本発明はおむつに関し、より詳しくは着用者が横臥せ等の状態になっていても排泄物の横漏れを可及的に防止できるおむつに関する。

本件出願人は特開２００３−１９９７７８において吸収シート（尿取りパッド）を挿脱可能な袋部を有するおしめカバーを提案した。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
上述の出願は吸収シート（尿取りパッド）の挿脱が容易であり使い勝手がよく、しかも通気性に優れているものであり有用なものである。

ところが着用者が横臥せ状の体位になっていると、股ぐり付近から排泄物が漏洩することがあり得るという難点を有する。

そこで本発明は着用者が横臥せ状の体位になっていたとしても、排泄物の漏洩を可及的に防止できるおしめを提供することを目的とする。

【課題を解決するための手段】
上記課題を解決するために請求項１記載のおむつは 液透過性の内生地及び液不透過性の外生地を備えたおむつにおいて、内生地の長手方向に排泄物の漏洩を防止するためのストッパを設けると共に内生地と外生地の間のほぼ全体にわたり吸収シートが挿脱可能な袋部を設けると共に、短辺側全長にわたる袋部の開口部をオムツの短辺側の一方又は両方に設けた。

以下、上述のように構成される本発明が如何に作用して課題を解決するかを述べる。

本発明に係るおむつは内生地と外生地の間に袋部を有し、且つ、袋部内に吸収シートを挿脱することが可能なものである。この吸収シートにより着用者の排泄物を捕収するのである。

係る捕収手段のみによっては着用者が横臥せ状態では股ぐり付近から排泄物が漏洩してしまうおそれがある。そこで本発明は内生地の着用者に接する側の面の長手方向に沿ってストッパを設けた。このストッパにより排泄物が一旦堰き止められ、ストッパに沿い拡散される。そして液透過性の内生地を透過して吸収シートにより捕収されていくのである。

かように本発明に係るおむつではストッパにより排泄物が一旦堰き止められるがゆえに股ぐり付近からの横漏れを可及的に防止することが可能となるのである。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下、好ましい発明の一実施形態につき図面を参照しながら述べる。

図１は袋部の開口部を短辺側の一方に設けた請求項１記載のおむつの斜視図であり、図２は同、開口部を短辺側の両方に設けた請求項1記載のおむつの斜視図であり、図３は袋部の開口部を短辺側のみならず、両股ぐり付近にも設けた請求項1記載のおむつの他の実施例を示す斜視図である。また、図４、図５は請求項1記載のおむつに設けられたストッパの実施形態の一例を示すものであり、ストッパは長手方向に帯状に二列に、或いは、略U字状に設けられている。図６は請求項２記載のおむつの斜視図である。ストッパを長手方向に略方形状、つまり略長方形状に設けて全周縁部を立ち上げ、どの方向からも排泄物が漏れないように形成されている。

【発明の効果】
本発明は以上のように構成されているが故に、着用者が横臥せ状の体位になっていたとしても、排泄物の漏洩を可及的に防止できるおしめを提供することが可能となるのである。また、各図面から明らかなように、大きな吸収シート３を取り出す開口部がおむつの短辺の全長にわたり設けられているため、吸収シートの挿脱が容易となるだけでなく充分な洗濯及び乾燥が可能となり、衛生的である。
また、請求項2記載のおむつは略長方形状のストッパがその全周を立ち上げて排泄物をせき止めるため、どの方向へも排泄物が漏れないのである。
