【発明の属する技術分野】
本発明は、机天板の上方に棚を形成する机上棚装置、特にディーリングデスク等の、棚の上にもCRT等の重量物が載置される机の机上棚装置に関する。

【従来の技術】
従来、デスクワークをするに当たっては、OA化に伴いCRT等を机上面に載せているが、その大きさでかなりの机上スペースをとることになり、作業するスペースが狭くなっていた。
また、ディーリングデスクのようにCRT等のOA機器を複数個使用しなければならない場合、すべての機器を机上に置くことが不可能な場合は、机下か机横に置かなければならず、作業効率が悪くなるばかりか、このようにしてもスペースも限られるため、多くは置くことができなかった。
このため、従来のディーリングデスク等では、側板の奥行きが充分ある箱状の棚を載置して机上棚としてCRT等の重量物をその上に載せていた。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
上述の従来のディーリングデスクの机上棚では、重量物の支持に問題はないものの、奥行きの大きい側板によって机の天板面の有効利用が妨げられ、しかも棚高さの変更ができなかった。

本発明の目的は、天板の有効面積を損なわず、しかも高さ変更可能かつ重量物の載置にも耐えられる机上棚装置を提供することにある。

【課題を解決するための手段】
本発明によると、上記課題は、次のようにして解決される。
(1) 棚支柱を、前面にブラケット係止用の係止孔を縦方向に複数個備えた第1の支柱部分と、この第1の支柱部分の後方にこれと連結して設けられた第2の支柱部分とからなるものとし、前記第1の支柱部分の下端に、前方を向く当接部を設け、この当接部を、机脚の上面に当接して、棚支柱の荷重を受けるようにし、前記第2の支柱部分の下端に嵌挿部を突設し、この嵌挿部を、机脚の後部適所に設けた垂直方向の嵌合部に嵌挿し、かつ前記机脚とねじ止めすることにより、前記棚支柱を、前記机脚の後部上方に立設し、左右の机脚上に立設した棚支柱の前面に、前方を向くブラケットを介して、棚板を高さ変更可能に架設する。

【発明の実施の形態】
図1は、本発明の机上棚装置(1)を有する2個のディーリングデスク(A)を並置した実施形態を示す斜視図である。この実施形態では、2個のディーリングデスク(A)の中間の机脚(2)は後部のみの短いものとして示されているが、一般には机脚(2)は両端に示されているように机の前端まで延びる長さのものである。

ディーリングデスク(A)の後端の隅部には、棚支柱(3)が立設され、その前面に縦方向に複数個穿設されたスリットすなわち係止孔(4)の任意の高さのものに、ブラケット(5)を係止させ、このように高さを揃えて取り付けた左右のブラケット(5)に棚板(6)を掛け渡してある。
