【発明の属する技術分野】
本発明は、筆記具や化粧具等の軸筒やキャップ等の筒体に前後方向に揺動可能に装着されて、この揺動支持点から玉部を有する前端側が筒体表面に適宜の挟持力により常に付勢接触されており、該揺動支持点より後端側の操作部を筒体側へ押圧することにより、玉部を有する前端側が筒体表面から離れ、この開状態にて衣服の胸ポケットやノート等の被挾着物への挟み込み挟持を可能とするバインダー式のクリップに関する。

【従来の技術】
この種の動きを成すバインダー式のクリップは、実用新案登録第3043721号(以後、前者)、そして実用新案登録第3046649号や特開2000-79792号(以後、後者)に公表されているものが知られている。
即ち、上記前者のものは、クリップ部が、軸受、支持軸により筒体の表面に前後揺動可能に軸着され、クリップ部の後端側裏面に設けた突出片(伝導片)が位置する筒体の筒壁部位には略コの字状の切欠き溝を設けることで、筒方向に長くその一端を反発基部とする反発舌片を形成し、この舌片により、前記軸受、支持軸からなる軸着部を揺動支持点としてクリップ部の前端側が筒体表面に常に付勢接触されるように構成されている。

また、後者のものは、クリップ部が、回転軸により筒体の表面に前後揺動可能に軸着され、クリップ部の後端側と筒体との間にねじりバネや板バネ等のバネ材を設け、このバネ材により、前記軸着部を揺動支持点とするクリップ部の前端側が筒体表面に常に付勢されるように構成されている。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
ところで、筆記具や化粧具等の小物製品は生産性とロット数が収益に大きく影響するものであるが、上記前者の場合はクリップ部に支持軸、そして突出片を設け、筒体側には軸受、反発舌片形成用の切欠き溝を設ける等の構造が複雑となり、加工と組み立てに手間が掛かる。
また、クリップ部の取り付けは支持軸を軸受間に架橋状に挿し込むといった構造であることから、クリップ部の揺動開閉操作が頻繁に行われることで、軸受の軸挿通口が磨耗を来たして軸受から支持軸が離脱し、クリップ部が外れる等の品質性にも問題があった。また、クリップ部の支持軸や軸受が筒体表面に露出する構造であることで、高級な筆記具には不向きな構造である。

後者の場合にはクリップ部の筒体への取付け部品点数が多く構造が複雑になり、筒体への組み付けに手間が掛かる等の欠点が存在していた。また、部品点数が多く構造が複雑であるために、故障等も多くなる問題がある。同時前者と同様に高級な筆記具には不向きな構造である。

また、上記の前者や後者のように、後端側操作部を筒体側へ押圧することにより、前端側が筒体表面から離れる動きを成すクリップについてはUS5,601,376(以後、US)やWO99/42304(PCT/EP98/04204)(以後、WO)においても公表されている。
US特許において公表されているクリップは、筒体の後端側表面に設けた装着ブロックを抱き込むように係合させる爪部をクリップ部の後端側両側に内向きに設け、クリップ部の後端には裏面側に向けて折り返すようにバネ部を設け、このバネ部により、前記爪部による係合部を揺動支持点としてクリップ部の前端側が筒体表面に常に付勢接触されるように構成されている。

WO特許において公表されているクリップは、クリップ部の後端側裏面に、クリップ部の両折り曲げ縁から延設させると共に合せ縁が互いに接近するように内向きに折り曲げ且つクリップ部の前端側に突出させた挿入部を設け、この挿入部を筒体の後端側に設けられている固定部に挿入により取り付けることで、この挿入部のクリップ部に対する接続基部を揺動支持点としてクリップ部の前端側が筒体表面に常に付勢接触され、後端側の湾曲状に反り上げた操作部を筒側に押圧することにより、前端側が筒体表面から離れる動きを成すように構成されている。

本発明はこの様な従来事情に鑑みてなされたもので、その目的とする処は、筒体への組み付けが容易で、クリップ部に挟持力を付与するバネ支点の短期劣化を防いで長期に亘り品質の保障が期待でき、しかも、外観がシンプルな筆記具や化粧具等の小物製品に有効なバインダー式のクリップを提供することにある。

【課題を達成するための手段】
上記目的を達成するために請求項1の発明は、筆記具や化粧具等の軸筒又はキャップ等の筒体に前後揺動可能に装着されて、該揺動開閉支点より前端側が筒体表面に付勢接触されており、同揺動開閉支点より後端側の操作部を前記筒体側に押されることにより、玉部を有する前端側が筒体表面から離れ、衣服の胸ポケットやノート等の被挾着物へ差し込むことができるクリップにおいて、

【発明の実施の形態】
本発明の実施の具体例を図面に基づいて説明する。
図1は、本発明クリップAの実施形態の一例を示し、1はクリップ部、2は弾性部、3は筒体4に挾着や外嵌或いは圧入等により取り付けられる取付部であり、筒体4は、筆記具や化粧具等の軸筒やキャップその他の携帯を可能とする小物製品の本体部である。

クリップ部1は、金属板を用いた曲げ加工、或いは溶融金属材料や合成樹脂材料を用いた型成形により形成される。図示では金属板を用いた一連の打ち抜き、曲げ加工により製作される金属製の例を示す。
このクリップ部1の前端裏面(筒体4との対向面)に玉部1-1が曲げ加工により形成され、該玉部1-1の後方側には後端側操作部5を押した時に筒体4表面との接触下端部6-1がクリップ部1の前後揺動支持点P1となるように筒体4の表面に向けて突出させた支持脚部6が曲げ加工により形成されている。

支持脚部6は、クリップ部1の幅方向両縁から同幅間隔にて平行且つ適宜の突出形状と高さにて筒体4の表面方向に曲げ加工により一体に形成され、筒体4表面に接触する下端接触部6-1が、後端側操作部5を押した時にクリップ部1の玉部1-1を有する前端側が持ち上げられ筒体4の表面から離れるクリップ部1の前後揺動支持点P0となるようにしてある(図の状態)。
つまり、弾性部2の弾発力(バネ力)に抗して後端側操作部5が押されると、支持脚部6の下端接触部6-1を揺動支持点P0にしてクリップ部1の筒体4表面に付勢接触する玉部側が持ち上げられ筒体の表面から離れるように形成してある。

弾性部2は、適宜の剛性とバネ性に優れた所望の金属板から一連の打ち抜き、曲げ加工により形成されるものである。
この弾性部2の他端側には筒体4後端のクリップ装着部7に止め具8より軸方向に挟み込まれる輪状(リング状)に打ち抜き加工された後に、筒体4の軸芯に対して略直交するように略鋭角に曲げ加工された取付部3が後述する第2屈曲部10を介して一体に形成されている。

而して、取付部3が筒体4のクリップ装着部7に止め具8より組み込み取り付けられることで、第2屈曲部10にはクリップ部1の前端側を筒体4表面に常に付勢接触させる挟持力(弾発力)が付与される。つまり、第2屈曲部10がクリップ部1に挾着力を付与するバネ支点P2となり、クリップ部1の前端側を筒体4表面に常に付勢接触させるように形成されている。

また、弾性部2の一端側にはスポット溶接等の固着手段によりクリップ部1の裏面に固定的に添設される取付片部2-1が同裏面に納まる程度の板幅で同裏面形状に沿うように曲げ加工により形成されている。
そして、この取付辺部2-1との間にクリップ部1の後端側操作部5を押した時にクリップ部1の揺動開閉支点P1となる第1屈曲部9を介して後方下向き傾斜状で第2屈曲部P2を介して前述の輪状取付部3に連設する連設片部2-2が曲げ加工により形成されている。

第1屈曲部9は、クリップ部1の後端側操作部5を筒体1側に押した時、玉部1-1を有するクリップ部1の前端側が筒体4表面から離れる際の揺動開閉支点P1となるように取付片部2-1と連設片部2-2との間に略鈍角状に折り曲げ形成されてなる。

而して、以上のように構成された弾性部2の取付辺部2-1をクリップ部1の裏面にスポット溶接等の固着手段により取り付けることで、輪状取付部3を他端側に備える弾性部2がクリップ部1の裏面に具備される。
この時、第1屈曲部9がクリップ部1の後端側におけるクリップ部1全長の略1/3近傍部位においてクリップ部1の裏面に存在するように取付片部2-1のクリップ部1裏面への取付位置を考慮することが好ましい。

その理由としては、例えばクリップ部1の全長Lを40mmとし、250gの挟持力が得られるように設定し、揺動開閉支点P1となる第1屈曲部9が、クリップ部1の後端側におけるクリップ部1全長Lの略1/4部位においてクリップ部1の裏面に存在させた場合、後端側操作部5を筒体4側に押圧するために必要な力は875gになる。
また、第1屈曲部9をクリップ部1全長Lの略1/2部位においてクリップ部1の裏面に存在させた場合の力は438gとなり、前述の略1/4部位よりも押圧力が大幅に小さく(軽く)なることが実験の結果分かった。ところが、この様に第1屈曲部9をクリップ部1全長Lの略1/2部位に存在させることはクリップ部1の前端側が筒体4表面から離れる開き(開度)が前述の1/4よりもかなり小さくなり、例えば厚手のノート等の被挾着物Bへの差し込みが困難になる問題が生じる等の本発明の目的を達成することができなくなるからである。

これらの結果からクリップ部1の後端側操作部5を筒体4側に押す時の力が665g程度で、しかも、クリップ部1の前端側の開きが厚手のノート等の被挾着物Bであっても何ら問題なくスムーズに差し込むことができる開き(開度)を、クリップ部1の玉部1-1と筒体4との間に確保することができる等を鑑みると、クリップ部1の揺動開閉支点P1となる第1屈曲部9をクリップ部1の後端側におけるクリップ部1全長Lの略1/3近傍部位においてクリップ部1の後端側裏面に存在するように弾性部2をクリップ部1の裏面に取り付け具備することが好ましいことが分かった。

また、クリップ部1の両支持脚部6における下端接触部6-1の筒体4表面への接触係止が、前述の第1屈曲部9から略直角に筒体4表面方向に向けた下方位置かそれよりも後方位置(筒体4の後端側)において行なわれるように両支持脚部6のクリップ部1両縁からの折り曲げ突出位置及び突出形状を考慮することが好ましい。

次に、以上の如く構成した本実施例詳述のクリップAの筒体4への取り付け方を簡単に説明する。
まず、弾性部2の他端側に設けた輪状取付部3を、筒体4の後端に形成されているクリップ装着部7にセットし、その後、クリップ装着部7に輪状取付部3を挟み込むように止め具8を圧入やネジ込み方式により組み込む。
輪状取付部3が止め具8によりクリップ装着部7に挾着される取り付けがなされると、取付部3と弾性部2の連設片部2-2との第2屈曲部10には玉部1-1を有するクリップ部1の前端側を筒体4表面側に適宜の挟持力にて付勢接触させる弾発力が生じるものである。

次に、クリップAが取り付けられた筒体4を使用するときの作用について説明する。
筒体4を衣類のポケットやノート等の被挾着物Bに差し込み保管する場合にはクリップ部1の後端側操作部5を筒体4側に押す。
すると、クリップ部1は筒体4表面に接触する両支持脚部6の下端接触部6-1を揺動支持点P0とし、且つ裏面弾性部2の第1屈曲部9を揺動開閉支点P1として、玉部1-1を有する前端側が持ち上げられ筒体4表面から離れる動きを成し、被挾着物Bを差し込み得る開き状態となる(図3の二点鎖線から実線の状態)。

即ち、後端側操作部5を筒体4側に押すクリップ部1の開操作時に、曲げ等の応力負荷をバネ支点P1となる第2屈曲部10に掛けることがないことから、クリップ部1の初期設定挟持力を長期に亘り保障することができる。

また、図示を省略しているが、クリップ部1裏面への弾性部2の取り付けとしてはスポット溶接の他に、取付片部2-1を両側縁の鋸歯状の抜止爪を有する挿入片形状に形成する一方、クリップ部1の裏面には長さ方向両縁を内向き状に折り曲げた取付部を設けて、該取付部への圧入により取り付けるようにするも良い。

【発明の効果】
本発明のバインダー式のクリップは叙上の如く構成してなることから下記の作用効果を奏する。
玉部を有するクリップ部の前端側を筒体表面に付勢接触させる挟持力のバネ支点P2とは別途に、クリップ部の後端側操作部を押した時のクリップ部の前後の揺動支持点P0となる支持脚部をクリップ部自体に設けて、この支持脚部の筒体表面に接触する下端接触部を揺動支持点P0としてクリップ部の前端側を筒体表面から持ち上げて離すクリップ部の開操作を行うことができるように構成したことで、操作部を筒体側に押すクリップ部の開操作時における屈曲応力等の負荷をバネ支点P2となる弾性部と取付部との第2屈曲部に掛けることがない。
従って、頻繁に行なわれるクリップ部の開操作により挟持力のバネ支点P2が金属疲労(弾性疲労)を起こすことがない。よって、クリップ部の初期設定挟持力を長期に亘り維持することができることで、品質の安定性が保障されるバインダー式のクリップを提供することができる。

また、クリップ部の揺動開閉支点P0となる第1屈曲部を、クリップ部の後端側裏面におけるクリップ部全長の略1/3近傍部位に存在させてなることで、筒体表面に接触するクリップ部の挟持力と後端側操作部を押した時に筒体表面から離れる前端側の開き(開度)を被挾着物への差し込みに支障ない状態に確保しながら、後端側操作部を押す時の力を小さくすることができる。つまり、操作部を筒体側に押すクリップ部の開操作を小さな力で軽く行なうことができることで、操作性、取扱い性に優れたバインダー式のクリップを提供することができる。

また、バインダー式でありながら、弾性部の他端側に設けた取付部を挾着又は外嵌又は圧入等の簡単な取付構造、即ち、一般的な金属製クリップの取付手段として従来から採用されている輪状や一対の帯部からなるバンド状、或いは折返し挿入片状等の簡単な構造にてクリップ部を筒体に取り付けることができる。
従って、構造の複雑化と組立性に難色を有する支持軸や回転軸、更にはバネ材等を用いる従来構造に比べて、構造が簡素化されて組立作業性が頗る簡便となり、生産性の向上が期待でき、ひいてはコスト的にも有利になる。
