従来、各種資格試験や入学試験などは、受験者が所定の受験手続きを行った後に指定された日時に試験会場へ出掛け、記述式試験の場合には問題用紙に記された問題に対する解答を解答用紙に記入し、また、論述式（口頭）試験の場合には試験官に問われた質問に対して口頭で答えることにより試験が実施されていた。そして、試験結果の採点は、記述式試験の場合には採点者が模範解答等を参照しながら解答用紙に記された解答に対する採点を行い、論述式試験の場合には受験者が口頭で答えた内容に対する評価を試験官がチェックシート等に記録することで行っていた。そして、試験結果の通知については、試験実施者から合格通知書等の試験結果を通知する書類を受験者に送付することで行っていた。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかしながら、従来の方法で多数の受験者の採点を行うのには、非常に多くの時間を要し非常に効率が悪かった。そのため、受験者に対しては結果発表までに多くのストレスを与える結果となっていた。
