuration, even when the reception location (reception sensitivity) is mounted on the mobile body and changes every moment, the minimum necessary information can be recorded. Since data broadcasting repeatedly broadcasts the same data, necessary information can be obtained even when recording is intermittent compared to video and audio.
Further, since the recording means for recording data used for the telephone is divided into folders for each data type, when the recording means for recording broadcast waves is also used as the recording means for recording data used for the telephone, for example, a video signal and A file including an audio signal is recorded in a movie folder. When a video signal is selected and deleted from this file, the deleted file may be moved to the sound folder. With this configuration, it becomes easy to identify which signal the deleted file contains.

In carrying out the present invention, the above-described embodiments can be appropriately combined.
Further, the above-described embodiment is merely an example of the present invention, and the present invention is not limited to the above-described embodiment.
